About This Class

This is a Bachata course for leaders and followers. The level is Beginner/Intermediate, so you need to be comfortable with the Bachata basic steps, right and left turns to be able to follow these moves. If you are not, that's okay because we breakdown every step for both guys and girls.

In this course you will learn the following moves:

  • Bachata basics, 180° turn, ladies right turn
  • Arm waves, sweetheart roll in, pizza hand turn, hair comb
  • Rock steps with hand compression and simultaneous leader, follower turn
  • Delay step with stomp and lag, grapevine and hesitation step
  • Ladies turn into a dip, backward walks and body roll
  • Opening up, rolling her in and going to dip with the hip push

Salimeh is a professional dancer who has been dancing since 2004. She has competed and

performed in multiple venues internationally. Over the years she has become known for her

styling and finesse. She is based in Toronto and currently teaches at Dance LifeX Centre,

located in downtown Toronto.
