Project Description

CONTEST DETAILS NEAR BOTTOM!!!

Of course, all that matters to be eligible for the contest is that you post your finished design. But I would love to see it in steps as I have outlined below.

1. Pick your favourite Emalco Mug (from Instagram or their site).

There is a reason I picked Emalco for my mug and this class. That's because I love nearly everything they've done. So I couldn't pick just one mug, all of these are awesome!

CONTEST DETAILS

I'm re-posting these contest details as there has been a lot of activity in the community page (which is great), so the contest rules have dropped low.

The winner, as chosen by Emalco Enamelware Company, will receive 60 high quality standard size 8 cm diameter mugs with their design! There is no cost for the mugs itself. Also, UPS Express Saver shipment costs are covered by Emalco Enamelware. You are only responsible for covering any import or duty taxes if such are applied in your country or state. The winner is kindly asked to allow Emalco 8 - 10 weeks for the prize mug production plus delivery. In return, you are also allowing Emalco to use your artwork across their full range of enamelware.

Each mug in retail is worth 15-20 USD/pcs. Therefore they would be giving you between $900 - $1200 USD worth of mugs. So it is up to you to determine if this is a fair trade before submitting your artwork.

If you want to enjoy the class and post your artwork, but you do not want to enter the contest, just mention in your project that you would not like to enter.

That’s it! 60 amazing enamel mugs!!

Contest will run for 4 weeks from August 17th until Saturday September 17th at 11:30pm Eastern time. You must submit your final design before the deadline to be eligible.

Contest Rules:

• Artwork submitted in the class is considered entered unless otherwise specified by the student

• Design must fit supplied 8cm Mug template

• Design may be up to 3 different colours

• Your artwork needs to be 100% original (fonts are acceptable)

• You must be willing to allow Emalco Enamelware Company full rights to use your artwork across all enamelware applications and other products. For example, textiles, prints etc.

• If you and Emalco Enamelware Company cannot come to agreement on terms, another applicant will be chosen

• Winner will be chosen by Emalco Enamelware Company

• Winner must supply all contact info to Emalco

Please Note: Emalco might be interested in multiple students artwork. Therefore, even if you are not chosen as the winner, they may choose to reach out with you and make a deal for your artwork, or parts of your artwork on their enamelware products. They will feature your name on their website.

If you have any questions, please ask them in the community section.
