Project Description

Create a custom workspace in Illustrator

ASSIGNMENT

Create a personalized workspace in Illustrator. This assignment will make you aware of everything Adobe Illustrator has to offer, where you can find it, and how it can be optimized with your workflow. You will know what is accessible to you as well as how you can apply it to maximize efficiency and creativity in your design and illustration work.

DELIVERABLE

Upload a screenshot of your workspace. A finished project includes:

  • A screenshot of your workspace
  • A brief description of how you use the workspace
  • A simple illustration or design you created with your tools

BONUS SERIES CHALLENGE: Create a Brand System

For all of you more advanced illustrators out there, I have a challenge for you! You will incorporate the lessons and Illustrator features from this entire series and create a whole new brand system that includes:

  • Brand logo
  • Brand colors
  • Brand pattern
  • Web page or package design for your brand

Share your project in the project gallery of any class in the series with the "Series Challenge" in the Subject line. Winner will receive a special prize from my design studio. Submissions are due March 27th, 2015 by 11:59pm EST.
