About This Class
Discover how Surface Pattern Designer April Mawhinney, illustrates feathers using three different media & different illustrative styles.
April believes that wonderful engaging textile designs start with wonderful engaging artwork. This 26 minute class is designed to teach you 3 different techniques & to give you confidence to have a go in your own sketchbook!
The class covers techniques for illustrating Bohemian Feathers using pen, Realistic Feathers using a mechanical pencil and loose Painterly Feathers using watercolours & watercolour pencils.
This class is perfect for newbie designers, illustrators and anyone who loves drawing. No experience is required, just a love of putting pen (or paint brush) to paper & having fun!
