The left side of your brain triggers logical responses.  This is where math, science, language, and analytic thought live.

The right side of your brain sparks creativity, art, music, and intuition.

When your brain is processing how to solve a problem, it’s the left side that kicks into action looking for a logical answer.

But how many times have you tried to solve a problem that appears to either have no solution or you are having a difficult time finding resolve for the problem?

These are the times that you need to rest the left side of your brain + activate your creative right side to help solve the problem.

A simple and constructive creative activity is to doodle (draw).

This class teaches specific doodles that engages creativity in a familiar repetition that will awaken the right side of your brain in a way that will help the left side, the problem solving side, continue to work on the solution while you draw.

Drawing 2. Instructions of Adobe Illustrator: Hello and welcome to class. I'm gonna show you how to create the scroll drawing in Illustrator first. And then in the next lesson, you will see how to hand, draw or doodle it. Because I'm doing this in Adobe Illustrator. The measurements will be precise, but when hand drawn, it will be less accurate, which is fine. That's what we're going for. Were activating those parts of our brain in charge of the spatial aspect of this drawn. When drawing on your paper, you're going to start with a doctor and there were going to make a line of dots with the same or very similar distances. In this case, I want my dots to be 100 pixels apart. So I'm gonna copy them and just make a few when you draw it, you're just going to draw these little circles as close to the same distance part as you can get without going for perfection. And here I want to do the same and make another lying going down. So recreate my dots to go down. So this dot is exactly the same distance from this dot from this dot and then going down as well when hand drawing it. You're just eyeballing your using that spatial part of your brain so they won't be exact, but they'll be close enough. The next step is to draw from the top of the first dot to the bottom of the second docked the top of the first next dot to the bottom of the next. Stop the top of the dot to the bottom, the top of the dot to the bottom until you come to the end of your dots in the interests of time. Instead of doing all these little scrolls, I'm just gonna copy them and paste them down. When hand drawing, you'll just keep going down. You'll see it in the next lesson. Now, to finish up the scroll, we're going to do the similar drawing, but this time on the side. So we're going to come to the outside of the first dot. Make a little scroll to the bottom of the second dot top of the dot and a little scroll to the bottom of the next top of the dot and scroll to the bottom of the next and again, just in the interest time. I'm going to select the mall and copy them to complete the drawing. And that's how we create the scroll powder. So to recap, we just draw these dots a similar distance apart and a similar distance below. And then to start this scroll, we start from the top of the first dot. Go to the bottom with that little scroll action, top of the 1st 1 to the bottom top of the 1st 1 until you get to the end and then you can start at the top of the bottom. Go from the outside to the inside the outside to the inside or the left side to the right side, and then move along until you've completed the entire pattern. 6. Drawing 2. Hand drawing:
