Project Description

Doodle Sheets!

Doodle sheets are a kind of free form brainstorming activity to help you generate comic ideas. They're straight to pen, two sided sheets of regular paper. Here's what one of mine looks like.

Doodle Sheets are a great way to find ideas and to push them further than you would have otherwise. And they're just plain fun to make.

To go about doing one, just fill out an ordinary sheet of printer paper with drawings, trying to make each drawing a potential 1st panel of a comic. You can then use the sketches you've already drawn to give yourself even more ideas.

Upload a photo of your doodle sheet to the class project gallery when you're done!
