1. Introduction vision boards: Hi, everyone. I'm Christine Becker from I am Christian Becker dot com. Welcome to the course. Will, you will learn how to make a vision floored that will actually manifest your dreams and desires and goals. In this course, you're gonna learn about the underlying principles of the why and how that vision boards works. You understand why it's working for you. You're gonna learn how to choose the correct items for your vision board. A lot of people make the mistake actually putting items on their vision board, which are magnifying their limiting beliefs. It's easy to dio. It's very important that you don't do that. So I'm going to teach you how to identify the items that you should put on your vision board. We have a fun process to actually discover those items within yourself, and then once we do that, we're gonna take them and use them to create a really actual visual board that you can use in your everyday life. They're very powerful. It's a very fun process. It's also fun to check back in, um, and update each other with how it's been going and how things have been materializing. So let's go ahead and get started 2. How vision boards work: Okay, so let's talk a little bit more now about how vision boards work. Anybody who's ever used one will likely have all sorts of awesome stories for you. Well, how many specific things from their vision board actually popped up in their life? And it's true, they're very powerful. From one perspective, you can look at vision boards from the universal laws of the universe that say, like attracts, like we're attracted to that which we truly deeply believe, that which we hold deeply in our minds from a belief model perspective. It's also true if you study the sort of psychology and science behind belief models. Oh, that that which you believe you do find to come true in your life. Also, there is just the neuroscience of the subconscious mind. First of all, neural pathways. When you put something on your vision board you are constantly looking at every day, you're constantly building more neural pathways in your brain that are going to enable you to actually make that come true. To take advantage of opportunities to recognize opportunities and to follow through with things, you set your intention, and once you set your intentions and that goes even deeper into your subconscious mind. And the subconscious mind has a wonderful little system called the Particular Activating System. And while we're being bombarded with billions of bits of data per second in our everyday lives, consciously, we only stop and really engage with about 50 bits of data. However, the particular activating system, in our subconscious mind is filtering that data and making decisions about what we do that we don't even realize someone give you a great example. Let's say you decide that you're ready to expand your career and you'd like to do something that potentially involves travel and creativity. So you've got that on your vision board. You're looking at it every day and you're at a party and you don't really notice. You know, there's lots of people, lots of conversations. It just so happens that someone on the other side of the room with that party has just told someone else that they're looking for someone for this new role they've created in their new emerging company. Um, and it involves travel, and I really want somebody creative with a lot of energy, Susie as, um well, so consciously you're not aware of this. However, your particular activating system in your subconscious mind has picked up on this has connected it to that deep, subconscious desire that you have that intention that you set for yourself. And before you know it, you find yourself gravitating towards this person of the party. You find yourself having a conversation with them and which leads to them stating they're looking for someone who would like to travel is very creative. And you say, Wow, that's incredible. I was actually just thinking about that type of job and boom, you're connected. And you're like, Oh, my gosh, it was a beautiful or totally came true And it is all working together. It's all very dynamic, and it's beautiful. So whether you, um, just can say, you know, the universal laws are enough for me, and I just love it or hate a kind of interesting to understand. This is well in this aspect of it. So now you have some more information to give you some insights into how your vision board is going to be working for you. So let's go ahead and move on to the next step of choosing your topics. 3. Avoid limiting beleifs: So you're gonna see during the free writing process to choose your topics that we have a really fun way to dig deeper down into ourselves to come up with our actual core desires. The first I want to talk about the importance of really choosing the right things to put on your vision board. What a lot of people do is they pick things that they think they want, and they don't realize that they're actually magnifying, limiting beliefs when they do that. And here's why that is. Um, let's say you have a limiting belief. You know, most people aren't really aware of exactly what they're limiting. Beliefs are, but you can start to look at patterns and figure it out. Religious. Say someone has a limiting belief that they're not good enough, um, and that people aren't gonna accept them for just who they are. So they might put on their vision board that they want this big fancy car or this beautiful penthouse of Hartman. But really, they have this underlying self esteem limiting beliefs, and they're just looking for those things to try to fill in the void or the gap or make up for it. And so by putting them on your vision board to really doing is reminding yourself and the universe and you know, the laws of attraction, that you have these limiting beliefs. And unfortunately, then you will still continue to draw that Tor Geo. And what I see happening with this type of vision board mistake is that people will temporarily get that fill in, and then it all sort of blows up later, and they can't understand why, because they weren't really focusing on their true core desires and personal feelings. So when you when you look for something in your life because you love it because you're cherish it, that's what you're looking for. You're not looking for something to come into your life to fill a void or to fix you fish awards really about growing from the inside out and not filling in gaps. Make sure you check out the added guide to help you in this process and to understand this process. But when we move on to the next step, which is choosing your concepts, you'll start to see that it's pretty easy to find the things that are your true desires. Using the free writing process 4. Freewriting activity: Okay, Welcome. I think this might be my favorite part of the vision boarding process. Because it's all about you and breaking free of tethers and becoming more creative and really opening up and tapping into yourself and finding out. Hey, what are my core desires and what things, you know, have meetings in my life and do I want to bring more of in my life that are truly about me and coming from the inside out. So to start this process, I want you to do something that shakes. Shakes things up a little, you know, break up your patterns, be silly. Jump around, dance around the kitchen, shake it out a little bit. Um, you know, you don't want to do too much just serious thinking here. You want to really free yourself up to get into the writing process in a way that is all about you and just coming from that fire inside and from inside your heart. So you'll see in the guide. If you want to use that Teoh, just do something silly breaking up. Do something a little different, go to a different environment. Maybe, maybe even outside your home or in open space and natural space, and all you need is pen and paper. And at the top of the paper, you're going to write, uh, between 1903 and seven core words that are very important areas for you when you know just examples Passion, health, vitality, experience, growth. Um, but you will know the right words for you and these Go across the top of your paper and you'll see an example in in, um handout that I have for you. And then what I want you to dio is one by one. So you've got your 3 to 7 core words written across the top of your paper. Then you take your pencil and you can time yourself if you like, Maybe give yourself 123 minutes per word. And underneath you just brainstorm all these words anything that comes into your mind, nothing is off limits. If you say I am under this topic. Word of love and all these different words come, Teoh, um you know, one that came to me for love was generals like Yeah, makes sense because I love gathering together with people and sharing dinner. So don't question any of the words This is free writing. You just keep your pencil moving, um, and brainstorm a really long list of words under each of those main topic words. And then in the next video, we will figure out how to choose the ones from your list that are gonna actually make it onto the vision board. Have fun. 5. Organizing your board: OK, now it's time to start tearing through some magazines. Hopefully have made a collection from friends, neighbors, doctors, offices, whatever. Um, and before you do that, I want Teoh encourage you to be very open minded and creative and not too specific. So, for example, if travel is something that was really came up for you Um and you always want to go to the Amalfi Coast. Don't be looking for a picture of that one location. Instead, look for images that speak to you that that connect with you, that you see something in them that you would like. Teoh just inspires a spark in you. And here's why. Because when you're very specific and you say, Oh, I want to go to the Amalfi Coast Well, then you have only one correct answer. You only have one thing that shows up as a positive as win. Yes. Where is when you say, Oh, I just love to travel. I love to connect. I love to meet people and senior things and be engaged. Probably the universe is gonna provide you with something that's even better than that one specific thing that you thought was what you wanted so leave a lot of creation space. You know, definitely find things that speak to you. Connect with you. Speak to your concepts, but also, you know, do leave some creation space. Don't be too specific. Um, another example would be if if you love urban environments and your goal is to one day move to a city, Um, maybe don't specifically pick the city. You know, you never know. People might show up in your life. Things might happen that draw you to another city that's even cooler. So I'm gonna have a demo coming up here next, and we will get into creating your vision board. 6. Choosing your concepts: OK, now it's time to choose your main concepts for your vision board. As you look at this list and you reflect on it, you might see connections. You might see some of the same words on different lists. You might have a couple of words you want to add. That's cool. Do that, Um, but what we want to do is just really go through each list. Um, do not ever think it don't spend too much time trying to be logical. And what does this mean? And how could this really be help with this? Relate to something in my life. Don't do that. Just trust your gut. Trust your intuition. Go through each list and just circle between one and three words from each of them that just jump out at you. Your intuition is gonna tell you this word, or especially if you see a word repeated from List A list. That's probably a good indication that that's a strong word for you. So go ahead, do that. Take a few minutes, and then you will have your core concepts and ideas. So in the next video, we'll talk about how to visually translate those to your vision board 7. Board demo and use: So I've gone ahead and arranged What I think is probably gonna be somewhat near the final representation of my vision board. And so I narrowed down favorite pictures. As I put them on, I played with using some and taking others away, doing things like cutting out this picture and this picture. And, um, this is a cut out that goes on there, cropped a lot of things down. So as I put it together, I want to tell you about why I selected certain things where I put them where I did just to give you a starting point of how you might put yours together. So let me grab some glue. What I'm gonna do is lightly tack these down and then go back with module podge over the top once they're done to give it a solid surface. So let's talk a bit about some of the words and concepts and ideas that are at play here in the center. I put this image because to me, that sort of indicates myself being the center and growing from within. And that's how I see this all growing from within. Uh, I'm ready for a relationship. I'm ready for some open giving and receiving of love. So there's a lot of that going on there, just the eyes of the kind of person I think I might end up, you know, being attracted to people, camping and just enjoying themselves and being kind to each other. Just representations of the types of things that I'm looking to embody in a relationship when I am getting into one nurturing myself is a huge theme. So that's actually why I put this nice, fresh looking food here. Um, and of course, the couple nurtured in each other and caring for each other. There's a There's a lot going on here about nurturing myself and also with the beautiful flowers that are kind of springing from this fellow's head. I see this always a lot of beautiful nurturing and expanding travel is another thing for me travel and people and meeting people. So we have a lot of just beautiful scenery. I like to be overcome by the beautiful emotions of a beautiful scenery and small hidden places. I don't know if you can see that one that well, and I also just I feel that every moment life should be rich and beautiful. And that's why I picked this this image of this giant artwork on this wall, if you notice it's like a living room on the artwork takes up the whole long. And that to me, embodies how life should always be beautiful. Always be rich in continuance, continuously developing my own spiritual on inner development. Is this section over here with, you know, the yoga, the woman with the rainbow around her head, Spending time with my friends and family, the picture of the kids, the two girls having a great time. I love doing stuff like that and speaking and engaging with others and doing workshops is embodied here and lastly, just always being free and taking advantage of what life has the offers. This girl right here. So that is an explanation behind why I selected some of these things to give you an idea of how you might go about doing that. And then I just sat here and arrange them in multiple different ways and cut them up. And now I'm going to tack them down, and then I will march Project him and then I will show you the final product Now that your vision board is complete, you want to start thinking about where to use it and how to place it in your home. I suggest your bedroom because you're highly suggestible in the evening before you go to bed. And in the morning when you wake up, you should take some time to stand and look at your vision board to really internalize the feelings. Thean motions, the desires, the goals and what they mean to you in your life. Why you selected them, how you feel when those things are present in your life. Spend a lot of time also being grateful for the elements of it that have manifested as they begin to manifest. Give gratitude, stand with the board and be grateful and be thankful to yourself and love yourself for all that you do for yourself. I want to thank you for taking the time to take this course.
