1. DEMO EN: Hey, what some guys Welcome to new to tell you with BST box. I'm gonna share something really awesome. But she had to make a call. Manipulation in four shop. I've seen this kind of image is increasingly more popular in Instagram on. I want to show you how to make this. We're gonna use stock images for this is not going to be a really complicated manipulation . But you you will need to know the basics. So I'm gonna show how to work with Layer Mosque especially, and how to combine stock images. And I'm gonna show you I really want to have to make this color this color 10 that you see here on this image. So I hope you will enjoy it. I'm gonna use forceps. C c. 2018 but you can make this in any Photoshopped version. Um, if you have four shops CS six, at least that will be better because we're gonna use the color look up, which they introducing a photo shop. CS six. But you can make this in any in any Photoshopped version if you don't have four shops here . Six. No, don't worry. It's gonna work the same just that you're gonna get a different call colored tone than one that I have here. So have you will enjoy it, and thats jump right into it. So we're gonna start with the background is usually my microphone over there somewhere else . And one thing we're gonna do here is, uh I'm gonna blend this, but I just need the bushes, not the surrounding ground there. The desert. So what I'm gonna do is use the bland if so, double click on the layer to open the layer styles and use this blend if and just move this . Let me see them notes. And this seems well enough for me and probably drop the shadows a little too much like that and dropped it. Facet Feel well, the exposure Some a little more. And now I'm gonna create a new one that's 2. Sunset Scene - Trendy Instagram Like Photo manipulation: Hey, what some guys Welcome to new to tell you with BST box. So we're gonna start with the background is usually my microphone over there, and, um, we're gonna start with the back. I'm gonna copy, toe. Um, I'm gonna copy D canvas, size everything and added Copy merged. I'm gonna make a smaller canvas for this. Uh, for this tutorial, I'm gonna use 3000 pixels. I think that would be enough. And let's delete the So basically, you will have this blank document. We're going to start creating the Bagram using stock images now for this kind of manipulations. Most of the images are from an splash dot com, and I'm using exclusively images from on splashed Afghan, except a couple of textures that I use, which are my own. And you should open this image. Of course, you can use the ones that you want, but on the resource is folder you'll have this one's, and you should use this one's Let's remove this tree using the clone stamp tool. So select the clones. Stab makes you have a pretty hard brush about 60%. Um, sample the image of the Harare Wilder horizon that edge over there and just trained over and then do something like this. The top part is not going to give it a bit visible. So anyways, now this is my corrected image control a control, X control W and based control. The working with keyboard shortcuts is gonna speed up your workflow quite a bit. And it's also gonna make me make my my two toes a bit shorter because I'm gonna work faster . So put your image on your canvas like this. Andi, I'm gonna leave it right over there. Now, the next thing I want to do is bring the these bushes. So opened the second image, also from an slash dot com crop it and based it above your image. I'm gonna believe this background, this black, bankrupt background it don't need it. And make this smaller as well. Use a shift GTO. Keep the proportions off your image, the aspect ratio, and I'm gonna leave it just a little bigger, just in case I need to position it somewhere else. And one thing we're gonna do here is, uh I'm gonna blend this, but I just need the bushes, not the surrounding ground there. The desert. So what I'm gonna do is use the bland if so, double click on the layer to open the layer styles and use this blend if and just move this . Let me see them notes. Here. Just click on the on the top one moving to the left until you get to do 29 then person, hold the bulky and split it and move it to 125 or somewhere there somewhere around there, and check it out. I basically removed most of the ground and just lived the bushes, and this will make it blend a lot better with my background. Okay. And now we still need to greet the letter mosque for this letter to We're gonna name bushes on the brush is burning there. And this one ground. Okay. Now, with this layer mask that I created for the bushes, I'm gonna click here on, just move up like that. We gotta refined this masks after we're done with creating the background. The next thing we want to do is create a layer mosque for the ground as well. And I'm gonna create something like this for now because I want to add the sky and after at the Sky can retouch this later. Mosques. Let's open the sky. The sky is also made up of two images. First, is this one? We have to remove this thing over here. So gang at the club stamp, sample the horizon over their line it up and just paint there. Whoops. Let's use soft brush and sample from somewhere a little closer like that. That looks a lot better. Best you can. Okay, crop it and complete that. And I'm gonna paste it underneath here and place it right over there. Something like that. I will leave it a bit bigger, just in case. I want to move it around, and now I can. Well, actually, it's at the second image of the sky, and then we can work with the later mosques and make it bland Everything. Let's open the second image, which I think it's this one. Yep. So this image, also from dance flash that come. It's an awesome website to get stock images and most of the image that you see on Instagram that are popular that just like this one have this kind of look, and most of them are from Sunsplash. Come now, let's pace that over there on. Make it just a bit smaller. And the good thing about images from on Splash that Tom is that they're free. So in really high resolution, let's create a layer mask for this. Let's in this clouds and this one on the bottom, that's name it sky. And on the clouds of an acquittal there mosque and with the Grady int with the radio breaking tool, make sure you have black to white. I forgot to mention that on the other ones, but I get that's obvious and we use lean here on. Just click there and drag this up like So just do your radiant don't do something like that , just uses soft ingredient. Just blend both images, and that's it makes you see some of the clouds there, and now we can move on to the ground layer mosque and the activate the bushes for a second because I want to blend this a little better. Something like that. Now activate the bushes on create the letter mosque for the bushes as Well, and this seems well enough for me. I think it works. So I'm gonna live it like that Now I'm gonna I'm gonna group both layers of the ground on the ground, in the bushes with control. G select both of them. Press control, Maggie. And that lesson his ground. Because we need to make some adjustments to this. You can see the skies a bit darker and the ground is a little brighter while actually quite brighter than then the sky. I'm gonna move the sky little lower cause I want to have it. I want to have more darkness there. And as I said, once we group this, we have to make some adjustments. Now, I'm gonna create some adjustments and clip these adjustments to the group itself. If you cannot do this, what you can do is merge both layers and apply while those adjustments their way. But I can clip adjustments to groups. I know this cannot be done in Photoshopped CS three, for example. I think you cannot sleep adjustments that groups, but I always, um let's see on the group, I quit the color balance so that the color balance clipped to the group. So this means I affect everything inside this groups this group and let me give you the values Shadows. We have 23 minus stand and minus two mitt tones minus 26 minus 29 groups minus 26 minus 29 4 And for the highlights, minus two, four and six. Now I have preserved luminosity on. If you're the activated, you will get a different result, but I have it on. And then another adjustment. It's a curves adjustment cribs adjustment, and here have a few a few points here and instead of giving it that I currently the preset because it's gonna be quicker. So just click this manual item here. Well, this bottom that you'll have somewhere around and choose Load curve precept and inside the resource is fully you'll find a file called Ground Cure's a CV Open. That and Viola the have occurs that I created for this on. You can see how the ground looks now with those curves. Let's start adding stuff here. Let's first at the moon. So let's open the stock fuller and get the moon image also from an splash. Not come on base it right over there. Something wrong happened there. I couldn't see the image. So get the moon there. Right, click and choose. Create smart object. I like to create smart objects when I don't know the final size of the item that I'm gonna use. I'm gonna live the moon over there. Maybe I'll change the size of it. But we'll see and changeable Blanco to screen because the the background is white is black so we can see how it looks like I could create something really weird and create a huge moon like that. If you want a great something more fantasy looking, you can do this. But I'm gonna live it smaller for now. And the next thing I wanna do is open my car image. It's this one. In fact, what I'm gonna do is bring it from the other document because I don't want to spend time. I don't want to spend time cropping it. So the first thing I'm gonna do now is close photo shop and reopen it because I cannot see the image. I don't know why I cannot see the image. So hold on for a second. I'll be right back. Okay? problem solved yesterday, I updated by operating system to High Sierra and I am having problems with Photoshopped liner. I don't know why, but anyways, this is the image, and what I did is I cropped everything, including the windshields here. So I'm gonna grab my image while this cropped image from the original PSD file. Let's locate that. You can see I cropped everything, including the the windows over there. So I'm gonna drag There's right over here. Now, this is too big. If you wanna have it like this, you can do it. I wanted to have something a bit smaller. So what I'm gonna do is right. We can choose, create clipping, no convert despite object and make it smaller. So I'm gonna create a new mask for this car and get the brush tool, and I'm going to use the grass brushes. But remember that you have to uncheck color dynamics. You can open this window with pressing F five and choose a color dynamics on check it when use this brush, and I'm gonna make it smaller and just brush that like so on this thing here as well. Now, the next thing we want to do is make some adjustments and make the shadow off the car. So I'm gonna create Let's name this first car on the bottom. Let's name it Moon so that we know which layers which I'm gonna quit the nuclear under the car. Which of their names shadow And you can create the shadow using, for example, a rectangular marquee tool and create the selection like that Philly with black and oops and then smooth. Any What I did instead of doing that is I use the brush tool. So get the brush tool and use on a no soft brush like this on Make a couple of quick swon their troops softer. One click there and another one over there like so and then control t and just squeeze it like that and put it right there underneath your your car. Like so. Let's leave the car there, and we have to make some adjustments to it as well. Let me give you the the values I used layer styles. For this. I'll double click on the layer open. Lewis stars off the car, and I used ingredient overly, but he is greedy and overlay on the blend mode that I used for this soft light. And I used black to transparent and have a skill to 90 degrees. Just adhere some blackness on the bottom and the skill to about 35 or 40% and capacity. You have to play with it depending on how dark you want this to be. The last side of the car is too dark, so I'm gonna shift the angle just a little okay like that. Anyways, we're gonna add a color overlay as well. So let's click that, and I'm gonna give you a color value. It's, um 576 de 74 on said the color in the blend mode to multiply and the capacity to 45%. Now the color vows that I give here. You can use others if you want, but I give this color Valls in case you want to get the same color tones that I have here on on the religion. If you get this collar terms, okay, let's move on. And let's add our standing guy over there again. I'm gonna get it from here. The stock image that I used is this one. Let's see if I can find it. It's this one over here. I extracted him from the background using the quick selection tool, and it's really easy to do that. Um, you can see it's pretty well isolated from the background. I'm gonna bring him from here. You can see how it looks like create this layer mosque around on. Well, just place him right over there on on over the car on top of it. And while I have to change the size, of course I forgot to do it. So basically what it is I placing him there on the ground and compared with the car. And probably it would be that big competitive. The car. I don't know more or less, and now you can positioned him right on top right over there, and now we have to create some adjustments to him as well go into the layer styles and let's see the adjustments that I have for him. So I have a color overly. First of all, the color code for him is this 16 c seeks B 69 color blend mode to multiply capacity. 85%. It's OK than an inner glow, and the car that I have for this is one a me one, a 1716 So it's quick okayed that bland mo to screen capacity 100% and size to 51 pixels and range to 95. Well, about 1990% you can see this will add some light on him, and then we'll have an inner shadow. And this is just a bit of rim lighting on top. And we have said the blend mode of this to caller Dodge and I'm gonna give you the collar, which is B B nine 88 e This guy over there set the day instance to eight pixels and the size to 10 pixels and the capacity to 100%. You can see the light as Mary's even too much. Let's drop capacity. It's just a bit like that. And then what else? Maybe ingredient, overly actually going on soft light and agreed to scale of it. I'm probably the capacity as well and probably no increase capacity of the inner shadow. Okay, so take a look. I'm gonna deactivate the layers. Tell so you can see how it looks without the layer styles. And with them now, it looks like his lighted by the light from there from the background and dark here on the back. Well, that's more wanna think we're almost done. The the next thing we want to do is create some lights here on on the car itself for that. What I did years I used I used a little Moscow while the selection of the car. So control quick the car thumbnail to select it. Then create a new layer on top and create a layer mask with that selection active. And now I'm gonna activate the layer mask on full screen. Now, with this layer mask on full screen, I'm gonna invert it because I just need this part of here of the windows. I'm gonna like the political marketable and create the selection around the windows like this and inverted now because I want to select everything except those windows and filled this with with black so that I only have the windows there. And now I can use this to control Click it and fill this with the color that I want in this case, Um, and something while in a sample from the background there and you something yellowish like that. Fill it. And now I can delete the little mosque because I no longer needed. I'm gonna name this windows and I'm gonna go into the layer styles and use in a shadow or inner glow. Even what's using a glow? Exactly. It's actually the same thing. And just first, here, on the blending options, I'm gonna drop the Phil about 50 or 60% just dropped the feel from here and use inner glow . That's okay. Something of a brighter like that and maybe a bit more colored. And now I'm gonna use outer glow. Looks like the settings are kept here. Use this color and increase the size of it about 75 arrange to around 90%. You can see the glow that creates. And now I'm gonna create the glow manually, create a new layer on top, said it on screen blend mode, get the brush tool and I'm going to use a darker tone. Not that bright. Something about that dark and a yellow hue there. Well, that's stupid. And use a big soft brush hardness set to zero, and just quick, one for every window on. That's how we created this? Um, this glow of light now we're pretty much done. I forgot to add the stars. Let's do that. Let's open them in the stock folder. You'll find two images off stars shot by myself. I'm gonna open this to wanted to and just cropped them. We'll copy them, cut them and put him on above my clouds here and get it are black, except have a few white points and said the But I want to scream on I'm gonna make the image a bit smaller and then get the other one. It's essentially almost the same image with different angles. Basically young gonna flip it just in case so that the stars are not overlapping and place it there changed bland to scream. Andi, make sure remove this. Okay? Like that. Now you will see that we have some stars over here. We have to get rid of them. But I'm gonna group this because I don't want to create two later mosques and I'm gonna this stars and I'm gonna create a layer mosque for the group if you cannot do it just much . Both images and create the letter mosque for the merge later and with the brush. I'm gonna do it the stars, Because they're not supposed to be visible there in front of the moon or here on the bag. Because even though you cannot see here anything that moon is there. But it's what you should not be able to see that, I guess. And I'm gonna leave it like that. Oh, yeah. I have to remove the start from here as well. I just want to have stars on the top part. So, um, I have to do this again. I'm gonna use the Grady int tool on. Just create a greedy in like that. I'm gonna finish the grating over there, and I'm gonna do go leap again Starts from here. Uh huh. Like that. Okay, now we're good to go. Now we can create the final adjustments. Basically, the while the structure of this is eyes ready, and we now have to create the final adjustments. And this is where we get through to this look that we have here. Let's start by adding, let's see one I have here, I have a curves adjustment first, So let's create a career was adjustment and I just created one point with the following settings at 127 for the input and output 91. So I darkened everything. Next I have a color look up. And here's where your CS six will come into play. If you don't have it, you have a previous version. You will not be able to add column lookups. And here used the cup global karmini on the second drop down. And let's see the capacity that I used This is 28% and I have the blend mode to normal. And then I did another color look up and set piece to foot touristic Bleak. This one comes with photo shop, so you should have it. And this is the look that you get. I'm gonna drop the past 30 to 72%. Now. The image lacks contrast, but don't worry about that. We're gonna fix that. Um, I'm gonna use call a camera raw Teoh to create the final touch of this. If you don't have cameras, a filter what I will do sprah shift all committee first to merge everything onto a new layer. And now I will go to filter and choose camera raw If you don't have this year is because you don't have four shops CC Now, the way to do this is go to file. If you don't have it, go to file save s and choose here on four bachu stiff right over there on check clears and save your image. Syria has a copy, save it and then opened that tiff file opening back in photo shop and by default it shoot opening in camera raw because it's a raw file and for shop understands that this is a rough on and it opens it in camera. It's easy. Let's go to a camera in my case here and I saved a preset for this. You can tweet this however you want. But instead of showing you wanted it on each slider, I'm gonna load the settings on. The resource is follow your finder's the caravan dot ex MP. Just load that and you have all the settings that I made all the presets, you know, facts and all the settings that I changed here. Now, one other thing that I did which is not visible here is I also used radiance and quite a lot of them. First I want to create a greedy in here to add more light. I'm gonna reset everything from reset local correction settings. Make sure it's on the inside. And I'm just gonna drop the d. Hes just the little. If you don't have the d. Hayes option, I'm gonna increase the feather quite a lot. If you have a Deghayes option, just maybe increase the exposure slightly and drop the clarity. And this will have maybe the same. What should increase it? Maybe I'll have the same effect on the hazier, Basically creates glows of light. And next, I'm gonna add a new one. A pretty big one on this is for the for the background. Well, for the foreground, actually, slightly smaller. This is just for this part over there. So I'm gonna check outside, and I'm gonna reset this. He's a pretty high feather value, and I'm gonna drop the exposure that's too much. And I'm gonna change. I'm gonna change the temperature to something a bit colder and probably use a tone from here. Something more closer to green between green and this science over there and not too saturated. You don't want to have something like this. Just that General touch there and probably drop the shadows a little too much like that and drugged up facet deal. Well, the exposure some a little more. And now I'm gonna create a new one. Let's on select that and create a new read ingredients like this. This is just for the ground over here around the car. This time I'm gonna Well, first reset. And this I'm gonna choose inside, and I'm gonna increase the clarity quite a lot. This would I bring up the contrast and I'm gonna drop the feather a little more increased exposure. Let's see, maybe just a touch of warmth to the image on defense. I'm not gonna touch this saturation. I'm gonna leave it a little lower, and I'm gonna leave it like that. What else I could do here? Maybe Grady int like this? Lenient, radiant. Like so. And I want to be the center of the great I wanna be. I wanna have it more or less there on the on the horizon and I'm gonna reset and create my own setting you on the bottom. I wanna have a colder tone. Let's leave a saturation toe where it waas Not that saturated someone dropped the situation a little, and the column believe it be activated and probably change a bit. The tones there on dropped exposure slightly like that. Any increase, the clarity, and that's it. Now I'm going to live a hand icon and probably make some tweaks because this setting this precept that I gave you is not gonna work the same for you. So make sure you well, you tweet this and create your own setting on your own adjustment. Just make it fit. Your image highlights problem in an increase in probably lights as well. And I'm not. I'm gonna decrease the saturation, actually a little and increase the vibrance. I wanna have something slightly saturated and click OK, and I'm gonna live this inconsiderate done. This was the before camera roll and after ism in just a little more again before and after camera, so you can create some really cool color tones using camera. Wrong. You can do the same in light room. Let me show you the original. I got this. I spend a bit more time on this as well. But anyways, that's how I created this manipulation. I hope you enjoyed it. I hope I it's not too difficult and that I didn't go too fast on this. So that's how I created this manipulation. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope he was not too difficult. But if you have any questions, any problems or any suggestions as a premium memory can send ambassador using the contact form or post a comment on the on the page itself on the website, and I'll be glad to help you. Um, so that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on. We'll see you next time.
