Project Description

8bf9721c

I'm so excited to guide you through this creative journey!

After watching the video you will be able to create beautiful mandalas, using patterns inspired by the Zentangle® Method.

You will learn:

  • What supplies to use
  • How to prepare the background
  • How to draw the patterns / tangles Ratoon, A-Frame and Flux
  • The shading process
  • How to add highlights on a darker tile.

You will also be able to download the attached handouts containing:

  • A step by step guide to drawing individual patterns / tangles
  • A step by step visual guide to finishing the project
  • A reference sheet explaining the basics of Zentangle® method, including several links with more content
  • A guide through an additional challenge for those who want to draw more

If you are hesitant about starting, take a look at the photo of the drawings made by my seventeen-year-old daughter, my husband who hasn't drawn since elementary school and me as their teacher. Don't give up because you can draw too!
