1. Intro: Very often you feel really inspired, but you don't have enough time to devote to your banking. And you don't want to start creating a new painting, knowing you won't be able to finish it. And it'll be just sitting there waiting for you to finish it. I know this feeling well and I have found a great solution in cases like this, miniature paintings. Miniature paintings are tiny paintings usually made in size of your palm or even coincides. It holds so many possibilities and space to be creative. Create miniature painting gives you more time to devote to each painting. And you can create more paintings with minimum medial end paper. And it's also great practice and challenge as well. I'm sure you will say how many possibilities miniature aren't halts bonds. I showed you how to create beautiful miniature landscape painting in one sitting with minimum materials and time. 2. Class Overview: Hello and welcome to this miniature painting course. Today we are going to learn how to create miniature landscape paintings. I will share with you a step-by-step process of creating an autumn landscape painting on a canvas. I'll share a reference photo so you can use it as well. And in the end on the course, you will be able to create your own miniature painting. In this course, you will see that everyone is able to create miniature art with just a few fan brushes and inspiration, even if you're a beginner. So in this class, we will cover all the steps to follow to create landscape miniature painting. First, we'll gather alternative materials in advance. As we'll, we'll create miniature art. You won't need much. It will learn both materials and brushes you can use for miniature paintings. I will also share with you the insights of chosen the reference for the four miniature Art. And I will share with you a reference photo we will be using in this course. As a next step, we will get our color palette prepared. And finally, I will give you all the practical insights of gradient miniature landscape painting. I will go through the process of creating it. In the end of this course, you will be able to create a simple yet colorful miniature painting of the autumn landscape. 3. Tools & Materials: Now let's go over some tools and materials you will need to create a miniature painting. In the demonstration part of this course, I will be using oils. But miniature aren't covers all media, so you are free to use anything you want. Like acrylics, watercolors are events, then you will need just a few fine brushes of different sizes. So I am going to use one synthetic brush of size two. And I will use it mostly for background. And I will also use few fine brushes for detailing. These are the brushes of size 0 and triple 0. As a surface, my painting, I will be using this small round canvas. The econ, find those in the art supply store, get some old piece of cloth or paper tissue to clean up your brushes from the painting. And you are good to go. 4. Inspiration: Find an inspiration for miniature painting is an issue that many artists struggle with. And it can be especially challenging for beginners. Because with no experience of creating miniature arts, it's hard to understand what's possible for you to create and where to start when you're working on such a small scale. Of course, there is no proof to fight in inspiration in art. You can create whatever you like. But wherever what makes you happy? Just keep exploring and keep creating. The same rule applies to miniature art. So when it comes to creating a miniature painting, you can create anything you would like to create on a bigger scale. Remember that a small canvas is not an invitation for you. It's a challenge and a source for nuclear activity. So if you like nature and you love great landscapes or cityscapes paintings, you can create the same in miniature art if you're a beginner and this is your first time creating miniature art, I would suggest you to simplify a bending. So if you are looking for a reference photo, just one with a simple composition and less details. Simplifying your reference photo will minimize the challenge of creating art and to get used to painting on such a small scale. For example, let's take a look at the reference photo that we will be using in this course is really simple Both composition wise. There are no too many details. And it looks pretty simple to create. At the same time, it's colorful and beautiful, so it won't be boring for us to create it. So when searching for inspiration, ideas, and reference photos for your next painting, look for something simple, colorful, and something you would really enjoy creating. 5. Seting A Palette: In my previous miniature outcomes, I have already shared all the advantages of permits in the bank before you start working on inventing premix and even a few colors for a miniature painting will save you time and effort because there'll be no need to remix those colors during the binding process. So before we start, Let's look at our reference photo and let's identify a few main colors we want to use for the painting. So I'm going to set a ballot using light, some black, dark green, dark brown, yellow, golden occur, blue, and threat. 6. Creating Miniature Landscape : Work on creating a miniature painting or drawing. There is almost no difference is if you would work on a bigger scale. The only difference is that you have to create the final details on much smaller canvas. So as we would do it on a bigger scale canvas, let's start by blocking in some background colors. Here you can start by using an begun brush to create the ground. Some starting by mixing some grain with blue paint to create these slides, the Great Ultimate Sky. And as uneven the band to my sky area and live in some space for the future forest and mountain. Once you have finished working on the sky, let's proceed to the forests and layer here some dark green hill start by adding some dark green to the trees. And then in the process we will layer some light greens, yellows, and even read. To make your green even darker, you can mix in with brown paint. In the process of layering the green pinned to the forest. You are also defined in its shapes and the shape of the mountains as well. And stick into the original reference too much. And I recommend you not to feel obligated to create the exact same copy of the reference photo. This is a creative process and you're free to modify a painting in any way possible. Once you're forests aground is finished, you can start on adding some bend to the mountains. But before you do that, use the remaining dark green paint that's left on the brush to layer some perfections of forests on the water. Then you can clean up your brush with a piece of cloth or a paper towel. And using the colors similar to the one you have, use for your sky. Layer it to add water and reflection to your painting. Okay. Now you can switch to a smaller brush of size 0 star by layering dark gray paint to the mountain, establish its shape. And there some quiet on the top of the grey to add some to it. The mountain here doesn't require too many fine details. So as you have heard some dark gray and white to it, we can work further on the first area. So now let's use some yellow to add more colors to the painting. So basically what we are going to do right now is we will enter more shapes, colours, and find details to the forests making the Banting McCullough full and detailed so that you can switch to even finer and brush size to oppose hero and start applying the golden occur or yellow band on top of dark green forests. You can add more depth to the poorest by layering various values of colors. I will also add some dark brown tourists. Just look how much more mete it looks now. We can also add spread here and yellow colors to brighten up the painting. To add autumn pipe to the landscape. Okay. Yeah. Okay. And once you are happy with the forests, the last thing left to do here is to add some more affections, sort of water. For that, use the colors you have used for your forests. For example, in light. It's red and yellow paint. And as a last touch to the painting at a fraction of a mountain as well. But that's, I'm using white colour and a brush size too. And so it's like that are miniature autumn landscape is finished. 7. Final Thoughts: So welcome to the finishing line of this course.
