A very simple and soothing technique. It helps not only with problem solving but also creates muscle memory in my hand so that my subsequent drawing is smoother.

What an original and interesting concept. Thank you!
I've been a random doodler for years so I enjoyed learning a new design. Easy and peaceful!
This is a very forgiving style of doodling (easy to cover up mistakes, simple to do even if you're not particularly good at drawing) which makes it very relaxing. I found it quite easy to just suspend judgement and just draw (something I normally have trouble with). This is also a good way to get into a good state of mind or warm up for other types of drawing.
