About This Class
Pots for plants can be so expensive! Why waste the money? Instead use everyday household items to create beautiful planters for your succulents and cactus. Plus you'll find a new purpose for your unwanted items before you chuck them away.
In this class you’ll learn how to plant a succulent in an upcycled vessel and create a beautiful piece of garden art. There’s so many different things you can use as planters, and the end result is a unique way to display your plants!
I am a huge fan of upcycling. You might be wondering why? Well, it’s all about taking disposable things and creating something useful from them. Usually the only energy being used is your own and it can save you money too. But more importantly upcycling helps the environment in several ways. Firstly, your old items aren't going to landfill sites. And secondly, it should save you from buying new things, which reduces the need for more goods to be manufactured. It's a win-win!
It’s a common misconception that succulents are impossible to kill! They actually have some very specific care requirements. In this class you’ll also learn how to nurture your plant so that it really flourishes. This class is great for beginners, no green thumb required!
By the end of this class you’ll know how to prepare and create an upcycled planter, how to successfully transplant your succulent and cactus and how best to care for your new plant.

Absolutely lovely, short and instructive to make your home look and feel warm
Bright, fun and cheery class. Good ideas for using cool vessels to plant in. Save on pots and have a creative one... I really like the matching sets of vessels when used together for plants.
