About This Class

How to update your kitchen - with no special skills, and save hundreds to thousands of dollars.

11f03e3c

Do you want to upgrade your kitchen, but lack the time, money, or resources to accomplish this?  Yes, a kitchen makeover will have a positive impact on other parts of your life, but how will you be able to do this? This will require some creative thinking.

If you have ever questioned the existence of your artistic or creative ability, my goal is to help you find it.  We live in a complex world, where success demands creative problem-solving skills and the ability to look at everyday things with a fresh perspective.

This class is the third in a series where we will explore doing new things, expanding our creativity, and applying these tactics to problem-solving in business and life.

This particular course will teach you how to update your kitchen in a few days, at a fraction of the usual cost.  You will not need any special ability or previous experience.  This class is for everyone.

If you are a beginner or experienced, have an analytical job or labor job, man or woman, 14 or 94 years-old, artist or “non-artist”, this course is for you.

You will quickly see that this class is not just about updating your kitchen.

Being creative is the means to a greater purpose.

In this lesson you will learn:

  • How a kitchen makeover can have a significant impact in other areas of life
  • How being creative helps us be better problem solvers
  • How to make a big and lasting impact WITHOUT specialized carpentry or artistic skills
  • How to save hundreds or thousands of dollars

Even if you choose to do a smaller version of the project, you will still benefit from the process.

The steps were easy to follow. The tips were very helpful. The important cautions were included, such as using the drop cloths to cover appliances. The videos show step by steps instructions that are great for visual learners :)

Make the complex, simple.

I enjoy learning, teaching, and challenging paradigms. With an analytical job by day, I make time to pursue creative endeavors at night. I believe that when we can simplify complex processes in creative ways, we constantly improve and help others to grow. Skillshare provides an opportunity to share some of the lessons that I have learned.
