Project Description

Create a wordmark for your hometown!

Using the tips provided in this class, share 1-3 type graphics for the name of your hometown. Bonus points if you share the wordmark mocked up on a piece of merchandise. Bonus bonus points if you actually get that piece of merch made!

Things to consider:

  • What does existing merchandise from your hometown look like? How can yours be cooler?
  • Are there any typefaces or graphic styles that would be appropriate for your hometown?
  • If you are placing your wordmark on a promotional item, how can you create a graphic that is tailored to the layout of the item?
