About This Class

Welcome to learning how to draw outfits on traditional/official fashion silhouettes (they are known as Croquis in the fashion world... it rhymes with Hockey... feel free to call them whatever you like they still serve the same purpose)

Skill Level: Intermediate/Beginners - Some knowledge on how to draw people and clothing would be beneficial for your project

Okay let's have a brief overview of what we will be doing in this class and hopefully it will provide you with a new skill to add to your creative arsenal.

Tools you will need:

- A4 Plain White Paper

- As many of the printed out Croquis as you desire

- An HB Pencil + Eraser

- Colouring pencils or any other colouring tools

In this class:

Basically, you will learn how to be more creative with garments on a Croquis, but to break it down more...

- I will select 2 of the Croquis and draw two outfits as examples for you

- You will select a 'Fashion Silhouette' or Croquis and...

- You will draw on the Croquis the outfit you are wearing when you start this class

(For example, if you start this course while you are in your Unicorn Onesie or Cat PJ's that is the outfit you will be drawing on your Croquis)

- You will learn how I draw clothing on the female silhouette (aka how a skirt looks when walking or how a rolled up shirt sleeve looks, etc.) This should help give you tips and ideas on how certain clothing items could look on your Croquis.

- Style your model (aka hair, shoes, etc)

- Some tips and tricks I've learnt over the years

I encourage you to please post progress photos for all of us to see as you complete each phase of the class, I know I'm not the only one who will want to see your progress.

*Be sure to check out the class project for all the goodies that you get for the class

(This class is really meant for Intermediate/Beginners - Some knowledge on how to draw people and clothing would be beneficial for your project - but anyone and everyone is welcome, you can never stop learning something new <3)

Okay, enough procrastinating, Let's do this <3
