Project Description

For the class project we are painting the vibrant and magical Koi Fish. They actually look like they have been painted by watercolors them self, whic makes them the perfect subject for the class project.

I uploaded an image of the fish that you can download, print out and trace on to you're paper. You can also just draw some fish on your own, that is totally up to you.

MATERIALS:

For project you need some materials.

  • Liquid watercolor
  • Dark pan color (I use Winsor and Newton Paynes Grey)
  • Brushes (round and something for the dry brush technique)
  • Pallette
  • Watercolor paper (I use Canson 300g/m)
  • Water
  • Tissue
  • Waterproof fineliner
  • White gelpen (optional)

I would love to see your work, so please upload it in the project gallery and if you post on Instagram tag me so I can see :)
