I roast coffee at home, I've read some guides and talked to a few people for pointers on how to make a good cup, and done a lot of trial and error experimentation. I feel this video guide by Blue Bottle does an exceptional job communicating the important points, and even a little bit beyond the critical information, without getting boring or dwelling on details.
