This class is perfect for those that would like to learn the art of DJing. The content is specifically prepared and structured to give you the fundamentals beyond the knowledge, experience, confidence, understanding and the ability to DJ.

This is a traditional hardware course, where attendees will develop, hone and master their skills on the industry standard Pioneer CDJ setup.

Here are some of the controllers you can follow this class with:

*Applies to any Rekordbox / Serato Controller

These sessions are highly practical and are heavily focused on the hardware; and developing the skill-set required to qualify as a DJ.

By the end of these sessions, you will be able to gain a better understanding in the art itself. Be comfortable using an industry standard hardware DJ setup. Ideally, all attendees will be able to mix songs of their choice and develop their musical repertoire.

This creative journey is an 8 part series.

1. Session 4 Intro: This is our final session for level one. I'll do a quick review off all the concepts we covered in our previous videos. Also, I will do it quick performance and you'll be able to follow and understand all the sections I used in my set. I expect you to also record a 30 minute deejay set and share with me and your friends and collect as much feedback as possible. Work on the areas that need improvement and revisit the previous videos to speed up the process before you move on to level two. Do you have any questions from the content we covered in the previous session's? You can get in touch with me by email or through our chat talk for. 2. Session 4 Summary: all right, so let's do a quick someone of what we learn So far. So we've learned how to Q r song. Choose tracks, go inside a browser view and informed many of you and change our settings there with talked about nudging with the joke. Well, our master tempo, our temple range and our temple slider right here. Then we've talked about doing a simplest mixed with levels. Then we are did some complexity by blending with our equalizers. And we've said this is a fail safe way to prepare our next song. So this song is playing right here, and this is our next storm that we're mixing in. Put the base all the way down mids and highs at nine o'clock. And then as we at base, we remove base from the next song, right? So as we had to remove as we and we move as only on we remove the mids and the highest, and obviously keep the love of balance as you're playing with your equalizers. And that's a fail safe here. But always make sure toe have free full que filters at any given point in time between transitioning your makes and then we've added another layer for transitioning and also while playing our trucks. And this was our sound color effects section. And we had six some color effects space, tobacco, sweep, noise, crash and filter and this color norms applying to each one of this channels. And again our perimeter. Nope. Here, depending on what effect we choose, does different things. So you have a way more control with this new parameter? No, right there. And finally, we've seen our looping section right here to manually look in and out to do a four beat or on a beat loop, how to exit or re loop your last loop section. And then how to either cut in half or double in half. Your look points all the way to about, I think, 128th the shortest look and all the way to, um, 512 beats if I'm not mistaken, which is about seven minutes long, way too long to lope. And also way too short to look there in the next video. I'm going to show you all these in practice step by step, and I encourage you to also practices from your side, using your controllers before you move on to our next video's thank you for watching 3. Demo Set: another years. - Oh oh , way.
