About This Class

Learn how easy it is to repurpose vintage books for making your own unique journals. We begin by deconstructing a found book. Then I cover important tips and tricks for creating new journal pages using your preferred paper so your journal is filled with your favourite textures and colors. Finally, you'll learn a simple long-stitch method to bind your pages into their cover. With these skills you will be able to create journals, travel diaries, scrapbooks, wedding albums, sketchbooks and more.

Journals are such an essential tool in the creative process. They're a necessary place to test ideas, free write, plan, experiment, and play. My aim is to show everyone how rewarding it can be to make your own journals, using your own materials. Then YOU will have the skill set to create one-of-a-kind journals for yourself or to give as gifts. Trust me, once you get started, you won't want to stop!
