1. Introduction: Welcome to the advocate curse. My name is paramount and I will be the instructor for the course. Now this course is mainly focused on those who are not familiar with adequate. But at the same time, it was a way for you to see what else can you do? Advocate in the hopes that you may see something different. So with this in mind, the course actually focus on new students or users. But at the same time, he provides a lot of different options that you can use in order to understand or to see what else can you do with aggregate based on the updates that out of this has done with aggregate mean and very few are coming from previous versions of advocate. You will be able to see what is new in aggregate else from habitat that to the previous user interfaces. Because if you have your surrogate over the years, we are going to remember, use an interface completely different, but at the same time, if you learn how to use advocate in a little bit over four years, we are going to see that the user interface is almost the same. However, the new features that have been added are mainly use with the access to Internet. Now, advocate is very easy to use. However, it has a lot of options and features that you can actually use in the frame ways. Which means the, one of the things that are we're going to focus on this course is how you're able to customize. And they use our interface and their preferences in no way that fits your profession. And this means that this course is very easy. However, I will be covering a lot of options in case there you already have use aggregate. So this way, you will be able to use this options in whichever way you want. And at the same time the lessons are greater in a way that you can read down through this lessons because there will be linked together, meaning that if we find a feature in aggregate that affects more than 12, or Grumman or another feature that you already have inadequate. And then we're going to cover in different ways, but also it will be referenced throughout the course. Now with all this in mind, that course is also focus on how you're able to use aggregate based on your profession, which also implies that you will be able to create templates, that you can use a specific linear profession. But at the same time you will be able to use aggregate in a way that you can use this files even with other softwares. Wireless this exactly advocate, well, aggregate refers to a computer aided design, which means that this is a software in which the computer actually a2 with your design. Now this one's grading, Liping AD2, and it's one of the products that is owned by out of this. Nowadays the software is used thanks to the high-quality standards that it offers. So it's one of the softwares that is using a lot of fields, thanks mostly to the amount of tools and features that added this has developed over the years. So you're going to find that out of this final way to simplify many other things that they notice that their users were actually doing BY is an aggregate. So a lot of the tools just pretty much do the same things that are not on usury started doing, but without some of the steps that they have to use in order to do the same thing, especially in this version of aggrecan, which is focused into the drafting. However, thanks to the tools they're using edit thing not only for to the parent 3D. Now after Gettysburg robots also in treating modeling and it's a stronger US is on design and architecture students. And this is because it has begun the reference software first two years, they focus on the sign and also in architecture. Now I'm on the fields that actually is adequate. You have mechanical engineer, civil engineer, architecture, and Electrical Engineer, electronic engineering, typography in cartography and also in graphic design. This is all thanks to the robots tools and comments that aggregate has in construction as well as in the same. Now one of the objectives of the course is to learn them in the aggregate commands that you will need to use in your later grade and edit your aggregate drawings, plans, and layouts. So this means that we're going to focus on tools that you're going to use in order to grow your own advocate drawings, but at the same time on how you're going to present them. So with this in mind, we're going to focus on examples and exercises that you can use not only to achieve this, but also in order for you to learn how to work with different projects for architecture and also engineering. Because this fields actually uses most of the options that you have inadequate. Once you learn how to use these tools and features, you will be able to use them also in graphic design. Announced well, saints were able to do the drawings and also 3D models. You will be able to learn how to turn the drawing to a treaty modeling. And at the same time, since a lot of the users actually wants to be able to get a solidification has specifically for aggregate, you will be able to get a lot of the information that you are going to use in aggregate certification exams. And also, we are going to be able to update the curse in order to add more lessons throughout the course. So with all this in mind, I work on you once again to the course and I hope that you enjoy it. 2. First Concepts: Now when you're working adequate, there will be certain information that you're going to use orderly, rather gratia, have any farm. So in this case, I just want to show you most of that information that you're going to need while working in aggregate and starting first by the model space. And now the monospace is this a space in which we're actually grow your file? But also is this piece in which it based the presentation of your file. In another words, we're working that again, by default you will have the model space into layers. There are actually based on that model space, meaning very fewer been a layer. You will actually have a layer with that be a poor has specifically for that monospace. Now in this case, these two layouts can be opened by using this mania, many swapping when you hover, destroying better also under sub-tabs that you have on the status bar. Now, as I mentioned before, on the mono space is where you create your drawings. So this implies that everything that you draw will work in your file is going to be done under Model Space and then repeat labor sent to others is going to be done by using the layer which is at the Bernoulli's, how aggregate is the sign. Now what you draw on the monospace Escola an object. So the objects are the ones that can pose your drawing. So when you're great at drawing, you will be able to select my just simply horrendously object. And then by using the right-click on the mounts only once you will be able to select the object, which will also display what is called the grip, which are these blue boxes. Now once the object has been selected, you will be able to use the user interface in order to cut the object. So by using the gut tube, recommend by clicking on the second, you will be able to cut the object. And by using this other icon, which is the base to recommend, you will be able to base the object anyway you want and the model space. Now the same time, they're able to copy the object by using another tool or increment, which is called coupling. So by using this icon and you will be able to copy the object. And once again, you will be able to use this other icon in order to paste the element. And as well inadequate. You will also have shortcuts for some other tools recommends that you can use at any point. In the case of a cut, you will be able to guard the object facing control for success and X-ray on the keyboard. Now once they have done this, you will be able to use Control plus bs and big during the keyword in order to paste the object. And at the same time you will be able to copy the object by using Control plus C, S, and Charlie, which also implies that you will be able to base the object by using once again, control plus V, as in Victor, nasa quick Salem, they use or the Cut tool or a command will also allow you to delete objects on the model space that you might want to use later on. So this is a good way in order to delete objects that you might want to use later on. However, you can only have one selection, the memory at the same time. And as well, you will be able to find that you can use the mouse in order to do that. A couple of things while working you project. So you can press and hold the wheel on the mouse. You will be able to pan under model space. And at the same time, if you use the will and the mouse, you will be able to zoom in and out under monospace. And afternoon for you to notice is the way you grow your objects is the monospace. However, what is display of the model space is called the beeper, which is the recent white liquid, remains the same. Now as well by default, when you select an element, you will be able to open a menu, may use underway click on the mouse. And now this menu will have a few options based on the tool or a command that you use, but also based on genomic tools or commands that you can use at anytime working your drawing. Now so remember, you can use escape on a keyword in order to cancel selection. Now something else for you to know is how to undo, redo what you do inadequate. So the undo history. Secondly, you haven't the Quick Access Toolbar and the redo basically icon right next to it. Now the undo and redo will actually haven't dropped them in order for you to decide how far you want to go back or how far you want to move ahead. Now there is element for today's register recent When you will find there's some users actually have many copies of the same file now as well. In order to undo and redo, you can also use Control Y and controversy, which will allow you to do pretty much the same thing with our US and disciples. The undo and redo are actually very useful while working in your drawing. However, the use of the undo old append a 100 to recommend that you're using. Because it also recommends have actually different stages in which you can cancel the two recommend, but also in which you can then do something that you have done. Nasa quick sign-up. This will also work once the electron multiple objects. And also quick say no, if he undo what you do within a specific tool or a command, you will be undoing everything that you did with that to recommend. Which in this case, it's everything that I did with the line to recommend, which is something that you can control. However, when working with recommends that you have inadequate, you are able to use Escape on the keyboard in order to, and I picked to recommend. However, depending on the tool, I recommend escape will work a little bit different. So if for example, I use the line tool or command and then I use escape before finishing the line. You're going to see. But I do recommend his sexually cancel. However, if I draw a line by using the line tool, I recommend you are going to see the ones that I finished in line and able to use Escape on the keyboard in order to cancel the two recommend. But in this case, the lines, the work rate, it will remain under monospace. Remember, you're able to select an object by US under left click on the mouse, which will mean that in some cases, you will have those four commands that will require for you to select one or multiple objects under monospace in order for you to use a particular tool or Grumman by pressing Enter or Space on the keyboard. Now something very important for you to know is that when you're using the mono space, by default, aggregate will allow you to have information by using the dynamic inputs. So these economic inputs will provide you with the coordinates metals. We will show the values that you type on the keyboard. Now this is very important because in advocate, you will be using the coordinates quite a lot. Sort of a coordinates are pretty much based on the y and the x-axis. Working into the, which is pretty much the first part of that we're going to cover on the course. And when you work in 3D, you will be adding the z-axis. Now when it comes to type and any keyword, you will need to type in the coordinates separated by a comma. So you will need to type the first value in the keyword and then using a coma. So you can then take the second value. Now the first value is going to be x or the second value is going to be y. And as well, you will be able to see this textbox with these numbers. They're highlighting color blue. So you can use this textbox dynamically after typing a number by using the keyword. So this means that you won't be able to use the keyword in order to change these values. So in conclusion, you write the coordinates separated by a comma. Then you type the lamp without the comma Nas. While the dynamic inputs are important, because you can use the dynamic inputs in order to find that pulse or comments that you want to use as well, you will be able to find the shortcut for some of the tools recommends. So in this case you're going to see then the line to recommend users to shirk, ls, and Larry. And as well as you notice, you will have a scroll bar where you can use in order to display the comments. Now once your cell like a result, you're going to use the left-click on the mouse or Enter on the keyboard in order to select that dual program and of your choosing. And you can use Escape on the keyboard in order to cancel. Which also means that you can use the dynamic inputs in order to search for recommend as many times as we want. And as well as you notice, you will be able to cycle through the results by using the arrows on the keyboard. So you will be able to use the Amazon, the keyword as you use the scroll based on the wheel on the mouse, or by using the icon right next to the results. So as you notice, aggregate will always provide you with more than one option in order to do the same. But also, you will be able to display information about the tool or command that you want to use. My homeroom that do recommend for a few seconds. Now as well. Again, the pretty much the same thing by using what is called the command line, which also implies a you can search for it recommends medicine, the wheel on the mouse, or by using the arrows and the keyword, which also means that you can select a to recommend based on the left click on the mouse or Enter on the keyboard. So this pretty much implies they will have the same functionality. And they come and lie as to whether dynamic inputs, including the fact that you can get more information once you hover on one of the results, as long as that we saw actually has additional information that can be displayed on a topic. And also you can cancel a tool or a common base Enscape and the keyword. So with this in mind, you can always find tool circumvents in different ways, regardless of how you said are based on how you want to customize the user interface. Now something as well for you to keep in mind history. For example, if you draw a line here, going to be able to create a to Detroit, which can be transformed into a 3D drawing. So I'm just going to go to the mu q once I finished writing the following objects in order to click on one of the control, so the view cube. So when you use WQ, you will be able to notice whenever you have a cursor with three axis and each of these axis is going to have a different color represents each axis. So with this in mind, you will be able to draw between the three axis by using the dynamic inputs and also few other settings that we're going to see throughout the course. Now something important for you to notice is that every time they use the command, lines of text are going to prompt and top of the command line. Now by default, you're going to have a maximum of three lines of text, which is something that you can change. But also when you hover over an object, you will have information based on that object, which has information that we're also going to cover throughout the course. Now in order to change the drawing back to, to the b, I'm just going to click Reset stop, which is going to change the view back to top. Now since pretty much everything that you do in Arabic, a common, you're going to notice that when you use Control C, you will be able to even go back to our previous BY nasa quick sino inadequate. Most of what you do is consider a command. And a few things there are now consider a command will not actually prompt any line of text and the user interface. Now as well, in a 3D view, you're able to use the mouse in order to zoom in and out under monospace minutes while you're able to use the mouse in order to plan, how are we going to treat it? You, you will be able to use the orbit. How is intended? The orbit can be used by pressing Shift on the keyboard before pressing and holding that will have the mouse. And then as well, this will also allow you to change parental DB toward the 3D view. Now last but not least, when you work in America, we are able to select one or multiple objects, but at the same time, you will be able to delete one object data type, or multiple objects at the same time based on your selection. Now this is something that we're going to see a little bit better later in the course. However, the easiest way for you to delete an object is by essentially on the keyboard. And the other way for you to erase for the lady objects in your drawing is by just simply using a tool or recommend that you have on the user interface. So after selecting the objects, and you can use this to recommend, which is called a race, in order to erase the objects that you have on the model space. 6. Create and Open a File: Now in this video we are going to see how you can create a new file in aggregate. So you're going to start grading your projects by using advocate. Now the easiest way to do this is by clicking on New and the startup tab right after your lunch advocate. Now once that you have done this, you are going to see a new file tab misnamed drawing. Now the numerical barley right next to draw, it will be based on how many drawings have you open. So in this case, this one is going to be called Drawing 1. So when using Erica, you're going to notice that it's some cases you're going to hear opening a new file or create a new drawing. Now if you click on the plus sign right next to where it says drawing one, you will be automatically opening join two. And then the same thing. Click on the plus sign. Once again, you will be opening a new file called drawing tree. Now every drawing will be open based on a template. However, you are not going to see which takes place use in order to create the new join. Unless they, you go to the menu browser and then click waste as new. So you can then click where it says drawing. Now once you have done this, you will have the Select Template window in order to select a template. Now by default, advocate selects a template from the moment that you install advocate. So if we give you a sense that template, you're going to notice that you're going to get any file that is called drawing for. And every time that you open another drawing, you're going to see that no reflected under user interface. And that's where you're going to use the Quick Access Toolbar in order to open a new file. And this one will also open select Template window. So you can open a new file right after selecting a template. Now you can close a file by just clicking on the X right next to the name of the drawing. Whenever we felt that the you wanna gloss, which also allows you to save resources. Because every felt that demands more resources from your computer. But at the same time, once you're ready, open a file that already has been saved. You will be able to use the Start tab in order to open it if it is on the recent files. Now in this case, I will be using the sample file that is already installed right after it's telling aggregate. Now once you're ready opening, you can always use the menu browser in order to do the same. So if I close this file tab and we'll be able to use the menu browser in order to use the recent files, in order to open the same sample file. Now will be close in the same file because I'm going to show you how you can open files inadequate. In a cyclic say no, you can look for the sample files by using the menu browser. And then after hovering where he says open, just need to over sample files. And then Gregory says installed sample files. And once you click on this option automatically, you will be able to select a file which you can search by, you send the file name. However, in this case, since the fall, this within another carpet, you need to look for the carpet in which you have a sample file so you can open it. And now it's a quick sign of and this regard in this window that says, would you like to open the file, read only? Now this is because this sample file is actually loved my alphabets. So he can only be open as a read only. Now as this symbol file has been opened and going into closer again. So again, use the menu browser in order to use the option for Open and then click in waste this drawing, which will allow me pretty much the same thing. However, in this case, I will be able to open any file. There are one. So it will be searching once again for the same file in order to open it. Now so quick sino in Windows AD okay, usually saves the sample files, program files, which is a directory within the operating system, which has a folder specifically for added this. Now in this folder, we're going to have a folder that is part of the files that are installed with aggregate. Now within this folder, you are going to eventually find the sample folder. And after finding the file, I'm just going to select it and then I'm just going to click on Open. And then here a Linux Windows. And I was actually going on, yes, the file will open NS. Well, if I close this file and you are going to be able to see that you can use the Quick Access Toolbar in order to do the same thing. And before opening the file, you are going to be able to see the paper files that you have available when using aggregate. So in this case, I will stick with that drawing which has the extension the S, M dot ws and water, gs and George. But in this case I'm going to open a different sample file that isn't still advocate. And then now I'm just going to search for the same directory in which Aragon installing the sample files, in which adder get installed the sample files. And once I have done this, we're going to see this same window for read only. And then after 10 years, you're going to see another sample file that is installed with adequate. And after this, if you close all the files that are already open. So you can see what you can do by using the startup tab when opening a file. Now you will be able to see that if you click on the second myosin, the left click on the mouse, you will be able to select between open and open we only. But at the same time, if you hold this other icon in the shape for my monitor, you will be able to see that directory location of this file. Now in this case, if you click on open automatically, aggregate will let you know that you can only open this file, read only. And last but not least, since we already have seen that you can select among different templates. If you select, drop them right next to where it says new, you are going to notice that you won't be able to select the default template that aggregate what's using in order to grade your files for joints. So you will be able to use this template that has been previously used. Or you can just simply browse around your template. So if he used the default template, you will be getting a new file. Which also means that you're going to use the Start tab in order to use the drop them right next to where it says open in order to search rough file that you want to open. And also, if you don't want to use any of these options, you can always use the shortcuts that you have inadequate in order to do the same thing. So you can use Control Plus NSAID Nancy in order to open a new file by using the Select Template window. Which also means that you can open a new file by also using a shortcut, which in this case it's Control plus wars and Oscar. And by using this options, you will be able to open a new file. But also you will be able to open files that you already created. 7. Introduction to the Options in AutoCAD: This part of the course, we're just going to see an introduction to the options they have inadequate, starting first by how you can open the options. So the easiest way to do this is by actually using the menu browser in order to collect races options. And by also using the menu browser, you can also search for to be options by baby notions and this textbox, which allows you to search for other tools or comments that you have inadequate. And also depend on the person out of debt that you're using. And you will be able to open the options that you have inadequate in a few different ways. Which means that you can type in options under drawing area. And as well, you can use the command line. So by using the command line, you will also have access to the options. Now once you open the Options window, you will have the options that you can change when using advocate. Now in aggregate, you have a lot of options that you can use while working in your file. However, many of these assumptions are based on tools for recommends or even another options that you have inadequate. And now since we haven't covered them in just yet, I'm just going to show you where do they are NFL descriptions or explanations that will allow you to also get an idea. Well, we are going to see throughout this course and the basic ones that you're going to find, our father display. So within the display, you will be able to change the color theme from the light, which is just going to change how you view aggregate. Now this is something that you can change by just changing the color theme back to dark and disrupt them. And after clicking and apply, you will be able to change the color theme back to there. Now as well, you're able to display the scroll bars in the drawing window and had this will allow you to display the scroll bars where you can use in order to navigate as you navigate on an Internet browser, among a few other softwares. Now as well, if I open the Options window again, I'm going to be able to reverse the change that as well. You won't be able to find an option in order to use large patterns for the toolbars, which would change the size of the buttons that you use some good toolbars. Now in order to open the Options window, you can also use the shortcut, which is o, as in Oscar, BS, and BR. And also if we use the Options bar, you can do something very similar when it comes to the option of precise ribbon AIG guns to a standard sizes. Now this options are mainly used when it goes to the resolution where you may encounter from different displays. So this may affect or not affect how you see the toolbars, what other R31 outcomes. And by using the entranceway in there, once again, we are going to see an option that allows you to change a little bit on the user interface. They have inadequate. And this one is the one that allows you to show that tooltips that you have an advocate. However, I wanted to say, well this instead what I'm going to change is the values in order to change the tooltips, which will change the amount of time that you'd have to wait before you can see that tooltips. And as a quick sign, a sign change in the values for the main monosaccharides. Very well take in order to display the tooltips, you will have to go ahead and take into account the value for two seconds while take effect after the value that I'm changing. So in this case I will change it to ten seconds. So you can see how long it will take in order to display the total as well. This determines how much you're going to wait before you see the extended tooltip. So in this case, I'm just going to leave it by default when it comes to 1 second, 2 seconds, probably extended tooltips. So I can show you as well how you can hang high profile tabs. And as you notice, the checkbox for this playful tabs works in real time when the user interface very narrow gap below where it says display file paths. You can also open the colors, but you can assign to the different elements that you have on the user interface. So if we use, for example, the cross hair, you're going to see they're unable to change it to a color rep, main ones that I click on Apply and Close and then apply and then OK, you can see that the crosshair has changed to a color red. Now I'm going to change this once again to our color white by assembly options window. And after that, I'm also going to show you how you can change the fonts that you can use, the command line. And as you notice, once you change the font, you will not see any changes from the user interface at the tax on the command line will actually change. And this is something that you can change multiple times. That as well you can change not only the phone, but also the font style and size. Now the funds is something very simple because the funds are actually used in other softwares, upside of edibles, which means that the fonts that are used in aggregate are pretty much use the same way as you use the funds in other softwares, such as port for Photoshop. And this is something that applies to the font style and also the size. So you can actually change the font, the font style, and size as you can in any of these other softwares. So I'm just going to leave it by default and I'm going to open 1 second and the Options window now and the oceans window, we're going to see a section that might help you when it comes to the requirements that you may need when you use an aggregate. So this will improve the performance, may change the values of the resolution, but also where it says Display performance. Now this will depend on the hardware that you're using. So I'm just going to leave it like it is. But I'm also going to show you made you can change across fantasize. So I'm just going to change it to a 100. And once I click on Apply and Okay, we are going to see that the size of a crossword has changed. Once that I changed it to a 100. And we are going to see thereafter Mulligan and Apply and Okay. Now this is send them there can be Rivers by using the options window in order to change the value back to phi. And after Glidden and apply, I'm just going to click or select research really modelling. So we can see the basic options that you have when working in a tree, the space. Now soon the war mentioning his lesson, cytokines can also handle 3D modelling might deform the treaty crosswords we are going to say enable shows the axis and crosshairs. So in order to see those changes, I need to make sure that we're using an advocate in 3D. And after this, I'm going to open once again the Options window so we can start changing the options for the treaty crossovers. So I'm going to enable where he says label access in a standard processor. And once that I have done this, you are going to see where you're able to see the axis on the crosswords. And after this, I'm going to open the options when that once again, in order to disable this option, in order to enable Show Labels in dynamic UCS. So if I use new CSS, we're going to see, then now you're able to see the axis on the cross hairs after clicking new UCS. Now this is something that we're not going to see so much up to this point. So I'm going to disable this option in order to show you how you can change the labels on the axis. Now in order to do this, I need to make sure to enable label access in a standard crossovers myosin, the Options window, or otherwise, even if you select the course for labels, we are now going to be able to see a change once you click on a play in Milwaukee. So I'm just going to make sure that we can see the labels, how you send the Options window. So you can see the labels once they're actually going apply a monarchy. And as you can see, we are able to see the labels for the b axis with the standard ones. Or you can use custom labels. Remember the way you get to the Options window by using the recent inputs for repeat options. Click on the mouse. So once that I open the Options window, once again, I'm just going to reverse the changes. We can look into a few other options that we have on the Options window. Now before doing this, I'm just going to change once again how you better try a 100 drawing window. Now instead of having done this, I'm just going to open the options once again so we can look into a few options, but we haven't seen so far under display, find the training model. I'm going to click this time where it says trapped him in order to change a few options. Now in this case, I can change the arrow snap marker, which is the one that you get in color green once you draw, for example, outline. Now as well, something that I want to mention is there if there are any options that are related to a particular lesson within the course, we're just going to go ahead and cover the options related to that particular lesson. So once we cover lessons regarding, for example, listeners and just going to go ahead and show you how these options are related to the snaps. And this story isn't, right. This is pretty much an introduction to the options they have in America. Or in this case, I'm just going to change our productive size, which is something that is now going to create them much of a change. However, you're going to see that you're able to change these values. But also you will be able to see the green box that appears on the options as loud as that market. Now the use of these options is now going to be most relevant only subtilis point. However, if you want to play with this balance right away, you can go ahead and do so because it might make a little bit easier for you. How you can see what you're doing throughout the course. Nowadays is also another option and that is related to the snaps. So because of this, we are now going to see them much of a change on lease up till this point. However, once we get to this labs, we're going to see how this is relevant. Man, just going to reverse the changes. But also I'm going to show you how you can change that drafting tooltip settings. So after clicking where it says draft and tooltip settings, you are going to have yet another window which you can use in order to change the appearance of the Tooltip. Now this told to as a dynamic totally you have when drawing. So biosynthetic told to Appearance window, you can change the color of the tooltip marrow so you can change the size of the tooltip, which just a quick sign-on. It goes from values from minus three to six. And the changes, we can see the runaway and then applying them. Okay. Now if I reverse the changes by using the options window, you will also find that you can change the transparency of the poultry, which is yet another change that we can see in real time, even by just opening the options under drawing window. Now as you can notice, I'm not changing the options that are going to be using throughout the course in order to standardize the options that are going to be using throughout the course in order to avoid any possible confusion that I microwave, I use an article on a specific way when it comes to the options, but also when it comes to that template. But you can create with aggregate. But for those who are already used, aggrecan most likely are going to change the options based on how they have US article before. Now I'm just going to reverse the changes so you can see what else can you change only by your central told him, such as, for example, overwrite iOS settings for trusting tooltips are your settings only for dynamic inputs. Tooltip, which just means may you can override the iOS settings for drafting tooltips, just as it says. However, you can apply these settings only for the drafting tips when you're using the dynamic inputs, which means that you can overwrite these settings at all times, or just when you're using the dynamic inputs. Now in this case, I'm just going to live in such a series because the iOS settings are the settings on the operating system. 8. Drawing Units: And now we're going to see how you can change the units that you are going to be using my mortgage in aggregate. So in order to do this, we can use the many privacy and in the menu browser, we need to go away since drawing, not the Olympics and on drawing abilities, we are going to find the units. Now once you collect research unit, we are going to get the drawing units window. Now the drone units window can also be open by searching for the units after using once again the many browser. And once you click on the units, you will open once again to join units window. And also you can type in units. So you can not been the drawing units window by using the dynamic inputs. And at the same time, you can use the command line in order to do the same thing. And then just click and enter or space on the keyboard. And under drawing units window, we're going to see that you're able to modify the units when it comes to the length, which means that you are able to change that type, but also the precision. Now, so quick sign-on, something for you to know this history dynamic inputs will display the coordinates. So this will allow you to see the values that you are changing by US under terrain units. When the Tennenbaum, this pile is we are going to have architectural, engineering and scientific as philosophy precision up to a decimals. Now by default we're going to get decimal and a precision of four decimals. So this means that if you use the line tool or a command, you're going to get the following values once you draw a line. Now since we're actually talking about the units that you have in there, again, it's very important for you to know that by default, the units there use prototype or the milliseconds. And also something for you to know is that the units, they use, some decimal or millimeters. Now we can change the type to architecture, and you're going to see that the precision stays the same when it comes to the selection. However, the belly is obviously going to be different. So I've talked ligament, okay. If I use the line to recommend once again, you are going to see that change on the units. So after opening once again, the drawing units window, you are going to be able to see the difference between architectural compared to engineering as well as fractional, Nancy. And notice every time that you change the type, you're going to see a change and the value of the precision, but also where it says sample output. And this will be reflected and say change the type to scientific. I'm just going to be some decimal. And then I'm just going to show you the same units that based on the angles. So by before you're going to get the sum of degrees, which can be changed to degrees, minutes and seconds. So this means that if we use this and then I change the precision to sera, sera, sera, sera sera seconds, 0.1 decimal, or in another words, 1400, we are going to see a change and the sample output, but also once directly gonna k. And then I use the line tool or a command, you're going to see the changes reflected when drawing a line. Now, just going to make a few changes when it goes to the precision, but also how will we change him back to decimal degrees? And as you notice, once again, the selected precision remains the same even when the value of the precision has changed. And once again, you're going to see how the sample output updates in real time without actually having to use any other drawing tools, such as the Line tool for increment. Now if I use once again the line tool program and we are going to see the unit where being used for destroying. And when you're drawing, you're able to insert elements that are greater in other firms. So there is a section on the drain units that you can use in order to change the units that I use within certain content. Now you can go ahead and change this anywhere you want. However, those one prototype you ever wonder, you can use very small unitless. Now if you open this one, you are going to get the following window with the following message, letting you know that the lining is going to change. So if you click on Continue, we are going to see the below where it says lining, you have international grayed out, which means that you will not be able to change this. Now by clicking on Okay, you will be able to open the Options window. So you can click where it says user interfaces. So you can see that the four units now you use, once you use for your nevertheless. So this means that you're able to use your nevertheless based on that option, on the Options window. Or you can just simply change the scale of the intercellular content myosin, they're growing units window. And I'm just going to change the value back to the default value. And you're going to notice the medulla which is lining. You will be able to change the lining from international to American. Now this is something that we're not going to see right now. So we are going to see this a little bit later. However, this is yet another option and that will depend on your country or region. The reason why we are not going to see this right now is because the lining units are used for rendering when grading the project Protocol treaty model, which is something that you can change as many times as you want. So depending on your country or region, you might want to use one or the other. So after use the line tool or Grumman, you may notice that the values of the angles are based on four axis, and these values will change based on the direction of the line. Now this direction is something that we can change. So after clicking where it says direction, we are going to get the direction control window. Now this direction control window can actually be tricky to understand. So we'll be using once again, my line to recommend in order to show you the default values. Nowadays you're going to see when the angle is going to be 0, nor is going to be lighting and so on. So if I open once again the units window, in order to change the direction, you're going to see the ones that you choose, for example, cell, and then you just click on Okay, in order to click Okay, once again, under join units window, you're going to notice that if I use the line tool or Grumman needs is going to be 90, but also 0. If I use 10 nor the value will be 180, but also 90. And if we continue the following way, we are going to get further West to a hundred and seventy and zero for the cell. And this will be because one value comes from our reference. But the violin or is polar is the actual direction. And this is something that we can see by changing the direction from south to north. And after glossing once again, to draw in units window, we're going to be able to see the Biosand, the line tool, recommend the angle there you can find voices polar is going to change to 0. Well, and this is going to be 270, and this is going to be based on a direction. And this direction is counterclockwise, which is where you can change my US under drawing units window after clicking away so it's clockwise. So after using this option, you're going to notice the bios on the line to recommend the angle for the NORC races polar, you will be 0. However, the other angles are going to change clockwise, which means that on these, instead of 270, you're going to get 90. Now this is something we are going to reverse back to default. So we can use aggregate based on the default values. However, as you notice, you can start changing these preferences right away. 9. Drawing Limits: And since now we're talking about the joints, however so-called what is called the joint limits and the certain elements that are used in order to a terminal area in which you can create a drawing. So in order to create the drawing limits, you can use the project browser in order to search by using the word limits, which will provide you with a couple of options. However, the proper domain history and limits. So if you type limits on the search, you can see on the dynamic inputs or you can also use the joint limits to recommend, which also implies that you can access the drawing limits to recommend by using the command line. Now in order to create the joint limits under drawing window. And you will need to select the area that you want to use in order to create a shrine limits. Now we'll use in the joint limits to recommend. We are also going to notice medically use the down arrow. You will be able to select 000 has the default start of the joint area. But as well, you can type in the value by simply typing on the keyboard 0 comma 0. Now this area is going to be created by us and the shape of a rectangle. And since the rectangle is greater by two opposing segments with the same length plus another two opposing segments. In order to correct for segments that are chained together, just need to select the start of the rectangle and the area of the rectangle. So in this case I will use the dynamic inputs so I can see the coordinates that I want to select. So we'll type in the following coordinates in order to define veteran limits. Hey man, just going to use the line tool or Grumman in order to show you in the drawing window Petra image by grading the following rectangle based on the values when I use in order to query the joint limits. And that's where you're going to see police and the limits tool or gunmen. They are growing together coordinates right next to the cursor while using any of these tools. Now this is a value that is going to change automatically based on the position of the mouse. Now by default, you'll notice I'm able to draw outside of the joint limits. However, if I use the joint limits to recommend, I will be able to use the down arrow, probably able to click where it says on the command line in order to turn on my drawing image. And once this happens, we are going to see that you're not able to draw outside of this rectangle only on the inside. I'm able to turn off the drawing filaments, myosin, the adjoining elements too. So I can draw anywhere i 1. Now once again, I'm going to use the line tool recommend in order to create another rectangle that can be used in order to determine new boundaries for the joint limits. Hello, In this case, I will select the joint limits by using a cell reference to rectangle there already created. So I'm just going to select the following pen points for ALU Center Joint Limits to recommend. And then once again, you're going to notice that you're able to draw anywhere you want. Antonius, once again, the joint limits to recommend in order to turn on the joint limits, which is something that you can receive anywhere you want. And you can also change the brain limits once again. But on this case, I'm just going to turn on the drawing limits. So you can see that now you're not able to draw outside or to try and limits. Nasa quick signer, if you use the joining limits to or command, you're going to notice that the joint limits needs to be selected from left to right. So if you tried to select the drawing limits right-to-left, given when you already have a reference, that drawing limits will not change. So you will need to make sure that they are select under joint limits from left to right when it comes to the start and the end of the area that defines the joint limits. Now this R1 limits will be useful for you when you have an a specific area or when you have an idea of the paper size you are going to use, among a few other reasons why you might actually need to use the joint limits. 10. Save an AutoCAD Drawing: And now in this part of the course, I'm going to show you how you can save your file. Now there is a few ways in which you can do this. So you can choose one. Do you like the most? Now the first one is by using the menu browser, which allows you to select the option to say, now once you click Reset, Save for the first time, you will get away. No Briscoe, same drawing as, and as well, you can save your file by using a field options, such as, for example, the sugar, which is Control plus SSL. Now the same time by using the menu browser, you can even search for the same comment any here you're going to see an analytical man, but also the location. So you're able to say they're trying, they also clicking where it says saved, but also as you notice, you can click the sacrum and under Quick Access Toolbar. Now as well, you can just simply type safe and the keyword so you can save your project after you click Enter or Space on the keyboard. And of course, you can use the command line in order to save your project. Now once you start the process of saving the file for the first time, you're going to see that you're able to select the directory in which you want to save the file, but also you're able to select the name of the file as well. You're able to select the type of file that you want to see. And at the same time, the Persian aggregate that you want to use when saving you fall. And as a quick sign and this will allow you to open the file from the Persian or advocate that you are using until the newest one. So in this case, I'm just going to leave it by default. And as you notice, there is an option that allows you to update the sheep and the beautiful. Now this is unnecessary because that donor actually updates every time that you save the file. And also because this option is disabled by default, every time that you open, let's say you join us window. Now in order to save the file, I'm just going to click on Save. And once there click on Save, we are going to notice a few things. One of them is 10. Now the name that was selected is going to appear on the File tab, but also on top of the user interface. And at the same time from now on, every time that you make a change. And this file you're going to see for an asterix will appear gray next to the name of the file and the file tab. But as well, every time you save the file where there is by using the Quick Access Toolbar or any other metal such as the shortcut, we are going to see that the ester is disappears. And at the same time and the command line, you will also have the name of the command, which is quick safe, who has this shows with us and quarter save. While since you've already saved the file and you can close the file tab for this file. And on the startup tab, now you're going to see on the recent files, that file that you, you're safe as well. You will be able to see what are the file is being saved. And also, you will be able to open this file from the startup. Once they open the file, you're going to notice as well, they are able to pin the file to the startup, which will allow you to access this file regardless of how many other files do you open? Because it's now pinned to the Start tab. Now once you are ready, save a file. You can change the name or you can even overwrite the existing file by using the command save as. So if I go to the menu browser once again, and then I call where it says Save As. And we'll be able to select how I want to save the file. So by selecting waste destroying, we are going to open the safe join as window, which is the same thing that you can do by using the menu browser in order to search for the Save As command. As well, you can use once again the Quick Access Toolbar, which also means that you can type in a keyword save in order to see, let's say as command. And of course you can use the command line in order to search for the safe as command. Now you simply say as command is a little bit different because if you click Reset Save, you will be able to see we are able to overwrite the existing file. And as well you have the option to update shape and VO2 Mills, which is something that you can use before saving your file. And as you remember, this one is always disabled by default when opening this window. Now I'm just going to keep overriding the same file instead of creating a new one. And also since we are creating a new files, remember the veteran be options. You are able to determine even be options in order to open and save files by using the shorter Productions, which is what we are going to be able to see. Once you click where it says files, you will have the option in order to modify how you open and save them. So you will be able to modify the LSAT. Since you have temporary files, you will be able to see where those files are being storage in case that you have an issue with 10 your files, you might be able to find the LSA file and that was great about aggregate. Well, you're able to determine how many recent files can you have when using the browser, but also when you send this data? And if you click on Apply, you're going to notice that this will apply thyristor aggrecan. So as you can see, saving files and advocate is pretty much the same as saving files in other softwares. 11. Create a Template: Now once you get used to advocate, you may actually need to create your own template. So you can actually work based on templates that are just for your work style. So in order to create a template, you need to go to the menu browser. And once under many browser, you just need to hold worries. So Save As and then just nipple calligraphy says drawing template. Now once you have done this, you will have the same drawing as window in order to say that template. Now this means you will be able to overwrite an existing template. Also in order to avoid overriding or destroying an existing template, you can just select a name different from the other templates in order to make sure that you're not going to overwrite an existing template as well. You will be able to see why you send the file drop-down and the actual type that is used in order to create a template which is adult cat drawing, template extension. And the SMD be no less than water, Pentheus and tomato. And then I just have to click on Save in order to get the next window. Now this next window is called template options. Now that template options, you will be able to type in a description in order to know, for example, what is the use of this template? Where did the description can be anything you want. So you can just, for example, US number one, in order to explain that this is your first copy your backup file that you will be updating over time. So this is one of those things that you can edges anywhere you want depending on the way that you're late to work. And this also applies to other options that you have on this window. As well. You can change the measurement in order to determine if your template will be used in English, which is imperial or metric units as well. It allows you to determine and then new layer amplification, which means that you're able to see the layers as unraveling cell or you're able to see their layers as record cell. Now since we haven't seen the layers versus now sand in there, we're going to touch. So once you click on Okay, we are going to see there under filed that the name of this file has changed base and then name of the template, which is the name that also shows railings to the Quick Access Toolbar. Now since we use the ask a man to see that gambling, we can also use the same as on the quick access toolbar in order to say that then blend once again, which means that you're able to nimbly, but also you're able to overwrite an existing template that bend the other changes that you have done to that template. And once you click on Save and then oh yes, you will have once again, that doesn't bleed options window in which you will be able to change the assumptions in order to update the template. So for example, you could actually change the description of the template as well as the measurements. So I'm just going to click on Okay, in order to close that template options window. Now this doesn't mean that the project that you use in order to grade that they're ugly doesn't longer exists. So by using once again, the menu browser, you're going to be able to open the same file that he wants to use in order to grade that template. Which also implies that you can close the template file. So you can actually create another joined Mason, that template that I just saved. So after use and the menu browser, in order to corner where it says new, I just have to click Reset drawing in order to have the Select Template window. So I can select the template but when I use in order to create a new drawing. So with this in mind, you will be able to great templates. It may sound the way that you want to work on your files, but also they has been given to you in order to continue over an existing file or in order to create a new file based on a specific cations that are given to you. Maybe buy a company or bad colic. 12. Navigation Options Part 1: And now we're going to talk a little bit more about the navigation in aggregate. Now the basics for the navigation when we already touched on the user interface, however, I'm going to show you how the navigation can be inadequate. This starting first with a basic navigation and other basic navigation is the one that you can do with a mouse. So for example, you are able to pan my precedent holding now wheel on the mouse. Now as a quick side note, the pen tool hold Command is something that you can use by using the command line. Because as you remember from a user interface, the command line and allows you to find the comments may have inadequate, which is very similar to what you can do based on the search box and the many browser and the shorter FERPA, SBS and Peter. So if you St. Peter and the keyword, you will be able to see on a dynamic inputs Le Pen tool or Kamen. But also you will be able to just type entering the keyword workspace on the keyboard in order to use the pen tool or implement. Now as well, you will notice that on the navigation bar you have any icon of the pen to recommend. So if you go to the navigation bar, you will be able to find the pan to recommend as well. You're going to notice when you send the pen tool recommend is that this one is a little bit different than the one they use with the mouse, because the one they use with the mouse is not actually depend to recommend. So in this case, it will be actually using the pen tool recommend in order to plan on the model space. Now the same time with envy options, you will be able to display the scroll bars on the drawing window, which will allow you to pan with our US and the mouse or the pen to recommend. Now as well, we're navigating throughout your fall. Or in another words, when you're navigating through the moral space, not able to use other options, such as the song. Now the basic sum can be done major simply using the wheel and the mouse. So this means that by rotating the wheel on the mouse, you will be able to zoom in and out on the model space. Now you're going to use the zoom tool or recommend by just typing soon on the command line. Which also implies that you will be able to use the dynamic inputs in order to search for the sun to recommend. However, you can always use the shorter CSS over followed by Enter or Spacebar on the keyboard in order to use the zoom tool, recommend. However, and the navigation panel, you will be able to use other options too soon. And by default it's the zoom extents and assume extends pretty much allows you to assume everything they have crater and the model space. But at the same time, you're able to use the options to zoom in and also to zoom out in order to do the same thing that you can do with a mouse. But also there is another soon, and that will allow you to return the camera or the viewport to its previous position, which is something very similar to the rewind. And this term will. Now something worthwhile for you to notice is that the last room option that you select is going to be the one that is set by default. Now as well, you will even have other options that you can use for the Zoom. But at the same time, you will be able to make the best Zoom with other options that we have seen before. Such as, for example, the growing limits. So for example, if I use the drawing limits to recommend in order to set element within the marrow space. And then if I go ahead and upgrade the boundary for the drawing limits by using the line tool or a command in order to create a visual representation of the train limits, you will be able to see the ones that I have, the drawing limits. You will be able to use something has to some extent in order for you to be able to use the joint limits as limits. So you can have one more again, the model space. So this is something that you can use in case you are creating sheets. Or in another words, in case that you have a paper size that you want to use one organic model space in as a quick xylem. Remember that you can use Control C or undo in order to undo here in the McMurdo camera, or are there some that you use on the model space? Now there are other options that you can mix. What they're drawing limits that are also going to show you throughout the course. And I'm just going to undo the changes in order to show you what is called the Zoom window. Now the Zoom window, as the name implies, will allow you to create a window based on the left click on the mouse to select the star of the women and the end of the window. So in another words, you will need to click twice and then left-click on the mouse and the model space. And once you created a window, you're going to notice that automatically advocate, we zoom in based on the boundaries of the window as well. You will have a few options. Try a little bit more eccentric, such as for example, in the option to zoom in real time. Now the same time, remember that you can use Control-C event in under lemma murder camera, or in another words, in order to end the test from various user on the people. And at the same time, you can use them out in order to some extend. The way they do this is by using the hotplate and the women on the mouse. So you can use to some extent, a little bit easier because you will be using the mouse. Let's start with the command. Now movie options that you have her son. You will also find a few other options that are a little bit different, such as, for example, the option Misko soon, real time, or in another words, so mean real pen. Now this one will allow you assume there is very similar to actually use their will on the mouse. However, you're going to see they are only able to zoom in and piping in a cell reference the position of the camera. So you will not be able to zoom in and out from the position of your choosing, which has different to what you can do with demands, Wikis and in the UK mix with all the tools for comments, such as the pan. So you will be able to use other options for the navigation while using the Zoom as well as well using FeO, the options that you have in order to assume a 100 rural space. And I'm just going to use once again, this will make sense by just simply using the way on the mouse. And then I'm going to use this option once again in order to show you that it doesn't matter where you position the cursor, Let's zoom is going to be the same. Or in another words, there were sold is going to be the same. So the fact they are not able to freely soon on a specific area on the model space, make this option had a little bit more eccentric. Now if you take a closer look to the zoom tool or a command, you're going to notice that if you use the down arrow on the keyboard when you're not pressing and holding the left click on the mouse or when an economic inputs appears the following way, you will be able to find a lot of options that are beyond the drug them for the Zoom to recommend and Sunday to point out that we're going to see throughout the course Eastern on the options on the command line, you will find blue letters that are actually shortcuts. When you see the command line with additional options, we're going to see how this works with a lot of tools or commands throughout the course, as well as feel that things that you can do by mixing the dynamic inputs and the command line software using Control C, I'm just going to open the drop them in order to click racism or nows you'll notice all very much does the same thing as some extents. However, this one would like just even better to the limits to recommend when the zoom extents. And it's because the zoom extents, the same thing. However, if they're drawing limits cover bigger area than the elements that you have within your file, then the zoom extense will focus on the elements, while Zoom 0 will focus on the drawing limits because they cover more area than the objects that you have in the model space. Now we can just go ahead and use the joint limits once again, in order to show you what it will happen if you turn off the joint limits. So in this case, as you can see, after, after joint limits, and then I change the zoom bison, the wheel on the mouse. And then I go to the menu bar in order to use some WHO all the objects are going to be shown on the mono-spaced. Now this OH, is used in order to show everything on the model space, not only the objects, but certain things in aggregate that are referred to as spatial aids, which is something that I don't have another mono-spaced. So now I'm just going to turn on the drawing limits in order for you to see the result. And in this case we are going to notice, let assume o will actually extend the zoom to all the objects under monospace, which means that the joint limits actually cover and a smaller area than the objects and the model space. So this will imply the Zoom call is actually being used as zoom extents. So some extents and 0 works pretty much the same way when you don't have visual aids and when you're not using the drawing limits in elected drawn the modal space or more specifically, when the drawing limits are within the boundaries of the area that the objects are covering on the mono-spaced. Now this is something that you can change by expertly changing the values of the drawing limits. So I can actually show you what happens when you have objects that covered less area than the joint limits? So when this happens, you're going to see that assume oh, actually covers all the objects that are within the boundaries of their joint limits. But more importantly, that the sum is sexually based under drawing limits. Now the other options that does something very similar, but they tend to be a little bit more confusing at first. So just for example. So in dynamic, now zoom dynamic to sell allows you to dynamically greater weight in order to assume and the model space. However, as you might have noticed, when using a few options, when using this option, you will also have the option to enter a scale factor and in parentheses and eggs or an XB. Now the only thing that you need to do is type one of these two options that you see in parentheses. However, we are going to replace N by a number. So you can either use the wind dynamically or you can enter a value. So in this case, I'm going to type in a value by law, by eggs, and you will see the result right away. And also as a quick sign on this form and the European use in order to input the values is also using other options in order to zoom on a monospace. So you can actually use this option to Zoom whichever way you want one word in your drawing. Now this is something very similar to you soon scale. So we use some skill. You will be able to grow a human scale based on the value of this line. Now you see on the textbooks on the right where it says specify second. Now this value can be typing manually. Myosin the same process, which is either medicinal value and then eggs or use an a value, and then x followed by ps and bitter, either one of these two valleys, which is another I can show you right away. So I'm just going to type in the following value followed by x in order for you to see the result search, you might have noticed there are a lot of options in order to do very much the same thing. However, aggregate will always have for you a lot of options. So you can choose which one do you like the most? So I'm on the last options. We're going to have one dairy scores from center, which pretty much follow the same process assuming scale when it comes to creating a value for the Zoom, which you can go ahead and create in the form of a line by very much grading aligned or biotite and Napoleon. Now this value is going to represent their new high, what you can see within the pupil, or in another words, the height of the viewport. And why they you can look at it is that you can actually create a reference that is used to determine the values of the beeper. So the first thing that you need to select is the center. And once you select a center, you actually can see on the command line and the value further Haida was previously selected, which means two things. One of them is that you can keep using the same value, susan, enter, but at the same time, but you will be able to sell like a different value by drawing this line that I'm drawing on a billboard, but also by dive into value using the keyword. Now this is very similar to what you again do, whether to stay haven't the draw panel. So once then we get to the tools recommends that you use in order to draw on the model space, you will be able to say to you center line to recommend. And last but not least, among the zoom options, you will have a very simple option, metrics col sm, object now, so object will allow you to zoom in on a specific object. So these, this way there are going to explain this is the ones that you sell like some object, just need to select an object, like for example, a line. And then after using Enter or Spacebar and the keyword, you will be able to zoom based on the extent of the object which is under embrace similar to zoom extents, but on, on a specific object. So this one is a very simple option that you can use in order to some two and a specific object. But at the same time, something for you to know is that you're able to use this option while selecting multiple objects. So you will be able to select one object, or you will be able to select multiple objects on the model space before you send Enter on the keyboard. So this is the basic navigation where you can achieve by using the mouse along with the options for Zoom, which will be useful when mix with other options that we're also going to cover. Remember that you can use Control C or undo in order to undo here in the McMurdo camera photos assume that you use on the model space. 13. Navigation Options Part 2: Now continuing with the navigation, I'm going to cover a little bit more. How about the navigation wheel? Now the navigation wheel can be found on the navigation panel. And this navigation wheel is going to change based on how you're seeing the model space. So because in this case, and using a 2D view, the steering wheel is going to be the tool, the will. And the reason for this is because the navigation has a lot to do with how you build the model space. And the two, they will be able to use the options to zoom in and out, as well as the option to Japan and the standard option for we went and unable to close this term will, by just clicking on dx, which will allow me to show you a little bit more. Hopefully you can do with the peoples and aztreonam. Remember, you can change the Buber by modifying the view from top to the other views that you have on this menu. But also you can use this in order to modify the visual styles. Now, this case I'm going to change the view to left you might have seen, and a small change on w. And this is because the view changes depending on the view that you want to use from the viewport. So w q is independent from W. There you set the viewport in the sense that the builder you choose on the viewport is going to be considered that fell under view cube. So if you've studied this center controls, he noted to change W Madison WQ, you will be able to see how the controls of the buccal. Now based on the left to the right step for this report, which is something that you can easily change by going once again to the pupil controls in order to change the view back to top. So this is an embryo school in case they are joined in a particular way. And as well as you remember, you are able to use pan by pressing and holding. And then we've got the mouse. However, you are able to Orban my precedent hold and the will of the mouse, if you're holding down Shift on the keyboard at the same time. Now as you can see, the reputation will be based on a pivot, which in this case it's plates based. Understand there will be a file. Now this is pretty much the same thing that you can do based on the compass and WQ. Well as the fact that you can use herbal medicine, the navigation bar. So you will be able to use the navigation bar in the nucleus, the orbit to recommend as well since you are able to spend. And so by either using the command line or by just simply using the menu browser, or more specifically, the search in either the command line or the multi-processor, you will be able to do the same thing with the orbit. Which means that you can do pretty much the same thing by your center dynamic inputs. Or in another words, by typing on the keyboard. But also at the same time, you will be able to use auctions for variance for the orbit to recommend, such as, for example, the free orbit, which looks the following way, and it's pretty much the same one. However, you're able to orbit pretty much in any direction as well. We are able to choose where it says continuous for B in order to orbit continuously. Now this last one can be a little bit confusing, so I tend not to use it that much. 14. Standard Selection: So now I'm going to show you what are the basic selections are the basic way in which you can select objects in aggregate. So the first thing that I'm going to do is actually draw a few lines in order to see what happens when you select this lines. So instead of lines are graded, we are going to notice that if you hover any of these lines, you will be able to use the left click on the mouse in order to make a selection. Now once the light has been selected, you are going to see the light highlighting. And you're also going to see loot boxes, which represents not only the fact that the line is selected, but also controls that we're going to see later on. Now something else while for you to keep in mind is that every time that you select an object, you're going to notice that the elements that were selected are still selected. So this means that you will need to select the element any Nordic do this, select the element, you just need to press Shift under keyword before you use that left click on the mouse, which is suddenly you can reverse by using 1 second, then left click on the mouse. Or in another words, you can select an element by using their left click on the mouse. And you can just select the element by essentially on the keyword before making a selection. And as well, you're able to select multiple elements at the same time by pressing the left click on the mouse, which is something that will allow you to gray the following window with the following color in order to represent the area we are selecting. Now with this in mind, you just need to use that click on the mouse once again in order to complete your selection. And this is first to as a selection set. Now once you have done this, you're going to see that the objects that are selected are highlighted once again, and at the same time, one showing the controls also in color blue as well. In order to deselect elements, we are able to use Escape on the keyboard. And as well, if you notice the behavior, the selection is based on selecting the objects that are touched by this rectangle. However, you have another selection that is pretty much the same way. However, in this case, you will be selecting everything that is within the rectangle there is greater by the selection. So the selection is going to be different not only in the way their issues, but also on the appearance. Since the rectangle looks different when it comes to the border of the rectangle, but also on the field color. Now the other ways in order for you to make a selection. So just for example, might pressing and dragging, then left-click on the mouse, which means that after you press the left click on the mouse, you will hold the left-click on the mouse in order to have the following selection. Now this one is called the lesson and Wars pretty much the same way as the other selection, which in terms of the appearance is pretty much the same. However, the shape is going to be based on the mouse. So in another words, if the column, the selection is green, which is the default color, then you are going to be able to select everything that is touched by the color green. So this option is very versatile in order to select elements that are very close together, where in order to select objects that are surrounding other objects. Now I'm just going to use Escape on the keyboard in order to show you this once again, but at the same time, I'm going to show you that you can do pretty much the same thing, but on the other side. So this means that if we use the Lasso once again by pressing and holding, then left-click on the mouse. And in order to select the elements or in another words, in order to do a selection with the lesson, you will be able to repeat the same thing. However, you will be able to select only what is within that color blue. So the selection in color green is different than the selection in color blue. Now sunday important for you to know is that the selections are actually based on the direction of the mouse. So these, his way to explain this is that if you do the selections from left to right, that color will be green. If you do the selection from right to left, and that color will be blue. So this one is also very useful when you are selecting elements that are very close together, but at the same time in order to avoid selecting elements that are very close together. So between both of these selections, we will be able to select different objects on the monospace. So this means that depending on the situation, you may want to use one or the other, or you may just want to use a different method that we have covered so far. Are they we're going to cover later on. So if we try the same thing once again by pressing the left click on the mouse and without letting go of the mouse, dragging the mouse cursor through the model space, you will be able to once again, greater lesson. However, in this case, I'm just going to press the Spacebar on the keyboard. So if you press once this baseband, the keyword, we are going to get defense lesser. And if you press it once again, we are going to get the crossing Last one. And by using it once again, we are going to see the nonetheless we score that window less. And in order to see this, you just need to watch the command line of the user interface. Now this is something that you can do in order to cycle through the selections. So with this in mind and just going to escape on the keyboard in order to show you how the fence lesson actually works. So I'm going to start once again as selection bias and the lessor. And then I'm going to use a space and the keyword. So you can see in the fence lesson, defense lesson will allow you to select everything that is touched by the route that is created by the lessor. So with the semi able to use the lessons in order to select objects in different ways. Now when it comes to the selection, you also have a tool or a command for selection. So this means that if you place them under keyword or in the command line, you will be able to use the select to recommend, which pretty much works the same way as you weren't doing a selection directly with the mouse. However, in this case, you will not be able to unselect elements by essentially on the keyword. And as you might notice, if you look right over to the command line, you are going to even see when you are selecting the element once again, because you are going to see select objects. File and in parentheses when duplicates, however, the total will remain the same. And also something for you to know is that the selection is within the window selection method, sort of the selections. Then I'm going to show you in which you can see the selection color green in color blue are part of what is called the window selection method. So as you notice, you're able to go back and forth between the different methods that you can use in order to select objects on the mono space. Now you're able to use this tool in order to do the same selections. So this means that you're able to go from left to right and from right to left. And also you're able to do the lesson by pressing and holding the whim of the mouse from left to right and from right to left. Now once again, as you can notice and the command line, you're always going to be able to see that type of selection that you're using, either by using the textbooks they haven't the command line, or by looking at the texts they have on top of the command line. And remember that you can use Escape on the keyboard in order to cancel the selection, which also implies they are able to use a spaceman, the keyword in order to cycle through the last nasa noaa quick signer. This is something that we're going to see later on. That is methods that are used in order to select objects in the model space by using the mouse. So just for example, the window selection, or in another words, when you create a rectangle Hays Code, click and click when the other method is cold press and drag. Now it's another quick signer, remarkable. You can use the right-click on the mounds in order to sell. Their resamples recommends that you have used, so you can use the right-click on the mouse in order to use 1 second, they select to recommend. Now in order to confirm your selection, you will need to make sure that the elements are highlighted the following way. And then you just need to play enter or space on the keyboard. Now I'm just going to use Escape on the keyboard in order to show you a different type of selection that you can use an advocate. Now this type of selection is called Selection Cycling. So for example, Nucor be objects, they have an amount of space. You are going to see that if one object is on top of the other, we're only going to be able to see the information of the object that is on top. In other words, the object that it was strong second, because aggrecan considers that the second object should be on top, not when it comes to high, but when it comes to hierarchy. So in order to avoid selecting the object that you haven't taught, you can use Shape class spacebar on the keyword in order to allow you to get the information of the other object. But at the same time, once the algae is highlighting the following way and you will be able to select it. Now this is the standard Selection Cycling, but also you have a different selection cycling or you can use, which is a little bit different because this one will allow you to select among the different harmonics and the model space. So in order to separate one object from the other while doing the selection, you can go to the status bar in order to instruct drop them right next to the polar tracking in order to click where it says Tracking Settings. And this will allow you to open petrifying settings window. Now you can actually open the drafting settings window in different ways. However, to this point, this is the only way that I have shown you how to open that drafting settings window. So once under drafting settings window, just need to click where it says selection cycling in order to allow the selection cycling. And once they, you do this, we're going to see that you can keep using the same Selection Cycling metazoans that you select an object. You will have this window in order to select between these two objects that are one on top of the other. So you will be able to use the selection window in order to select between one object and the other. But at the same time, you can use the option that is called None. So this is a way in order to filter selections in real time, as long as the subjects are on top of each other. And also selection cycling is something that you can enable or disable by using the following command. So this command will allow you to enable or disable the Selection Cycling bias and the value of minus two in order to be stable. And you send the value of two in order to enable the selection cycling. Someone say they say, well this election cycle, you're going to see that you can keep using the standard Selection Cycling, but you won't see the selection window once again. So this is very useful when you're working on a file in which you need to stack objects one on top of another. 15. Starting with the Drawing Tools: Now the purpose of this lesson's is in order to show you how you're going to use the tools recommends that you have on the draw panel. Now the drawing tools can be found under Draw panel and aunties draw panel is going to be on the home tab. And among the shrine tools you're going to find the line and the polyline, Let's circle and so on. Well, with many of these tools or comments, we are going to find variations of this S2 recommend. As far as you have more drawing tools, then the bandwidth and show you so well, listen this lessons. You can use the pin in order to pin, in order to have all these tools and commands visible. Or you can just follow along. Now I'm just going to use the line tool I recommend in order to show you the basic functionality, but it's going to be shared among all vitriol indels. So after clique in the line tool recommend, we are going to see that you're able to draw my ascender left click on the mouse, regardless of whether you're drawing or how you're drawing. Which means that regardless of the way that you use in the two recommend, you will be able to draw a shape of your choosing as well. Most of these tools, some commands also have a shortcut and in the case of deadline is salary. So you will be able to use a shortcut or alias for many of these tools for commands. Now something important for you to notice is that when you use the drawing tool, you will be able to see that coordinates the year using right next to the cursor as well, you will be able to type in a value based on the keyboard. So in order to write and accordingly, remember the unit to type the first Pali and then use a comma in order to take the second value. So the first value is for the x-axis, while the second value is 4, the y axis. And as well, when using a tool or a command, you're going to find this blue numbers, which implies that you won't be able to type in a value by using the keyboard. So you will be able to use the keyword in order to write the exact values that you want to use while you're drawing tool. Now the same time, in order to cancel a drawing tool, just need to use Escape on the keyboard. However, with some drawing tools. So just the line. Once you draw the first line, if you use escape before completing the first line, you will be cancelling but to recommend. And if you use escape while trying the second line, and you will give the first, not the second. So this is going to be pretty useful when you want to cancel out, to recommend such as the line with that they're leaving or undoing everything that you have done by that point. And also, if you use escape while type in a value in the keyword, the only thing that you will be doing is erasing the value. So you can type in a new one. And this is something that you can do as many times as U1, which means that you will be able to use Escape on the keyboard before confirming a value by using the keyword. And now cyclohexanol. And just remember that the ones that you select an object, such as this line, you are going to be able to see that there is greater by the line. Now in this case, I'm just going to delete this line so I can continue to use the line tool or a command in order to show you what else can you do when you send it to recommend that you have on the draw panel. Now, among other things for you to know is that you're able to use something that is called listener internetwork or neck one object with another. Now the synapse is something that we're going to see later on. So this is just in order to show you that you have available. This is naps when drawing on the model space As a quick sign-up. And yet SNPS are very related to the Greek. And this is also very important because this snaps are related to the grid. So I'm just going to show you this a little bit later because the grip is made or controls that you can actually use this as lamps and acyclic signer. Remember they are able to high, around high integrity of the modern space. So once we cover that query and then we go to the snares, you're going to see how they use them, as well as how much they are related one way or the other. So you will be able to draw on the model space by using a cell reference that great, but you have on the monospace or by just simply using other methods that we're going to see throughout the course. 16. Polar Tracking and Orthographic Mode: And now we're going to start talking about something important that is related to the grid and also to the drawing tools, which is the polar tracking. Now the polar tracking advocate, he's enabled by default. And in order for you to see, now you're used in the polar tracking. You will need to draw a line based on the angles theory is important. A polar tracking, which in this case the angles of the polar tracking are based on 90 degrees intervals, which means that the line will have a colloquium every night of the grease. So if I disable the product tracking by using this status bar, you will be able to see that you have no longer in the green line. Now this is actually pretty useful if you are using an alternative to the polar tracking. So I'm going to use once again, the line tool I recommend in order to show you how to enable, once again, the polar tracking by using these stories bar or the shortcut, which is the Fn key, you will be able to have the polar tracking enabled once again. Now something important for you to notice is that when you use and the polar tracking, you will have a drop-down that you can open by using this arrow right next to the icon of the polar tracking. So you can change these angles to, for example, 45 degrees. And with this in mind, you will be able to simplify how you draw on the monospace based on the angles that you want to use for any specific project or a specific shape. And that's something as well for you to know where the polar tracking at the polar tracking is a restriction on the movement of the cursor. However, this restriction less than a stop you from moving the cursor anywhere you want on the monospace. So the restriction will only be visible and useful once you are within the interval. So you can select Wireless and the polar tracking. And every time they use this increments, when using a drawing tool, you will be able to see this green line. And as you notice so far, you will be able to change the angles for different values and disrupt them. So after change the value to 30 degrees, we are going to see when the light turns green or the Betty has a different appearance every time that you draw the line based on intervals of Delhi, the grease. So this is very useful because you will be able to choose at any point angles that you want to use while creating your drawings. Now as you notice, you will also have other increments that you can use at any point. So this means that you will be able to change this increments in real time. So I can go ahead and keep using the same values for the intervals. Or in another words, the angles that are going to be used in order to determine the interval. So you can use while working your drawing. So in this case you can see what you can do by changing the value. But also you will be able to see that what is in the polar tracking, you will have settings that you can change in order to modify how to use the product tracking. So if you open the drop-down once again that you have right next to the icon for the polar tracking. And then you click Reset struggling settings. You will be able to open that drafting settings window. Somebody sent this window. You will be able to turn on and off the polar tracking. And as you can do by using left 10 and the icon in the status bar. But also you're able to change the increments by using this window. And if I use this window in order to change the increments angle, you're going to see there are three blinking on, okay? They increments are going to change. Now this is certainly you cannot change in real time based on the right-click on the mouse or in another words are used and the chaconne many. So this means that you will need to change the increments by using this menu or by using their tracking studies when the NASW I will in this window, able to add additional angles where you may want to use for this increments. However, if you might have noticed that decimals are actually rounded to the next higher number. So 7.5 will actually be campaign. So you can keep this in mind every time that you went to grade and a specific interval by essentially drafting settings window. And also if you go once again to the trap them, you're also going to find the interval that it was based on the drafting settings window. Now as well, since you are able to create additional angles, you're also able to delete them. Now the increments that you have by default, aggregate are actually very good. So changing them, we're adding additional angles become somewhat optional. So inadequate. You will be able to use the polar tracking any bank L1, we noted to use the intervals that you want to use for any specific drawing or any specific project. However, this doesn't mean that you can now use the other options that we're going to see throughout this course. So instead of using the intervals, you might want to use the option that I'm going to show you, which is referred to as orthographic mode. Now this is another way in order to restrict the movement of the cursor while creating your drawing. So if I use the bullet tracking that we have with aggregate masonry increments, you will be able to find learners ceratin increments. That line becomes green. However, you're going to notice then now the line is not green anymore. And also you're going to see in the status bar that the icon that is highlighted, the one right next to the polar tracking. And this is because in the keyword I'm pressing Shift while and you see the line to recommend. Now what this does is that actually enables the orthographic more pressing and holding the Shift on the keyboard. Now the orthographic mole is just a way for you to make sure that you are using the drawing tools may only on Lady the grease intervals, meaning they are only able to draw based on the direction of the axis, whether it's the y axis or the x-axis, without any additional values. However, while using the join tool or a command, you're going to see that on real time, you are able to go back and forth between the polar tracking and the orthographic MOOC Mitosis click ligand only icons and the status bar. Now as a quick side note, if you go to the icons that you have in the status bar, you're going to see many instead they have on the user interface. Now something different, whether in the polar tracking and the orthographic mode, is that the polar tracking doesn't restrict the movement of the cursor in a way that you can move the cursor anyway you want, however, the photographic mode will resurrect that drawing that is graded by using it to recommend. While at the same time, you can keep moving the cursor anywhere you want on the model space. And then we'll know the cursor is actually allowed because you will need to use the cursor in order to select options he snaps, and so on. This restriction, as you notice, are mainly based on the use of the tool. So recommends that you have on the draw panel, but also in the result, which also implies that the result will be different depending on if you're using photographic mode or the polar tracking. Now, once you get familiar with adequate, something that you will notice is that you actually have to decide between the orthographic mode for the polar tracking, because you will be able to change between one and the other in real time, whether it is by essentially from the keyword, as you have noticed up to this point. So this means that if you're using a specific tool recommend you might want to restrict the movement of the cursor orthogonally, but also you might want to use the polar tracking and the intervals that you selected in order to draw other model space. This means that depending on the shape or in another words, depending on what you're drawing, you may actually want to use one or the other. But more importantly, because advocate will allow you to see which one you're using by using the line tool, recommend you're going to see that the use of this restriction will actually make any sort of to appreciate that shaped your grading. So as you notice, all of these is more a matter of preference and then actual technical necessity. So you will be able to draw any way you want on a monospace, whether you are restricting the cursor orthogonally, are based on the Anglos, the select land just going to reverse the changes in order to avoid any confusion throughout the rest of the course. 17. The Coordinates System: And up to this point, I have mentioned that you can draw by using the coordinates. However, the coordinates can be a little bit confusing because there are actually based on points that related to an origin. Now in geometry is actually pretty common because the coordinates are actually based on the Cartesian plane. So how this is used in adequate, well, when you join that again, you will have coordinate systems that will allow you to define how you draw my, you send the values that you type on the keyboard, which are the values that I use when you die. For example, fie, fie, after use phi comma phi, you're going to see that I'm also able to tie 15 comma 10 in order to complete the line of the drawing. However, if I draw from the first line, you're going to see 35 members. The value, the result is going to be different. And this is because the first one is going to be the value on x. Well, the second one is going to be the Bali on why whether it's positive or negative. However, something for you to notice is that these values are now based not on the origin or the serum, serum on the monospace, but rather on the fight or my phi when he was use when it's starting the line. So the phi comma phi actually become 0. This is the default coordinate system that is used inadequate. So if I continue to open the valleys in order to form a shape by using the line tool or command in order to complete the line. So this coordinate system, but it has mean you so far is the relative coordinate system. So this coordinate system very much use SSL referenced in the last segment that was graded, or more precisely, the position of the cursor after joining the last segment. So in another words, the position of the cursor. Once you draw a line, we'll let our Amanda new or a chain while using it to recommend that you haven't the draw panel. Well, there is another coordinate system that you can use that will use the same coordinates that you have on the model space. Now this coordinate system is the absolute coordinate system. So I'm just going to show you how to use it. But also I'm going to show you how to change from one coordinate system to the other. So in order to show you this currently system, you can actually go to the browser in order to search for the dynamic coordinate lengths, however, is the Greek sign, and this is one of those commands they are not going to find by you send them any browser. So if I use the dynamic inputs, I will be able to find the dynamic coordinates, which is referred to with the following name among the commands. Now this command can also be found by using the command line. Now when you use this command, you will be able to see that only has two bellies are, or in this case is not a true or false, is just a you will be able to choose between two options. Several been there before 10, 11, 11. One that I'm going to show you. So the colony system that I'm choosing right now is called the absolute coordinate system. So with the absolute coordinate system, you wouldn't even know in which position the cursor is located. So you can dive into those valleys by using the keyword. So I'm just going to create the following example based on the absolute coordinates, which means that I can type in the value that I have based on the position of the cursor on the grid. Now, this may seem unnecessary when you are just starting use an adequate, however, once you get used to advocate, you will actually get to notice that the coordinate systems will actually adjust how you want the gray you drawings. So this means that you will be able to use the coordinate systems based on your work are special. So in the case of someone specialties such as architecture and also engineering, you will actually find that the absolute coordinate system is actually pretty useful when you're working with somebody else. But at the same time, if you're already familiar with Erica or you're just working alone, you might want to use there were lipid coordinate system because in a way, it's easier when you're drawing an advocate, but also when you are creating certain drawings. So it just floor plans. You will actually notice that you actually use references within the drawing meaning, but architects and engineers actually have a way in order to know their projects. And one way in which we can know what to look for is the grid. Now, depending on your country or region, you might refer to this as access for guides. So with this in mind, the bacteria are specialty, whether you're working alone or with somebody else, you will actually be inclined to use one coordinate system or the other. And as well when you send a coordinate system center, you're going to notice is that the value is as important as the direction, is that because we're actually using a cell reference, the Cartesian plane, that value is on x and y can actually be positive or negative. So this means that the values in x and y can be positive but also negative. So this means that you will need to keep in mind in which quadrant of the Cartesian plane we are actually working. Now in this case, this quatrain is actually positive. So all the values are in typing on the keyboard are positive values. Now as a quick silent, if you open the drafting settings window, you will be able to modify on the dynamic inputs and the format that you want to use, my ascender pointer input settings, which will allow you to change the format and you want to use for your drawing. However, this one change how you input the values that you're using will work in your drawing. And as well, this doesn't mean that you will not be able to dive into balance by using the keyword whether you send the coordinates. So in this case, I'm just going to show you really quick, but pointer input settings, or more specifically, they said is that you can change. And at first glance you are not going to see any change because everything up to this point has been changing now up to where you can actually see that much of a difference. Either way, I will actually use the default settings throughout the course end as well. One of the reasons why you don't see that much of a difference is because this format is also determined by other settings that you can change. Now even though there are certain settings, they are just graded in order to change the format that you can see, such as the pointer input settings. You also have other settings that you can find outside of the dynamic inputs, or more specifically, where it says polar tracking. And that will actually change how he you start drawing tools such as, for example, that polar angle measurement. This one only has two options, absolute and relative to the last segment. So in order to show you how this works, I'm just going to choose the second option and then I'm going to click on okay, and once that I have done this, I'm going to use the line tool recommend in order to draw a line based on the following coordinates. And then you're going to notice then now the polar tracking is going to be base underlying the decorator, but at the same time, they will keep using the same Polar Tracking that he has been using so far. So it's very sensitive and it's also very easy to miss. If you don't pay attention to recolor the line there is projected by the polar tracking, which is Sunday. You can change by opening once again, subtracting settings window. Now cyclic Simon, the polar angle measurement, is also represented on the dynamic inputs, which means that the settings will also determine how the format is going to change, what you see on the dynamic inputs and other drafting settings window. And just going to use once again, the option for absolute, which will restore the polar angle measurements back to default. And then I'm just going to click on Okay, in order to close this window. Now an advocate for dynamic inputs are actually pretty useful. If you want to the sable for dynamic inputs, you can actually go ahead and do so by opening once again, the drafting settings window and under Settings window, just Clipper II says Dynamic Input any here you will be able to disable that pointer input, but also everyone else that you can show under dynamic inputs. So for example, if I just disable my pointer input, you're going to see after clicking on OK, The, You are not going to be able to see the coordinates when I use it to recommend such as the lung. However, you're going to still have the rest of the information that you have with the dynamic inputs. And this is something that you can easily reverse by going once again to the drafting settings window intellectual enable the pointer input. So as you notice, enabling or disabling the pointer input, or in general, or the options that you have on the dynamic inputs is actually very simple. So with this in mind, and you will be able to have information at all times while grading your drawing. So you're going to leave these settings by default. Most, most of the other settings and options that you have inadequate. 18. Status Bar Customization: Now until this point, I have mentioned the Dynamic Input LUT coordinate systems and also the units, but more importantly, how we are able to change 30 so you are going to be using while grading your drawing. So now I'm just going to show you that while you're using many of the tools recommends that you have in Aragon, he will be able to have information and options by just simply you send the status bar. So now I'm going to show you how you can customize this information and these options. So in order to do this, you just go to the status bar and then you click the option for customization. Now once you do this, you will be able to see all the options that you have in the status bar. And at the same time, you will be able to filter the information that you get based on the status bar. So for example, you will be able to disable, but also enable the auto ML and the polar tracking. And also you will be able to have more information by using the status bar and at the same time, and you will be able to access an option in order to enable or disable then Dynamic Input. So by using this option, you will be able to notice this icon in the status bar that will just simply allow you do the stable, the dynamic input at all times. So this means that in real time you will be able to enable but also disable then they NAMI input. So by using the customization that you have on the status bar, you will be able to modify the options such as this one, metal. So you will be able to show more information such as, for example, the coordinates. So this means they now you will have the coordinates at all times there were actually on the status bar. Now this is not the only option that you can use that might be actually useful to you while working in your drawing. So this means that you can use other options, such as the units. Now when you said the units, you're going to see that you will be able to use a drop them, which is pretty much the same drop-down you have under drawing units, which are pretty much the same options that you have under drawing units window. So this means that you will be able to change the units from decimal to architecture, engineering, fractional, and so on by just simply use in the status bar. So this will mean that you won't need to use many of the windows that you have inadequate. So this actually simplifies, borrow the word when creating and drawing. Now another option that we have seen that you will be able to have any sort of access just by using the option for customization on the status bar is the selection cycling. So this means that now you will be able to turn on and off the Selection Cycling by just simply using the status bar. And now I'm just going to return the status bar as the way the West before so we can continue with the girls. But please remember that you can actually change this right away. 19. The Line Tool or Command: So in order to summarize, when using the drawing tools recommends you will be able to use the drawing tools to regular basis and they drop panel. So if he is, for example, the line tool recommend you will be able to see the coordinates before drawing a line. Thanks for the dynamic inputs. And after using the dynamic inputs, you will be able to see the option to draw my use and the Polar Tracking for the orthographic mode in a cyclic saner, remember that you can change between polar tracking and orthographic model in real time by using the icons or by just simply you essentially from the keyboard. Or if you wanted to change to orthographic mode at all times, do you just simply use F9 on the keyboard, which is something that you can change at all times based on the way they want to work on your file as well. You will be able to choose how you want to draw a line by using the keyword in order to take the values where there is by segment or by using the coordinate system, which means that you can draw lines relative to the last segment or absolute, which is pretty much based on the coordinates of the model space. So you can choose whichever you like. And as well as, remember, you will have a value for awhile in a value for x. So the value for x will be the first one and the value for y will be the second one. And that's a quick sign-on groups. Remember that when you use coordinate, you need to use the comma after the first Pali. In as you notice, the absolute coordinate system, we'll actually use the sera, sera of the model space. So you wouldn't need to keep in mind the balance of your typing on the keyboard based on the Cartesian plane. Now remember as well that the coordinate system, we'll also be determined by the direction of the axis, meaning that the values can be positive but also negative. So you wouldn't need to give them my than the values that you type on the keyboard are also going to take into account if you're writing a negative value or if you're writing a positive value. And that's another week. Sino, remember that you can change the coordinate systems in real time based on the following command. With this in mind, you're able to change the coordinate systems, but also you will be able to change the settings. My grading your drawing by just simply you send that drop that you have right next to the icon for tracking. So you can click where it says drafting settings. So you can open the drafting settings window in order to change the settings that you want to use. Such as, for example, the polar tracking, but also the dynamic input in which you can change the pointer input settings. Now in this case, I'm just going to leave everything by default, so it will remain a standard throughout the course. Now some of the training tools actually have options that we're going to see later on because their assumptions and to be a little bit more complex for first-time users. So I want to make sure that we focus on how you use the drawing tools. And then I'm going to show you they're not so basic options that you have. Or in another words, the options that might be a little bit confusing at first. Now the first tool or a command we're going to see under Draw panel will be the line by clicking directly and aligned to recommend on the draw panel. But also you can use the menu browser in order to search for the line to recommend, which also means that you will be able to search for the line Bu, recommend in a few different ways. So one of these ways is by searching for the line tool I recommend based under dynamic inputs, which also implies that you will be able to search for the line to recommend, we also use another command line. And while doing this, we're also able to see if a particular tool or command actually has a shortcut. So where you can do simply type one letter and then just wait if there is a result that match what you're looking for. And if you cannot find a resource that you're looking for, just take the next letter in order for you to see if you're going to result in this way, you can make sure given the researcher go there, you're going to use now most of the shortcuts that you're going to need, we're going to see them throughout the course. So the shortcut for the line tool, I recommend ACLS and Larry. And once they find their line to recommend, just need to select the eNodeB to use it. Now once they use the line tool or Grumman, you will be able to draw a line arbitrarily, which means any way they want and the model space, nasa quick saner is that the line tool I recommend is actually created by the references, which means two points and the model space. Determine whether the line is going to store and what are their line is going to win. However, you can actually use the coordinate systems in order to do the same, but also in order to determine the length of the line, which means that you will be able to use the coordinate system in order to select the first of the line and the second of the line, however, as well. Once you select the forest point of the line, you're also able to determine the length of the line by using the keyword. So this means that you can type in a value on the keyword that will actually be the length of the line. So you have the frame ways in order to determine the values for the line under model space. And also remember that when you use Control C, you will learn to have written that you have done with that too. In this case, you won't be undoing everything that you have done with their length to recommend. And I'm just going to draw another line in order to show you something else. And after drawing the line, you're going to see that if you hold the line and you will be able to see attacks letting you know that type of project that you're grading, which in this case is the line, that color and that layer and the line type. And as well, if you select the line, you will have the controls or what is refers to inadequate as the grip. Now just to give you an idea that is actually made of these blue boxes that you see when you select an object, which in this case it's a line, so you can use them white grading your drawings. Now with this in mind, you will always be able to draw a line, but at the same time, you will be able to draw the line with the help of a few basic options in our disruptions can be found by just simply using the arrow they have on the keyboard. And then Wesley, you have done this, you will be able to find an option that is called undo. Now you can use some do by clicking racism or by using the arrows in order to select it and then using Enter on the keyboard there as well, you can use the shortcut, which is us an umbrella, or you can directly click waste system do on the command line. And the next option is pretty much another option that you can use by drawing the following lines. And then after use Enter down arrow, just need to choose where it says close by either using the mouse or by using the arrows on that keyword and then just clicking Enter on the keyboard. And as you can see, this will allow you to create a shape based on their lives. Now As a quick saner, you need to make sure that you have at least two lines before you use the option to close. Now something they are going to notice is that the way they use this options on any of the tools recommends that you have inadequate, It's very standard, so you will be able to use them very much the same way. Now the option to closest breaker in order to complete a shape without having to draw an additional line, but also in order to avoid use in a reference if you are not using the snps. However, standing for you to notice is that you won't be able to use the option for pillows if you are using the line tool or a command in order to continue at Troy, the already started. So this means that you will need the gray once again from at least two lines before using once again, the option to close, which you can also go ahead and use the radius and the sugar CS and Charlie on the keyboard. Or you can just use the same, then you can do with under, which means the indirect look like resistance close and the command line. So with all this in mind, you're going to see that the line to recommend is pretty much a standard recommend. They are going to be using wireless starting with aggregate. And this is because you're able to use the basics Office and the line to recommend so you can apply them to the other tool circumvents, they are going to find out the draw panel. So with this in mind, I'm just going to finish with a shape. So then we can continue with the other those who recommends that we're going to cover from the drop panel. 20. The Polyline and The Spline Tools or Commands: Now in order to recommend that you can find on the train panel is the polyline. Now you can use the polyline in order to create a polyline by using multiple references. So instead of using two references, you will be creating multiple references or multiple points. Or in another words, multiple points that are used in order to connect the segments that make the polyline and as well this tool or command can also be found by you send them any browser. So you can use the search box on the menu browser in order to find the polyline. Which will also imply that you can use other methods that we have seen so far in order to find the polyline. So this means that I can use the dynamic inputs in order to search for the polyline. But at the same time you can see if there is a shortcut in order to create a polyline. Now in this case the shortcut is P S and P line. So it's pretty much the same thing as writing P L in order to find the polyline, which is pretty much the same thing that you can do myosin the command line. I'm just going to write partly with a Y as in yellow in order to find the polyline regardless of the way in which you find a polyline. Once they use the polyline, you will be able to use the left click on the mouse in order to select the references or points in order to create the segments of the polyline. And in order to finish the polyline, you just need quickly escape or Enter on the keyboard. Now once you create a polyline, you are able to coordinate polyline so you can see how it refers to the netiquette and also so you can select them in order to see the controls. Or in another words, in order to see the greater is greater for the polyline. Now with this in mind, you're able to create a polyline by using different methods. One of them is by selecting the references, all of the points they are going to be using in order to create a polyline. But also you can use the coordinate system in order to select how you want to draw the polyline. So you can just simply use the coordinate system in order to select the points that will create the segments to make the polyline, which will also imply that you can add more precision, but at the same time that you can draw the polyline and little bit differently by just simply selecting the length of the segment by typing a value on the keyboard. Now you can just simply select the next reference or point anyway you want, but you can't give you a simple cable in order to select a line or in order to select a coordinate. Once again, you need to click Escape on the keyboard, or if you prefer, Enter on the keyboard in order to finalize the polyline. Now because the polyline can be created by your center coordinates, you can also use other methods in order to draw a polyline, such as, for example, the fact that you can restrict them about the cursor orthogonally, which also implies where you can restrict the movement of the cursor by incentive specific angles. Or in another words, you can go back and forth between orthographic mode and polar tracking. And this is sending that you can do by just simply instantiate from the keyboard or by using the icons and the status bar. So you can just go back and forth between restricting the movement of the cursor orthogonally are based in collect tracking at any point while drawing a polyline. And regardless of which way you create a polyline, the results still going to be considered a polyline. Now, there is an alternative to the polyline, which is called the xz-plane. Now you can find this plane by going once again to the draw panel in order to display folder tools that you haven't the draw panel. And here you will be able to find this plane, which also means that you can find this plane by you send them any browser. So you can use once again the search box, but you have no money browser in order to search for this plane. Now this is playing can also be found by using the dynamic inputs. However, you're going to see that this plane doesn't have a shortcut. So instead of using a shortcut and just going to use the command line in order to search for this plane. Now regardless of the way that you search for this plane, you are going to see that this plane is called GSS plane. And the dynamic inputs as well as in the command line. And this is because you actually have two methods in order to create a spline. So the first method that is selected by default is called as playing field. So once you set like this method, you are going to see that you're able to explain by randomly selecting the references or points we are going to use in order to create this plane. But at the same time, you will be able to draw a spline in a few different ways. And this will imply they will be able to use the coordinates when drawing the polyline in order to draw the references that you are going to use monitoring the polyline. So by selecting the references, by just simply using the coordinate system, you will have a little bit more precision when drawing this plane, which will also imply that you can type in the value that is used in order to select the length of the reference or in another words of the reference line there issues in order to determine the position of the next reference or pointer is used to create this blind. Nasa quick signing. In order to finish this plane, you just need to use Enter or Spacebar on the keyboard. And also, if you want to cancel this plane, you can use Escape on the keyboard. Now as well. In order to undo this plane, you can also use Control C in order to undo what you have done, will use and display to recommend. So you are going to be able to finish his plane, but also you will be able to cancel this plane just by using Escape on the keyboard and then cyclic center. Remember that you can restrict the movement of the cursor orthogonally are based on the accuracy are using, whether polar tracking by very essentially from the keyword or by using the icons and the status bar. And once you define the spline, just need to use Enter or Spacebar on the keyboard in order to finish this blame. Once you've finished this plane, if you hover this plan, you're going to see how she refers to inadequate. But also if you send like them, you will be able to see the controls. Or in another words, that grip of this plane we just mentioned before is something that we're going to cover in a little bit more detail later on. And as I mentioned before, when you create a spline, you can see there is two methods in order to create a spline. So the second method in order to create this plane is called a spline CV. Now this one can also be found by using the draw panel, which will also imply maybe you can use the search box right under many browser in order to look for the spline CV. And as a quick side note, CV expense for control purposes, which will also imply that you can use the dynamic inputs in order to do the same. However, once you select the spline by using the dynamic inputs, you will be able to notice that you will need to use the down arrow in order to change the method to CV. Now this is something that you can also do by using the command line. So once you find this plane, and then you will be able to click on Enter or Spacebar and the keyword here in order to change the method. So when psych labor extensively, you are going to notice and a small difference when drawing this plane. Now this difference is mainly under-representation of the triangle. So this one mean that you will be able to draw this plane pretty much the same way, even though the resource is going to be different. So because these plans are created pretty much the same way, you are going to be able to use once again, the coordinate systems in order to track is playing. But also this will imply that you can set like the length of the segment of this reference lines that are used in order to select the next reference or pointer is used in order to create a spline. Now sending the point now is that this reference or points are controls that you are going to use in order to control this plane, which is something that we're going to see in just a moment. And I will draw a spline. You're going to notice that the points that you said like quite a different representation. So we are actually selecting or the control purposes that are going to determine the shape of display. So because of this, and you will be able to place this productive uses the same way the Utah with other tool circumvents. So this will imply we are also going to be able to restrict them. Omer the cursor by the US and Shift on the keyboard, but by also using the icons from the status bar. So you are going to be able to restrict them on local cursor orthogonally. So based on the angle, so you're using where the polar tracking. So this means that by essentially from the keyboard or by just simply using the icons on the status bar, you will be able to change how you draw this plane. Now once this plane has been created, or in another words, after use an escape or invent the keyword. You can call this plane in order to see how Russia first main advocate and also in order to see how the controls for the back ribs actually appears on this plane. So this plane is a pretty useful to recommend that allows you to create eccentric shapes with a few controls that we are going to see how you can use them throughout this course. 21. The Circle and The Donut Tools or Commands: So now I'm going to show you that circle to recommend. Now the circle tool I recommend can actually be found on the draw panel. Now the circle to recommend will actually give you options in order to draw a circle. However, it can be for a way in which we are going to be able to create a circle is the center radius, which is pretty much how you draw a circle in almost any other software. Well, you can also find the circle to recommend by going to the menu browser in order to search for the best circle to recommend. Now once you do this and they are able to select the first option, which is center radius. Now you can pretty much do the same thing based on the dynamic inputs, one worker and the monospace, which will also imply that you will be able to see if there is a shortcut for this to recommend. Now the shortcut for this to recommend ECS and traveling. And last but not least, you can use the command line in order to search for the circle to recommend. Now I say you start using this circle to recommend. You're going to notice that you are able to draw the circle by using a center in a radius. So this means that you select the center and then you select the radius from the center. And once you use the left click on the mouse in order to select the center, or in another words, you use the left leg on the mouse in order to select the center and the monitoring space. And then you use the left click on the mouse once again in order to select the radius. And once they have done this, you won't be able to see that the circle has been created. Now if you remember, you can use the coordinates inadequate at any point. So this means that by using the coordinate system, you will be able to select a coordinate various going to be the center of the circle. And then you can use the keyword in that badly for the radius. Now it's 11 joined the circle, you will be able to go back and forth. But when restricted anymore murder cursor or the Fergana Valley are based on the language that you're using for the polar tracking, where there is by using Shift on the keyboard or by just simply using the icons and the status bar. Now once you create a circle, you're going to see many of you heard of a circle. You're going to see how aggregate classifies the shape. But also if you select the circle, you will be able to see the grip of the circle. Now in order to change how all the different ways in which you can create a circle, you can actually use the options of the circle to recommend by using the down arrow, which will allow you to create a circle based on the diameter. Or in another words, in order to create a circle base and the option centered diameter. Now when you do this, you're going to notice that works pretty much the same way as using center radius. However, instead of defining the radius, or you will be defining is the total diameter of the circle. And as a quick side note, you can also use the options of a tool recommend by using a shortcut, which is the one that you can see on the command line. And in this case, the shortcut for the diameter is ds and debit. And this implies they are able to use the command line in order to select the option for the diameter either way when you create a circle. Now something to point out is that you can also use the coordinates in order to select the center of the circle, which means that you can use the keyword. And also you will be able to restrain the moment the cursor orthogonally are based on an angle. Now aswell, something for you to notice is that if you draw a circle once again, you are going to see that by default, you will draw the circle by center radius and where you use the down arrow, that default value that you're going to see this half of the diameter that I type on the keyword when grading the circle, why isn't the diameter? So you may notice that when I'm doing these premises showcase of all the ways that you can create a circle, myosin the circle to recommend. And also by showing you how the options will affect the use of this to recommend. So I'm just going to create another circle based on the radius. So you can notice that we haven't changed the default way in which you create a circle. So this will also imply that way you cray. So consider a circle. So once we heard that circle, you're going to be able to see this merozoite. You will be able to select the circle so you can see that the controls remain the same. Now before showing you the next option for the best circle, I'm just going to show you how you can switch back and forth between all these options in order to create a circle. Now the first thing that you can notice is that by using the down arrow after you start using the circle to recommend is that you are going to see the SRP them with the options in order to change the way that you can create a circle. So in this case, we are going to see that number three followed by ps and Peter, and number 2 followed by ps and Peter. And the last one necess in parenthesis and then radius, nasa quick saner. Now, actually, TEN stands for the attention. You will be able to select among these options in order to select how you want to create a circle after you use the circle to recommend. Now in this case, I'm just going to click on Escape on the keyboard in order to show you once again, let drop them below where it's a circle. Now if you look into the strap now once again, you will be able to find the center radius and the center diameter, which are the ones that we have seen so far. But also you will be able to find two points, entry point. Now the 2 first ones that we have seen are pretty much based on you select and the radius and the diameter. So you can just simply change between one and the other wealth gradient the circle. Or in another words, you will be able to switch between one and the other after you selected the center of the circle, which is a little bit different, what you can do in order to create a circle. So I'm just going to open 1 second dropdown in order to show you that you can switch back and forth between all these options that we'll end. This may seem a little bit confusing at first. However, you don't have to use this options because you have the drop-down. So by using the drop-down, you will be able to select among all the different variants are all the different ways in which you can create a circle. Settling a little bit easier within the center radius, the center diameter, that the point, the point that tangent, tangent radius and the tangent, tangent, tangent. But at the same time, if you come from a previous version adequate, we are going to be able to keep using the other options that you have inadequate in order to change the method that you want to use in order to create a circle. Now the circle has different ways in order for you to draw a circle. So you can actually use the drop-down right below is a circle in order to select among the different ways that you have in order to draw a circle. So we use a drop them in order to sell libraries that center diameter in order to use this way. And I'm just going to show you how you can easily create a circle by pretty much using the same methods as center radius, which means that you will be able to use the left click on the mouse in order to select the center and also in order to select the diameter. But as well, you will be able to use a coordinate system in order to select the center, but also in order to select the diameter. Which also implies that you can simply paper diameter by using the keyword. Now so quick signer, if you hold the circle, we are going to notice that regardless of the way they agree, the circle, the circle will remain just as a circle inadequate. Now, next I'm going to show you the option that is called 2. So by using disrupt and once again, I'm going to click where it says 2 in order to select two points by using once again the left click on the mouse. Now this is a little bit different because you will be selecting references that will represent the start of the circle and the end of the circle. Or in another words, it will be drawing a circle by drain, a line that will represent the beginning of the diameter and the end of the diameter. Now you can also do this by using a coordinate system, which means that you can use the keyword in order to tie that ln of the reference line, which represents the diameter of the circle, a cyclic center. Remember to be, you can restrict the moment the cursor orthogonally are based on the Anglosphere using metaphor love tracking by value essentially from the keyword or by using the icons and the status bar. And once again, if you hold the circle, you're going to see that it's still considered a circle, but more importantly in pedigree remains the same. And up next I'm going to show you the way that you can create a circle by using the option that is called tree point. I'm going to use once again the drop-down below where it says circle in order to select the option that is called 3.3 is a little bit different because you said like three points and it will determine the shape of the circle. So the way that you select these points, now you send the left click on the mouse will actually determine the shape of the circle. Now this doesn't mean that you cannot actually use this option. May send a coordinate system, which will imply that you can use the coordinates in order to select these three points. And also you can use the keyword in order to select the length of the reference lines that you're using in order to grade the circle. Now once the greater the circle you are going to see once again that the circle is considered a circle. Once you hover the circle, and also once you select them, you can see that the group is still the same software Berlin and a circle. I'm just going to show you how to create a circle by center and radius, which is pretty much tangent, tangent radius. And as a quick Salem, the reason why the solution is called band and radius is because you need to select a time Jim, and then another tangent. But at the same time, you can select the radius meant trainer reference and the monospace about so using a specific values may you can type on the keyboard. Now this way is a little bit tricky because you don't have a way to grade this by just simply selecting points and the model space. So in this case, what I'm going to do is actually use another to recommend that we have seen before in order to create a reference and the monospaced. So I'm going to use the line tool Pergamon within the marrow space, where the specific coordinates. Now the coordinates are going to affect the result of using phantom radius. So I can use, use the line to recommend, or in this case, I'm also going to create another reference by using another to recommend a non-union show you that you can actually use that tangent from one shape or object and the monospace. Now once I use the drop down once again in order to select tangent, tangent radius, you're going to notice that the first thing that you need to do is select two references that already exist on the monospace in Aleppo. Create a circle. So this means that this is based on references that you can select an existing objects under monospace. Know that tangent is actually based on the circle and not so much in the reference because the tangent is actually a point on the curve, or in this case the circle that touches another object. For a little bit more simply, if you use sunlight and a curve as an example, that tangent is going to be what a deadline purchased occur and with our intersect and the curb. So this means that the line can only touch the curve. So advocate will use this concept in order to create a circle that is now going to intersect the objects that are used as a reference. However, with 10, 10 radius, you are going to be able to determine what are the center of the circle is going to be located based on the radius or issues, great and the circle. So this means that the circle is going to be grading very much by using the center radius. However, the placement is going to be base under reference that are selected for my specifically based on the tangents of the objects that are used as reference when creating the circle as well, you will notice that you are able to determine the radius either drawing a reference line BY is on the left click on the mouse, but also you will be able to select the radius, actually using the keyword. So while using tangent, tangent radius, you will be able to see that after selecting the references, you can type on the keyboard, then really slow you want to use. And once again, for aggregate businesses still a circle with the same group as the other circles. Now I'm just going to erase this in order to show you how you can create a circle, radius. And the last option, which is 10, 10, 10, or in another words, tangent, tangent, tangent. Now this one works pretty much the same way as tangent, tangent radius, which means that it won't be able to create a circle without references. So I'm going to create the following references by using the line tool recommend. So I'm going to create a few references by a center to recommend terribly used before. So I'm going to use the line tool or a command in order to gray the following references. And once that I have the references and just going to use the drop them with lower, it's a circle once again, in order to select the option that is called tangent, tangent, tangent. And after base, I'm just going to select literary tangents that are going to be used in order to create a circle. Now cyclic same when you send them 1010 or in another words, tangent, tangent, tangent aggregate will also create a circle. However, is going to place the circle by actually using the tangents of the objects that are used as reference. Or in another words, is going to place this circle by just touching the references. So this means that it's going through your cis-element that references the use when creating the circle. Now the result of disruption will remain pretty much the same way regardless of the order in which our references are selected because it's based on the danger of the objects. So in order to change the result of which just need to create a specific references that can have a specific measurements. So this way you will be able to be more precise with the result that you get myosin tangent, tangent, tangent. Now so quick sign-up. This is one of the options, the aggregate graded in order to make a little bit quicker and equations and circles and one already been created by users. Swell. You're going to see that if you hold a circle, this is still going to be considered a circle as well as the others. And last but not least, in order to show you the difference between one and the other, I'm just going to draw a circle by using all the methods that we have on the drop them. So this means that I'm going to be creating a circle by using the center radius, but also I'm going to be using center diameter, 2.3 tangent, tangent, radius, tangent, tangent, tangent. And just doing this in order for you to see how you can create different circles and the result of all of them at the same time. So you may get an idea of what circles, what option would you like to use on a specific scenarios? And as a quick reminder, remember that the tangent, tangent radius is pretty much the same as tangent, tangent, tangent, except for the fact that we're using tangent, tangent radius, we are going to be able to be permanent the radius by using a reference or based on the coordinate system while tangent, tangent, tangent, tangent in order to determine the placement of the circle. Or in another words, he's going to use the tangents and certainly in front of a circle. Now the circle to recommend is very flexible, but also the options that you can use Harris specific enough for you to change among the options that you have in order to draw a circle in this is mainly useful when you're using, for example, clean screen in order to avoid use in the river. Now inadequate. You have another tool or recommend that allows you to use the shape of a circle. And these two recommend is called the donor. And the donor can actually be found hunted drop panel. So you can use the draw panel in order to use that on, which also implies that you can use the menu browser in order to search for the baton to recommend. And since we are able to use the menu browser in order to search for the overnight. You're also going to be able to use the dynamic inputs. So you can use to dynamic inputs in order to search for this to recommend. But also you are going to see if there is a shortcut. Now in this case, the shortcut for this to recommend is TSM day before us and Oscar. And last but not least, we are going to be able to use the command line in order to search for that honor, to recommend. Now once they use the donor do recommend, you are going to see that these two recommend is pretty similar to the circle. However, in this case, you pretty much gray circles or in another words, two radiuses. So this will imply that you create a first reference that is going to represent the internal diameter of the donor, which has a default value that you can see once the you, you said or not to recommend. And then you will select the outside diameter of Teutonic, which already has a default value. So all this in place, and then we'll use the references in order to create that donor. But you will be actually doing in sexually drawing to reference lines, one for the inside diameter of the donor and the other one me outside diameter. Now this will also keep in mind the value C you use for the inside diameter and the outside diameter. Or in another words, you will have to keep in mind which diameter is larger. And after this, we are going to see that you can place it anywhere you want. So the equation of the donor is actually a little bit more visible if you use a specific values. So I'm going to use Control C in order to undo that on. And I'm going to use once again clipped on to recommend. So the base wider I can actually describe the creation of the donor, is that the first time that you actually create is the internal diameter of the donor. And the second thing that Ukraine is the external diameter of the donor, Soviet external diameter is actually bigger than the internal diameter. You will get a result that looks like this. And after base, you're going to see that you can place the donor anywhere you want, which also implies where you can place that on that based on the coordinate system. And at the same time, you can actually illustrate the murder cursor by using polar tracking product orthographic mode. So you will be able to use Shaphan, the keyword, but also the icons in the status bar. So you can actually draw the donor quite restricted and the moment that cursor hand a monospace. So in this case I'm going to send like a specific values while restricting the moment the cursor. So you can see a different way in which you can draw that on a fundamental space nasa quick signer. In this case, the value for the inside diameter smaller than the value for the m sub diameter. Now with this in mind, you will be able to create a donor my using a specific values, but also by turning that on and in a specific way. And as you notice, the result will vary depending on the points that you select, but also on the diameter of that you select, which you can select all of them visually, but also by using a specific values. So you can test the following values in order to get the following results. Nasa quick sign on the grid will allow you to get an idea how precise this values actually are. And as well, I'm going to show you later on how you can modify the green values and the modern space. So you would be able to change the query based on how you want to draw phenomenon space. Also, in order to be a little bit more specific, use case, you simply use these values that I'm typing right now and the keyword in order for you to see how you can create a small shapes Mason the donor. And last but not least, once you created the donor, you can coordinate donor in order for you to see that aggregate consider this donor polyline and also so you can see the query that is created for them is to recommend. 22. The Arc Tool or Command: Now the next two recommender I'm going to show you under draw panel is called the arc. Now the arc to recommend has actually a lot of barriers that you can use at all times. Now you can find the R2 or Command and the draw panel, but also you can find the arc by using the search box on the mini-project. Nasty other tools or commands you can also find they are also using the dynamic inputs. Now what you're searching for VR to recommend, you will be able to see if there is a circuit that you can use in order to use this to recommend and the shortcut is a as an apple. Now since you're able to use the dynamic inputs, you're also able to use the command line in an amplifying, they are to recommend. Now the arc to recommend, as the name implies, will allow you to create an arc and a monospace by selecting the starter BR and then the NOP, arts and sciences and art. You will also need to select the radius of the circle, which is something that you can also select file. So you see on the left click on the mouse. Now the basic arc that you can create by using aggrecan is called a three-point arc. Nice go this way because you actually select three points, or in another words, three references for the VR or B or neither of the Earth and the radius of the Earth, which can also be turned by a center coordinate system. So when you're using this to recommend, you're able to input the coordinates based on the coordinate system in order to create an arc, which also implies that you are able to select the value they are going to be using in order to separate the beginning of the Earth. And the NFP are also using the keyword, which will imply they will be able to use the keyword in order to tie the value of the radius. And as well, some input by now is that the arc is graded as a segment of a circle. And last but not least, as many of the other tools that you can find on the top panel. We were also able to draw the hair by using the orthographic mode and the polar tracking by essentially from the keyboard or by using the AI constantly status bar. And as I mentioned before, the arc is the segment of a circle. So this means that when you hold the yard and you will be able to see that is considered an advocate. Meddlesome, that if you select the arc, you are going to get angry. Very similar to the circle when it comes to the fact that you have a control and the center of the Earth. And as a quick signer, remember that you can use a as an apple in order to use the two recommend without using an icon. Now since these two are government has a little burial so you can use in order to create an arc, you won't be able to instead drop them right next to the icon for VR in an EPR, select among the different variations they impact in order to create an array, which also implies that you can find these variations, may send them any browser able to use them any browser. Remember that you can also search for the ergs by using the dynamic inputs and the command line. However, you wouldn't notice the only one that you're going to find is just the first one. So in this case, in order to use the other variations, you wouldn't need to use to drop them or the menu browser in order to find these variations. However, once they find them, you will be able to use any of these variations in order to create an arc. And Sunday as well for you to notice is that these variations or three at a time, and this is because their functionality are very similar. So if I start first by star Center n, you're going to see that you will be able to draw an art by selecting a cell reference list dot and then the center of the Earth we are going to select. Next. We're just going to be determined by the angle that you select. Now another constant among VR's is the fact that you can use the restrictions on any of these variations. So this means that you will be able to use Shift on the keyboard in order to go back and forth between the polar tracking their photographic mode, but also they will be able to use the keyword in order to do pretty much the same. Now with all this in mind, if you select any of these arcs, you are going to see that regardless of the method, advocate will consider this objects and r and also they will have the same grip. Now among these variations and going to be able to show you the other ones, beginning with the store center angle. Now this one is pretty much the same one as the start, center end. I want in this case, you select the story of the Earth and the center of the orchestra reference. And why do you decide is the length of the arc by using an angle. So as you notice, the structure of the name represents the first and the second reference, followed by what determines the result they are going to get when drawing the yard. Now, we're going to have, which pretty much means reference. And the center of the yard. Ob or MDM, actually determines the direction of any art. And then I'm just going to show you the variation that is called the start angle, which we're going to see something slightly different, but very similar to the basic option. So you're going to be selecting a cell reference, this AR and VR. And where you are going to be selecting is the angle that is going to determine the radius of the Earth. So the next one is called n direction in order to draw a cell reference. And what will determine the result of the art is going to be the direction that you choose. And you can also use the icons in the status bar in order to go back and forth between the orthographic mode and the polar dragging while drawing an arm. Now this will be followed by another variation that is go and radius. Now this one, as the name implies, this dark, NBN and VR. And then you're just going to select the rays of the sun. Now 1 second, the subjects are considered arcs, which means that we also have pretty much the same grip. Now once there you go. Once again to the truck, then you will be able to select center Mr. M, which is pretty much the same thing as a start, center end. Or in this case, you select the cell reference, the center of the Earth, and the end of the yarn. So what you're going to draw her selected bn, the length of the arc. And I'm going to place one, you have another one we just call center is our angle. This one will allow you to reference. It will be the angle. And now last but not least, among these variations, you're going to have the one that is going to center. This center. And what will be the lambda you choose. And last but not least, remember that all of these would be considered arcs, but also a lot of time we'll have pretty much the same grip. Nonetheless, panellists, in order to finish the showcase of all the arcs, or in another words, all the different variations that you have in order to create an arcane aggrecan. I'm just going to go up this variations based on how they are created. So I'm just going to start with the start center end. And this is followed by star n angle and last panellists, center star n. And I'm just going to show you the next group beginning with the star Center angle. Then I'm just going to continue with the star n direction. And last but not least, is going to be centre start angle. I'm just going to show you the last three variations that you have. To start simple. And then I'm just going to show you, let's start. I'm just going to finish with the center. Now I'm on the arcs. There is a particular variation of the arc that is not actually used in order to draw an independent art Madrid. It is graded in order for you to continue drawing based on an existing variation is called continuing that this one would require for you to create an arc in order for you to use. And in order to find these two recommend, you can always use the draw panel, but also you can also use the menu browser in order to search for this to recommend. Now, as with the other variations, you won't be able to find these two recommend bias and dynamic inputs, which will also imply that you won't be able to find this variation by using the command line. So you will need to use the chart and once again, in order to select this variation. Now since this to recommend actually requires another part, I would just simply create an arc with the specific measurements minute we are going to create an arc buying center coordinate system. And then after, great, and I would just use this variation in order to show you what will happen. And after you do this, you're going to notice that and I will be greater right next to the last time that I created. Now you can create this art, whether a specific measurements, which means that you can create this art by using values. So you will be able to use values based on the coordinate system that you're using. But also you will be able to do it by selecting the values that are used to create this R on the keyboard. If I use Control C writerly this arcs, in order to create a new one, you will be able to see the ones that are greater than your hand. Okay, we'll allometry is continuing in order to create a new York right after the 01. And also through remember, you can use the coordinate system in order to create the arc of your choosing. However, you're also able to use this variation in conjunction by also using the restrictions that you can add to the cursor, which will imply that you can draw this art by using the orthographic mode, but also by using the polar tracking where the US in chief and the keyword, or just simply using the icons and the status bar. And as a quick side note, remember that you can use F on the keyboard in order to change between the orthographic mode and the polar tracking. Now once I graded the archae are going to see that by hovering the arc aggregate will consider this an ARG. And by selecting the archae are going to notice the same group as the other arcs. So this is a very useful tool that you can use in order to continue adding arcs to your drawing for a different appearance. Now you can use continue with another to recommend that you haven't the draw panel and these two recommend is the line. So as you can see what the description for Continue, you can actually use continue with the lines as well as with the arcs, which is send them a you can see after German line and then just simply using the option of Continue. Now once you're ready, join our one line. You can use US continue and will continue, will take place in the art right next to the last one that was created, even if it has been erased on the model space. And last but not least, something for you to notice. Since we want to talk about the directions of the arc, you are going to see attacks on the command line while drawing and art. And this text will let you know that you can use Control while drawing and art in order to switch the direction of the arm. So 1 second inadequate, they actually have a direction. Now remember you can use this heteronuclear change the direction. There is an arc that doesn't allow you to change the direction. And this one is a three-point arc. So the tree point part doesn't allow you to change the direction because it's actually created by using three points. So the arc to recommend is very personal, but also pretty useful when training an advocate. 23. The Rectangle and The Polygon Tools or Commands: Now the next tool recommend Mr. rectangle. The rectangle as the other tools recommends, that you can use in order to create your drawing can be found under Stroke panel. Now the rectangle, as the name implies, allows you to create a rectangle, my center points, or in another words, by using two references, the beginning, the end. Now this tool can also be found by using the search box and the many browser, which also implies they will be able to find these two recommend in a few different ways, such as, for example, the dynamic inputs. So we'll be able to use the dynamic inputs in order to search for the rectangle to recommend. And as well, you're going to see that there is a shortcut for the rectangle, which is our assembler Mu. He has a neighbor and CSN journaling. Now using the dynamic inputs will also imply they are able to use the command line in order to find the rectangle to recommend. Now as I mentioned before, when you use the rectangle tool, I recommend you need to references. So this references are going to be created by using the mouse or in another words by is on the left click on the mouse. So I'm going to select the first reference, and then I'm going to select the circle reference and the model space. Now this will also imply they are able to create a references by using the coordinates. So this means that you will be able to use the rectangle to recommend. Then we will be able to use the keyword in order to sell like the coordinates that you want to use in order to create a rectangle that also this will apply. Then you will be able to select a width if you want to select the second reference by only using the web. Now in this case, I'm going to create a rectangle by selecting the references using the coordinates. And once I graded a rectangle, I'm going to show you that if you hold the rectangle, you're going to be able to see that this rectangle is considered a polyline. And once you select the rectangle, you will be able to see the controls of the rectangle, or in another words, vagary of the rectangle. Now as well, you can use Control C in order to undo the creation the rectangle, or in order to undo that live in the rectangle. Nashville, something important for you to know. When you draw a rectangle, you are able to go back and forth between the orthographic mode and the polar tracking. Or in another words, that you can restrict them or move the cursor orthogonally are based on angles by you simply essentially from the keyword or by just simply using the icons on the status bar. However, some important for you to notice is that if you restrict the moment the cursor going to get the following result, which is actually not the result that you're looking for with a rectangle, even if torso is still considered a polyline. So even if you can do this, it doesn't mean there is useful. Nasa quick saner. Remember that you can use Escape on the keyboard in order to cancel out, to recommend. And depending on the tool they are using, Pitocin when you're doing with that to recommend the result that you get with escape will change. Now inadequate. You can create polylines that are a little bit more complex and the rectangle. So if you go to the rectangle tool, recommend, we are going to be able to find a drop them in order to sell equity is called polygon. Now this polygon will allow you to create a shape with more sides than the rectangle. Now these two recommend can actually be fun by using the menu browser, which also implies that you can find these two recommend in a few different ways. Now one of the ways in which you can find nice to implement this by also using the dynamic inputs. And we are looking for the polygon. You are going to notice that the polygon has a shortcut, which is ps and Peter, who are seen Oscar, ls, and Larry. Now this will also imply that you're able to search for the polygon to recommend while so you send the command line. So by using the command line, you will be able to select the polygon to recommend. Once they use the polygon tool or a command, you're going to notice that the first thing that you need to select is how many sites do you want? And after this, you will need to select the center of the polygon by using the mouse, or in another words, based on the left click on the mouse in order to select the center of the polygon within the model space. And Wednesday you do this, we're going to see two options in order to grade the polygon inscribed inCircle or circumscribed about circle. Now in this case, I'm just going to stick with the first option in order to show you the result. Now the polygon business you'll notice has shape created by seven sites that surround the center of the polygon based on the radius. And as well, you can use the polygon combined with the coordinates, which implies the one using the polygon tool recommend you are able to select the center of the polygon by using the coordinate system. And also this implies that you're able to sell the radius of the polygon might type in a value on the keyboard. Now please remember that when you use the coordinates, you will need to use the comma in order to separate the value of x and the value of y. Now with this in mind, you're able to use the polygon with a different number of size. But also you will be able to use Shift on the keyboard in order to change the restriction of the cursor orthogonally are based on an angle. So this means that you will be able to create a polygon by using the orthographic mode or by using the polar tracking, which is something that you can change in real time bow. So using the status bar as well, once you create a polygon and you're going to notice that if you hover the polygon, you will be able to see that this polygon is consider a polyline. And also if you selected, you are going to see the controls that the polygon has when another words, vagary of the polygon. Now as well, if we use the other option that you have at the moment, you create a polygon circumscribed about circle, we are going to see that the result is essentially the same. Power is going to be an, a slight difference when drawing the polygon this way. Now as you notice, you can also change the size of the polygons before drawing the polygon. Now this is very subtle. So what I'm going to do, instead, I'm going to erase both of these polygons. And then what I'm going to do is actually create a polygon by using the coordinate system in order to be very precise. And then I'm going to select the option inscribing circle. And I'm going to select the following radius. And then I'm going to create another polygon, Mason the same coordinates that I use, and also by using the same radius. So you can get almost the same. So now first glance photo, the polygons are pretty much the same, even though the distance to the center appears to be different. And now I'm just going to use another to recommend in order to show you the difference. And as you may have noticed, every time you draw a polygon, then they embarrass mention is the circle. So the other two recommend that I'm going to use is the circle. So I'm going to create a circle by using the coordinates and also by using the same radius. And once that I have done this, we're going to see the relationship that the polygon has with a circle where there is inscribing circle or since prescribe, how about a circle? So the polygons are very useful when creating a specific shapes. So with all this in mind, we are going to be able to create objects by using the same concepts are the same system that is used for the polylines. However, the results are going to be a little bit different because we are going to be grading objects that have specific shapes. 24. The Ellipse Tool or Command: And now we're going to talk about the ellipse. The ellipse tool I recommend can actually be found a 100 drawer panel, which will also imply that you can keep your center search box on the manage browser in order to search for this to recommend. Now once they, you search for the ellipse, you're going to see that you have a few options in order to create an ellipse, but also in order to use the Ellipse. And at the same time you can use the dynamic inputs in order to search for the ellipse to recommend, which also implies T will be able to see if there is a shortcut that you can use for the base to recommend. Now in this case, the short-run Philips, ECS and network lx and Larry. And last but not least, you can also give you send the command line in order to search for the ellipse to recommend. And once you set like this to recommend, you are going to be able to create an ellipse pretty much the same way that you can create a circle. So this means that you will select the center of the ellipse and then the radius of the ellipse. However, with the air leaves, you will need to sell like a second radius then is going to determine the shape of the ellipse. All of these can be done by just simply use on the left click on the mouse in order to select the references or points that I use in order to create the ellipse. Now you can create an ellipse by using the coordinate system they have inadequate, which also implies that you will be able to determine the radius of the ellipse by just simply using the keyword. So this is a little bit more precise than you simply use on the left click on the mouse. Now as well, you can always use shift from the keyboard in order to go back and forth between the two ways in which you can restrict the cursor. So this means that you will be able to go back and forth between the orthographic mode and the product tracking, which is something that you can do, also using the icons and the status bar. Now once you finish their lives, you're going to see very few hovered. The ellipse advocate will recognize this shape has an ellipse. And once you selected, you're going to see the great men is greater with the ellipse. Now, as I mentioned before, when you search for the ellipse, we are going to find different ways in order to create an ellipse. So the other way in which you can create an ellipse is not biased and center, but by using axis. And now you can find this option by searching once again for the ellipse, which is available on the draw panel, simply isn't a drop-down right next to ellipse. Notice is one of the assumptions or barriers that you can actually find by sending money process from my specifically, you will be able to use the search box and the menu browser in order to search probably access. And now this doesn't mean that you can find this option by using the dynamic inputs. Which will also imply we are now going to be able to find this option even by using the command line. So because of this, you're only able to use the money browser and the drop them right next to where it says son lives in order to have direct access to the assumption. Now once they use this option, you are going to notice that the users pretty much the same. However, in this case, once you sell like, you're going to see that the second value that you select, his narratives, but a larger distance between this part of the lips and the first axis that was created. Now this is considered a second axis and both of the successor gradient based on the main two distances, may have on the ellipse, which refers to the particle distance and the horizontal distance. Now this all means that if you want more precision for ingredient the ellipse by using axis n, you will be able to use the coordinate system by using the keyword, which also implies that you can use a keyword in order to select the value, the one I use, purple to this axis. And last but not least, when you use the Ellipse to recommend by using access and you will be able to go back and forth between restricted and the moment the cursor orthogonally are based on the product tracking. So once again, you can do this by essentially from the keyboard or by just simply using the icons and the status bar. And as you notice, if you use access and aggrecan will see this as an ellipse. And if you select the ellipse and you will notice that the group remains the same. Nonetheless, panelists, if you use disrupt them and you will be able to find specific variant or option in order to use the same counsel when you use premier lives in order to create a shape. And what I'm referring to is called the ellipse are now the ellipse our allows you to create a section of the ellipse and sensor able to find this by using the drop them right next to where it says ellipse. And you will also be able to find this by you send them any browser. So by using the search box, you will be able to find the ellipse are, while searching for the ellipse. However, we are not going to be able to find these two recommend by using the dynamic inputs, which also implies me you won't be able to find these two or command by using the command line. So in this case, I'm just going to drop them right next door it says ellipse. So after selecting the ellipse are, you're going to notice integration of this art works pretty much the same way as great in an ellipse. How you are going to determine the segment of the ellipse or Ruby, or by using once again the left click on the mouse. And this implies that you can also use the coordinate system. We're using this to recommend. So while using this to recommend, I can select a reference or a pointer is used in order to create the ellipse are by using the coordinate system or my specifically by using the keyword, which will also imply they are able to use the keyword in order to select the values that you want to use. And it's used to determine the result of this, to recommend. And after grading this art, I'm just going to create another ellipse are inadequate. Show you how easily you can create an ellipse are, but at the same time, how different can it be one from the other? Now remember, you're upgrading its center. You're also going to be able to shift from the chemo in order to go back and forth between the US and the Polar Tracking product cryptographic mom, just remembering center now you can also due by Sunday, I constantly started sperm. And as a quick signer, if you hover any of these objects, you're going to see that aggrecan will consider p or as an ellipse. And this is the reason why they are understanding drop them, which is something that you can notice. Also by selecting both of these arcs in order to save the query, there is greater by the ellipse. So the ellipse is an alternative to the circle. But also since the result is very different, there are going to be cases in which you might want to use the Ellipse more than the circle. 25. Introduction to the Hatch, Gradient and Boundary Tool or Command: Now inadequate. You're going to find that there is a two recommend that you can use in order to create a representation for a particular elements are in order to create a presentation for a specific purposes. Now these two recommend is called hedge. So in order to show you the hatch to recommend, I'm going to create a rectangle. And then I'm going to show you how you can find the hatch to recommend. So as you notice, you can find these two recommend under Draw panel, which also implies that you can use the money browser in order to search for the hedge to recommend. So you're going to see that you have different ways in which you can find this to recommend. So this will imply that you can use the dynamic inputs in order to search for these two arguments. And as a quick sign-up and the shortcut for this to recommend is suggesting what they'll. Now this all implies that you can also use the command line in order to search, cross hatch to recommend. Now once you select the hatch to recommend, you will need to select the boundary that is going to be used in order to determine the boundaries of the hedge. So in this case, I'm just going to use the rectangle in order to show you how you create the hedge. Now you're going to see the upgrading the hatch. You will have options and the user interface. Now we are going to see these options on a specific section, former hedge. So in this case I'm going to click Race says Close Hatch Creation. And once you have done this, we are going to see for the hatches already graded based on the boundaries of the rectangle. And if you select the hedge, are going to see the other hedge, but also have the hedge relates to the rectangle when it comes to the boundary. Now in this case, I'm going to delete the hatch and are going to use the drop-down right next to the hedge in order for you to see that besides the hedge, you're able to create a gradient. Now you can use disrupt them in order to select the gradient or you can search product gradient may send them any browser. So you will be able to notice that the gradient can actually be found the same way as the hedge, which will imply that you can use dynamic inputs in order to search for the gradient, but also in order for you to see if there is a shortcut that you can use in order to create a gradient. So with this, we are going to be able to find that the shortcut for gradient is gs and George Mason, David. And last but not least, you're able to use the command line in order to search for the gradient. Now once you find the gradient, you just need to select in order to use it. And right away you're going to see that the gradient is greater, pretty much the same way as they hatch. So this will mean that you will need to have a boundary for the gradient the same way that you need a boundary for the Hajj. And in order to finish the gradient, you just need to click where it says Close Hatch Creation. Now once I graded the gradient, I'm going to select the gradient. So you can see that when it comes to aggrecan, this is considered a hedge. So the gradient is actually a pepper hedge. And as well under drop them right next to the hatch, you are going to see that you can select the boundary. Now this means that you will be able to select a boundary that you want to use in order to create a hedge. Now you can also find the boundary by you send them any browser. So with this in mind, you will be able to search the boundary by using the menu browser, but also by Sandy dynamic inputs, which also implies that you will be able to search for a shortcut. For that is to recommend if there is any. This case. The shortcut for this to recommend is BS. And boy, who was an Oscar. And once again, you're able to use the command line in order to search for this to recommend. Now once you find the boundary, you will just need to select this to recommend in order to have this window. Now this window is called the boundary creation. So on this boundary creation window, you will be able to select the boundary, and after this, adequate will automatically select the rectangle has the boundary of the hedge. Now this window is also going to be covered throughout the course. However, this is something that you can change while creating a hedge. So I'm just going to create a few more rectangles in order for you to see that you can actually do something like this by using the first few options that we have on what is called the Hatch Creation panel. Now this doesn't mean there are more options that you can use when you sum this window and the rest of the assumptions that will also be covered throughout the course. Or when you sync options such as Remo in order to accelerate boundaries. But also how you can use the selection options in order to select the frame boundaries when grading a hedge, as well as basic options in order to change the pattern. And also as you notice, MATLAB more options that will allow you to modify the hedge in very different ways because they hatch and lambda two Cray, different representations that you can use while grading your drawing and the short presentations are actually based on your specialty. 26. The Construction Line and The Ray Tools or Commands: And now we're going to see what is called the construction line. Now the construction line is pretty much aligned that allows you to have a visual reference at all times. Now the special reference extends throughout the model space, and that is the reason why this is called high construction line. Now you can find this slide has any of these tools recommends from the draw panel, which will also imply, or you can also search for the construction line by a sentimental browser. Now since you can also use the menu browser, you are also going to be able to find the construction line by extended dynamic inputs. Now when you send the dynamic inputs, you will be able to see if there is a shortcut that you can use in order to create a construction line. Now in this case you're going to see a, you don't have an AC short circuit for the construction line. However, sending for you to notice is that when you're searching for the construction line by using the dynamic inputs and also by using the command line, you are going to see that the icon for the construction line is different. And this is because you actually can create a construction line, but also a ray. Now the construction line works in both directions, while the array works in only one direction. And that is the reason why the icon appears the following way. Now once you find this tool argument to snippy user in order to create a construction line. Now when you're drawing the construction line, we are going to see that you're able to draw multiple lines based on your selection bias on the left click on the mouse and the model space. So this means that you will be able to create multiple lines with the same origin, both directions. And this will also imply that you can use the coordinate system in order to add more precision when drawing the construction line. So you can determine the origin of the construction lines by using the keyword, or in another words, by the center coordinate system. Now while trying the construction line, we are also going to see that you will be able to place the construction line anywhere you want, but also by using the coordinate system. Now in this case, instead of using the coordinate system and just going to show you, we are able to use other options they have available when drawing objects. So I'm just going to select the construction line once again. And I'm going to use the coordinate system just to select the origin. And then I'm going to use the orthographic mode as well as the polar tracking. So you can see how you can use polar tracking and also the orthographic mode enteric to draw a construction line. And as a quick sign-up, remember that you can go back and forth between the orthographic mode and the polar tracking by essentially from the keyword. And also where you can actually do this by using the icons on the status bar, which also implies that you can use the angles that you have by default, the polar tracking. In a cyclic signer, this is Santa Maria can change by clicking where it says tracking settings. Now once you create a construction line, you can hover in order to see how aggrecan will categorize this line. So as you notice, this is considered next line. And once you select them, you will be able to see the grip that is created by the construction line. And as I mentioned before, the construction line works in both directions. So we are going to be able to draw a line in just one direction by using the array to recommend. Now you can use the rate to recommend by using once again the draw panel, which will also imply that you can use to write, to recommend by searching for it is sunday, monday browser. Now in this case, you're going to see that the way to recommend a sexually available when using the dynamic inputs, which will also imply that you will be able to search for the ray to recommend power. So you send the command line. Now regardless of which way you find the way to recommend, you will need to select the in-order to use it. Now once the cell like them, you're going to see that the result is pretty much the same one as the construction line. However, you're going to see that the line only appears on the direction that you select bystander left click on the mouse. Now, although this implies that you can also use this to recommend based on the coordinate system. So this will imply that you will be able to select the origin of the line by using the keyword, but also you will be able to determine the direction. Also you set the coordinate system. Now in this case, what I'm going to do is actually use this to recommend in order to show you once again that you can actually use the orthographic mode and the polar tracking in order to determine the direction of this line, we just remember you can actually do the exposure century from the keyword, but also by using the icons on the status bar. And as well, some important for you to know is that when you are creating a construction line array and the marrow space, you will be able to use other objects on the model space as a reference. So this means that you will be able to create the construction lines and also the race before you draw anything on the model space. But at the same time you will be able to use them by using a cell reference objects on the model space. And this is because you draw the construction line and the re, pretty much the same way as you draw a line. And this is reflect on the fact that even though this is considerably, once you select the array, we are going to see a grip similar to the line. So in another words, this blue controls that we are going to see later on will allow you to modify the array. 27. The Point, The Multiple Points, The Divide and The Measure Tools or Commands: And now we're going to see a symbol to recommend using other takeaway points, and this one is called multiple points. Now you can search for this to recommend on the draw panel, which means that you can also use the menu browser in order to search photos to recommend. Now you can find these two recommend using the dynamic inputs. Which means that you will be able to find these two recommend also by using the command line. However, something for you to notice is the ones that you search in different ways. You are also going to be able to find at different to recommend Periscope point. Now once you start using this to recommend, you are going to be able to see that you will be able to create a single point on the monospace. However, the multiple points to recommend history a little bit different, tends to recommend because sterile gradient 1, you will be able to create multiple points and the model space. So it will be a little bit different. They use at multiple points from the user, the point to recommend. However, whether they use the multiple points to recommend, or whether they use the multiple points to recommend. We are going to be using the same methods in order to place the points, because you're still placing points on the model space. But also, you will be able to notice when you will be able to use the coordinate system in order to place this points anywhere in the model space. So these points can actually be used as a reference in order to draw other objects fundamental space. And because you're only drawing one single point on the MRO space, and you will notice that this is another to recommend that is not affected by the restrictions of the cursor. Meaning, but it doesn't matter if you use the orthographic mode or the polar tracking because we're only placing points and the model space. And once you're ready greater than points, you are going to be able to forward the points so you can see their category, but also once you select them, here are going to be able to see the grape that is greater for the points. When you're also able to please points by using other tools, recommends one of these tools or commands, this is called the Buy. Now that the vital argument as the other tool circumvents can actually be found under Draw panel, which implies that you will be able to find these two arguments by using the many browser that dynamic inputs and last but not least, the command line and also was searching for this to recommend. You're going to find that there is a shortcut for that is to recommend which is the assembled beam and sending the NBS and Victor. However, in order to use the divide to recommend, we actually need another to recommend in order to create an object and the model space. So I'm going to be used and aligned to recommend in order to draw a line. And then I'm going to select the device to recommend. Now once you use testify to recommend, you need to select the Object menu went to divide. And once you select them, you will need to select the number of segments in which you went to divide the line. And once you enter this palace and the keyword where you're going to get as a result are points that are going to be created based on the number of segments that you selected. In order to illustrate this, I can erase the line in order to show you the points. But also I can use Control C in order to select only the points. And you're going to notice they are going to get FI segments divided by four points. In order to illustrate this a little bit better, you can select the line will select under points, so you can see the grip of the points, but also the line. Now in this case, I will erase the following points in order to use this to argument. Once again, how in this case, I will change the number of segments in order for you to see the result. So I'm just going to select the line that I want to use in order for your satellite to recommend. So you can see that the number of points, the white gray, or based on the number of segments that were selected just by looking at that text. But you haven't up at the command line, which as you remember, will allow you to see the number of points that were selected. But also it will allow you to see the number of points to whatever lead it. If you delete the points by using, for example, the keyword. Now these two recommend is pretty useful when you want to create multiple references, whether actually the right on the line. However, there is another use for the bees to recommend centenary space and Santander we're going to see later on. So once they use the Debye to recommend and then you select the object that you want to divide. You can use the down arrow inadequate select the option for blood. And after this we're going to see the uniqueness, select the name of the block B1 to insert. So once we get to the blocks, you will be able to come back to the lesson about this to recommend in order for you to try inserting a blog. And also through remember, you can use your options on these tools recommends by also use under shortcuts, which means that you can use the shortcut, which is B as in boy. But also you can use simply use the command line in order to use this option once you're already using petabyte to recommend nasa quick signer, when you use the right to recommend, you're going to see that the points are grading within the length of the object. Or in another words, that you are now going to create points on both ends of the object, which in this case it's a line. And this is because by default, advocate already allows you to use the endpoints as a reference. So in aggregate, there is no need to create more references at both ends. How are you can just simply use multiple points in order to create points on both ends of the line. Now the divide to recommend has an alternatively you can use in order to do almost the same thing. And this one is called measure. Now the measure to recommend pretty much the same thing. However, it does a little bit differently. Now you can find these two arguments on the draw panel, which will also imply that you can also find these two. Recommend you send them any browser. Now since you are able to use the menu browser, it will also able to find these two recommend buying center dynamic inputs. Now you can also see if there is a shortcut for that is to recommend while searching for these two recommend. Now in this case, the shortcut for measure is MSM married, he has a network. Now once you find this to recommend, you will notice that you need an object that you can measure. So in this case, I'm going to use once again the line to recommend in order to create an object in which I can use the measure to recommend. So once the greater the line, I'm going to use the measure to recommend in order to select the lender I want to use in order to create these points. And in this case, as you notice, I'm using the line as a reference. And once that I have done this and just simply going to erase the line in order for you to see the result. Now in this case, as you noticed, the result is going to be just 1. So I'm going to use Control C In order for me to show you how the use of this to recommend is actually intended. So the first thing that we're going to do after select and a measure to recommend is select the object that I want to measure. And then instead of using the line as a reference and just simply type in a value in order for you to see that there is a point created based on the value direct selected, which will determine the distance between the start of the reference, at the end of the reference. Or in another words, in the store at the placement of the points and the placement of the first. We just remember this is something that you can select based on the lightness of reference. And then the second will have the same distance or a gap between the startup object that was selected all the way up to the first. So this means that what I did at the beginning, we'll select the entire object as the distance milliwatts use in order to create the first. Now in order to show you how accurate is this to recommend, I will be using once again, the line to recommend in order to draw a new line on top of it. However, the length of this line is going to have the same value that I use one listened the measure to recommend. And then I'm just going to erase the first line in order to show you the rest of countermeasure to recommend. And I can do this once again in order to show you that you have the same option where you have when you send that to recommend. So this means that you will be able to insert blocks while using this to recommend if you have a block within your file, but also if they want to insert. So this is something that I'm not going to do right now. I must have the right to recommend you are able to use this option also using the same shorter, which is B as in boy, which also implies that you can use the command line in order to use the assumption. So now I'm just going to delete this line in order to show you how this tool circumvents at the same time. And starting first with the multiple points, two arguments and men continuum by showing you that the right to recommend and the measure to recommend. So as you notice, you will be able to create points in different ways by just simply creating the points and the model space or by using a cell reference, an object that is already on the model space where there is by an exact division or by using a specific measurement. Now the points that you could have also something very particular regardless of the way that you create these points. Or in another words, when you use the multiple points, the Debye horrible measure. And that is the fact that you can actually modify their planes of the points. And in order to do this, you actually use that to recommend telescope point star. So if you use the money parser, you will be able to try to find these two recommend. However, in this case, if you try to type the name of this to recommend, you won't be able to find it. So in this case, what I'm going to use is the dynamic inputs. And by using the dynamic inputs and won't be able to find these two, recommend the representation of the points. And as well, you're going to see that there is a shortcut, spears and Peter, followed by type, which also implies that you can find these two recommend also using the command line. Now once you find these two recommend, you will need to select in order to open a window. Now, this window is called points down. Now once you have this window, you will be able to select a representation for the points. And once you select them, you just have to click on Okay, in order to see the result. So you're able to use this window in order to change the presentation, are to be startled the points at any point by just simply selecting another style. But also, you are able to use this window in order to change the appearance of this study is elected. In another words, you will be able to select the point size, which you can do it relative to the screen. But also you can use absolute units in order to determine the size of the points. So whichever way you do it, you will be able to see that the size of the points will actually change. Now relative to the screen only changes the size based on the Zoom. However, if you change the size of the points to absolute units, you will notice that there's some will not affect the size of the points. Now in this case, I'm going to open this window once again in order to return the values back to default, because I'm not going to change the style of the points until we actually get to the section of the course in which I'm going to show you how to present her represent your project. Merozoite norepi, avoid any confusion and the other lessons of the course. And last but not least, as a quick reminder, remember very few social welfare point. You are not going to get a multiple points, but you're going to get, is the point to recommend. And also the sugar production by his tears and Baby, Einstein in the BSN Victor. What are the shortcut for measure? His semester, Mary, he has a network. And that both the divide to recommend and the measure to recommend require an existing object in order for you to Dubai or measure. 28. The Revision Clouds Tools or Commands: And now I'm just going to show you another tool recommend. Now these two recommend is sexually use in order to annotate your project. And this one is called derivation club. Now derivation Cloud can actually be found by using the draw panel Amanda tool circumvents that are hidden away. But also you can find the revision club by using the menu browser. So you will be able to search for the Russian Cloud by using the menu browser. Which also implies that you can search for these two argument medicine dynamic inputs. And also you will be able to see if there is a shortcut that you can use in order to use this to recommend. Now in this case, there is not a shortcut. However, you can actually use the command line in order to search for these two or recommend. Now once you find the revision club, just need to select in order to use it. And once you use, you're going to see that by default, navigation clamp works pretty much the same way as the rectangle, which implies by you select two references, mice on the left leg on the mouse in order to draw a rectangle. Now the borders of the rectangle will represent the fact that this is a revision club and also sends this to recommend. And it's pretty much a rectangle. And you can actually use the coordinate system in order to determine we started with Cloud and also the end of this club by just simply using the coordinate system or in another words, like type in the palace on the keyboard where you send a coma. So you can use the coordinate system. And as well, we will be able to use your topographic mode or the polar tracking in electorate Shri lemma, the cursor. So this will imply that you will be able to use chief and the keyword in order to go back and forth between the orthographic mode and the Polar Tracking which is underneath. You can do by just simply send the icons, probably start with Spark. And once you've created the revision club, you're going to see that advocate labels this cloud has red clamp, which stands for revision club. And also you will be able to see, once you select this revision clouds like rebellious graded by this to recommend. And also sensory able to use the rectangle has a base in order to create a revision clouds, then you are going to be able to use other shapes. Intellectual do the same. So in this case, if you subtract them further revision clouds, we are going to sit there. You're able to select the Polygonal permission column, which is going to allow you to create a provision cloud in a different way. Now you're able to do this as well by searching for flow and the many browser, which will also imply that you can search for toleration Cloud in a few different ways. So just for example, the dynamic inputs, which will let you know once again, they have a shorter products to recommend. But also you can use the command line in order to do the same. However, once you select this to recommend, you are going to see that the default provision, Columbia, you're going to have history rectangular revision club. So instead of using the options for the time being, I'm just going to slip drop them right next to the agora for revision clouds in search for the polygonal provision column. And the first thing we are going to notice is that you will be able to draw a polygon shape with our select the name and edges, which means that you will be using the same process that you use when drawing a polyline. So this will imply they won't be able to turn the polygon aggravation by freely select and the references for points that you want to use in order to create this club. But you will be able to use the coordinate system, but also that you will be able to use the coordinate system in order to determine the references or points and are going to be used in order to create this cloud. So you can create and a specific revision based on the same process that you use when drawing a polyline. Nasa quick sign-up, even though the name of the revision club is the polygonal provision cloud, you're going to see that the way that you create the regression flow, It's actually going to be based on Napoleon. And last but not least, if you use the polygonal revision plan, you are going to see, you will be able to see that this is one of the few tools or commands that are not affected by the orthographic model or the polar tracking. I'm trying to say history for your strip from the cable, you won't be able to go back and forth between the polar tracking and cartographic mode. However, this won't affect how you draw distribution. So distribution cloud is pretty specific when it comes to how you doin. Man, at the same time, once you finished admiration club, you will be able to hold the aeration cloud heme leprosy that is considered the same as the other revision club. And at the same time, if you said like them, you are going to be able to see the grid like rectory scraping by this type of revision plan. Now last but not least, in order to create a revision plan, they also have a way in order to really use my left click on the mouse. And this one is called freehand revision club. Now you can find this tool or command by using the draw panel, but also you can use to manage browser in order to search for that is to recommend. Now once you find that you will be able to select them, because as the polygonal revision clouds, you won't be able to find them by either using the dynamic inputs or by using the command line. So this will imply that you won't find a shortcut. But also the 1 second, the wine club where you are going to find is the rectangular revision clouds. So instead of using this cloud, I'm just going to use tetrapylon once again in order to select the free hand revision clouds. And then Wednesday you do this, you're going to notice a few things. One of them is that you will be able to really use the mouse integrate Procreate is glam. The second is the ones that you are close to the beginning of the cloud. Aggrecan will automatically close the globe. The fact that you're able to create this club may freely use the left click on the mouse doesn't mean that you can no longer use the coordinate system in order to select the origin of this startup glam meddlesome, where you want to continue the ration Cloud by using the coordinate system. However, the sort of defeats the purpose of using the free hand. So this is one of the tool circumvents and which may avoid using the coordinate system. And as you remember, once you get close to the star of the revision Cloud, automatically particle will finish the column. Member freehand will allow you to grade different shapes that like just to your needs. Our distance, I mean, there is no consider the same as the other revision clumps, which is something that you can notice once you hold of them. And 1 second, if you select this clouds, you will be able to see that there is graded by this to recommend. So 1 second derivation clamps pretty useful when annotating your project, which means we're going to break up this to recommend once we get to the section in which I'm going to show you how we are going to present or represent your project. 29. The Helix Tool or Command: Now in aggregate, you will find that there is a two argument that you can use, including as well as intriguing. However, since we haven't seen how we are able to work on at 3D workspace. And just going to focus on how you're able to use this to recommend what a monospace insulin today, and this one is called the helix. Now as the other tool circumvents were able to use this tool or Command sandy drop anode, which will imply that you can also use the menu browser in order to search for this to recommend. Now the same time, if you don't wanna use the menu browser, you can also use the dynamic inputs in order to search for this to recommend, but also, so you can see if there is a shortcut that you can use for the bees to recommend. Now in this case there is none and a specific token for Alex to recommend. However, you can also use the command line in order to search for the elixir to recommend. And once you find the store recommend, you just need the selected based on the left click on the mouse or by using the keyword. And once they have done this, we're going to say at the process very similar to true and a circle, which means that the first thing that you will need to select the center of the helix, and then you just need to select the first radius of the Alex. However, you're going to see that you are able to select a second radius in order to draw the legs to the outside or the inside after first radius. And once they select all these values by using the left leg on the mouse, and you will be able to select the high. Now in this case, I will select zeros, the value for the height by using the keyword to make sure that they Alec's estate on today. And I mentor, you can actually draw the ellipse by just using the left leg on the mouse. You can also draw the Alex bystander coordinate system. So this will mean that you will be able to use the coordinate system in order to select the center, but also the radius. However, you can also select their land by just simply using the keyword, which also implies we are able to select the value for the second radius by also using the keyword. And once again, the value for the height will be 0. And as well, since we are able to use the coordinate system, you will be able to use other option in order to draw the legs. Or in another words, I will be able to use the orthographic model and the polar tracking in order to draw the legs, which is under me, you can do by essentially from the keyboard. And also, you can also use the icons and the storage part. Now once you draw the ellipse, you will be able to coordinate their lives in order to see the aggregate uses the category of air leaks for this tool argument for why your grade by you sum these two arguments. And once you select the air leaks, you're going to be able to see that there is greater for the ellipse. Now as many of these tools recommends, near lakes will actually have an additional option that you can use while drawing the legs. Now this option is called the diameter. So once you draw the ellipse, you will be able to use the down arrow in order to select this option. Now the diameter will allow you to draw an ellipse, radius and diameter instead of the radius by using the arrows symbol, the keyword, or by your center left click on the mouse. And this will not change the fact that you can select the high after creating the ellipse. So once again, I'm going to use the value of 0 prototype. And they might go into draw the legs are using the same option at this time, I will be using the shortcut for disruption, which is the label. And this is an option that you can use in order to use a diameter and during analytics. And as you may have noticed, this option can only be selected after you start drawing the ellipse. And this will also imply minister of the shortcut. You can also use the command line. And in order to drive this a list by using the option for diameter. And as a quick signer, since we are able to select this option where the first radius, and also with the second radius. This will mean that you can select this option independently on both of these steps in which you select the radius of the ellipse. However, regardless of the way they use this option, you will still need to select 0 as the value for the high if you want their lives to remain on today. So the elites and lumps integrate a very specific object and then you can use entirely as well as entry.
