1. Intro : thank you for joining it. And for this tutorial, I'm going to be showing you how to create your very own unicorn shake in watercolors. I will go over a little bit of the drawing first, and I have the pencils there. But if you have, um, if you don't have watercolor pencils and you just have regular watercolors, that's okay. You could still do this project. I just wanted to share what it is that I was actually using their. And there is a close up of what it will look like and just something fun and easy for summer where you can still practice your skills. 2. Drawing : first up to get started. I am going to do an outline off the cup, and I noticed that this little the light blue was a little hard to see on camera here. So I will placed a reference photo in the Project Description area so you can feel free to refer to that any time. If you are having trouble seeing anything and after the outline of the cup, I put a It's a little bit higher than middle wavy line across just for a separation between all of what's on top and the actual bottom liquid part all the goodies, they're gonna be up top. They are marshmallows and Sprinkles so you can start off. And they're They're very basic shapes, ovals and circles and color wise. Majority are yellow and pink, and there's a little bit of light purple or some contrast and compliments. And then with the Sprinkles, you can switch it up a little bit. I use like a little bit of, um, a really bright blue green and again the pink and yellow and all the fun rainbow colors for the bottom part of the cup. I mainly used like a light sky blue and then for the shadow areas. I used a little bit of an ultra Marine for the inside reflection of the glass part inside there, in between all the marshmallows, I just used a really light gray. 3. Transforming with Water: next up, you can get started with the spoon and I'm just gonna go in with the light gray and then down towards the bottom. I did use some of the colors that were used with marshmallows because there was a little bit of a reflection there down towards the bottom. I decided to add a couple more pieces of the marshmallows to help balance out the composition a little bit the marshmallows and Sprinkles for this next section here. I'm going to get started with the water, and I'm gonna do start off of the top with the marshmallows and I'm gonna do every other one because I don't want the colors to bleed together so you can keep it wet, dry, wet, dry. - And once you reached a certain point, you can stop and let it dry and then come back to do the rest. 4. Details and Finishing Touches: And for this last section here, I just, um, double check to make sure everything was dry, and then I'm gonna go ahead back with my water and finish up what I didn't get a chance to do before And just, like, clean up some of my lines and make sure I have all the details that I want it. Okay. - Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoy this tutorial. Be sure to check back for more. And also, if anyone is interested, I have a lot more water color tutorials available. I have, um, both I have, like a regular watercolors and the watercolor pencils available.
