FAQ

  • Do I need to use Mac?

No, you can use Windows too. I started to use MacBook 3 months ago, so almost all of my time I spent editing on Windows-machine. One thing that you need to know about different shortcuts, but you can easily do same action using Ctrl/Alt-buttons.

  • Do I need to install additional plugins and effects for this course?

No, all tools that I show in this course are already installed in Adobe Premiere Pro. If you use last version of the app, you're completely ready for learning.

1. Join the Class!: Hello, and you'll get a maximum. And I am YouTuber and independent filmmaker based in Russia with the idea of workable alike, but not today. Today I will speak about editing you two videos in Adobe Premier Pro. I have worked in Adobe Premier Pro for my last eight years and I made, I don't know, maybe around 1 thousand video and most of them we owe for YouTube. In this class, I'll show you my whole process of making this type of videos into one main ideas that I want to show you is how to edit fast and efficient. You know, time is money and we need to use it carefully and with maximum profit. During this course, I'll speak about these topics. First one, Some advice is for you creators why folder structure is one of the key too fast editing, how Premiere Pro works and which window we will use at 100%. Then I'll show you how to edit a row B-roll, how to use keyframing and make your own presets. How to record audio straight into Premier Pro, how to color grade, mix your audio. And final lesson about exploiting your final video. This class is perfect for those who only installed Adobe Premier Pro entered. Don't know how this program works. I know it's complicated, but it's not complicated. Cool already make video in Premier Pro, but spend so much time for figuring out how this specific tool works and who want to improve editing workflow, making things faster than usual. So was that into our course and make some videos? It is and videos. This video both can Malika, Russian spirit stuff. So let's go. 2. One Main Advice for Creators: Welcome to the class. I hope you like it. And first, things that they want to speak about before we jump into our editing is about sharing your work, sharing your creative passion. Feel free to speak about different things that you really like because well, I have a struggle when I remembered myself 5678 years ago when I hit YouTube channel, but I want to speak about it. I felt YouTube channel in Russian language, but I didn't succeed at all. I think one of the main reason is I wasn't self-confident about this creative stuff. I think is that all my videos is like garbage boring, curb bullshit, and I can't even talk about it with someone. So I just tried to hide myself and tried to separate myself from my YouTube videos. Youtube for staff, authors, YouTube stuff. I think this was a really bad mindset and certainly strange mindset. And it was a terrible mistake because again, I spent seven years making YouTube videos in Russian, but I didn't succeed 70 years, almost eight years. My idea is really simple. Feel free about sharing your project. Feel free about sharing your words and speak with other creators about your work. I can guarantee you, is it your first video probably will be not good. They will be probably really boring with a lot of different problems. And you need to accept this because it's okay to make a lot of different mistakes because, well, you learn a new skill. You are trying to shoot yourself to speak different thoughts, write down your scripts to edit your videos. And it's a lot of different skills that you need to combine in yourself or you need to spend a lot of money to hire an editor to making this video. Well, I don't think that this is your way. I kindly ask you to not making the same mistake that I did and please feel free to share your works, develop your skills, make a bad videos. At the beginning, it's completely normal way to improve or go to improving yourself. And I need to improve my English language speaking of different stuff. So right now we are ready to open our computers and speak about for destruction. First of all, first thing that we need to do before opening Adobe Premier Pro. So let's move to another less than yes. Why not? I hope this little piece of motivation will help you during your learning and editing process. So let's move to another lesson. Let's go. 3. Folder Structure of Your Edit: Before jumping into our edit, we need to do a lot of things. But first one is organizing our files. I use a really simple folder structure when I'm shooting F simple video without additional cameras, a lot of locations. Just for example, this talking head with recording screen and with external mic, I have a different folders and folders with my projects. A US projects holder. For each project I made a specific folder. This one will be a test for Dutch for our coors course. When you Brian and if Sandra Bland. And in this folder I make as usual for different folders. First one is our video, second one is for our ODR. Third one is for different stuff by a different enzyme 4s1 for Tom male. And we have the situation when we have all material in one specific place and it's so easy to share. Is this a project of ys are the editors, for example, you just sent as a whole project folder to anyone and he can just open these files. He has all leader or material in one place. For example, if you project one year ago, you can just open this project folder and you can not worry about locating specific files. For example, if you need video, you're just finding video folder and says, Oh, it's so easy to use and you won't be in the situation when you have to edit on different BC and you will edit with the missing files. It's so annoying stuff. And you, you can have wedges using this folder structure. So I put our desk in this folder. So for example, Order some of audio WAV files enter material from this camera. This is a really simple structure for really simple videos. If I have more complicated shooting, I use additional layer to Zeus folder structure. For example, I have free days of shooting and I just make additional folder called B1. For example, frozen lake. Frozen lake. I don't know why I like these because I haven't see frozen lake and male Hawaii. But and put all this material ends is they want folder. And for example, if we have this canon goldberg footage, some drone footage from a GI Marek pero, we will make additional folders for each camera. For example, cannon. Yes. Go abroad. And our Malik. Yeah, that's all. It's so easy to do. It's so easy to organize this file with this method. So it was pretty easy. And we right now can open our Premier Pro and make our new project. 4. Interface of Premiere: We open our premier abroad and we can make any new project, just hit a button. And Maine new project, for example, it will be addressed and which is location for our project. And also I made a specific folder called Project and we will keep all project files for Premier Pro. In. Premier Pro make a lot of different and unusable folders for you and files for you who have breast. Okay, and open our main window of Premier Pro. And we need to adjust this layout, this workspace for us. We can use different pre-installed workspace for different, as for example, for calibrating for effect, for our audio mission, for aiding graphics, we can use this installed workspace and make our own workspaces for our purposes, for our tasks, let's make one for YouTube editing. First one, we need to just a throwaway different windows that we won't use. We can just close the media browser library's info. History. I don't know who uses it. Also throwaway AudioClip mixture and metadata end. We need to open one specific window called Audio Track Mixer. All windows. For this workspace, we can open and close a using window up. So our layout Israeli, we just open Window workspaces and save as new workspace and we called it YouTube ADD ink. Yes. That's all. I highly recommend that you do. Dry out the different workspaces, different layouts, and figuring out what's the most comfortable for you. Because as a proper workspace will save a ton of hours, you need to think that workspace is like moved it dual for example, you can use a lot of different stuff in Multi-tool. And you need to set this multi-tool to work for you, especially for you speaking about is all small windows. What do they look first one is our project window. It contains all our imported file in this specific project. For example, we will import our files from our really cool and fancy folders. We care for different types of view. For example, least you eat so really comfortable for a big amount of different files I can view is perfect when you have a lot of graphic materials, different videos you can see is this preview, for example. These videos, it doesn't work good for audio. It's okay, It's nothing could just simple icon. And the last one is free form. You and I, I really don't know for why what? I don't like it. If you double-click on specific beam, it will open in the additional window, we can choose a different view settings in this specific beam. So it's really handy to use. If we double-click on the file, it will open in our source window. We can use it for watching care specific file before dropping into our sequence. So it's easier to just make a really rough cut. For example, we can just march in Windows, needs this beginning and our anion because it's, it's, it's quite useless. Let's get our rough cut and we can just drag and drop in our sequence. These edited clip effects window collects all different effects for audio, video, for calibrating and our presets, we have a lot of different transition the video effects. And one thing is that you need to do. I recommend that you just read your most usable effects and the maker specific folder. For example, you made a custom been called the mile off. For example, my love. And for example, you like to use a Luma Key because you have a lot of green-screen shooting and you just drag and drop in this folder and you just copy this effect in this gas down below. It's much easier and faster to just open your favorite, been, been with flavored effects and just use it ends. The next window is Margaret is show us all different Marxism. We'll, we'll made, we will add though when we added a role, for example, and we can just drag it in this window. Next one is timeline. We will spend, I don't know, maybe 50, 60, 70 percent of all our editing times in this specific window. So we just create a new sequence. For example, it's just an example. And this is our sequence where we will build all our video. And you can see is that timeline is connected to our program window, so you can navigate through the whole sequence using the same markers in the program and on the timeline, we will speak more about different windows and features of these windows in future lessons. So don't worry, There's a lot of buttons, but we won't use it. And know maybe one button, two buttons. And, and that's all. So don't worry. Next window is effect controls. For example, we have for this really shiny, this beautiful video and we just click on it and we have he's properties. In this effect window, you can see a different setting, for example, position button scale, but on reputation. And we can use it for different animations. Keyframe incur, but we will speak more about it later. And if we add a different effects, it will show him here in this Effect Control tab. This window is second of the most usable in Adobe Premier Pro. And the last one is Audio Track Mixer is so easy to use because I didn't know how this logic works in Premier Pro, but you have more flexible tools for editing and adjusting your video, not audio. For example, you can use Adjustments layer four videos. You can use effects. You can apply effects on master clips, but speaking about audio, you can do nothing. You can make an adjustment layer for audio. You can't master. Adjuster your massive clip that will effect on the whole clip audio. So we will use the audio track mixture. It's works really easy. You just open this up and you have different layers on our timeline. For example, first layer is from this video footage and we can, for example, want to make a noise reduction of wind noise reduction. Just click on this one button. Click on the noise. That's all for whole AudioClip. We use. So the Niger, and that's all. You have. No need to apply this effect and adjusted on one individual clips and go be this Brexit for additional clips for another eclipse. You just, it will bother, you just use audio track mixer. And it saves a lot of time. If you don't like the result, you just click one button. That's all. Effect doesn't work and we have to really tiny windows. First one is for switching between different tools and the second one is for monitoring our audio volume. And that's all. This is a quick review of interface of Premier Pro. In the next video, we will make additional adjustment into the preferences and we will ready for editing. So let's go to the next slide, Dan. Yes, let go. 5. Applying Important Setting Before Editing: Before editing, we need to make a little adjustment in the preference of Premier Pro. So open up our preferences window, Add Media Cache. We need to set automatically delete cache files, folders, and for example, 30 days or the leads, the biggest and oldest cash, it's up to you. I prefer the lead after 30 days oh, for not using this type of videos. And next one is memory. Adobe Premier Pro likes to kill almost all your RAM installed on your PC do reduce different freezes long loading, sir, I recommend to you to set as much as you can as usual, I said around 70, 60 percent of all my installed RAM, it will be enough for our really small and easy footage. Next one is timeline. We will edit a big and long bunch of footage so we need to set out the scrolling, set on Smooth Scroll. Also, the most important settings is our shortcuts. Here is brought to you. We'll spend much less time using your keyboard, not using touchpad or your mouse. We will said bulk of important shortcuts. So open our keyboard shortcuts, we can see all different shortcuts, zed Premier Pro Hess, and you can set specific action on a specific button. First of all, we won't use blade tool at all. It's so useless. We will add, do different shortcuts. First one is add edit. I said that on C and also add edit to all drugs. I said that on the Shift plus c, It's very handy replacement or first standard blade do first one you need to take a blade or second one, you need to find the specific place where you need to make a god. Third one, you are making gut, gut a fourth one, you're returning back door selection tool. You can use only one button instead of disease for actions. It's so useful, so powerful, so handy. And so on. Next one is, are they, again, I use it for really quick, really faster audio mixing. For example, when I add music, I want to make it much quieter. I use this tool to again set it on G. Next one is missing a glib. I used it a lot when you, for example, you need to apply a stabilization for video and also slowdowns this video, for example, it's two times, you need to slow down this cleavage, then you make a mescaline and after this you apply stabilization. It's a really strange, but it's Premier Pro. It has a really strange logic, indifferent effects. We will set M button as the last one is speed or duration of our clip. I'll set it on S, and that's all we are ready to work. You can see a simple logic as for speed the G4 Audio Gain, and for maintaining equilibrium. So it's so easy to remember. So around 20 minutes passed and we are ready right now, we are ready to jump into our edit. So let's go. 6. Editing A-Roll #1 - Making Sequence, Using Shortcuts: Okay, it's time to start our editing. First of all, we need to understand that editing process has a lot of different steps. For example, aided arrow edit be euro at some music, audio mixing CO, transition effects, and after them, we have the final result, export. So the first one is really simple, a role. We have one video clip from this camera and audio from this record. This video, I will show you how to make a sequence, how to synchronize our glib and how edit make rough guard really easy and really fast. This video I released on YouTube, it called for race for making money. And 2, Let's make a rough cut and make a sequence. Firstly, we need to understand our final results. I speaking about the special video properties, for example, like resolution frames per second. Different export settings depends on the purpose, depends on the social platform. For example, for YouTube, you will use so one setting, so and for exporting Instagram stories, so you will use in other settings. Absolutely another, we can see brokerages of our original videos that will be a sample for this sequence. So we just open properties and we have, we can see you then ATP and frame rate at 25 frames per second and we are ready to go. First one is really simple. You just use the simple clip m, the droplet on the hour damn land. And here at least our sequence created. And this sequence, he uses the same settings from our sample video. And as always, we have a small button called new item. It's looks like just a little sheet of paper. We can make a lot of different stuff using this button. But again, we can just drag and drop our file on this icon. It will make the same sequence as we made it before. As the third way, we just click on New Item and choose sequence. And we can see a lot of different presets for various cameras. For example, for every read or for example, DSLR, like this camera that I'm using right now, I'll choose presets that fit for me. So it's the ASOR, 10 ADP, 25 frames per second. And we can just click, Okay, and here this, our sequence is ready for work. We can use these presets are for adjusting key to another format. For example, you want to make or Instagram video and the unique make it in square format. We will use this press at the open our settings and we have detailed information that we can change. We need to change only two values. So it's our frame size, one hundred ten hundred by one hundred, ten hundred. And if I click again, new sequence will liquidate it, but I don't need it, but I want to save the settings for my future video, for example, which I will be a record for Instagram. Exactly for Instagram, I click Save Presets a name. I choose Instagram. One by one. And description I alright, for Insta boast. And right now we have our Guston beam with our custom preset for, especially for Instagram, but we don't need it. I just graded just by dragging and dropping. And let's add our hour, just Shrek and just again, drag and drop. You can see is it our sequence has different video and audio tracks. We have this middle line, it's like a dividers. And below this line, we have our audio track, and above this line we have our video tracks. So it's so easy to navigate and understand which drug is video or audio. Our sequence is ready for work, but we can't right now aided our material because it's unsynchronized. So you can see is just its MS and we need to synchronize as this stuff if I have hold of them and a lot of interests in synchronizing these clipper by myself. I will just look and just again, no, I need to add the two milliseconds, moves to the left and adjusted dual feed, this DRX, what we are professional in it. So we will use a simple tool. Just select all our tracks and right-click and find synchronized button. Click on it and you synchronize by OCR click, Okay, and just waiting, KO, just waiting and waiting. And both groups are synchronized right now and we are ready to edit. We don't have this mess, so it's clear and simple and really useful. You synchronize tool for synchronize different audio and video tracks. How to edit this really fast because we have 20 minutes. This material use different shortcuts. First one, we have our J, K, and L buttons. These shortcuts is for controlling our play back. If we're pressed L, our playback or move forward, if abreast key, it will both our playback and if we press J, our blade back move backwards. Enzyme main advantage of these shortcuts, if you press, for example, on l du times, your playback will place two times faster than usual. So you can save a lot of time just looking through all this material using a faster playback. Next one is our replacement of blade tool. We made a shortcut on Edit. We just press it and we have our aided as a place where our playhead is located, we just use one short gut instead of choosing razor blade to just login, which blazer to guard, breastfed and after this search, whose again selection tool. It's so, it's so long. Shortcut edit is really simple and we need to combine it with a nasa, do different shortcuts on Q and W. These shortcuts called rebuilt dream and disaster, so powerful and so useful and save tons of time. For example, we are looking through all our material. We need to make our editor just bracing sees and we'd need to select, then we need to delete and then we need to move all this material to our gut. Feel affection for action so long it can make the same 45 actions. In one click, we just rescue and all this part that we don't like, we'll deleted and as a, but we'll move to our gut. The last cut, there's a main differences between U and W is our deleted parts. So Q deleted the left bar and w deleted right part of our clips. For your understanding, if you want to delete the left part of these clips, we will use just rescue. If we want delete the right part of our clips. So we will use w. And so it's the main shortcuts it I'm using all the time when I am looking all my footage right now we are ready do a looking through all our footage and deleting all garbage from this sequence. So editing of our role is really simple. We just looking through all our footage and again, controlling cow Bloomberg using key L and J, making cut and using q and w for the leading unneeded parts of our footage during editing arrow, I am adding a different markers, do mark different places where I need to add some text may be a different bureaus. If we need to place our marker, we just press M and we have these green marker. We can double-click on it and write something. I'll show you later in editing Bureau how I manage disease markers. Editing arrow is really simple and really boring. We need to may exist thinker as fast as we can. So this is why I am teaching you how to use shortcuts. It's all about our productivity performance and saving our time and money, and we're ready for our next lesson. We will edit more advanced level of a role using CMS, cleave, multi-camera editing, and applying different really simple effects. So let's jump into it. 7. Editing A-Roll #2 - Multi-Cam Editing, Nesting the clip: So we have three different files. First one is a video from my cameras, second one is from my screen, and third one is audio from this record that let's add additional materials like screen recorders. We just drag and drop. We can see which specific place we can just put this file. And the last one is our audio file. We are ready to go, but first one we can see is that these windows is Screen Recorder is much bigger resolutions and my video file, we're from camera. We can use free different tools. First one is opened our effect controls and adjust our scale. And we can just tweak it around 60, but we can do the same just using two clicks. Right-click on this clip and weekend have our action called Scale to Frame Size boiler. You can see is that the value of scale didn't changed at all. You can use Set to Frame Size, not scale. And we can see is that our scale value changed. I prefer scale to frame size because this value didn't change. And you still have this flexibility in this set on 100 for this specific video, I want to make a loop like this video is, has two different angles. So we have this main angle with my face. And second one, we have our screen. In this screen recording, I will use only half of this screen because my main actions is located on the folder window. And we can just GOT as the other half and throw it away. And let's do this. For this, to angle a look, we will use multi-camera editing. We need to nest our video clips just selected. Click on the link. We disconnect our video layer from audio layer, so it's just an individual layers. In this video, we will use only this mike recording, so we can just delete these two audio tracks. And after this we will just click M because we made the shortcut for nesting egg leap and call it multi com bump. And we are ready to go. Right-click on this next clip and find multi-camera and click Enable. Right now we are able to choose which angle we will use. We can see that appears MC1, it multi-camera one. And we can choose our cameras using a number buttons I just pressed to enter our camera changed. Do we need to just add a two different additional buttons? First one is multi-camera record on or off, and second one is toggle multi-camera view. Right now we have only two video sources, but if it will be more cameras, so we will see another sources in additional windows. And right now it's so easy to edit these multi cam view because you just press Spacebar, watching this video and choose specific video clip. For example, I want to hear the show my screen. Right now. I want to show my face. Beautiful face. Again screen recording. And after we stopped our blade back, we have our edit made on z's timeline. You are working like a director or for football much so you're just looking and choose a specific and best angle that works right now for the second layer, I said that I don't want to use as part of the image. It's, it's useless for us. So I opened our next clip. It's located in our project window. Just double-click and we open as additional sequence. I want to cut off left part of the image here. So I'll adjust the Open Effects looking for crop and just drag and drop on this video. Or for example, you can just double-click if your video is selected and the has the same result. Or you can drop into the effects controls window. And I just cut the left part of the image just a half. And I want to feed this window for full HD format. So I just open again. Effect Controls. Adjust a little bit, scale, always a window, and move it to a right angle of z video. And here it is, there It's all. But right now we have a problems at my face. Doesn't look nice because it close to biases window. We just take our screen layer and drop it on the upper layer. If it doesn't exist, either wheel appears and we will create a new one. Let's make a copy of my face just hold option and drag our layer on the upper free layer. And it's much easier as end user command C, Command V or Control C control V. Or if you're using Windows and we tweak our horizontal position, something Gly exists, we can just at Alito scale and we need to make a nest clipper V's, these two layers is that we are tweaked because if we open our multicast and we can see that it's not. Okay. So we are and they stink our clip called it multiplayer multi-screen, for example. Up. And right now we can see is that though it so look pretty nice. So we have our main Luke, who is my face, and the second look with my face and the screen recording. Right now, our task is simple and really boring. Just looking through all this footage and cut and throwaway different garbage. I won't use a multi come edge right now because it's so I could distraction when you just throwing away different and use it. Not needed foolish. Let's see how much they AM I will spend for editing exists eight minutes of footage. It will be 25, 10 seconds for you because it will be a day in lab. So let's go. I spent around six minutes for making a rough gut and As meant around 23 minutes for looking through all this material and just setting as a second angle. So i just looking at this footage. So again chunk thumping on the screen, I just brrr breast do on this screen, on this footage, on this clip. And it's all, so our arrow is ready. We don't need to spend a lot of time for editing itself. We just spent more time for settings, for adjusting our window and adjusting our project into right away. But don't forget that your experience, we'll help you spent less than a year in this routine. Really simple operation. So it's a really simple. We just use nest clipper, 2 times little cropping, cleaved or positioning and feature of multi-camera editing and thiazides. All it's not like launching a spaceship into the space. All is a really boring and simple operation. And you need to handle visit. In the least amount of spam. It's time to make our food dish much more better using a B-roll. So moving bill and next lesson. 8. Editing B-Roll - Adding Effects, Text Layers: We are ready for our B-roll edits. We need to add a legal they mimic using a different layers and different effects. I will use the sequence from video about four ways for making money. And you can see I added a different markers. I showed you Margaret window when we adjust our workspace and we have all our markers and we can move really fast. And between these markers, I place different markers at specific places. In this place, I will add a text layer, moving to the next one. I have here a specific voice, really rough and I want to increase the disease thrilling from this voice using ARAF gut enter zooming in. Next marker is first one is my future revision. I will add again text layer. Next marker is about resonance. I will impart different footage from my seat register where I have vessels and request source. Next 1 thousand rubles. About. So in this place, again, we will add to different texts layers. Let's edit our first marker and add a simple text layer, just breastfeed or use this Type Tool button. And we're just clicking in our program windows. We have our windows for making text and we can see that we have new layer, text layer I will write for ways for making money. Yep. And, uh, we are ready to go. We need to edit this formed its size, its position. So we open our effects control and moving to adapt with our text, I want to use a different font. I usually use Mueller formed. I like it. It's, it's nice. It's a nice font. I need to center this text so I will use a center align. We can position value, but I like to use just a Positioning tool, using Selection tool, and just place it at the center. I want to tweak more this text so I will use her drinking a little bit and adjust our second line, make it more closer to the first line. And also I want to make a shadow of this text. We can use a different strokes, for example, background. If you need to make a subtitles for a video. And I'm just adding a lethal beat. Shadow, again, little positioning and I wanted it make it much larger. And that's all. Our next layer is ready. I want to draw people's attention exactly on this text. So I will also edit myself and add a little blurry effect and maybe something more. So I just make edits here. And here, and I adjust my text layer. On this duration, we will add different effects on z's video clip below our text layer. And I want to add a little blur. We have our Gaussian bluer and let's make it around 70. Why not? 60, 70, and I want to make it horizontal. Almost everyone use just horizontal and vertical blue. And I think we need to make our own style, even in this simple effects. So everyone use horizontal and vertical blue. It's a standard Gaussian bluer, but I want to use it horizontal because it has a nasa look. And I have another kind of style. When I'm editing these videos, I highly recommend to you to try out different effects and find which one is perfect fit for you. And you will achieve your own editing style, editing technique using different effects that no one use. So try it out. And also I want to color this blurry image in green because we are speaking about money. So it's or green or lake of gold. And I just use color balance in my original YouTube video, I used different effects, but Oh, I just have this thought right now. It's just a beer, so oh, maybe we should color this frame in green. Why not? I think we need to experiment a lot every new edit because it's the only way to develop our skills and develop our style. Our effects are ready end we need to add illegal, illegal transition to make it a much cleaner and just make a fine a look. I highly recommend to you to use only one or two different types of transition. Because if you use it too much, if you use a different types of transition, it will show that you don't have a taste in your editing. Editing, or just don't use transition at all. Hard gods is also Applicable. Applicable. Can I say this rough and hard cut is also good editing tool. Don't spoil it. Just adding a lot of different transition because you can't add a different transition because you have so much editing power, but please don't do that. As usual, I use sucrose, dissolve or deep to black. And you can see this blue frame is the cross dissolve. It shows to us that this transition is default in this program, we have standard shortcuts for A1C video and audio transition. But I don't like how it works because this transition is too long. Weekend, adjust the duration. Just double-click on this transition and tooth for example, I want to make it just five frames. Yes. And we can see that our transition is changed or we can adjust our default duration of our transition, just moving to a preferences open timeline. And we have our video and audio transition durations. I like to use really short video transition. I said it around them frames. And right now, if we are adding a standard transition shift plus D, we can see is that they are just changed for these standard value. We need to add for transition or do for beginning and two for any of this effect, I can say that the first one is for our text layer. Just select it and press Shift plus D. We need to add the cross dissolve for this specifically, but if we press Shift plus d, It doesn't work and we need to move our mouse where ket exist. The present we can see is that red frame appears, enter just press Shift plus D. And the same thing, who is the end of our effect? And that's all we are ready to go and we can see. So it has nice, nice transition. And that's all our editing at this specific place, iso or, and we can move to a next marker. I want to just adjust scale for each individual word. So I just use a really simple technique. I just make an edit according to my wave form. So just here, here and here. And we need to edit each individual clip. We have free clips. So first one, I will just add a scale at 110. Next one will be a 125. Just drag. They'll be down. And for the last clip, I want to make it 160. Again, moving towards the center of the video. And I didn't like exert their effect doesn't feed for our audio is this effect that we are still early for us. So we just make a little additional wicking. I wanted to show effect. So where I have strong feelings, have really simple task are just using this. Again, red arrow, just click and moving to a place where our playhead is located in the same action for our original untouched clip, and we're making the same action for another ellipse. Just Russ does the reverse. Let's all, it's much better and I want to add Alito, again, a color change. You make it more red and more aggressive. So again, just looking for little color balance, color correction, drag and drop on this clip and just adjust a little red balance. And for faster editing this effects we can just copy and paste into another clips. So I just choose my color balance, just Command plus C. Open our next clip command plus, and we have a copy of these effects, but I want to increase these effects because it's the last and most powerful reward. So we have effect looking like this. Don't forget CCS, a YouTube video and people likes to watch. Both as fun and as informative video at the same time. So you can just place a lot of different, these small haha thinks it's illegal fun moment because of this video is about speaking about money, speaking a lot about money, money, a lot of money. You're just adding this little fun moments to give your viewers a little breaks from this infinite amount of information. Marnie, Marnie speaking about money or Zeus. Zeus, way of money, money, money, money. Enter here. It is a fun moment. Well, I want to watch more of these videos because it's fun and it's informative. It's a part of making good quality video. It's not about how much gear do you have. It's all about editing. If you have a really nice, simple but effective edit with little fun moments, so is a cool color correction with good audio quality. People will watch your video. Don't forget about it. Don't forget to add this different fun moments. If you are shooting curve, for example, informative video about something boring, I can say is it next marker is really the same. It's about first way for making money like and just copy my text layer and Just though, edit this text and that's all. I don't need to make. The same amount of action. I can just use this preset using the previous text layer. So it's so easy to use when you build your system. At the beginning, again, I just use type tool, click on my text layer and just write that my future Prof Suan, and that's all we are ready to go. I just want to choose a different font. I just use different style like thin. It. They're like, Why not enter? That's all. We have. The same Transition and that's all we are ready to move to. The next marker is again about your styles. If you will use a different phone to these different transition with different effects, it will look so kind of awkward because why you are moving from the style to another style when you have no reason to do this. So just make a little tweaks but don't overdose with it. Next one, vessels, vessels, different vessels, million vessels, and all other stuff. And I want to make different Bureau shots that I have from my practice. I have a folder reason my best video shots and I have different videos from my first practice from my tankers and I just looking through all oh, cool shots that they have. For example, I like maybe this one to show that they incur hunger and just making, and maybe just showing these unmuting cooperation, for example. Because, why not drag-and-drop import these files into our project and we have the main issues there too long, for example, is about 18 seconds and this is 20 seconds. We need to use only 23 seconds. So to figure out which. Duration we will use, I just uses a really simple technique. I just cut this part of the clip. We just double-click on this individual clip and we can see our duration of this clip. It's about almost four seconds. And right now we have understanding about which duration we will use on these two clips. So it's about two seconds for each one. So I just looking through the moon, beautiful part of the image and use a Mark and Mark out doors. I just press I and we can see as these gray line, it's all selected footage. So if we import this footage, it will import these specific six seconds, but I don't need six seconds. I need to only 2 second. I just press O and we have two seconds. Liberal adjustment. Yup, two seconds, and just drag and drop on our sequence and making the same thing we said the second clip. But I want to show this unmuting moment, but it's too long, so I just import all this footage. It's about ten seconds and I am using speed, feature speed, do adjust breast S. And we have been though about beat or duration of this clip. So we can use two different values. So first one is about speed in percents. It's so easy to just slow down the clipper into times or make it faster into times, for example, just 20 percent. Yep, Here it is. Our googleapis dot times faster. But if we need a specific amount of seconds, we will use a duration of this clip. So I want to make a two seconds of this clip, and that's all. And our speed is 534 percent, so just press. Okay. And our clip is five times faster, much fancier than it was with only my talking head. Finish this market and moving to our last once. It's again about making Alito text layer, I'll just copy this text layer and making little adjustments. For example, I don't know the numbers, so it's was I think about 36000. Make it R2P. I want to place it the much lower than our previous affects layers because it suggests additional explanation for the viewer. So we don't need to shouldered her so much money. Not so much money. In Russia, I want to make it much smaller. So I think 75 percent will be fine for this and placing around here. And I am placing this next layer at a time where I'm starting to speaking these numbers. And I want to improve this effects of this amount of money. Adding different additional sound effect. I have really old sound. It's money coined from Mario game. I just dragging and dropping this file are in our sequence at the blazer where our text layer ISA a bearing. So it has its own unique like this, but it's too loud, so I just make it much quieter. Again, Effect Controls volume minus 10, for example. So it looks so much nicer than it was before. I showed you different techniques that I use in Premier Pro for editing B roll stuff. So moving to our next lesson. Why not? It's so interesting to deal with this Premier Pro. So moving to our next lesson. 9. Keyframing and Presets: So because this lesson is about keyframing Kuwait, do we need this of this tool is for making a specific unique animation for a different effects. For example, for texts layers, for different masks. A lot of things that you can do using key framing as an example, I will show you how to add a keyframe on the text layer for making cool, interesting, more interesting animation for improving your YouTube videos. Main advantage of keyframing is that you can use it almost in every effect on every specific value. We have our already known texts for ways for making money and I want to make a specific movement to show this. Next, I want to move into frame, Enter, then move out of our frame and we will make a really simple animation. As always, we opened our effects controls window and we have different values and weekend See this Alito ICOM or for like a timer, you can see a toggle animation. We just click on it and we join on feature of keyframing. And we can see that we have our first keyframe with these specific settings for making the animation, we need minimum two key frames. So let's make the second one. So we moving playhead at the beginning of our text layer and click on this button or remove keyframe. And we can see that we have another keyframe. But though we don't have any change because we use the same values on the position. We can quickly move the playhead between different keyframes. So using these two arrows, I want to make an animation. So we have our text at the bottom of four out of our frame, we're moving on the center. And after this we are moving out of frame on the upper side of our frame. So ligation or for playhead is really important because if you just make an editor of this value in the middle of the clip, you will make additional keyframe with these new value. So we said our playhead as a first keyframe and moving our text at the bottom of our frame ends, it's all we have. Our simple movement, simple animation to think says that I don't like first one is, an emission, is really fast and they want to slow it down. And the second one items like animation because it's too, it's too boring, too simple. Animation don't have a character, I can say, is it a? So we will use one technique to slow down this animation. We just need to move out one of these keyframe. I will move for a second keyframe, maybe for 2.5th second. And we can see our animation changed it much slower than it was before. To solve a second problem, I select the both our keyframe right-click and we have Settings called interpolation. So we just choose or ease in or ease out. We can see that our animation changed. Do you can see how these animations Luca using graphs. So you just click and cones is arrow and you can see how animation look. For example, if you choose east out, you can see how this animation look. And if you use ease in, our animation, also changed. And you have these small circles, this is point to adjust as this graph, so you just hold it and you can adjust this animation exactly for you. And I want to make this entry. You can see that our animation again changed, but we still need to make our ending of this animation. So we just again click on the keyframe and adjust our really our end we have right now this animation. Also you can copy these keyframes. For example, I want to make it stand still without any movement for this two seconds. So I just select my second keyframe, just Command C and Command V. And we have, right now, this animation is, this is a really simple door, but you have a lot of different variation of this simple animation. But if you don't want to use keyframing, you just again click on this timer icon, press. Okay. And that's all. We don't have our animations. Hurry beads that you need to pay attention to. Where's your playhead located? If you delete your animation at the specific frame, when you delete it, you will use value from this specific frame. So you will have the situation. You can use this spirometer, but again, pay attention to a playhead, as I said before, you can make an adjustment. You can make an animation in almost every effect, in every perimeter. So for example, I may exist in two seconds. You can bleed with these animations. I don't know a whole day for tweaking out, making care really cool and nice looking animation. It, you can save your favorite animations, favorite effects in presets. For example, these animations belongs to the, our Effects called motion. Right-click on the effector, safe reset and animation. For example, in this name and click, okay, and if we open our Effects window, open presets bin and we have this animation, drag and drop on our video clip and we can seize it. We just copy this preset on this new video. Keyframing is really flexible tool, for example, you can use it for masking care, different clips, for example, making an animation, proving crags is you can come by mask and keyframing, for example, for making a really cool bureaus visa seamless transition. Moving to our next lesson about how to record audio right into Premier Pro. 10. Record Audio Straight into Premiere: This lesson is really simple but really powerful and useful because when I started my YouTube career, YouTube channel, I use different apps for a recording and editing my audio, but you can do the same work in the Premier Pro, right into Premier Pro, I used our diversity Adobe Audition oboe as explicit for just recording my audio. I don't know that I can just record straight into Premier Pro. Firstly, we need to set our Mike so we just open preferences, open out your hardware, and we choose our default input for recording our sound. And I choose MacBook Air microphone. If I connect to my mug Boko, for example, recorder or my studio Mike, I could use with this Mike. So inside Premier Pro, but right now I have only MacBook Air microphone and that's all we just click. Okay, and we are ready to record our voice-over. We have this small Mike icons in our audio tracks. And two, we just press it and we are ready to record our sound. You just record everything that you need. And after this, you just stop, zip way back and you have your audio. You can see the premier procreate and new layer with our voice over and Premium imported our recording right into our project. And if you need, you can just use this file and move it to another editing program, for example, Adobe Audition. I don't know why I record the audio in Premier Pro and then import into addition. I don't know this logic, but it's up to you. You can find your recordings into folder called Adobe Premier Pro captured audio. The next one is name of the project. And you can see these files. I think it's a good tool to record your voice-over when you have a different bureaus or for example, presentations we saw on the bunch of the images or video without your. So I think it's nice. You have no need to use additional programs. You can use Adobe Premier Pro for making this all out your stuff. So moving to the next lesson. By the way, if your footage offline, you can see that a Russian phrase, media Dan name of the nominal regime. It's much simpler than just media offline media data of the nano regime. Russian is really simple language, really simple media than me, often Oldman, that is really moving to our next lesson. 11. Color Grading: This lesson is about color grading. Carol, show you how to use lumetri color. It's as a main and basic effect for making your color correction. How to use Adjustment Layer, how to calibrate your whole clip is out, copy and past your effects, we will dive into it. But firstly, I need to say one important thing. Don't overdose with your color correction. I'll show an example. Please. Don't do like this. You don't need to put all duration in your video. You don't, Though. It a lot of vignette, a lot of different grains, different noises had to make it look like a cinema, like a movie. To achieve cinematic look, first of all, you need to use your lighting to make a cinematic look. So police don't overdose with your color correction. And let's dive into our color correction. Firstly, we need to open our color workspace and we have different windows. So first one ends the main one is Lumetri Color. Second one is a Lumetri Scopes and we need to turn on Vector Scope and waveform LGB. Just right-click and click on Vector Scope and the waveform LGBT, turn it owned. If you don't have Lumetri Scopes. Again, just moving to a window and find Lumetri Scopes and limited power is two main tools, two main windows that we need to use. If you have experienced in photo color correction, you will be in the same situation. You have a similar bottles, you have also presets with different lats, looks. You have the same temperature correction, exposure correction, color corrections, different curves. If you use really expensive cameras like area, legs, red, monster or Kennan see 500, you'll probably should in a log our first stop Input LUT, so we won't use it because so well, I should really cheap camera Canon ADD. I'm shooting in kindof a log profile and using natural custom profile, always lost durations and a low sharpness. I have this image quality right from my camera and I need to first one, tweak a little temperature, white balance. The second one is exposure, and third one is color grading. As a main color correction. To adjust our look, firstly, we need to adjust our wide temperature. Just click on this icon, just pick your widest part of your image. So I have this wide world, these papers, so I can just click on it. We can see that weekend, different white parts. We have different temperature corrections. Main rule when we are shooting people, we need to make a correction according to skin dome over the person. We need to keep natural skin tone of our person in the frame, though achieve this, we will use the vector scope. And you can see between white and red, you have this line, this line of our, you can say, is it perfect skin color, perfect skin tone? And we can see, if we will, for example, edit our tint. Our vector scope, we'll change. So I don't need to make an alien from our bursa, you, you can use a really tricky way. You just creating a mask of your scheme don't, for example, exists. You can see that my skin tone right now on this line. So we can say is that we achieved our temperature melons, delete our mask and moving to our exposure correction, open our waveform. We can close vector scope for now. And you can see brightness of different color channels, red, green, and blue. And we need to keep our brightness between 0 to 100. If it will be below 0, it will be underexposed. If above 100, it will be overexposed. We're not shooting HDR video, so we will just lose this data for this video, I'll just go up a little bit off for exposure and two, well, that's all I will add. Eater using cursor, I will need simple as curve. I'll show you how to do this. So moving to our Creative and this is the most interesting part I can say that because we have a lot of different looks installed in Premier Pro. You can then load different laughs from the Internet, from the web by it's from your favorite YouTuber and use it for color grading to your videos. You can choose it right from this list, or you can just use these arrows and you can see preview of z's. Look how it will look. Well, for example, I like cows is look, looks and I just click on it and I will applies. But most of the times these slides are very intense. So we need to adjust the intensity and I drop it around 50, 40, 70. And it has this look right now. We can just use on, off button and we can see how our image change. I want to find something more interesting. For example, a cell blue steel, because C to make her teal and orange look again at something around 30. And you can see how our image changed. And we have different effects for adding a different style in it. So first one, faded film for making a look like we're shooting on film, old school film. Next one is sharpen. I add a little bit around them because I'm shooting again major or profile with a low sharpness. So I need to bring, bring it on and we have Vibrance and Saturation, and I don't want to use it right now. And you can add color team to using these two circles. First one is foreshadows. Second one is for our highlights. For example, I want to add more cold Luke, and we can see how our image, she changed her using her as simple lot default app installed in Premier Pro. Enter. Just a little tweaking in our color. Moving to our next one is curves. I want to add a little contrast using simple symbol S curve. We have four different takers. First one is for our exposure correction, and the second, third, fourth, 1 for our specific cars. Green. Again, again red, green, and blue. But I don't touch it. I just use exposure curve, left part of the squares show some shadows and right but shows highlights. So you just added 2.1 for highlight and the second one for our shadows and EU law, our shadows a little bit, a little bit and up our highlights. And we have something like this. I think we have really intense contrast, but okay, it's just for this lesson and we can just use a contrast in our exposure correction. You can get either no infinite amount of different variations of this look because you have a lot of different numbers, different values, different curves, did a lot of different stuff for making this out. I just overdose with these values to show you how it looks before and after. You can see how I got grids, these clips and with new video I made, I think, a better color correction. This is one of the first lessons and this is one of the last. So it's a big, big differences between third lesson and almost the last new features that Premier Pro Edit around one to three years ago is this different curves? For example, I don't like how's this will look? So use this tool, click on it and we have our range of our color. And for example, I just drag it down and this wall began as near to black and white. And for example, I don't like this T-Shirts. It's too blue. So I just moving to kind of like this. And we already have a really interesting book. Boring black and white world on the whiskey window. This is our life. Use it, but be careful because I found that you can calibrate your photos in any way using a lot of different intense resets, but you can't do the same beast your video, because your video will be look just over. The next window is Color Wheels and Match. First one color wheels. You can see it's like a tint that we are adding in our creative window you can control. So first one is cars in Midtones, shadows, highlights, editor themed color team, and you can correct your exposure. Again. Shadows, highlights and midtones. Maybe you need to use it to finalize your car correction. We can use color image, click on comparisons. We use one reference grep to copy this look to another clip. It's a good tool if you are using, for example, to free cameras and you have different settings on each camera and unique door and which and make a one look for these three cameras, we have our comparison you, I can just show you a bigger picture. Last one is our reference and right one is our current leaves at we want to match. So I just speak my reference frame and click Apply match. And we can see, is it we have quite similar result. Even I have a difference in my t-shirt I have for this red color. And you can see that it's quite similar. Yes, it has quite similar result and use only color reveals for making this. Bring your broad, don't touch different windows, basic color correction, creative curves. They use only color, real, so it's mind-blowing for me. But if you have a clip with a lot of differences, it will works and not find for you. So again, it's a good tool for making one leuko for free for cameras that you are using as a one, shooting as the one scene. Next one is HSL secondary. It's like a cursor that I said before about Hulu mass iteration. Or you just use that. Again, choose your color or you can choose a specific one using these arrows. And you can just move to color correction and move. And making something like this works are not perfect. So you need to see how it affects how it chooses a specific color. You need to adjust this huge durations and luma to choose the specific red color. And I really don't use this feature because it works really strange and you can't achieve your needed to resolve. So you just simply use these curves, the best said before ends, the last one is really simple, is our vignette. I use a little vignette just to hide my room because I didn't like how it looks. But by the way, do turn on your comparison view. You can move to your color wheels. Comparison of you, you will close it or you can add a specific button. It causes the same comparison view, drag and drop. And we have the same result comparisons. You is really a good tool for checking how your edit looks. Firstly, we need to turn off our color correction. So we have our reference clip. Click on this shot or frame comparison. And right now we can turn on our color gradient and you can see our differences and you can compare these shots and you have different views. First one looks like this. Second one is, we serve this vertical line, and third one is horizontal wire. So it's so quiet, Nice. It's really handy tool to compare your shots and your color grading. And moving to our last two tools for a good and fast color grading. So for example, we have this picture, we have our ADT sequence, and we have a lot of different clips. For example, we made our color correction on the first flip and we need to copy this effect, this color correction to other clips. I am not profit editor, I just open my Effect Controls, choose my Lumetri Color command to ASI. Copy might affect my color grading and just busted on other clips. This is a really wrong way. For example, you make your edit, but well, I didn't like houses color gradient looks. Firstly, you need to calibrate your first clip, and then you need to remove a girl reading from other effects and again, copy, paste. A lot of different works is that you don't need to do right now. It's really simple because we have only one of my clip. But if we have more complicated structure with different texts, layers, different bureaus, we'll be bringing in new York. But please don't waste your time. Don't hate this world. Don't hate premier because it works really strange and I don't like how it works because I spent so much time for color frequently. We will use another two ways. First one is adjustment layer. We again click on this new item, Adjustment Layer. Click Okay, and we have our adjustment layer, and we'll just drag and drop on our sequence and make it as long as he your edited calibrated clips. And again, you just copy your effect, but you need to turn off on this clip and bust on your adjustment layer. And that's all, all of your clips. We'll be a US possess affects, adjustment layer, effects on the all layers that are below this layer, adjustment layer. And another way is to edit your master clip. You can see, in effect controls that we are using this specific clip, but we can open our master clip. You can see is that we have nothing in it. And you can just again copy your effect and busted in this master clip, you can see this red line. It shows is that our master clip edited. If we open one specific clip, we don't have our calibrating enough. But if we open master clip, we can see our Lumetri Color, Color Grading effects on all of your clips from this master file that you are using credit now in your sequence. So it's much easier to use. It's much easier to just tweak your color correction, for example, or well, I don't like this temperature. I open master clip again, just to, again, third-year temperature. Just edit and you can see that you changed in every clip. And it's so easy to use, it's so easy to cover. Great. Using master clip, you can use not only color grading, so you can use so almost every video effects on your master clip. So highly recommend this tool for you because it saves a lot of time. That's all for our calibrating. We have one big topic is for mixing our audio editing. So let's dive into it. Let's just build up share. 12. Audio Mixing: So we indeed get our ARO edited B-roll. We color gradient all our footage in. Right now we are ready to final MOOC. Follow Bush is our audio mixing, audio edit. I'll show you how I edited my voice recording, how I add my music and also edited it, how I manage these different audio tracks. Because we will use Audio Track Mixer and we need to organize these files on the specific layers. And two, yes. Yes, yes. I'm not a big fan of epic montages, epic Bureau of his music. So I have just a simple two clips just to show you how I edit and manage my muse. I have one of this good, Nice, good wipe. Music. Sounds like this. I have this nine seconds of the beginning of this track, so I just use this nanoseconds for my bureau. I am making a rough cut with ending where I have this base drop. So I just mark out, mark in, just drag and drop. Make it shorter, feed it. And we already have for beginning of this video. So it's looks like this. I don't like how it sounds at the beginning, so I just add Alito, cross dissolve constant power. And I made my music a little bit longer to see my base drop. And again cut at this place, we have situation looking like this hearing co-exist. So our music is too loud and I made a different, a little nice streak. Again, using our audio track mixer, I move my background music as another layer and as a free layer. And I opened my audio track mixer and just allow my volume around minus 15. We have much better situation, but we need to improve it. And sees he's begun to use a simple transition between two groups because they're on different layers. So I just make it a little bit longer and also a cat, this is transition for my background, music diseases. We will add our first effect again, click on this arrow and we have a lot of different effects that we can apply. And I will use a really simple graphic equalizer. I don't know exactly all phrases, but left part of these frequencies, low frequencies, so it's based, you can hear us right now a lot of different ways. Sounds, our voices Use middle and high frequencies. It sounds really strange, but we need to free these frequencies from this musical form background. For my voice, we still can listen really good and high-quality baselines, but other instrument will be much quieter. So it's a little pro tip for making your audio much better. Make quieter middle part and the right part of our frequencies. It sounds okay, but my voice is. Lethal, quiet, but still we don't have any edit on my voice. Let's make it the first one I need to add Leto noise reduction. So I use the noise for I don't know why standard perimeter is 40 percent. I just said around seven, then presents it enough for this might eat. If you have cheaper Mike or using love my ecstasy, you make much more noises and you need to apply more noise reduction. So I think this value will be enough around them. I said around them, you can press output noise only and trend to hear your noises range, but you can do this. Next effect with specific preset is really powerful for voice edit. So we're just again, open Color effect up amplitude and compression and click dynamic processing. And we choose specific preset called soft limit minus 24 decibels. This is a really cool effect with X2. Really nice and good work and curb reset. So I highly recommend to you to try it out, but you don't need to figure out which button you need to set the word specific value. A lot of different weekends, just two buttons. I can dive more into audio editing. For a drink my voice, for example, at equalizer, looking for frequency instead, making a reverb. But my goal, making fast and efficient edit. I want to make as much videos as I again, with good, decent quality, not perfect quality. Kenny was this video. Yes, you can. My personal goal for 2021 is making one video per week. How I can make one video per week, if I will spend then hours for just audio editing. I don't have so much free time for justice to Odeo editing. We should don't give me the needed result. It's like a Pareto Principle. As a small part of your actions 20 percent give you an ATP since or for your final result. I hope you can understand my logic, how AI works, how I edit my videos using a really simple dose and was the most important is effective tools. Simple is effective. So why do we need to invent the bicycle? It already invented our final move in audio editing. We need to add a little compression on all our leaps and we have master clip, so it's our final results from all our layers. So again, open amplitude and compressions and choose dynamics right now. And again, Open and choose Preset cause or soft clip or soft compression. In this video, I will use a soft, I can say is that we have finished our audio editing about, we need to edit a different sound effects because we need to use both our visuals and our hearing. So let's add additional sound effects. I think we can add to just a simple sound of waste. I don't know. Have I read Mao sound waves. I oh, look through it so I don't have sound waves. But her for sound of icecream. Why not? I found sounds called SAMR roots enter. It's the waves and we can use it. It's magic of movies. You can see that the sound is really quiet, so I need to adjust his game and we have shortcuts. I will do again. If you remember, our shortcuts to end, I adjust is gained by 20. Right now, for now, sees this, it sounds like a waterfall in the middle of nowhere. So we need to again triggered. This sound is not fitted model for editing sound effects. I have, as usual or 12 free, different free layers. First layer in our sequence is for voice recorder. Second one is for our active music. I can say the third one is for our background music ends. The last ones is for our sound effects. Again, you need to organize these layers too, because you have your audio track mixer and you have effects applied on specific track. I work individually visit. So I don't use audio track mixer for one to three specific audio sound effects for 13, for example, I want to add a little reverb for a second one. I want to make it sound like froms a space for audio editing, audio mixing, police use of three main advice from me. First one, use simple tools, simple techniques, different presets. Second one is use old your direct mixture. And third one is organize your files on your timeline, on your sequence. It's again returning us to a folder structure to the first lesson because, well, sequence structure dimer instruction is also important because this is a really simple example. One clip 1, 0, 0, 1 music. And that's all. But if you have more complicated shooting and more complicated edit, you will have a lot of problems. If you have a mess on your sequence. We can say is that we have finished our audio editing and right now we need to export our video. So moving to our last lesson. 13. Exporting Your Final Video: Final lesson about exporting our files. We have our final project, final sequence and we need to export it. We moving to our file. Click Export and choose media. But I recommend to you to learn simple shortcut Command plus M. It's really handy because if you have a lot of different sequence, a lot of different files that you need to expert. You'll use. Command plus m is really useful. I have really tough times where I need to export around 30, 40, 50 different stock footages. Really simple 20 seconds video into nitrous. Command was M for us enter a comma plus n plus Enter. And you do this for five minutes in a row. So just Command plus m, really simple, really useful. And we have our expert window. And again, I repeat from the first lesson, or you need to understand for whichever device for which social media you need to export this video, you have a lot of different codecs, a lot of different presets, a lot of different settings, different parameters that you need to adjust on this specific video, for this specific video for your specific social media, I recommend you to visit YouTube help of for figuring out specific settings for exporting video. You can see that we have preset called YouTube 1080. Full HD is good for us, but it has differences. In bitrate settings. You can see target betrayed 16 megabits per second. About YouTube says that you need only eight, is really simple and small bridge and you can just match your export settings from the settings that YouTube recommended to you. So, for example, video codecs ash to 64, open format to 64. We have 10 ADP in standard frame rate, 25 frames per second. So we need to choose eight megabits per second. So again, just choose eight megabits per second and maximum bitrate again, eight megabits per second, okay, YouTube says audio codec, AAC, sample rate 96 or 48 kilohertz. Open Premier Pro audio codec, AAC sample rate the same. And I recommend to you to save a preset for this, your custom exporting settings, you just click on this small button called Save Preset and you have name, for example, copy of YouTube 1080 for HD. Again, just click on it. We have special place for our presets and just choose it and we can use it for every expert that we will have coolest things that we need to do is choose so where our footage, our final video will be located. You can change name of your final video and choose location to Export. Export in my export folder, just click, Okay, Safe, Enter, click on Export or on cue. To use Q button, you need to install Adobe Media Encoder. I didn't use it right now because I'm using Final Cut Pro for my whole editing process. So I just click Export and our render is going on right now. And during this render, you don't need to touch your computer at all because I don't know how bringing your works, but I have a lot of different problems. For example, during coriander, I use Google Chrome or Telegram. So really simple tasks, really simple apps. And after rendering, I found that my video is broken, or I have an error in different effects, or I lost my sounds. So it's really strange logic stretch work who I can understand this because Premier Pro uses all of your available power of your PC or your computer so you don't need to touch your computer during render. This is main rule that you need to apply because if you have really complicated project, you will definitely see different problems, different errors. During render. I didn't know how it works, but it's bringing your rendering process is like a big surprise. You don't know, will you have success in render or you need to make another one to three different tries to make a good video, make a nice and stable video as you planned. Moving to our last video conclusion from all this class. 14. Conclusion and Revising: So our class is going to end. Let's make a simple conclusion with revising a different about important deeps. Firstly, divide your editing work on different steps. Firstly, you need to organize your files, then you edit a row, then 0, then audio correction calculations, and so on. Divide your work on two different steps. Next one, are organized your workflow using different shortcuts, timeline and folder structure. Important and you can save a lot of time, make and use presets for everything, for your workspace, for your sequence, for your color correction, for your ODU, aiding four-year transition, and so on. A lot of different things that you can just make a preset Enter. Again, save a lot of time. And as the TPP about saving your time, don't spend so much time on editing. Done is better than perfect. Again, don't forget Pareto Principle. 20% of your actions give you 80 percent of your results. Don't forget about it. Next one, don't overdose with your effects. Transition, Color Correction out and mixing a lot of different stuff. Please just ask you a simple question. What does this affect? Shows to your viewer? If you can't give me an answer, just don't apply this particular effect. And the last thing here, just have fun because, you know, you're making a YouTube video and you can make every thing that you want. And again, don't forget about trading, your creation, about sharing your intentions to Ailey 1 around you, even on the web. Because we have this social distance and stuff. If you have any questions or any suggestions, please leave about this class because, you know, this is a new education stuff for me, especially in English, if you want to see more videos from me, so just visit my YouTube channel. I have different videos, including videos about editing and all this filmmaking stuff. Again, thanks for watching. I hope you liked this class. Leave a review.
