About This Class

I learned this exercise in Seth Godin’s altMBA program. It’s a quick, easy, and effective way to get out of your head and focus on others that cultivates generosity and gratitude.

This simple exercise should be done three times a day. Do it every day for a month and it will become a daily practice you don’t think about, but just do.

You will be amazed at how this exercise nourishes both the person you are praising and yourself!

Good reminder to be and do good
Totally recommended! Scott nailed a basic and simple action but for some reason very forgotten! You get used to the blessing of life and forget to give thanks. I agree that if you have a thakful heart, your life and vison is totally different. Thank you Scott for reminding me about this and good exercise, to make it a habit.

Scott Perry

Stoic Guitarist, Teacher & Fellow Traveler

Scott Perry is the first-born Leo son of a tough Irish mother and a stubborn Polish father. Leaning in, leaping, and causing a ruckus come naturally to him as does his knack for leading others to join the fun.

In the lesson studio, from the stage and on the web, Scott demonstrates the relevance of the blues and the value of storytelling. Some say he’s pretty good at it, but Scott’s still learning and leveling up. He’s been at it for a long time, but Scott Perry is just getting started…!
