About This Class

Update 712/2019 - I wanted to share with you a new tape that I am loving with my open bezels.

Simple Resin Jewelry for Beginners - Create an Art Resin Pendants and Earrings set.

A beginner class on creating a few simple resin pieces. You may also like my newest Resin jewelry course as a follow up to this one Abstract Pendant Art Necklace - DIY Resin & Alcohol Ink Step by Step Jewelry for Beginners

We will cover the Brand Art Resin in this course. We will create a few pieces using an open bezel.  If you have other brands of resin to use that's okay, just make sure to follow the directions of your brand. Art resin is my favorite since it has a long cure time and it gives plenty of time to create before it dries. If you wait for 72 hours it will be fully cured in most cases.

In this course you will learn how to correctly mix and tint your resin and create beautiful wearable art pieces. We will use a number of options to tint including Acrylic paints, Ink, and powered pigments. You will see the process step by step in REAL TIME and create some terrific one of a kind, unique jewelry pendants and earrings to either wear or create to sell in your own business.

Looking for the supplies, I've made it easy with listing them all here in my Amazon Shop.

In this course  will cover:

  • Creating beautiful and unique pendant and earring art to wear.
  • Create pendants using different techniques and materials.
  • We will cover working with Resin and how to tint your resin by using Acrylics, Ink and powdered pigments.
  • I'll even share my supplier secrets.
  • Sometimes necklaces or findings sizes don't always match up for An easy fix is to use a little jump ring with necklaces that don't fit -  they have them in the is little Jewelry Kit. Here's a little youtube video. Depending on the size you need they also have just the jump rings in a number of sizes. I do like the kit though it has a lot of the goodies in there plus a little ring that helps open and close the jump rings.

I also have a MEMBERS Only Facebook Page just for my students. You can post your work or ask questions, plus you can chat with other students.
