1. Introduction: Hi guys, welcome to my joint goals. In this course, we're going to draw some funny cartoon faces and am going to use some basic shapes like overs, n triangles to draw these cartoon phases. So let's get started. I'm so excited to teach you this course as you inside. 2. Character Faces Using Oval: I get the first lesson. I'm gonna teach you how to draw the character feels using oval. Let get started. First, draw an oval. Drawing very light like so. I'm drawing it a little darker so that you'll be able to see it. But you could draw it very light. Then I'm going to divide this over into two halves by drawing a line vertically through the center. And then horizontally as well. These are just guidelines, so it has to be very light and we're going to erase them anyways. I'm going to draw two eyes on the horizontal line and to nose on the vertical line, and a mouth right in the middle. Let's give a name for the character that we're drawing. I'm going to call him Tom. Let's give some personality to Tom. Like some hairstyle. I have now drawn the top of the hair. And let's run a year through the years. And we'll be right below this line. And let's draw the neck on either side of the vertical line. And then there are Ambrose. And we have to draw them bottom line of the hair. So let's go ahead and do it. I'm just making a curve on both sides and kind of joining it. K And I think the cheek Castaway a little tailored for Tom. And let me erase these guidelines are the lines in the center that we draw and the curve on the top. And I also think the i and i plus are too high. So I'm correcting it. And I'm drawing a smaller Eisenstein. Now I have a raised most of the lines that we need as well. So let's go ahead and draw them. And now let's draw the lines. Lines. Okay, now I'm going to draw DOM again and get ready to draw with me. Okay, let's start by drawing an oval. Draw the oval light. Because we may have to erase it later. And draw the guidelines now. A horizontal and a vertical line right in the middle. Okay? And now draw the eye is on the horizontal line. Let's draw the eyebrows as well. Draw the nodes on the vertical line and the mouth right in the middle. Now we're going to draw the hair. There's a curve here. And then another curve that goes like that and bends a little bit and joints. And also drawing the bottom of the head line. It's just three curves. Have the simple one. Go ahead and do that. And draw the years below the horizontal line. And to make. And now let's make a little bit narrower. Slightly narrower. Perfect. Now we'd have to use those guidelines. And and let's go ahead and draw the outline again. Because we have a raised most of it as well. Okay, we can now use your Blackberry and draw the outline for one picture. Okay, now take a closer look at practice drawing Tom a few times. And then let's get started with the next phase. Okay, now we're going to draw another feet. This is going to be an orbital again, but this is an overlap. You have to draw like this. Not to vertically longitude. This overlies horizontally elongated. Okay? Just like how we choose the horizontal and vertical lines for Tom's waves, we're going to draw the same horizontal and vertical lines in the middle for this face as well. Now let's draw the eyes and the horizontal line to nose on the vertical line and a smile. Maybe this person has a broader smile. Then it's going to be a girl. So I'm gonna name current Jamie. And let's draw some hair for her. She has a short hair maybe. Okay. And the years that has to be drawn just below the horizontal line, maybe draw some eyelashes for her jaw, the link. Now go ahead and use those guidelines. Let's go ahead and use it to draw the outline. Okay, now get ready to draw with me. Like so. Has to be light and guidelines has to be drawn light as well because we are erasing it at the end. We don't need to leave any mark step, so it has to be light, divided horizontally and vertically like so. Draw the eyes, the nose, and the mouth. Okay. Now let's draw the hairline like that and like that. And then the top of the hair. And then let's draw her ears at the bottom of this line. Kind of correcting her. She has a round white phase. Now let's go ahead and erase those guidelines. Now let's draw the outlines that you accidentally raised. Let's draw some lines. Oh, we forgot to draw the April's continuing. Let's go ahead and draw that. Perfect. In the next lesson, we're going to learn how to draw character faces using triangle shapes. As you there, bye. 3. Character Faces Using Triangle: Hi, gets, Welcome to the new lesson. In this lesson we're going to learn two or more phases, and we're going to draw it using triangle. Let get started. Let's first draw a triangle. Okay? Now as we did in the previous lecture, we're going to draw the guidelines, the horizontal and vertical lines in the middle. Okay, that's approximately in the middle. Now, let's draw the eye is on the horizontal line. The nose and the mouth. Let's call this guy Lucan's. We do need those sharp corners, so we're going to erase those corners and make them grounded. Kind of bland. Great. Now I am going to erase the top part of this phase. I'm gonna draw a funny hair for him. That looks like draw those lines. Okay. Let's draw the eye pros. And we're also going to draw the years. Let's go ahead and erase those guidelines. Great. Now let's go ahead and use the black pen and draw the outline. Okay, now I'm going to draw Luke is again and get ready to travel with me. Let's draw the triangle and draw the horizontal and vertical line through the middle. And let's draw the eyes, the nose, and the mouth. Now, I'm going to draw the hair. Let's erase the top of the triangle like so. And draw the hairline. And I'm going to erase the corners and make them blend like so. And now let's go ahead and erase those guidelines. Draw the eye bros. Draw the years. Let's also draw some lines for his hair. And that's it. Practice and look at a few more times. And let's draw the next phase. For the next place, I'm going to use the inverted triangle datas and upside down triangle. So let us first draw the triangle. Like so. And I'm going to draw the horizontal and vertical line through the middle. And as always, we'll start with our eyes. On the horizontal line, nose on the vertical line. Maybe I want to draw the mode like this kind of smoking. Let's draw the ears. It has made traunches below the horizontal line, then the neck. Now let's go ahead and erase those guidelines. And I'm also erasing the top line completely because I'm going to draw the hair there. And also I don't want a sharp edge for his chin. I wanted around the chin, so let's go ahead and erase that and draw a rounder chin. Great. Now let's draw the hair. He has a curly hair, so I'm drawing legged cloud. He has curly hair. So I'm drawing like a cloud and some coli lines inside. Okay. I think I'm going to correct the chin a little bit. Let's do that to OK. Now that looks good. I'm gonna call this guy Jeremy. Jeremy has a very thin phase and curly hair. Let's go ahead and use a black pen and draw his outline. Great. Now let's try Jeremy again and let me draw the triangle. The horizontal and vertical lines. On the horizontal line, nose and the mouth. Let's try the years just below the horizontal line on the side and also the neck. Now go ahead and erase the guidelines. And also the top line of the triangle. Now draw the hair like a cloud. Then corrected chin. Around the chin and not a very sharp one. Great curved lines inside the hair. Now you can use your black paint and draw the outline as well. You could practice drawing Jeremy and Luke has a few times. And in the next video, I'm gonna D2 to more faces. I'll see you there. 4. More character Faces: Hi. In this lesson we're going to see how to draw two more faces. I'm going to use a square shape for the first phase. So let's get started. First, I am drawing a square like so. And I don't need those corners to be so sharp, so I'm going to erase them and make them around it. Like so. And as always, let's go ahead and draw the horizontal and vertical line through the centre. And on the horizontal line and drawing the ives, I'm trying the IM pros. And on the vertical line in the nose and the mouth in the middle. Let's draw the neck. And then the years. Just below the horizontal line. Ok, let's call him Mike. And let give Mike some hair. He does not have much hair. He just has some hair on the sides, like so. Use the black pen. Now I'm going to draw. You can draw with me. Let's draw the guidelines using the horizontal and vertical lines. I'm now drawing the eyes, di prose, drawing the nose and the mouth. Let us also draw the years and the neck. Now let's go ahead and erase those corners and make them blunt. Now let us erase those guidelines. Great. Finally, let's draw the hair, the hair on both sides. So practice drawing a few times. And let's start with the next pays. Now, I'm going to draw this phase with the help of a pot shape, a shape that looks like a park. I'll show you how to draw a part. It has a curve on the either sides. Maybe you can first draw a circle and then try and kind of showing them like so, you'll get a port. Okay, now, let us draw the horizontal and vertical line. Enter the eyes, the eyebrows, nose, and the mouth, and draw the neck. And now I'm going to try the hair and making some curves like so. This is going to be a little code. So let's go ahead and erase those guidelines. Let me go ahead and do that. Now let us use the black pen outline. Let's draw it. Using the guidelines. Draw a vertical line through the middle. Draw the eyes, eyebrows, nose, and the mouth. And am trying the years now. I think I should correct the shape a little bit. And finally the hair. You can draw this up to your imagination. I hope you were able to practice the phases. In the next course, we're going to learn how to draw these expressions for these cartoon paces. So stay tuned for that.
