About This Class
In this class, curator Mia Quagliarello will explain how to make magazines and grow your audience using Flipboard’s new curation tools. She’ll also kick off a weeklong drive to get your project featured on Flipboard.
Curate a magazine on Flipboard around something you’re passionate about, and we’ll roll out the promotional red carpet for at least three of our favorite magazines, including featured placement in our Content Guide, a blog post featuring you, and inclusion in the top-read Flipboard Picks.
Flipboard is your personal magazine. It’s the most popular way to catch up on all the news you care about, discover amazing things from around the world, and stay connected to the people closest to you.
With Flipboard 2.0, you can save and collect the things you love into your own magazines like “Trips I Want to Take” or “Dream Homes.” These magazines can be private, or if you want to connect with like-minded enthusiasts, you can make them public and share them on Flipboard and beyond. Now everyone can be a reader and an editor.
Mia is currently the head content curator at Flipboard, the world's first social magazine. Before joining Flipboard in 2011, she was YouTube's first editorial/community manager, where she managed the site's homepage features, social media, and community marketing programs. Mia has also worked at Apple as iTunes' Editorial Manager for Video and Rhapsody as Senior Managing Editor. She started her career as a copywriter at MTV Networks, in New York and London.
