1. 01 Introduction: Hi, my name is provide Mandel, and I'm a parenting coach for last 11 years, helping parents spend quality time with their Children. Today, we're going to look at designing a jigsaw puzzle in one minute, far free. That's interesting, right? Let's look at what is the class about? Well, look at what is chicks are puzzle importance off it and what role it plays in a child's development. How to design a new jigsaw puzzle every day and, most important, had no extra cost. This is very important understanding that each puzzle costs a huge amount of money and our Children get bored very quickly. They weren't a new puzzle every time. So buying all these puzzles from market every time is not visible at most of the time, so it's very important to look at it at home or how we can do it. Thanks out off our waste material. We'll also look at how do we enhance the difficulty level so that the same puzzle can be utilized at multiple times by reading the difficulty. Plus, if we can make it little durable than reusability goes up and our Children can, ah, rough handle it and we can share these puzzles with others so that, um, we save some more money for not only for ourselves or for others as well. My most difficult step in doing this is getting started. Let me help you by taking the first step, your so you can just quickly press the blue and roll button and enroll into the class and seal inside the class on the other side. Thank you. 2. 02 Why Jig Saw Puzzles are needed?: Hi. Welcome to the class. And in this class, we're going to learn how to make jigsaw puzzles in one minute for free. So before we get started, let's look at what is a jigsaw puzzle and why it is so important. So you might have seen these things from look sharp strike shops, um, puzzles. Having really a species issue, put them aside and then reassemble them. Andi, Based upon how many pieces are there, it becomes easier or complex now why These things are very important for the child's development. So while child is working on these chicks or puzzles, child needs to apply lots of visual intelligence. And that's the development happens at the same time, Child is using the fingers, which leads to find water skills development as well as a child memory because the pieces have as assemble and memory development also happens with this. So these benefits are tremendous for a child's development, especially early in the years, and that makes these puzzles very important in life. 3. 03 How to Make in 1 min: Now let's look at how to make these jigsaw puzzles at home. Just look at what material require, so we require an old newspaper or a magazine, which is useless. Don't take it today's newspaper scissors, and if you want to make it doable, you can get some old cardboard on some glue. Let's start with taking a very simple example of simple rectangular paper. Onda. Um, I'll start with. Maybe we can start with very few pieces. Small number of pieces. So make geometrical cuts across the paper, making it a Squire and a rectangle and further cuts off it. Onda, if you want, you can start with just three pieces. I've made it your five pieces. It looked like vice like this. Now this becomes a very simple puzzle because if you give it to a child and then say, ask the child to reassemble it into another rectangular shit. Okay, now, that becomes a very simple puzzle. If let me explain this, using another, um, diagram to begin with, you can just make very simple cuts in the paper, making it maybe fuel pieces. Here. I've made three pieces. If I make a little more that because little more complicated. Now remember, these are just geometrical shapes, very easy to assemble, and that makes the puzzle easy on visualization. All told, we he's your here. Children may be able to do faster on the smaller Children this good with the beginning. For little bigger Children, this could be very easy. Now, if you want to make it a little more difficult and you can do cuts some random got some non geometrical cuts, and that will help in this fashion you can make some random cuts on debt. Give some more pieces, which will take little difficulty. Tau Ri orange. Okay, let's look at so these are fuel. Very simple puzzles that can be utilized. You see, here these are only two piece puzzles here, right? But in this it's not a straight cut. We've made little called little shapes here, Non, non linear is that slightly called a little extra twist In this all these are just two piece puzzles. Still, they make fantastic chicks are puzzles because each one of them require effort, understanding and visualization to reassemble them on all you required to make them, um, at home is take a simple paper. It wouldn't be circle all the time. It can be a rectangular could square. It could be random shit. Take a scissor and cut it across into two pieces. Four pieces, six pieces as you want to raise the difficulty. So that's how it is the difficulty if I just take your slight back here. If I see the child is already solving this puzzle, maybe you can make another card simply across making the pieces smaller and some more, um, cuts off these pieces so it makes it even more difficult to reassemble. The smaller the pieces, the more difficult it is to reassemble. If you want to put some guides on it, you can actually number them before removing so that you also know what is the correct assembly effort just to recheck. So number each piece so that they get rearranged. And at the end of it, you can check also if it is arranged correctly or not. Okay, um, another point. I want to mention your as you need not have simple plain paper. You can take a color sheet, use different colored sheets if you don't want only one color, take to color sheets based them and then cut them. Or you take a picture from the magazine or a newspaper and then make, um, pieces out of that. And then that becomes more authentic. Uh, puzzle. Um, let me show you some. So what is the benefit out off this? Is there a very quick to prepare in a few minutes? Only you can do it a new piece every day. You can prepare because today's newspaper becomes old tomorrow and can be used for these purposes. Are last week newspaper. Every day, only one picture can be utilized. The child is getting a new piece every day and is very excited that I'm getting a new puzzle every day. Sometimes the same person can be made more difficult and give given after a few days. So that's how we increase the complexity. If you feel child is little older, make more irregular, more complicated cuts. So that child tanks before assembling them, Obviously it saves a lot of money because we need our go to market by these puzzles. Um, we're doing it all at home. So hope this is interesting to you. And your child enjoys playing with these puzzles every day. Thank you. 4. 04 Making it durable: Now let's look at the durability off these puzzles. Since these puzzles are going to be handled by Children, there is a chance off mishandling the handling, Um, getting soiled things like that so we can make it slightly durable getting soiled or something. Ah, condo much because And that's the precise reason why we're making this at home raced so that we can make them again. But a little durability will help us to share and sometimes reuse and future. So first thing, what you can do is take the cardboard people put the picture on that faced with a little blue before you cut them. And every time you need to make final and smaller pieces cut with the cardboard so that that becomes a little tick on little form, and that helps and, um, storing it, not holding them all again. As I mentioned in the previous section, you can also number the pieces. Numbering is help numbering health into raise one as checking if the puzzle is fixed, correct at the end of it. And second, if it has become to many small pieces, it gives you a little bit off hint that whereto fix that so a little trick here. If you're using a plain paper, no picture on that so you can number on the front so that it's a little simpler and more available. Hint. But if it is a picture that slightly complicated, you can actually number of the back not easily visible, but yet available so that if you want, you can always get back to this and correct or take end or to a guidance out of it whenever your child is lost. 5. 05 Project for you: Now, when we have learned how to make these puzzles at home, let's do a small project. That's the first thing that I want all of you to do quickly pick up a piece of small paper , make a simple makes you catch suffered and then make a simple puzzle and post a picture. After this, you can pick up a small picture from the newspaper, cut it out and then, um, do some random cuts on it, and that makes it a slightly complex puzzle post. Picture that as well posted in the project section so that others can view it, and it becomes inspiration for everybody to do it and learn from your efforts as well. And most important, don't forget to put a review as well. This helps me to improve and help everybody much better in future. Thank you so much.
