Project Description

Design a rad 1980’s poster!

Begin by jotting down a few sketches to work through your ideas. Once you’ve settled on a direction, hop into Illustrator and begin mocking up your design. After you’ve constructed your elements, type, and applied your basic colors, head on over to Photoshop. Begin with some basic texture to give the environment an airbrush quality, then dive into special effects like lens flares and outer glows to make your poster really pop.

The 1980's aesthetic was anything but minimal, so don't hold back! Try out different effects and share which ones you found most effective.
