About This Class

Flowers have been depicted by the most famous of painters throughout history.  They are beautiful, inspiring, and diverse.  However, that doesn't mean they have to be difficult to paint.  In this class, I'm going to share my process for Easy Painted Flowers three different ways.  I will take you step by step to gather your materials, set up your workspace, and create some beautiful florals.  This class is perfect for beginners, or experienced artists who want to try something new.  Whatever your level, you'll be painting flowers the easy way in no time at all.

Artist, Designer, Maker

I have been creating ever since I can remember. It just brings me joy to capture the beauty I see in the world, and translate it into something I've made with my own two hands.  I have always had my hands busy working on some form of art.

When I was old enough start a career, suddenly, I was "too busy" to create.  I made lots of excuses, but really I think I just didn't make it a priority.  Then, later on, I was in management and buying for the fashion industry for over 10 years.  I fell in love with the artistry and design I was surrounded by, thoroughly enjoying my working trips to Italy.  I believe that being immersed in a creative industry rekindled my thirst to get my hands dirty.  So I found myself, once again, carving out a studio space where I could, and making good use of it.

Recently, I was a featured artist at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas for one year where I was invited to create an art jewelry pop up store to display my unique style as cdesign jewelry.  It was a great adventure and I loved every minute of it.

So I have expanded my scope into art, illustration, sharing business tips I have learned along the way, and other special projects.  I call it, a place to show my art, design, business ideas, blog and, of course, Skillshare.  I hope you will check it out and connect with me.  I have lots of ideas and can't wait to share them with you.

I believe there is an artist in just about everyone. We are all inspired in different ways, but if you're aching to create, then you are probably an artist at heart and don't know it.  Many think that if they cannot produce work that is understood by others that it just doesn't qualify as art.

I think differently! I believe there are as many expressions as there are people on the planet.  Many celebrated artists from the past were never recognized for their amazing talent during their lives including Picasso, the Impressionists and many, many others. Thank goodness these amazing people kept on creating anyway and have inspired us all.  Maybe there's a great artist inside of you, just waiting to get out. Many have been pleasantly surprised when they dared to look beneath the surface and see their work from another angle.

Join me in a series of adventures as I walk you through different "art forms."  I have never limited myself to a sketch pad or a canvas when creating, as I have enjoyed photography, sculpting, designing fashion, crocheting, embroidering and many others.

It's my pleasure to take you inside my studio to share my process with you. My hope is that you will as much fun as I do!
