Project Description

Create a business card for print

ASSIGNMENTYour assignment is to create a business card for print using one (or more) of the specialty printing techniques discussed in this class. Follow along with the video lessons to concept, sketch, and design your card, and bring your own creativity to the project. Whether you design a card for your real profession or your dream job, have fun exploring all the possibilities of print. DELIVERABLEYour final deliverable is 1 business card. Although you should feel free to get creative, a basic business card often includes:

  • Your name
  • Business name
  • Title
  • Method to contact you (email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Logo (if applicable)

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

I've created an in-depth class resource guide with notes on the video lessons and extensive links to print shops, paper resources, inspiration sites, helpful FAQs on letterpress and screenprinting, and much more. Check it out below, and add your own resources and tips to the class discussion forum.
