Project Description

a6388f92

Put your new skills to the test!

Your goal for this project is to caricature a photo of either a human or an animal by using the liquify filter in Photoshop.

Try to convey a sense of character and personality in your digital manipulation and look for opportunities to streamline shapes.

Basic Practice Goals:

  • Enlarge the head.
  • Use the Mask tool to protect areas of the face such as the eyes, mouth/teeth, nose, and brows.

For extra practice

  • Enhance the image with drawn details such as reflections in the eyes, thicker eye lashes and eyebrows, color in the cheeks.
