1. Email Marketing Strategies: have you started to build your email list and now want to know how to get better results? I've been using email marketing for the past seven years, and I'm still surprised by the power off email campaigns and in particular, how little tweaks in your campaigns can result in massive boost to your email results, such as improved open rates, higher, click through rates lower and subscribes, and, most importantly, an increase in conversions. These are easy to fix issues that I've seen on many beginner email marketing campaigns. So to start things off, many companies send their campaigns using the wrong from email address. I've seen many companies use the following. Do not reply at their domain of comb or a no reply email address. The problem with these types off from addresses is that they are very impersonal. This shows your subscriber that you are not open to communications. You're simply sending emails as a company to fix this. I suggest you always send your emails as a person. Ah, much better. Email is hello at your demanded come or using the word team, or you can even create emails with your name on them and use that as a from email address. Now, this will make your emails appear much more personal, and you should notice better results from your email campaigns. The next mistake, which I want to discuss, is many users make their emails too complicated. One way off. Making the email too complicated is adding too many call to actions in your message or adding too many deals or inserting too many graphics, which make the email copy simply confusing. When writing emails Simple is better, you will get much better results. If, in your message, you only have one call to action. When a subscriber opens your email, you want them to instantly know what is expected. One message in your email and one call to action. If the subscriber likes it, they will click it. If not, they will leave. Simple. If you over complicate your messages, you will get lower results. That's the basic truth. But you will also make it difficult for yourself to measure the effectiveness of your email campaigns because you have too many call to actions and you won't know what exactly should be measuring The next issue is very annoying. I have experienced this in a couple of times after subscribing to numerous lists, and I'm referring to hiding the unsubscribe link. Here's the logic of the strategy. You have a list you want to have as many leads as possible, and you don't find them to leave via the unsubscribe list. Therefore, what some marketers do is they try to hide the unsubscribe link there are few methods to do . This one is to leave a lot of white space between the email content and the bottom off the email. So whenever somebody wants to unsubscribe, they have to scroll down really a couple of pages, just scrolling, scrolling, scrolling until they have the unsubscribe link. Now the problem with hiding your answer scribbling is that if a person cannot leave your list, they will categorize your email as spam, and then you will have a bigger problem because your messages may start getting categorized . How to Improve your Emails with Split Testing: in this lesson, I want to talk about split testing your email campaigns. This strategy is absolutely necessary to optimize your results. But the real benefit is that over time you develop 1/6 sense for the type of emails that get a great response, as opposed to emails that's perform same average. And I will show you how to set up a split testing campaign. But to start, what can you split this in your email campaigns? So the first and most obvious is the subject line. You can set up two different subject lines and see which performs better on open rate is half the battle already won, and the subject line pretty much letter minds the open rate. Next you can split. Test your email content. You need to write your email copy to interest the visitors and motivate them to click your email link. So the more people read your email and click, the better your email copyist. You can also try different from fields. For example, you can send the same message one on Monday and one Wednesday. See if there's a day of the week that performs better. Ah, message, name and subject. So we have the message name, the subject line and the from field. Now the split testing part is actually hidden here, So what you have to do is you have to click on distribution settings and then click a B testing on. Okay, then click on the next step. Here you will select your template. So for this example, I'll just click used template. The 1st 1 the best one. So here create your message. Once everything is set up with your message. Then you will cook on the next step. And here we have arrived at the A B splittist settings, so you can choose. What thing do you want to split us? Whether the subject line the from field your email, copy the content of the email or the delivery time for its split test. You just want to test one element at a time so that you have results that you can compare and see which one is a clear winner. So, basically, if you're going to split this the subject line, you would just type in your new subject lines here. And if you want, you can just split this to which I would suggest you do when you're starting out. If you want, just click on, add more and as you can see here, you can split just up to five different subject lines. But it all depends on the size of your list. So if you're just starting out, I would suggest you just split this two different subject lines. That would be a good start. So here, if you want, you can split just different from fields for the content as you can see here you can create a new message, or you can duplicates the your one template so you can also test up to five different messages here and here. We have the settings for the delivery time, and with that I will end this lesson. So if you're just starting out using this tool, then perhaps first get familiar with setting up email campaigns and sending him and then take this extra step and start split testing all of your email campaigns. Your results can massively improve. How to write a converting Welcome Email: hello. In this lesson, I want to give you a blueprint for writing a welcome email. The welcome message is the email that gets instantly sent to a new subscriber. It's a chance to introduce yourself and start building your relationship with your new subscriber. It's vital to have the welcome message as it gets the highest open rates from any other email that you will send. So it is your chance to share your value in your first email and make sure that your subscriber opens the next emails that you send them. Let's first review some effective welcome email subject lines. Here are two variations, however. You will have to customize thes subject lines for your offer and test to see which performs the best. So if you are offering a free course, then you could use the name off the course of the subject line. For example, email, marketing course or time management training here is not a variation off the subject line. If your subscriber instantly received your content after filling in their email, then you could welcome your subscriber to your list. Here are some suitable subject lines that you can use. Welcome to email marketing. Welcome inside or welcome. Here's your coupon so you can do this for a coupon for a discount for a download, anything that you're giving away. Now let's have a look at the email content now. For this, I recommend on easy three step formula Number one. Welcome the subscriber and introduce yourself, then provide them with the promised content. And to finish off your message briefly. Talk a little about what you will offer them or what they can expect from you in your upcoming emails. So depending on what you promised your new subscriber, you could send them a logging link to your course, our direct link to a tutorial or a download link. So there are many variations off this. Here's a sample welcome email. So to start the subject line that I have used is welcome to Web design for beginners. In this case, Web designed for beginners is a video tutorial, Siri's. Then, for the first part, I have a brief introduction. It's official. You have joined the course. I'm Tom. I create this training for anyone who is interested in an easy way to create fully customized webpages without coating. Then I go on a little to describe this training. For the second part, I am sending them the promised content. In this case, it is a link to access the course. So, as you can see here, you learn an easy way to build your own webpages. Using a free Web page builder, you can access the training here. That's where I insert the link, and then I go on to describe the training. So in the first module you will learn the process, offsetting your domain, hosting and getting a website online to finish my welcome email. I'm letting them know what they can expect for me. So now go watch the next lesson on the email. Welcome. Siri's strategy 5. The Welcome Email Series Strategy: hello in this less, and I want to introduce you to the email. Welcome. Siri's strategy. The basic concept off this strategy is to introduce you to your email subscriber off course . When someone subscribes to your list, you can send them are welcome email, which was covered in the previous lesson. But the welcome email. Siri's goes a whole step further. Not only do you welcome your new subscriber, but the email Siri's gives you a chance to introduce yourself and your brand to your subscriber in more detail. The benefit is that your subscriber gets to know you and gets familiar with your emails so that when you send your actual email campaigns, the user knows what to expect and opens your email. The problem of not using a welcome Siri's is that you do not properly introduce yourself to your new subscriber, and when you send an email campaign, your email list will not know who you are, and you run the risk that users will see your email and label it as spam, which will result in lower deliver ability. However, if you do a good job in introducing yourself in the welcome Siri's, then you're investing in better email results in future campaigns. So how long should you welcome email? Siri's being well. You could make it as long as you want, But generally speaking, you should aim for 5 to 7 emails after your email sequences over. Then you can start sending normal email campaigns to your email subscribers. So what should you include in your welcome? Email. Siri's. Each email you send should have a particular purpose. What do you want to introduce yourself? Your product? Share a story about your experience? Here's a sample formula for writing your email sequence. Mm one is your welcome to your list message. I'm assuming that you received a subscriber because you promised to provide them with something off volume. This could be an e book, a solution, a video I tutorial. I cheat sheet power point slides or anything else you can think off in your second email. You could share a story about your background. You could answer the question why you are qualified to provide solutions in this particular field. In short, it's a story about yourself. You do not have to link to your offer, but you can. In the ending, you should have a summary with a link to your solution, product or offer. Moving on. Let's cover what you should write in emails three through to the most five. Now, a good strategy is to provide value to your new subscribers. So instead of bombarding your subscriber with offers and specials, you could send emails with links to valuable content, like a video tutorial, a block post. Or you could try to connect with them and send them to a Facebook group or your YouTube channel. That way, when you update content, they will get notifications not just through your email, but also through other sources. Now let's talk about the timing off your emails. So how should you schedule your email? Welcome sequence. This is a welcome Siri's. The user has just subscribe to your list. You need to establish yourself as an authority fast so that the new lead recognizes you and doesn't forget about you. So for that reason, you want to send your email one day after the other. If you have a five day email sequence, then it will take you five days to send it. Afterwards. You can stand them your email campaigns. If you're welcome series was effective. The user will recognize you when you send future email campaigns. Open your emails and there is a much better chance off them clicking your links and you having better conversions. So that's why I strongly recommend you write your email sequence and make sure that when a new subscriber gets added to your list, you send them thes five or seven emails and establish yourself as an authority so that your new lead will know what to expect from your emails when you send them in the future. 6. How to Boost Engagement in your List: Welcome back to my training in this lesson. Own a share with you're not a good strategy to improve the engagement off your emails. I've already covered in a previous lesson that your emails should be talking to the person from the point of view of a person and not sending a company notice. For example, you do not want to send a message using their Do not reply domain or no reply domain. You'd rather make your email look as if it is sent from a person something like this, for instance, using your name and your domain name. These messages appear more personal and more human, however, to get uneven, better response. You can take personalization a step further. So what do I mean by this? Here's a simple example. You could use the person's name in the subject line. Ah, person's attention will naturally get drawn to their name, so you may experience a higher open. Right now, it has been noted that by including the person's name in the subject line, you may experience up to 16 to 22% increase in your open right. This is just a simple form of personalization. Another is to greet the person using their name in the actual email. You can even use the person's geographic location in the subject line or the email. However, there is one prerequisite to using this type of personalization. You need to collect this information from your subscriber during the initial opt in form. If you only collect email, then you cannot personalize your emails as you do not know their name. However, in certain industries you will collect a lot of data about the individual. Then you can use the data to personalize your email subject line as well as your email copy . Let me show you how easily you can personalize a message in your auto responder. So let's go to menu email marketing. Create newsletter. Okay, drag and drop the militar. So we have started on email, and on the first set of page, we can add the message name. Okay, then move over here, you see personalized. Just hover your mouse over it, and you have various tags that you can add to your subject line so you can just at the first name or last name, or if you just collected name, which can include the first name and last name. Just click on there and now. Actually, what I'll do is so we have the subject sample email one, and after that, their name will be displayed. So if you've over over personalized, you see there are many different tags that you can use here. You have some types for the location. You can also add custom fields. Company gender. Well, there are a lot of tugs you could just go through with them, but the most popular wants to use will be the location tags and name tags. So that's how you add these personalization tags to the subject line. Now show you how easily you can add these tags to the actual email content. So just click on next step so I'll select a template to use. Okay, so this is the template that was loaded, and I can already see here that they're using one of the personalization talks for the first name. Now, if you want to add other tags, just click on the content and let's say I want to add a tug over here, so what you do is move your mouse over to this little person here, personalized clicking it and you have access to the personalization. Talks came, so this will result with the email being displayed here or again can click here on Let's click on the name, and that's pretty much how you set up the personalization. However, there's one more thing which I want to show you. What if you have the name for some people on your list and you don't have this information for others? Can you still personalize your message? Well, yes, you can, but for this you need to use a full buck. Here's an example off the normal name tug, which you saw earlier in the actual email template. Now hear this. Would I fullback value So you've got the name talk, and then you just add fullback equals and then adds whatever value you want to use. So what will happen is that this is how it would look in your email dear and then use the tag with the full book value. And if you have the person's name, then it will display the deer and the person's name. However, if this daughter is missing, then you will see dear friend. So it's a very good solution if in your email list. You have some details for some people, and you don't have the details for other people, but you still want to personal life it as much as possible. Then you can always use a full buck value. So then the emails will look good no matter what you have about the most subscriber, and that wraps up this lesson. So if you're collecting the name or other fields, you can personalize your messages and you will notice I boost in your results. But as with everything concerning email marketing, you need to test it and see what works best for your industry, for your business and for your list. 7. How to get more Opens without more work: in this lesson on to reveal to you a powerful strategy for getting more email clicks from your email list. Imagine writing anymore. Spending hours, getting your copy just right. Then when you send it, you get your subject line wrong and 95% of your list ignore your message. They don't even open it. So what do you do? Normally you would move on and write the next email. Send it and see if you get a better response. However, there is a strategy that you can use to help you get more clicks without doing more work. This involves. Resending the same email to everyone who didn't open the email, but with one little tweak. You change the subject line so essentially you are re sending the same message. Changing the subject line. Onley Sending to people who didn't open your first email. Let me show you how to do this in the auto responder. So here's how to do this in and also responder, go to menu and click on email marketing. Okay, so find your message over over here and click on statistics. Now scroll down until you find here this group here, unopened and click on email Group came. So yes, and now create your message. So here you can at the message name and at the subject line so you would add the same details used before. Obviously, this isn't a subject that I used, but you would add the same message that you set up in the initial email campaign. Then you quicken next step, then you select template, so you would go through the exact same process you used to set up the initial campaign. But the good thing about this is that on Lee, the email contacts who did not open your email will received your new message. And believe me, this strategy is really powerful, and it is useful because yet to reuse your email copy and basically test a different subject line, let's go back to the power points. There are a couple of more tips that I need to cover. So a key question is, when should you re send this email? I suggest you wait 24 hours. 24 hours is a good time for your contacts to check their email, and after, If they still haven't opened your message, then you can resend it with a different subject line. Now what to do with the context? Who opened your first email? These are leads that have expressed preliminary interest in your offer so you can do the same steps that I showed you before. Go to menu email marketing. Find the email quick on statistics scroll down and here you have opened contacts so you can click here and email this group and for this group of contacts who have open your emails, have expressed interest. You can write the new email and send it to them and see how it performs. That's the power off email marketing. You see exactly how your contacts are responding to your email campaigns, and you can customize your emails to different groups of contacts.
