Agus is a freelance fashion consultant and an expert at identifying trends. With a powerful double degree as an accountant and a fashion designer, more than six years of experience in New York and a passport full of stamps, she currently works independently consulting for brands and companies and developing content for social networks as an influencer and coolhunter. She also gives lectures, seminars, courses and workshops in Argentina and abroad, in companies and institutions such as FIT (New York), CEDIM (Mexico), Polimoda (Florence) and Altos de Chavon (Dominican Republic).
She was born in Buenos Aires in 1981. She received her degree in Accounting from UCA (Argentinian Catholic University) and worked as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. When she was 22 years old, a serious car accident left her confined to a bed for two months and inspired a radical change of direction in her compass. As she could only move her hands, she began sewing and started her own apparel company. For two years, she developed and drove a brand with her own name, until she decided to move to New York and make a profession and a career of her newfound passion.
She studied Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design and then went to graduate school and enrolled at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in the Global Fashion Management program. During her years of residence in New York, she worked for brands and companies like Lanvin and Li & Fung, styled for fashion photographers and magazines like Elle, and was manager of the Groupe Seize sur Vingt store until she returned to her country after receiving a job offer at Falabella, one of the most important department stores in Latin America. She started working as Fashion and Design Coordinator and then went on to become Trend Coordinator, both positions that implied being constantly informed of the last minute updates in local and international fashion and involved frequent trips to New York and Europe.
Agus personifies the ideal mix of two worlds with different languages. She stands out for her versatility, which places her at the center of a Venn diagram: she is perfectly fluent in the language of business and, at the same time, she expresses herself with the creativity of fashion. She is a sociable and extrovert woman, with a curious, lively and entrepreneurial spirit. She contributes for fashion magazines such as DMAG and has her own trends column in the prestigious Argentinian newspaper La Nación. She enjoys yoga, meditation, riding her bike around the city of Buenos Aires as well as meeting people and traveling the world giving lectures and detecting trends.
