Project Description

Create a green screen video clip that shows a portal into another world.

ASSIGNMENT

Using a picture frame and piece of green card stock (or other green screen material), your assignment is to create a portal into a different dimension through a 5-10 second video.

Here are a few ideas to get you started on what to replace the green with:

  • a window that didn't exist before
  • a painting you can't afford
  • gears and machinery (e.g. inside of a robot or engine room)
  • stars whizzing by
  • good ol' fashioned fire

Feel free to use one of these as a jumping off point, layer together different footage or GIFs, or come up with your own artistic world!

DELIVERABLE

Get started right away by sharing your creative concept or rough mockup in your Project Workspace. What is your creative twist on green screen?

Then, once you shoot and edit your clip, upload it to Vimeo or YouTube and embed it so we can all watch. I'm excited to see your imagination run wild!
