In this class, an architect, illustrator and concept designer Elwira Pawlikowska will explain you how to draw buildings in 5 approachable steps.

 You will see the whole process of drawing an easy, but hopefully a good-looking cottage. Obviously, the knowledge gained during this class can be used for drawing almost every type of building.

For those who need a little practice in perspective, it should be a nice and not-och-so-boring exercise.

Hi there! I'm Elwira - an illustrator and concept designer based in Stockholm. After getting master's degree in Architecture I started GRIM DREAM - a brand focused on hand-drawn illustrations in an old school, vintage style. I cooperate with game companies, book publishers, and musicians.

I find my inspirations in works of Old Masters, fantasy books, heavy, melodic music and long walks in the woods. My favorite themes are related to steampunk, middle ages, and architecture in general.

In 2017 I got silver "A' Design Award" for concept designs of Rampage System.

1. Introduction: Hi, I'm Alveda and I'm an illustrator and concept designer. I specialize in architectural subjects. In this class is with not so catchy title. I will show you how to Joe and Easy, but hopefully a good looking coverage off course. The knowledge gained during this class can be used for joining almost every type of building. So even if you're not necessarily striving after drunk, a small and primitive cottage you might treat these cars is a good starting point. I made countless drawings of various buildings, and wooden cottages are certainly in my top five types off architectural objects. Yes, I don't have a list of my favorite types of architectural objects. If you're not used to during buildings, it's a perfect subject to start because of their plane and very logical construction. For those who need a little practice in perspective, it should also be a nice and not also boring exercise. You can treat this course as general introduction to drawing buildings as help in developing your existing skills or a source of inspiration. This course is divided into five parts, each of them covering a different issue related to drawing a building. I will explain it shows such as Two point perspective, Geometrical construction, drawing on spectral details, drawing materials and trading. Sounds like fun seal next thing. 2. Perspective: to make life easier. My contractual Bischel in a very classic view. To make sure that the walls are said correctly, I will draw the two invisible walls. The check if everything looks as it should, the back wall has the same. Vanishing point is the front one and Anna, logically the left one has the same. Vanishing point is the right one. So far, so good. The bottom and the top of the queue boy look quite like rectangles. Drone in perspective. To draw the roof, we have to better mind where the middle access off the side walls are. It's quite easy. The intersection off diagonals shows where the access should be.
