About This Class

A workshop format class to figure out your brand's voice. We will work through the personality of your brand to create a clear and compelling voice.  Download the worksheets and let's go!

In this class I will take you through content and tools I use when working with clients, leading branding workshops, and tools I use with my students. I will lead you through a real world example and use a new business I'm launching as a real life example, to show you how I work through these steps. Follow along as the video plays, pause when you need a minute to brainstorm and hop back in when you are ready. 

This process is used by me on a daily basis when working with my clients. Whether you are trying to develop a personal brand, a brand for your business, or a brand for a client, knowing the voice of your brand is essential.

This is by far the BEST workshop I've ever done on branding - and I've been through my fair share! Each past class gave you a list of things you needed to figure out on your own so you could discover your brand (voice). Gee, if I already knew how to discover it, I wouldn't be looking for help in taking these classes!! In this class, Chris actually leads us through the process, giving us resources to lead us into discovering our particular archetype in marketing, and walks us through the whole process. He also takes us along with him to follow his footsteps as he works out this process for his own new brand. So easy to finally get it this way! I've already written out all my worksheets and have my brand identity finally figured out!! OMG! If you've had the same experiences with other classes as I've had, you don't want to miss this class!!

Chris Fredricks is the creative director and founder of OPEN co. a design studio focused on building brands, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The studio is an incubator for brands we launch, a platform to educate entrepreneurs in our community and a design studio. Chris started OPEN co. after four years as the Art Director / Designer for the sun care company Sun Bum, during their early years. He also is currently a Visiting Professor of Graphic Design at Grand Valley State University.
