About This Class

Seaming and blocking need not be scary prospects for the knitter or crocheter.  Blocking adds that finishing touch to your lovingly crafted project and knowing how to properly seam pieces means a better presentation for your item.

In this class we will cover basic blocking techniques such as washing and pinning.  We will also discuss matching seams, choosing a seaming method, and how-to seam.  So, grab your tapestry needles, scissors, and project and let's get started!

Skills learned: wet blocking, steam blocking, whipstitch seams, three needle bind-off seams, mattress stitch, crochet slip stitch
