Project Description

You will use the free writing process to create a brainstorming list of your core desires. Then you will select  between 5 and 7 of them  to use as the catalysts for your vision board image search. You are encouraged to post and share your freewriting samples and chosen catalyst words. This is a great way to get feedback and inspiration on potential image ideas as well as to explore the concepts more fully and dig in deep to gain even more insight into what they mean for you and how they might show up in your life.  Once you find suitable images for your board, you will create your own vision board and share it with the class.

Step one: Watch the course videos to learn the details and background information about vision boards. Check out the attached guide and complete the free writing process to uncover your core desires

Step two: Choose 5 to 7 core desires to use as the catalysts words for your vision board

Step three: Collect supplies. Ask neighbors, friends, local businesses etc for unwanted magazines that you can use to cut images from. You will also need modge podge or glue, scissors and one piece of sturdy poster  board in the size of your choosing.

Step four: without specifically looking for words that relate to your list, cut out all of the images that speak to you or inspire you. Spread the cut out images on the floor or table.

Step five: Now with your catalyst words in mind, sort through the images and create  piles or collections for each catalyst word.

Step five: From each pile pull out the ones that are both visually pleasing to you and that you feel embody the emotion, meaning and experience behind the catalyst word. Choose between 5 and 7 images for each word.

Step six: without gluing anything down experiment with different arrangements of your images on the poster board.

Step seven: Once you have an arrangement that you find pleasing, glue or modge podge the images to the board.

Step eight: take a picture of your vision board and share it in the project's area along with a brief description of your core desires and how they are represented visually in the board. Post your vision board picture on instagram and tag me @kristensbecker

Step nine: Hang or place your vision board in a place where you will see it frequently.

Step ten: Report back to the project area as to how the elements in your vision board have manifested in your life!

Great job! I look forward to hearing follow ups about your manifesting and please post a review.
