About This Class
The Introductory module of the course begins with a review of the definition of Emotional intelligence.
Next, the student will review the outline of the 5 Scales and 15 underlying sub-scales of Emotional Intelligence, with the focus on the second sub-scale of Self-Perception, which is Self-Regard.
Module Two will cover the definition of Self-Regard, answering the question “What does Self-Regard Behavior Look Like”? We will study the behavior of high and low Self-Regard. We will discuss the benefits of humility, building good relationships, and mindfulness or “quiet time”.
Module Three will focus on 3 "Pause and Think" exercises, which will allow the student to practice Self-Regard using real-life examples - answering questions, working with family and friends to gain insights into personal strengths and weaknesses and building a list of goals for strengthening weaknesses. .
The student will use the attached “Personal Project Worksheet” to capture their thoughts and comments.
In summary, the student will be encouraged to continue building upon the information gathered in the “Personal Project Worksheet”, forming an action plan for setting Emotional Intelligence goals for continued improvement.
The student will be asked to follow me on "Skillshare" so that they can be notified when the next set of Emotional intelligence courses is published.
