About This Class

In this class you will learn about creating apha files, what they do in 2-d and 3-d applications and how to apply them to a 3-d model to create details and geometry. An accompanying project will be used as a demo that students could follow and would serve  as a guide . The first video is an introduction to the class, the subsequent videos will demonstrate how to create an alpha file in Photoshop from imported images, next how to apply the alpha file in Zbrush 4r7, finally how to prepare your model for 3-D printing . At the end of the tutorials you will gain an understanding of alphas and how useful they are in your workflow, and in addition , if you finish the project, you wil have an .obj file suitable for 3-D printing.
