About This Class

Shibori, tie dye or batik (different names are used for the same technique in different countries) is an amazing technique to create colorful patterns on textiles.

In this class you will learn how to create four easy shibori patterns just with string. You will also learn about the different materials you need to make a dye bath to dye your bags. The dye I'm using in this class is Fiber Reactive Procion Dye by Dharma Trading.

By the end of the class you will be able to easily dye your own tote bags and enjoy the uplifting and fun process of playing with color on textiles.

This class is for beginners as well as for students who already have some experience in textile dyeing and may find a new approach.
