Project Description

The purpose of this course is to force you to analyze your goals and intentions with pursuing a career in the music industry. To succeed, you must know who you are, be confident in it, and consistently practicing and fine-tuning your craft.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: I hold your perfect job position in my hands. Pitch yourself to me in 150 words or less.

By the end of your pitch, I should know:

  1. Who you are
  2. What the perfect job is
  3. Why you want it
  4. What you bring to the table that separates you from the pack

It’s okay if you don’t have your entire career mapped out, but you should at least have an idea of what you want to do. Have fun with it, but really take to heart what you’ve learned in this course.

I have a BA in Music Business from Berklee and I’ve held internships in several areas that support my ability to do the job effectively, including marketing, music supervision and concert booking. I’m confident that my experience and tenacity will make me a great addition to your team.
