1. Introduction.: from Submarino, architect motion designer at three D artists from Algeria. Today we are going to learn how to make three D animation videos. Besides my architectural work, I make experiments in three D software. I cleared short animation loops for music videos, and recently I have made my first short animation movie in this class. We are going to them how to make history animations in this originally style. Through the process, you're going to find your workflow. To create a short animation video, you are going to learn different skills and techniques from creating a three D composition using three D software fixing the image. Three D objects creating environment, adding textures and animated objects creating ushers, animation clip are the effects and the Ren Cola research in Under More. You will need cinema for these two remarks or any other thing this afterward limb you render on Adobe Premiere proof. This class is for the people who want to explore and expand their knowledge in cinema. For the studio maximum, you render on Adobe Premiere Pro who want to learn the basics of Lamu. Render for digital artwork off for architecture. When you complete your project, make sure to upload it in the Projects gallery. I'm very excited to see what we'll be creating and let's get started. 2. Overview of Lumion Render.: in this lesson, we are going to learn the basics of yours and room you're under and the different objects that it offers. The Muir Pro is a rendering software made for architecture. I have been using it in my architectural work for almost three years, but recently I started using it to under my short animation videos compartment to other endurance afterward. I think it's so easy to use and fast in render, and it has its own library with many objects, and it creates the most fascinating landscapes. So here we are, immune pro. This is what you will see when you first open it. I'm using the Lemuel Pro Sex. You can have a recent version For me. The six works just fine. I don't feel the need to change it yet, so we can see different angers, the 1st 1 called New. It has different views. The plane sound set Fontaine's Hills that we can choose from the 2nd 1 examples. It has some examples off landscapes with architectural big banks. I usually delete the architectural objects and leave only the landscapes to work with. We are going to see that in the second animation we are going to create. The third button is for safety and you've been working on, and the 4th 1 is to upload the scenes that you have saved on your computer. As you can see here, this is a scene that I saved earlier. Let's go back to the first anger, chooses the first of you and see what we have to navigate through the landscapes of room you're under. You are going to use the right button off the mouse by holding it, moving its you can turn around in all directions. Use the roller to go forward or backward. We can see in this view we have the ground, the sky with the sun and some crowds. Also, we have some buttons in the right side and the left side. The buttons on the left side are for creating and important, adding objects from the library, moving, rotating and more. The buttons on the right side are for creating. Videos are the effects, taking pictures, saving scenes and they're on their own. Let's start from the left side. The first button is for the weather. With it, we can control the Sunday election like this. The heart we can take it down, get a sunset moment, for example. From here we can control the amount of the clouds, the some brightness, and we can choose the type off the clouds we want. This is all for the weather button. Let's see the next one, which is the landscape. Let's turn it up to have a better view. From here, we can make a bumps in the ground. We can also take it down. We can flat in the ground, make informations, and we can smooth it. We have also hear some birds to control the size and the spit off the brush for bigger landscapes. Then we have this view right here with different textures off the ground that we can choose from back to the green one. Let's see the other buttons. We have here a water button to create water surface that you can control as well. Then we have the ocean. Let's turn it on with control buttons for the intensity, the directions, the colors and Amar. You can take your time and explore with that the next thing the painting toe to create different textures on the ground. Also, from here, you can create mountains and super high mountains. And then we have the grass. You can control the height undersize the next thing the material is. But before we dive into it, we are going to read a three D object or a surface. I have prepared one. So let's are did from the objects butter and go to import import. New object selected and hit open So we have this spherical shape here. We can control it from here, moving in different directions. Skate it, turn it around, dilate it. If you don't need it anymore, let's go back to the materials button. See, like the opera elect first. Once you selected, you will have this material stop. We have different options, the nature for different types off the ground, rock textures, soil, water and more. Also, we have this indoor button with different textures fabric, glass, meter, stone for the outer button as well. There are many options. We're going to see only objects that we are going to need to create our animation videos. The other ones concerns architecture. Let's go back to the object button. The 1st 1 the natural library. It has trees, plants, flowers in different shapes and colors. I'm going to add a tree right here. We can also add some effects, like fire and smoke. This is all what you are going to see in this left side that we're going to need. The other buttons has architectural objects that I recommend for you to explore. Let's jump to the right side. We are going to focus on this one, the firm button Click on it. We can start by hitting record. So now we can create the first shot off our video, adjust the view, always use in the right button off the mouse and take the first shot, move a little bit and created the second shot. So basically, really render is going to create a video by connecting the shot so that you make here. Let's take another chart like this, hit play and see how this looks from here. We are going to see the effect click here to are the new effect. I'm going to add the sun just like the weather button. You can control the height on the direction off the sun. Let's add the clothes the same thing. You can control it from here. Take your time to make the perimeters and see what kind of effects you want. Um, Orender is very simple to use. You just need to take your time and make experiments with different materials and different effects. Let's see what else? There are many other effects that you can add for color corrector, but I usually do it in Premiere Pro. So these are the basics of Lamu render very easy. It just needs some time off experiments to find your workflow and combine it with Three days afterward, the last thing to say were created. Just click here. Andi chooses the size of the number or frames and hit. OK, this is all for this lesson. See you in the next one with creating three different scenes. 3. The Piano Scene: Creating a Landscape in Lumion Render and Importing the 3D Model.: in this lesson, we are going to choose a landscape modifies than import our three D model open room you're under. We are going to pick a landscape. I'm gonna choose this one that I used to create this project previously it's very simple. Just the sky and the ground. The first thing we are going to do is to create the ocean and the land To do so. Go to landscape button, choose ocean, then turn it on. And we have our ocean. As you can see, we have some other parameters here. If you want more details and more control. But I'm gonna leave it like that now we are going to create the land on the same top click on heart, Choose raise, change the brush, size and the speed and click on the ocean. Now we have our land For more details and more natural. Look, click on the flattened button and click on the edge. This is too much. I'm gonna and do it change the brush, size and speed, then click again. So now if we look closely, we can see the waves on the edge which adds more movement. The next thing we are going to do is change in the type off the landscape. I'm gonna pick this one right here. When you finish with the landscape, import your three d modern, go to object imports import knew more than pick up the three D model and hit open hit. Okay, one click on the place where you want to place your model. I'm going to rotate it and make it possible to the ocean line. This is on for this lesson. CEO in the next one on our than textures and three D objects. 4. The Piano Scene: Applying Materials and Adding Animated 3D Objects.: in this lesson we are going to are the textures to our city model. Then we are going to other tree the flowers and the butterflies. Let's start with the textures, See, like the material button. Then select the object. Now we have this stop goatee indoor. Choose meta. I'm gonna pick the 1st 1 Double click on it. Let's modify the perimeters. I'm gonna change the quarter to the black Andraka reflectivity down. I'm gonna scare it down to get rid off these bombs for this piano. I should go with the wood, but it want to give you the reflection on the glossy anus. So don't be afraid to try different materials and see what works best And what looks more natural now for this plane inside. Since we are going to feel it with the flowers, let's make it green on the material Stop. Go to nature. I'm gonna pick this one, double click on it and change the color. I'm gonna make it dark green. Now let's add the flowers. Go to the nature button, go to the flowers angle. I'm gonna pick this one right here, place it on the piano, scale it down to make herpes click on the model, holdout and drug. Try to fill the place, and to avoid the intersection with the model, I'm gonna take another flower model. This one has some green in it. Skated. Don't. It's all about the visual. Take your time and see what works better. And now let's at the butterflies and the dent. Lions on the same top on the plants angle choose, then lions place them beside the piano. Now let's add the butterflies, places and beside the piano as well. This looks good. Let's all jittery behind the piano. I'm gonna take this one. Put it in place, rotate it little bit, scale it up. Let's add the leaves for more movement. I'm gonna choose this one. Place it on the tree. Make sure you check it from the top to make sure it's where center. Go to modify and change the colors off their lives and make it the same color as the flowers on the tree. We finish this lesson. See you in the next one with creating the clip ardent effects on their own 5. The Piano Scene: Creating a Video, Adding Effects and Rendering.: in this lesson, we are going to create a short clip, other effects, and render it. We are going to use the left buttons. Click on the film button, then hitter occurred. Now we can create the first frame off our video. Pretend like you are taking a picture with your phone or your camera, so make sure it's well aligned and centered. Then take a picture hit back to get access to the effects. Stop. We're going to create effects first. Then we are going to continue, create and defend Hit on you effect. You have many options, but I'm gonna keep it simple and pick only the sun on the clouds and leave all the caller retouching for premier Peru. You can tweak the parameters and choose the direction and the height of the sun. I'm going to create a sunset, a golden our moment rotated on the other side to get that shadow effect on the floor, take your time and try different things. Hit play to see the entire scene on the club's stop, I'm gonna do like up the clouds, softness and the close speed. Let's see how it looks you like down the clouds amount. I'm gonna other more effects. The God raise effect. It's very intense. So let's turn it down. You can see the sun rays on the leaves off the tree. Tweak it a little bit. Back to the cloud. Staab. I'm gonna do like down the sky brightness. Now we can go back to create the film. Let's choose the second Friday Libya Render is going to relate your friends to create a video, so make sure it's well aligned and the distance between the shots, if the same, to get the same speed on the entire video. Now for the last frame, let's see how it looks. I'm gonna readjusted the first frame. I think it's too far. It's all about the visual and the effects. Let's play it again. I think now the clip is looking good, but I'm gonna make my less change. I'm gonna change the position off the butterflies and drag it down to the level of the camera so they can appear on the video. Let's check it again. I think this looks better and it adds more life to the video. When you finish, you can say with by clicking on the saving button. You can choose the frames and the size. I'm gonna go with 720 p in 60 frames per second. I recommend to always go to 60 frames per second in Romeo so you can modify the speed in Adobe Premiere Pro because the dynamic objects like the butterflies under than lions usually end up moving to first in the final render. We finish this lessons here in the next one with the color retouching and adobe premiere pro. 6. The Piano Scene: Color Retouching in Adobe Premiere Pro and Exporting the Final Video.: in this lesson, we are going to use Adobe Premiere Pro to change the speed off. Our video may call a reduction at some music, then exported. Here we are in Adobe Premiere Pro. Let's import our video that we just rendered Double click on the project manager. Select your video hit. Okay, then drag it into the timeline manager. Let's play it. We can see it's moving too fast, but we can extend it without damaging the clip. Since we exported in 60 frames per second, let's do it. The audio first, right click on the mouse on length, then delete That's extended duration off our video, right click on it. Speed duration, then make it 60%. Let's see how it looks. This is better. Let's add some effect at an adjustment layer. First, we are going to apply the effects on it on the Project manager. Click on this little box adjustment layer, drag it on top of our video, then go to limit Cherie Koller. Change the contrast to 50 that I'm gonna add another adjustment layer. Jenna, get on both the video and the first adjustment layer. I'm gonna add an effect, which is the child blur. Drag it here, changed the blending mode to lighten. Then change this three callers to fight for each. This will make it a little bit blurry and enhances the hazy look off the sky. Let's add music. Double click on the project manager. Select your own music. Gerard it on the timeline. I just did. The last touch is added the game. Constant effect for the audio so we won't have the sudden cut of the sound and the fading black at the end. Off the clip. When you're finished, you go to fire expert media. Choose their name and the placement of your video, then hit expert. We finish with this lesson. See you in the next example for 7. The Car Scene: Creating a 3D Composition in Cinema 4Din Cinema 4D.: in this lesson. We're going to receive him off or D to create a three D composition. We're going to import the car, Modify it. Then we are going to import the crystals and distribute them around the car. Open cinema four D toe, upload the car model, go to fire, merge and specify the placement off the car hit. Okay, the only change we're going to make is open in the cup. We are going to fill it with flowers later. In them, you're under to turn the cup This way. We noticed that the axes are in the centre off the model. So is the center of the rotation, and we wanted to be in the edge to change it. Turn on, enable access hit, see on the keyboard, then move it where you want it to be. Using the four views. Make sure it's were centered and well aligned. When you get it on place, turn off. Enable access. Now you can rotate it properly. Minus 35. Looks good. Now we are going to create a plane to is it as a support for our plants and flowers. Later in them, you're under on Create choice plane, drag it up and scale it. What's the sites to avoid any intersections? Let's import the Kristers, go to fire, merge and pick the crystals fire. Let's did it. This camera editor, we don't need it. Select the Kristers and place them in front of the car just like this. Depend on the visual and see what works for you and how you want it to look. I want it right in the center, but I don't want it to hide the car lamps because we are going to light them up in them You're under. I'm going to scale down with the crystals, make Korpi and drag it on the back. But what I said and drag it on the car we can see here. It creates a continuity with the other crystals, so it looks like they belong to the same composition. Let's make other copy. Place it on the other side, rotated and drag it a little bit. I just it see how it looks with the other objects. Let's make another copy. John. I get here, scale it down, toe there a 0.5. Place it somewhere. Here. Check your entire scene from the sides When you finish, you can export it. Go to fire expert. True his FB X then hit. Okay, this is all for this lessons here in the next one. With them you're under 8. The Car Scene: Modifying the Landscape and Importing the 3D Model into Lumion Render.: in this lesson. We are going to choose one off the examples off Longmuir, enter and modify it. Here we are in Lumia Render Let's go to the example Stop and choose one off them. You can pick any scene you want today. I'm gonna choose this one. We noticed that we have ah, house model and a very flowery environment around it. We are going to delete the house model and the objects of that are inside and keep only the environments to work with. So let's select the delete button and take off everything we don't need. I'm going to speed the process for this part. I'm gonna did it to the trees in the back as well, because we are not going to need it. It's only gonna make our seen more heavy Now we finished the rate and everything. We don't need that. Start working with our CNN click on import import objects. Choose the model we saved earlier. Rename it because I already have a model with this name. I'm going to put our composition in this place right here. It's so big. So let's scale it down. I just did a little bit so it fits with the other elements off our scene. This is all for this lesson. So you in the next one with the textures and other three D objects. 9. The Car Scene: Applying Materials and Adding Animated 3D Objects.: in this lesson. We are going to add materials to our three D model at flowers, butterflies and some effects to our project. Let's start with the car material. Go to the material button. She likes the car. Go to the indoor angle. True is metal. I'm gonna pick the 1st 1 Let's modify the color. You can pick any quality you want Lesson dragged down the reflectors. Now let's make the glass material on the same angle indoor. Go to glass. I'm gonna pick this one right here. Double click on it to change the problem eaters. I'm gonna do like up the opacity the same way. Let's add the material on this part off the car. Make it black. Meto apply material on the wheels. Black metal as well. Let's pass to the lamps selected on the material. Stop Choose costume the light map Jagoda ambience to the limit. I think I'm gonna modify the car color and make it lighter like this. Now let's apply the material on the Kristers selected. Go to indoor, pick up the perp A glass. Did you like it down in the corner? You like up the capacity? That's other material to this plane here on the material top choose their nature. Anger picking a green ground, the material change of the corner to a dark green. Let's modify the environment around the car a little bit. Add more flowers to duplicate it. Selected. Hit out and drag it and we have finished with the materials. Let's at flowers on the car, on the nature button. Choose the flowers angle. Let's pick some purple flowers. I'm gonna pick this one. You can choose any model. We want this. Place it on the car. You can scale it if you need to make sure it doesn't intersect with the car duplicated and distributed on the plane. I'm gonna fill this anti earlier. Go to the other side and make sure it doesn't intersect as well. I'm gonna pick another model. This one looks good. Let's add it on the plane. I'm gonna speed this part, depend on the visual. Take your time and see what works the best. Now we have finished with the flowers. Let's add some, then lions and butterflies on the same panel on the plants angle pick of the done lions places them beside the car. Now let's add the butterflies places them on both sides. The last thing we are going to add is that the fog to make it look a little bit blurry. Go to effect and bring the fog. Choose one and place it here. Let's modify the density and drag it down. This looks good. This is all for this lessons you in the next one with creating the film and other effects. 10. The Car Scene: Creating a Clip, Adding Effects and Rendering.: in this lesson, we are going to create a short scene at effects. Do it then we are going to under it. Click on the film button, choose an anti rectangle double click on it, then hit record that search our model. I'm gonna do, like the focal lengths down, toe around. Chieftain. Let's fix the first position off the camera I'm gonna set from here. To violate the position off the Camaro, create a shot. Let's create the second shot. See how it looks. I think we have a lot of empty space behind the car. I'm going to add another plant. I'm gonna pick this one. Place it and scale it up. Multiply it and place it around the car. Let's see how it looks. This looks better. Let's continue. Create an hour video. Do the same thing for the rest of the shots. Make sure everything is aligned and the car is in the center. Let's see how this ducks you can always go back and modify it. Create other shots when you finish. That's odd effects. Do it. I'm going to pick the sun and the crowds to make the perimeters the height on the position of the sun. Make sure to avoid the shadows and the dark spots for the clouds. I'm gonna rise up the clubs, softness and the amount. John. I get done with this guy brightness at the more low clouds. I think this is enough for the effect. I'm going back to our scene to rise up a little bit of fog density. This looks better. Let's change the position off the butterflies and put them in the same level off the camera . Let's check how it looks when you finish with the effects. You can save your video, go to save, choose the size and the number off frames. Specify the placement and the nine then hit. Okay, this is all for this lesson. CEO in the next one with color retention and Adobe Premiere Pro. 11. The Car Scene: Color Retouching in Adobe Premiere Pro and Exporting the Final Video.: in this lesson, we are going to make cholera touching in Adobe Premiere Pro at Music than export our final video Open Adobe Premiere Crow Import our video that we just turned Earth. Double click on the Project manager. See, like the video hit open. Drag it on the time line manager play to see how it looks. It's moving to first, but we are going to extend it. First, let's release the audio, right click on the mouth and link, then deal it. Let's extended duration off our video, right click on it. Speed duration than make it 60%. Play it and see how it looks. This is much better. Let's jump to the effects at an adjustment layer on the Project Manager. Click on this little icon adjustment layer. Can I get on our video? Then go to the effects search for Channel Blur. We want to make it a little bit clearly. Drag it on the adjustment layer, change the blend in more to lighten, then change each one of these callers to five. Now let's add music or a sound effect. Double click on the project manager. Select your sound effect. Drag it on the time line manager. I just it the last touch is added the game constant for the music, so we won't have that Southern cut off the sound and the saving black effect at the end. Off the clip. When you finish, go to file export media. Choose the name and the placement of your video, then hit export. This is all for this lesson. See you in the next example. 12. The Phone Booth Scene: Creating a Landscape Shape in 3D Studio Maxhape in 3D Studio Max.: in this lesson we are going to is three d studio marks to create the landscape. This is the starting screen in three D studio marks. To maximize the view, see laughter. Perspective you than click on us W Let's start with the landscape. Create Akron shape, make it 300 radios and on height, make it 40 for the height segments and 50 for the sites. Now let's make it in the table. To do so, go to the modifier list and choose eligible polygon. Select the segments and check soft election. Change the file off the 60 the pinch to their opponents. 15 and the brush size to 130 now hit on paint and create a random circles on our corn just like this. When you finish, make sure the movinto selected and dragged down the circles to de select this election and check the locks off selection than hit paint again. Select all the void between the previous circles. Select the moving tool and you lock them down. I'm gonna drug this a little bit more just like this.
