Project Description

You can download (and then upload) the class project on the pdf form provided. The class project has two parts:

  1. Write a comment identifying what you struggled with the most in the practice videos (e.g., A specific listening barrier, one of the types of listening, etc.).
  2. Make a listening plan (see below).

You will create a written listening plan based upon the course lessons. Essentially, you will create a “cheat sheet” to help you solidify the course content, boil the tips down to the essence, and put it into practice for your next important conversation.

In the listening plan, you will identify the following:

1. When is your next important meeting or interaction?

2. Who will they be interacting with and listening to?

3. What is your listening goal for that interaction?

4. What tips from the course will you put into practice to meet that goal?
