1. Starting Off: Okay, so we start with a new page and I have placed these four blocks of grain rectangles. This is just to make the text that I'm gonna place in top stand out. So to create these boxes, very simple. You just use the rectangle to click drag benda fill color that I've used is to eat to eat That's the color used, the great that used you Just place some and resize thumb and text that we first begin with is style number So I'm gonna use a front aerial and I'm going Teoh bold this out So it's very clear like no one has to search for it. See, Have you stall number Enough to that. Have your products. What is the product that you want to have created by the factory? It's the range this text sheet I'm doing a bikini and a bikini is under swimwear and this is for the season. You have to specify full style number. It's up to you how you want to create your style number because the tick sheet is for a bikini. I am using the letter B for the key and then syriza won because first take sheet so much up to you Which kind of system you want to use and for the range. Like I said, it is swim there and the season is spring summer 1070. Just to make your life just a little bit easier, you just copy bouts, paste it, place over here. And over here we are going to do the dates. So this information is like absolute overall information that you need to have at the top of your page for every texture that you create. Whatever, regardless of what your your layout is, and then quantity, How many pieces do you want the factory to make and over here gonna put your brand name If you don't have a brand name, you just put your name just a quiet name brand name to you. Let's change the Funt Teoh 10 And the brand name I've chosen is Blue. Go and then here you gonna place your contact information. Definitely. Always make sure that you have placed your contact information on every text sheet that she sent to a factory. They don't want to go through emails trying to find your contact information. Just make sure is there available and easy for them to just grab and then usually place your phone number and your email and on the right hand side, off your text sheets. Usually you place your logo. If you have a local, I was just have a logo and this is the first step. This what you need at the top of every text sheet on. Now we are going to work on the rest off the layouts for the sheets. 2. Creating A Layout: create a layouts. I am going to divide the page. So I'm gonna go to my rectangle tool and I'm gonna not have a fill color. I'm gonna have a black color and quick and drag. So the rectangle is not exactly half, but just over half the halfway mark, and then a good this is this tool, and I'm gonna cut it. Okay? I'm gonna sleep that part. This line is gonna be extended all the way across to the end. So you've divided your page into three parts. The first part is for the overall information off what is below one side? This is gonna be where we're gonna place technical flats and hear all of the information of sizing and fabric. The stroke off our dividing lines is 0.75 Now, we're gonna continue with this design, So if you have a design at the top, just continue it throughout the pages of this. More uniformity with everything. Copy that paste here. So I'm gonna have difference. You're gonna have different sections in your, um, tech sheets. And usually different sections are size and fabric a size followed by fabric construction style notes, alterations and the measurement charts. So it's just just to make it easier for a person to quickly no read if you highlights and make your title standouts meanest for the third rectangle, we're going to stretch it out all the way across. And then finally, one. And the great thing about bikinis is that there can be low cost production with a high return. Now we're gonna work on placing the information. 3. Filling In The Sheet: Okay, so we're gonna place text regarding the different sections that you have on your turn sheets. And that is size information to the size 11 right over here. Let me go down, Teoh fabric information. So the headings that I'm gonna be pacing on the sheet are there basic headings that you absolutely need. You cannot proceed without all of these headings. The factory really requires all of this montez spacing that you believe underneath is up to you and also, depending on your design, my design is a simple string bikini, so I don't need that much space for starts in sections. We have construction, construction and style notes. Has to do construction start notes, has to do also with, like the Paterson. There's something different about the pattern that they need to pay attention to. You put it there. I'm gonna go across place the measurement charts because the measurement chart it's been replaced at the bottom right side of the page. Then you have your alterations at the bottom. Now, the section for alterations is on Lee. After your initial sample, your initial sample obviously has an alteration to initial sample being your first sample will not have any alterations. And then I have created the mines box. This is very easy to create course. Just go to the rectangle to the bottom to delete they have your lines and you just place and rotates to creates columns so easy. Okay, now we're gonna place are inflammation inside. Okay, so we're gonna start with the size information underneath this size. Information you are going to have have your size range. What is the size range off the products. Are you making pieces? Only for small, only for medium or you making from small to large and underneath. You're going to place our sample size the sample size off this products of the sample. Is it going to be the suffer that they're going to make for you is going to be made in large or in a small size range? Usually is extra small tickets for a large, extra small, Two extra large. But if you are being conscious off costs, I would say small to large, and we're gonna make this regular. And in the simple size, universal or the most common sample size is small. The reason being most fit models are smoke and then we go below to the fabrics. Information over here. You gonna place content just below the content. It's the color below. That is yes. Watches now your fabric contents Fabric content is basically what is your fabric made out off when you buy coats, you have that tag, the back of a T shirt, whatever it is. And he usually has percentages of what is included in that. So for smooth, most common is 80% nine long, 20% last state, and then the color universal color code that is used as Pantone. And if you don't anything about Pantone codes Very easy. Just go to the parent on websites and go to Panton. Find a color military. They literally have a page called Pantone. Find a color that you picked the color that you like, and it shows you what the code is. And this is a pink and don't need the swatches. I'm just gonna place allocation boxes, So if you have switches, you just place them right on top. There she makes it easier. They have a little bit of order. So so to speak. Good of my smart guides, everything is in line with one another, and the swatches that you're gonna place you would have a fabric swatch. If you have a fabric swatches, we don't. It's fine because you put the information and just look for samples for you on. So you have, like fabric swatch. And if you have a print, you put the prince watch. Okay, let's just make this a regular and then that's it's for the side of the page. Now we're going to move on. Teoh Typical flats. 4. How To Take Measurements: for a technical flats. You can get free vectors from several websites. You can go to designers nexus or free downloads. Go to shut a stock. Some just got a copy, a point on the technical flats paced. It's to create my indicator lines and indicated lines are usually read. Just removing felt there. So the indicated lines that I am placing to mark are to mark the measurements that you're going to take. If you leave one of these outs, it will affect your whole Patteson. And the thing with factories is they're not gonna call you and say We're missing a measurement from here to here. There are too busy to be calling you to verify something, So they're just gonna go ahead with information that they have, which basically means that your sample could be wrong. The measurements could be wrong. And what that does is that you're the one is gonna end up having to pay more money to rectify that, because alterations are not the stroke that I've used for all of my indicator lines is Europe on five points, but this one in the middle, because it's such a small area, I'm gonna change it and slightly smaller. So it's so everything was more visible. And now we're gonna place our letters. Awesome indicator letters from the phone size. I'm gonna use this six. I usually use letters a pulled the way through Teoh x Y it. But usually you won't have that many letters. Very complicated design and all the information we're gonna place below. It's being what each letter stands for. So the bottom I've already done. So now I can explain everything to you. This let the letter a from the top to the bottom. This is just This is to show the length up your bikini top four inside one breast and this is the side edge. This is the connecting strip, the under bust technicians underneath your bust, across inside and outside on the side. And then for the bottom, you have to take measurements on the waist. And this is for the centre front, off your bottoms, the crutch, the thigh, opening the length off it. How long you want us to be? The site seems the centre back different letter because it's a different measurement back is obviously bigger than the front. The thigh opening different letter for different measurements. And the site C he's are the essential measurements you need for bikini tech shoots. He missed any one of these. You're greatly affecting the outcome off your products. Now we're gonna move on to the measurement charts. 5. Measurement Chart: so for the measurement charts he could see already filled it in created the box. If you want to know how big the box is, we just show you. It is 815.94 points by 384.13 points, 815.94 points by 384.13 points under y axis. Okay, and I have 123456789 10 11 12 13 rows and Columns 12345677 by 13 or 13 by seven and I have placed on the top. P. O. M P o m. Stands for point off measure. Was it the letters and believe you can call it whatever you wanna call it? Call it. A point of measure you can call it seem, indicates lines. I just use peer and because it's for space reasons. But usually sometimes Rosita seem indicates the lines and then your description, and then you have your sizes extra small, two extra large. Now this is for grading and grading. Usually it's about a centimeter or two cents meters. In between grading, you don't have to worry about it with your initial sample, the initial sample, you just do the small size. And then when he comes back, if he needs alterations, you wait again. You only degrading based on perfect sample on for grading. You can even get someone to do that for you or the fact you can do that for you, or you can do it for yourself. Okay, so let's start to fill in our box. So eight, as I explained, that's from the top to the bottom. So this is the lives. So you would write what is a explain? It's in a very clear, simple English, I would say then off bikini top. Okay, length of top, including binding. There's binding on my design, so it means that when you took the measurement, when they're taking the measurement off, the bikini is literally from the very top to the very bottom left of top, including fighting cape space left. You need top bikini top, including by noon. Let me go down to be and be is the inside over here inside edge and then see this under bust. And as you can see on a sample, which is good for one aside for one breast is of course, the other one will be absolutely identical measurements. And for the D, that is the connective strap. They don't really care about how you phrase things. What's really important is that you just clearly allocates everything. E over here is oh, side edge And then we have F, which is the waste business here. Efforts, the waste and then g is the side. - Jay is the centre front. You can say here center, friends and then K is a thigh opening also. So that is the back by opening L is the center back. 6. Finishing Off: Okay, So under construction style notes, as you can see, have added a few details. I've added them binding with the neck strap month. The back strap left. This is the binding. So they're gonna want to know how wide that is. And you're gonna want to know how long Neck strap is in the back shop, okay? And so let's just recap. What's exactly it is that you need We need your overall information, which would be the stall number products, range, season dates wanted, see brand name and contact information. I need to add a love this at the top off your page and then below any just size information was the size range of the quantities that you're going to be asking the factory to produce for you. And what is the sample size off this initial sample on and then below that you have your fabric information. What is the content of the fabric that has been used but every fabric that you have chosen to use? And if you have a simple the fabric even better, if not, maybe the fabric will have samples, and in those sanity, and then you pick which one you like, according to the contents that you have chosen out the underneath you have your color. Always, always, always use a pattern code. It's reduces any room for confusion or getting the wrong color. Underneath that you have used area for swatches. If you have any swatches, and then we have the construction in style notes in a specific construction details that they need to pay attention to that sweet place. It's, uh, alterations, that is, for after this initial sample, of course, your technical flats and then you have your mission charts, and this is all of the information that you absolutely need, and that's it. It's actually pretty easy and pretty doable. Good luck with your tech sheets. If you produce one yourself, please definitely added below in. Share it with the rest of us that definitely want to see how other people's took sheets. Look, and if you have any questions at all, just reach out.
