About This Class

Hey guys! In this lesson I'll tell you how to create a digital cutout in Photoshop. It's a bulky and very detailed course where every step is clear-cut so this course is suitable for both advanced users and beginners. First we'll learn how to create paper texture, work with fill layers and make use of a few shortcuts. Creating texture is a very important stage that allows you to make your cutout look more realistic. Then we'll immerse in creating characters. I'm going to show you two ways of creating characters and you'll be able to create your own ones even if you're not an artist. You'll learn a simple but effective technique that will enable you to create any shapes you want. Then we're going to take a good look at how to work with your own sketches and how a multi-element composition is formed. We'll go through several preparatory stages and then create a large-scale cutout on the theme 'pirates'. But this is not all yet because at the very end of the course we are going to take a good look at how to turn your work into an amazing art-poster. You'll learn the difference between the colour models RGB and CMYK, find out about your poster's pre-printing stage and know how to choose paper for your poster. We're going to go all the way from the idea to the poster without leaving out a single detail. So guys, there is a lot of exciting stuff up ahead, so let's start straight away!
