Born in South Africa. I have been drawing and painting since I was a child . On completing high school, I embarked on a brief stint at a Graphic Design college. Not quite what I expected, so I stopped after six months and found a job at a silk screening factory, where I learnt everything I needed to know, and spent the next 15 years of my life working as a Graphic artist. Five years as a freelancer, once my eldest daughter was born. Some years ago my family packed our bags and immigrated to the Netherlands, where I now reside. Unable to continue as a Graphic artist here, I mainly complete art projects for friends and draw, paint and make hand crafts as a hobby. I did run a small after-school art club for a while, where I gave drawing and painting lessons to a group of primary school children. A few years ago I discovered Zentangle art and became pretty keen on it, doodling away happily for hours. I find it very relaxing. I started appling my doodles to all sorts of things, decorating cards, coasters, ceramic items, little wooden boxes, etc. I then decided to display some of these items, and some other crafts that I practice in an Etsy shop. https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/KremerKreatief?ref=hdr_shop_menu

It was through the Etsy articles that I received an invitation to share my skills on Skillshare, so here I am, ready to share some creativity with others.

I also have a local website, in Dutch, that acts as a platform to encourage other friends and contacts to engage in creative activities, as well as a place to display items on sale.
