1. Introduction: Hi. Welcome to this class. My name is Samantha Chan of your instructor in this class. Have you always wanted to create a short animated film or a short animation? But you're not certain what the story lines should be? Then you have come to the right class because in this class you will learn how to create a storyboard. A storyboard is helpful for when you are not certain what the main topics are in your animation so that you can separate the scenes and you can then create it from scratch. So I hope you enjoy and see you. 2. Storyboard: So here you see that we have a storyboard and but I want to show you is how I created it. So basically what you do is you create a new foul here and you go to create it can be the So I said you want here. It will tell you how much you want in the width and the height. And then here we have the standard. So I'm just going to take the standard for now. And basically what you do is you use the rectangle to, and then you select the disable option in the field color, and then you just created with a stroke here, and you can create as many as you want. I created four, but you can create more than four, and you can then create more here. So basically, you just create these squares inside off the canvas, and then you copy it and then your pace in place, and then you can drag it to the bottom of the arrows on your keyboards, and you can then copy and paste in place again so that you can paste it in the right side, off the canvas at the bottom. So right now, you can then drag it to the right here at the bottom and then you can either create the sequel in sight off the rectangle. So you create animations here, insight, or you can create another blank page. So you create another new document, as in that's new canvas. You will then create your animation. So basically here what I did is I selected this color here and then I filled them in with this specific color. And then I had these table and the chairs created with the radio ingredient color. So you go here in the color window and then you change it to read ingredients and then you select the specific color, which is the dark red color. You can also type in the number 370,000 and then here you can then select this color here, which is the number 660 thousands. So right, then you have the chair and the table. So for the table, you can then select and create the table with the tractor. Alberto, like so and then at the bottom, you can press on alls and you use the selection toe toe track This in like so And you can then also direct this more to the outside, like so so that it will look like it is standing on the ground. And then the chair is created with the over to first. So you create the top off the chair with over two, like so and then at the bottom you created with directing little like. So you can also decide to not use any stroke at all, which is also a good idea. And let's say here I create this one. I create a rectangle at the left side and I can double click here so that I can select both the stroke and the shape. And then I can make it smaller in case you have made it smaller and it has affected the background color. You can also feel in the back of color again inside off that specific area, and here you can then do the same. So this is then how you can create the cheer. But you see, here I did it without the stroke, so it is necessary to create a chair and a table with a stroke. And then, with the drawings here, I only had it here as a bit map as this one. So big map number two. I can just copy this and then paste it in the wall with the stroke there and the window. I drawn the curtains with the brush toe and here I just created a few lines. I feel this in with the color blue. So that s then how I created a background. And then I'm going to explain the rest in the next few videos. The chair that is in the front. I have also created it without the stroke here. So let's say I do it without a stroke here as well. And I just creates this, like so so that it will look like the grow is sitting in front off the cheer. So that is basically how I created the storyboard backgrounds. 3. Crying Part 1: in this video, I want to show you how to create the flowing down off the tears. So besides the tears moving, it should also be flowing down. So in that case, I am inside the tears right now and you see that I have a mask off tears to. And this one is where I draw the lines to go to the bottom. And I have also duplicated the tears here so that the mask doesn't hide the original tears . So I duplicated the layer here. So this is the exact Seamaster one here. Okay, so right now I am at the key from here where the tear starts flowing down. I'm then going to draw these lines that is shining so that it will look like the flow is going to the bottom. Okay, so right now I wanted to start here, and then I'm going to insert new key frames every time so that I can then throw it again when it is going down. So here, this one is going down as well, and then here again, you know, the blankie frame in this s well, so here we have 11. So I'm just going to that's left in here. Now I know we have the tears falling down and what I want to do right now is make it look like it ISS falling down. So here I'm going to insert a plan key frame and then copied these frames again. Here, I'm going to press on shift and then copy these frames and then paste the frames again. Here, insert a blankie frame, paste of frames again. Insert a blankie frame and then paste the frames again. Okay, so here paste the frames and then here I can delete the rest off it so I can select these. Remove the frames, and then we have the tears falling. Okay, lock it so that it will look like a mask. Make sure that you select the mass by right clicking on it and then select the mask so that it will also mass the one that is below it. So since it masked the tears here, I have toe duplicate the tears layer as well, so that it will show the tears afterwards. So right now it has made it look like it is falling down when it is crying. Because you see these lies that we look like the tears also falling down. This is then how you make that type off animation that will look like the tears off falling down. So here, if you don't want the tears to look like it is falling lower than the face and it's not disappearing there. You can create another mask so that it will then show only the part where it is on the top , off the face. So here we can then select any color that we want a blue, its surface, and we can then create a circle here. So right now I'm going toe track my circle here. I'm then going to select it. So here, I'm going to select the specific area. I can also enable the climate so that I know where the tears are going to end. So this is where to show cans. So that is all right. Or I can also manipulate it a bit here by curving it in my selection tool. And then I can choose the apply moat again and then lock it. Okay, so right now I am going to move it here, and then I'm going to lock this one as well, so that then when I play it, it will Then show me the specific parts here. So you will want to mask it. So I have to right, click and mask. It's for it to show there are empty key phrase there. So that this why the tears on the bottom is showing. So in that case, if I want it to not show, I can then go here in the specific key frame, and I can then also did I get here to the top like so, Jane, like so and then here as well. So I have to use this shape between then and practice to the face like this as well. Like so Okay, so right now I can then lock it again, and then I can test it. So right now, indeed, it won't show that extra part off the tears. So right now, when she is crying, it will then look like the tears are flowing down 4. Crying Part 2: in this video, I want to show you how to animate any grow that is crying but with the tears that are flowing like a river. So here you see that I have the color white selected for the tears and it is actually Laster in opacity, but because you can see the lines off the mouth through it. So I've created a symbol, all the fit. So the real character is here. You double click inside and you have all these layers here inside, so I can then see the tears and everything else. And I can also locked the rest so that it doesn't affect whatever I do with the tears. So here I have the tears and my theater also a symbol, and it starts off at the 10th frame. So here I have most the key from further away so that it doesn't show in the beginning. Okay, so right now that I have the tears here, I can then double click on the tears as well. And inside you'll see that there is a mask and a layer so the mask can start in the beginning. And the layer were the tears are can start later on. So here I am, then going to create the tears here. I'm going to make it 50 percents. Okay, so I copied this one. I go inside and here you see that I have a mask here. So this mass specifically, I want to select it and only mass the face. So it has to be the same specific roundness off the face because I wanted to show the tears instead off hiding it. Okay, so later on, I'm going to show you what I mean with that. So here you see that I have my tears here. So what I need to do is I need to create key frames in every fifth frame with the shape between. So here I have the shape between I can then create a key frame here, where, after the playback, Linus, you can create a key frame there. And then I'm going to sumit in right now to show you how I created the tears. Okay, so what I do is I use my selection toe, which is this black coarser here. And what I do is I just move it to the opposite side. So here, this should then also moved to the opposite side like so. But you'll see that then this part will look like it is going to be sharp. So we don't want that. We have to Dan, direct this to the other side so that it will look still a little bit around. And then this one should match the right side. So it should also go to the right side instead off the left. And then here you'll see that there's a sharp angle s ball. So I have to drag this out so that it will be khorafi instead. And then this one should be going to the opposite side. So here we then move this like so make sure that this one is not too short, and then here as well. So here we then move this to the bottom so that it will keep showing like it is flowing. Okay, so after this, I am going to also change the other side off the tears. You see how the tears will then go from the left to the right, so I'm going to also add It's the one at the right site. Okay, so here I am, then going to go back to my key frame. And then here I'm going toe track this to the right side and this as well and then directed , still left and decide as well. So they should be matching together. OK, so right now this Wallace at the left. So this one should go to the right instead, and this one as well. So this is then how you can added it in each key frame and what you can do right now, it's just delete this and you can then select the one in the key from here. You copy it and you can place it in place in a new key frame. Or you can just copy the frame instead, My right click it and then you can right click again and paste frames. And here you copy frames again. And then here you pace frames and then you copy the one that IHS before the current frame that you're in and you pay stream. So every time you can then skip a frame and then paste a frame again. So here you copied this from here. You skip the next frame and he pays for him again. Okay, so right Now we have our tears moving from the left to the right. Okay, So what it does is that it will then show like it is moving like that here should be moving . So if I test it, you will see how it plays from the beginning until the end. So this is then how it looks like what you see, that the tears will be flowing until here at the bottom, and we don't want it to show the part where it this outside off the face. So in that case, we can treat in mask here and to create a mass, you have to off course, right. Click on the layer and press on mask when you are in the options. So here you see that my masses ticked. So it is currently on a mask, and you can then drag this out by dragging into left. And if you want it to apply on the mask, you drag it to the right so that it won't go under the mask. So here I had can then create a circle and I can create with any color I want I can create with the blue color so that it will be visible for you to see. And then I can make the offer 100% back so that it will be a solid blue. And then I can then create the circle here. So the idea is that the circle shall be covering the face so that the tears will not appear at the bottom off the face, so outside, off the face that tears shall be not shown. So here I'm going to cut its because it has bean paste it in the tears of the year. I wanted toe pace on the layer off the mask. So I cut it and paste in place there. And then you'll see that the mask will cover the face. But if I lock it, it was under the opposite. So right now I love both, and you'll see that the tears will be flowing just below off the face and the rest will disappear so it will not show their site. Here, you see the decide it still shows it. So here I'm going to all knock it back, and then I'm going to rotate it a little bit so that it will not cover the rest off the objects at this outside off the face. So this is where the face ends. And in case you want to see the old line off it, you can create an airplane mode so that you see where it ends exactly so that then you can managed to make the rest invisible. Because here in the mask, when I lock it inside off, the mass will be feasible and outside will be invincible. So if I test it right now, it should then show me the tears ending at the end off the face. 5. Enjoying food : welcome to another video. And in this video, I want to show you how to create an animation that will look like she is going to be eating . So ask the food I have created something like rice together with an egg yolk. So well, I'm going to do right now is going to make it look like her chopsticks are going to be picking up the food. And she were insert it in her mouth. Okay, so right now I am going to drag it back to 100%. I'm going to change the zoom options 100% back, and well, I'm going to do right now is show you what I have created for the hands. So the hands here looks like it is going from the bottom to the top. And here you see that the hand is a drawing object. But in the next one, the hand is actually assemble. When you create a symbol, you can insert other layers as well insights with different objects and different things that you want to add to it. So here, when I double click on the you will see that here I have, like the Tom separately because I wanted Tom to be able to move between the chopstick as well to show that it is holding the chopstick. And in this case, the Tom is the highest one because I wanted to be in front, off the chopstick. And you have chopstick number two chapstick number one. I have made them separate as well, because the chopsticks shall be sometimes on the top and sometimes on the bottom, depending on which chopstick it iss. So here I have to hand left as well. And I have the food. So for the food, I have created friendly bust so that you don't get confused. One is for when there is the food's not eaten. I have put that at the properties panel in the name off the label. And here it is called eaten because it is a little bit eaten. And here it is, called no food. So here you see the name no fool here so that you see that that this man it is eaten up. OK, so that happens when the hand is going to move up. I have added the food inside off the symbol as well, so that it will be easier to move together with the chopstick so that you don't have to animated separately. So here, when it moves to the top, you see that it will then eat it and then it will disappear. But you see that the most is right now, not moving. So here, every time that I have this specific key frame that will do the same because I have created a symbol here. And when you copy the frames and paste it in another frame, it will then copied the exact movement as well. So here you copy the frames here by wreck Ricky on it, and then you pace frames on the new friends very wants the character to be animating like it, this eating foot. So here, this one is the drawing object. So I have left it here at the object because there is nothing to add inside of it. And here you can add more to the hand if you want. If you want another type of food, for example. So here you say that it will look into it like she has eaten the food, but we have to make it look like their lips are going to open a spot. So in the next video, I'm going to explain to you how toe at the mouth. 6. Happy eating: So in this video I want to show you how to animate a grow that well look like she is positive or very happy when she is eating the food. So to do that I have to create a new key frame every other frame, every friend that the food is entering her mouth and I have to create an animation for as well. So here you see that with I have the playback line at a certain frame. You see that the AC and the rice is going to be very close to the mouth. So here I can, then at a key from here. So I insert a key frame and then you see that here I can then go in sight. So then you see here that I have my expression, which is looking like the most, is close. So I have to make sure that then my mouth is open at that point. So here I can then use the open toe, so create the malls here. So this isn't at this open. And then here you see that it will look like it is already half eater. So in this case, I have to answer in other key frame here and make it look like it is closing. So in that case, I have to Did I get down here to make it look positive and closing as well? Okay, so this is how I do it. And then I am going to answer another key frame for away. So let's say here it will go back down and then here it will have to go back up somewhere. So in that case, I have to drag it until here. Hurry to go back up, and then here, This one should then be going like unopened most again. So here, this one should be going up like so Or what you can also do is select this and then believe it. But then you just copy the frame here. So you copy it. And then here you place it in place so you can just do that as well. So you see, this one is actually when the food is going to enter the most, and then here it will then be half again. So you have to make sure to check it out when it there's going. So here. This one should then be the normal month. But you can also do is copy the frame here, and then you can pace the frame back here. So a piece of frame here and then it shouldn't go here. Okay, So clear key frame. And then with this one sitting surgery, and then I insert in other key frame here, and this one should be then the one that is happy. So here I copy this one, and then here I just delete this part based in place, and then we can go for are like that. So here we can then do it again. So this one is the one that is fully open. It's the one that she should be eating. So this one should be then open and then and well, close. So basically, you have to keep repeating that until the end. I am done going to just select this and then copy it. And here are in pieces in place. And then here I can also see practice. Copy it. I'm here. I answer blankie, friend, and place it in place like so. So that this Then how you can go for and I'm just going to speak up the rest. Okay, so right now you see that there are several ways to do it. So you can either copy the image here or do drawing. And then you can place it in a new key frame or a blankie frame, or you can just copy different as well. So here I copied the frame. And then here I can then peace the frame, and then it will paste the key free for me instead of having to do all the work. So copy and paste frames is the best one that is going to work. So if I play it right now, better than look like she is happy to be eating the food. So that this, then how you any meat? It looking like the most is opening and closing again. So eat the food. 7. Order of the layer: you have seen through the previous video that when I play it, it will look like the tears are on top off the chopstick and foot, so it will go in front of it. But I don't want that. So what I did is instead off having the player off the tears on the top. Like before you see that the tears will go in front off the chopstick, so you can then director, layer off the tears to the bottom, off the hands left. It doesn't have to be on bottom off the ice and lip, but it can also be on the bottom, off the hand left. And if you play it, you'll see that it will then go behind off the chopsticks so that then it doesn't look like the tears are invincible and that they have skips the chopstick instead. So that s then how you can make sure that the tears are not on the top, but they are on the bottom instead so that it will make more sense that the water is actually fluid and not solid. 8. Deleting lines inside symbols or drawing object: so imagine this one is a part off the form off the hand, so you cannot believe the whole line here. So what you do is you use the lying toe here, make sure you're not selecting the drawing object modes and no symbol either. Because you will want to cut this part. Only also let me create two lines here to cut them off so that it will connect together. And then here I can then delete this part here. So right now, I can then select it and the league again, this one as well. And then this lying as well here. So I know when I go back out it Would that make more sense when it is moving? So now, to make them all look like the same, you have to copy this one, which is the hands here. So this is on left and right. You need to do that as you copy it in pacing planes in every although key plane. So here we have done the hands with doubts, the line that will make it look like it is detached from the body. Okay, so I know this makes sense and then you can also do that with the hands, right. So here in the hands, right you can. Then they lead a specific part here so that it won't look like the hand is totally ing on their part, separated from the body. So here we select the lying here, you see that it will again select a large line so we don't want it to delete everything. So let's create some lines over here. And then I will select this specific line here and then deleted so that it will deliver only that part. Hey, Right now, I have two very response a smell, and you see here as well What type off object or symbol. It s so when you double click inside off a drawing object, you can also create separate objects inside off it. But the only difference is that when it is on symbol, you can create more layer inside off the object. And when it is on drawing object that this only to create more parts inside off that specific object or a specific body part. So right now you see, that's their hands. It's actually not disconnected from the body. Okay, so if you want to do it more. You can also select this or here, and then it will delete more part of it. But then you'll see that it will cost the hand to be deformed because you don't see that their support over there that will form the hand. And it wouldn't look like it has not being bent. Okay, so here, you see that I can also delete a specific area here. So let me just create the line over there. And I believe this part here. And can you be peace? So here, when we go out, it will then make more sense when the hand is moving. So right now you see that this one has a larger area. So I am then going to do the same here. Or you can just go inside here and then direct this back to that specific area so that it will look like it has too much difference from the left to the right. Okay, so I know I summit in. You'll see that there is Hold the line hand. Okay, so then you will be this part here. So I know we select this and really good, like so and then I can make it 100% back. So right now you see that then you have two hands here where you have the lines here, that it's Onley there so that it will make the form off the hands, clear and not. So that's it's well show it is one part off a hand without the body parts connecting to each other. 9. Timing: in this video. I want to show you how I animated the ball so that it will look like the rice is going to become lesser and lesser. You have to make the timing well in the animation so that it will look like when she is picking the food. The food is going to become less in the bowl because she has picked it with her chopstick and Italy. Okay, so to do that, you have toe know where the key frames off the eat movement ISS. So whenever she has eating, you have to write down the key for him here for a better organization, I will recommend to write it down on the paper. So here we see, we have the frame number seven where the first each movement is going to happen. So you write down, then frame seven and this is what it is on the bottom so that it's not changing at all. So here, you see this one here it becomes laskas Well, but she hasn't picked up her hood yet. So here we have to go back to the ball here and make sure that that will be frame 16 instead. So here. You see, the rice has indeed be calm less so I'm going to drag this to prime 16. Okay, so I go back out, and then we will keep dragging the playback line so that we can time it. Mark. Okay, so right now, when I go here, you see that the food has become less as well. So here you see that it will become less here, but it actually shall become less here because she has picked the rice over there. So here, this one has become less, and then this one shouldn't have any difference. So let me go here, and I like this further away. So here, I'm just going to direct this this plane. So this one is okay, And this one is also okay. So here, when she eats, it becomes less. And here nothing happens because she'd happened. Picked it up yet, But here it should also come less and here last as well. And here it totally disappear. So that this Okay, so let's go here. You're seeing that here. It also doesn't make any much difference. So let's go inside here and inserts key frame here. The good thing is that the paper Klein will stay at the thing frame where you laugh it off . So here I can also select their rice and then ragged a little bit more to the bottom. Just juice the arrows on keeper and then press the down arrow once. And here we can leave this like it ISS, and you can go back out and you'll see here than that. It will indeed become less. And here we can also create in other key frame where we can make it look like it. Just become less so. Here are insulting other key frame markers to the bottle and in this one as well, like so it will then make it look like it has eaten a lot. Okay, so if I control and tested issue look like the price is becoming less every time she picks up the foot. Okay, So I know here for this once that this slice okay, So here, we shouldn't make this year some Let me clear key frame here. Good. But haute. So here, this one shall become less so that it's OK. Okay. So I know this long, De and then we clear key for him. here. Okay, so right now in as little to become less here. So let's derogative framed 40 like so and then the next long should be here on time. 52 train. So let's go into the bull and we clear keeping here. Hey, yeah, This become less and as we call it s a small Okay, so then this is okay. It doesn't reflect The food is disappearing without her moving, so I know we can test it, and it will. And they look like the foot will keep becoming less. Well, she is eating it. Okay, so this is then, look, I mean, what's timing in adobe animate, Make sure that your time the key frame well, and it looks like it is a lot off work when you use frame to frame animation. But the prince to frame animation will bring more pres ation in your animation asthma, which is better than having it with any Tween. So imagine this one is a part off the form off the hand so you cannot believe the whole line here. So what you do issue usedto lying toe here, make sure you're not selecting the drawing object modes and no symbol either, because you will want to cut this part. Only also let me create two lines here to cut them off so that it will connect together. And then here I can then delete this part here. So right now, I can then select it and the league again, this one as well, and then this lying as well here. So I know when I go back out it Would that make more sense when it is moving? So now, to make them all look like the same, you have to copy this one, which is the hands here. So this is on left and right. You need to do that as you copy it in, pacing things in every although key plane. So here we have done the hands with doubts, the line that will make it look like it is detached from the body. Okay, so I know this makes sense. And then you can also do that with the hands, right? So here in the hands, right. You can then delete a specific part here so that it won't look like the hand is totally ing on their part, separated from the body. So here we select the lying here, you see that it will again select a large line so we don't want it to delete everything. So let's create some lines over here. And then I will select this specific line here and then they lead it so that it will really only that part. Hey, right now, I have two very thesis once a smell, and you see here as well what type off object or symbol. It s so when you double click inside off a drawing object, you can also create separate objects inside off it. But the only difference is that when it is on symbol, you can create more layer inside off the object. And when it is on drawing object that this only to create more parts inside off that specific object or a specific body parts. So right now you see, that's the hand is actually not disconnected from the body. Okay, so if you want to do it more, you can also select this or here, and then it will delete more part of it. But then you'll see that it will cost the hand to be deformed because you don't see that their support over there that will form the hand, and it will then look like it has not been bent. Okay, so here, you see that I can also delete a specific area here. So let me just create the line over there. Really? This part here and can be peace. You'll see that there is, you know, the line hand. Okay, so then you will be this part here. So right now we select this and we leave it like so, and then I can make it 100% back. So right now you see that? Then you have two hands here where you have the lines here that it's Onley there so that it will make the form off the hands, clear and not so that's it's well show it is one part off a hand without the body parts connecting to each other. 10. Copy animation into storyboard: after you are done creating your character, you can copy the layer here. So you right click on it you copied earlier. And then you go back to your story board here. So when you are at the storyboard, you can then decide to create a new layer here and then you reckless on month earlier and click on pace layers. So here it is that you can replace some items because I already have some items here which I made a symbol. And when the symbol has the same name, this library conflict, when though, will appear so you have to click either replace existing items or don't replace it. You can put the ticket items into a folder as well. So if you select that and you see here that I can then paste it into my new folder here. So you see here I can then go back here in the beginning and you see the grow here. So what you do then, if you select the group with the free transform too? The reason this is white is because I created a lights cover here so that it won't show the characters outside off the square Okay, so here you can Then skillet doubt with the free transform tal and then you can faded inside off the storybook. So that's basically how you then copy something and then pieced it in the storyboard. And when you don't need the layer anymore, you can just use the trash camp till deletes the layer. So this is basically how you copy and paste something into the story port. 11. The rest of the Storyboard: so the first and the second story is the same. So I already explained how the 1st 1 was created. I'm going to focus on the dirt part here. So then we are going to go to number treat. So here, in the number three the beginning, it's also a copy off number one and two. And when it reaches from 70 her eyes is goingto be open because she sees the waiter coming in with the foot. So here, when I summit in, we are going to focus more on part three here. So the eyes are then going to be here. So you see, if I double click inside if it we see the symbol So inside off the symbol I have created the eyes and basically what I did is I entered the name in the frame label. So this is shine one, because she is actually having I said, are shining and this is shined to on There's a shine treat So it moves to the bottom Enter top. So the invisible parts here, which I created with my over toe and a color that a slower in a pass ity I moved them to the top and bottom you see here. And when I have it on 100% it will then create this white solid color from him. But I don't want that. So I'm going to make it lower in opacity. Okay, so this is all right. And you see that, then here it will go down and go up so it wouldn't repeat this and every symbol that I have copied and paste it. Okay, so right now we can go back out, and then I show you how it will move. So here you see that when I move it, you see an effort key frame. I have copied and pasted the key frame off their growth. I and you see that it will indeed go up and down. And the voice that I created here, which has her seeing best foot ever, is thick because that means usually in an emissions when our voices sticker. It is when the cartoon is thinking and not when India's talking. You realize that a lot as well. When you are creating cartoons like in Cartoon Network, you will see that most off the animations, the meek when cartoons are thinking it will be thicker in the voice than when they are talking. So here I am, then going to go further. So what I did is here in the waiter. You see that he has not appeared here yet. This is number one. So let me go to number three. So here you see, the waiter is appearing at frame 70. He can then appear over there and then you have to make sure that there is no key frame in the beginning here. So if you create a key from here and you draw their accidentally, you can just move it here. You just choose this one and then you move it to the place that you want. So that this, then how you move a key frame and you can then time it well, so here. You see that when he appears here, the eyes are goingto go open. You see here it's still closed. And then here it goes open. When the waiter appears, it is excited and goes open. And here see that his proportions might look a little bit off here, but the thing is that he is not looking actually straight ahead. So he is a little bit turned around. So that's why here you will see more proportion off the body than at the last site, and you see here as well that's the part. Off the clothing is also a little bit hiding at the top for a specific reason. So here you see, then the waiter is going to turn his arms around. You can click on it. So here you see that when I double click on the it he turned in solidly on their side, you can either draw it or you can just right click on it and then go toe transformed and flip it horizontally. And then I also drawn the plate off the food here, together with the hint. In case you're paid off, the food is not going in the front, and it is going behind. The hand is that you can always make it a symbol or a drawing option, and then you can arrange it and send it to the back or to the front. Right now it is on shape, so there's nothing you can do about it. If I go to modify and combine objects, I can then go to union and then making a drawing up, Jack. So right now you see, it has become a growing option. And if you wanted to be in the front, you can use that or you can use the symbol. So right now, here, this hand is actually caught off here. But if I that's a hands here and I make this 100% I can then draw this over it and you see that it will still go to the back. But I can first make sure it is a drawing object here. And you see that when it is a drawing object, I can drag it. Here were the handiest. You see that it will still go in the front. So in that case, you can then right, click reach it and then send to back, and you see that it will then go to a back off the plate. Okay, so they understand how you can create the moving off the hand and then in the next key frame, you will see then that he will bow and in a one key from further, he will done open the plates. So here his hands is going to open it by having it on the top off the plate. So here you can then draw the hands over there and you see that French frame animation will actually cost more time. But it has a lot more details that you can add to the animation. So here he will then open it and you will see that. Then it will say, Don't eat me So the chicken is going to say, Don't eat me and then you will hear the voice off the chicken. And when he is done saying, Don't eat me or when his eyes open you will see the reaction off the waiter and the grow as well. So here is the reaction off the waiter. And here is the characters reaction. You can then does double click on it, and then you go inside off the face here, and then you can create the eyes and the lines. Or you can even created on the key frame right over there because it is a from different animation. You can add anything in the next key frame, and then you can create the ice over here in the chicken, so every day you can draw from scratch when it is frame the frame animation. You don't have to worry about creating new twins or new lawyers for the teens. So here, when it is in the middle off sandal in me, you see that the waiters reaction is going to be quite a price, and the girl is going to be quite embarrassed. So right now, here. You see that when I reached the ants, you will then look at number four here. So the next part will be on number four and you'll see that when it is almost at the end, the chicken is going to flip around and going to disappear. And you see, then that the girls had it's also going to be moving up. You see the ice and the lines also moving up. And then here you can see the waiters pupil moving as well. So first he is looking at the plates, and then he will move his ice a little bit upward to look at the chicken. Okay, so this is then how you can create it. So you have to focus a lot on the expression as well, because not all expression will fit on on the sequence off the animation 12. Draw the waiter: So for anyone who is wondering how I drawn the waiter, I have inserted a an image from picks A B, which is the symbol right now. Symbol number four. I can then go here and copy it, and I can pace it here in the center. So this is the emission I actually copied. And what I did is I made it a symbol instead. So I converted a symbol. And then what I can do is I go to the color effect and change it to Alpha, make it a little bit lighter in the opacity. 46% is enough. And then I have drawn over its by creating a new layer here and traced the image here. And what I did is I changed the hands. So the hand is the only thing that this actually drawn from hands. And here you see as well that he has this poster here which looks like the waiter has one off the hands at the back, which is different than this one. And I have drawn this from scratch because if you use the break apart off a symbol and then you have the pixels there and you only rotate it, it will look like the hands will be loose from the body. So that's why I rather choose to draw it from hand here and used to frame to frame animation. So here I have, then this hands and the other one at the left side, and this is then how I created the waiters movement. So the ice and the moth is drawn from hand as well, which is quite simple. So this is then how you can create the meter as well. You can get any image that is creative comments on the Internet or copyright free, especially images that don't have any face. Features are used for everything or not. 13. Conclusion Skillshare: In case you want to know where the resource files are, you can always had to the bottom off the videos. And then you see the resource is here. So you have the crying foul and you have the foul off the storyboard off the eating animation. So that is then where you can click on it and then you can open the foul and it's it, or you can also save it so that you can look at it later on.
