About This Class

Lyric video in After Effects

In this course, we will learn how to create a lyric video in After Effects. We will create a lyric music video in a fun Fall style.

We will use different techniques and create this lyric video in Falling style.

  • We will create the moving background, and we will loop it.
  • We will create the text, and we will learn how to extrude it in After Effects.
  • Then we will animate this text
  • We will create a particle system that will help us make the illusion that text is falling, even if it stays in the middle of the screen.
  • We will use the text that we created, and we will make the lyrics for the whole song.
  • Finally, I will show you how to render your video in Adobe Media Encoder.

I will show you everything step by step, so you will be able to make your lyric video even if you never used After Effects before. At the end of the course, you will have good knowledge of creating a lyric video. Follow my instructions and make your video in the way that you like.

Now you need to find the song that you like and join me in the class.

1. Intro: Hi, I'm Gytis. I'm mostly working with musicians and I'm creating videos for their music. In this course, I will teach you how to make a lyric video in After Effects. We will create the lyric video in 3D folding textile. Yeah, I know the style doesn't exist, but I was inspired by one very popular video game and I bought bet it would be cool to create a lyric video in a similar style. In the beginning, we will create the background that will help us achieve appealing bed for Texas falling down, even if it stays in the middle of your screen, then we will create an animated text that will be the base for our lyric text by duplicating Vet Text again and again, we will create for the lyrics for the wall song. Don't worry if you use After Effects for the first time. I will show you how to make everything step-by-step. At the end of the course, you will have a good knowledge on how to work in 3D environment, on After Effects, how to work with text, and how to create infinite moving backgrounds. Follow my instructions, create a lyric video and show it to everyone in the class project. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment. I will help you as best as they can. Now, you need to find the song that you like and join me in the next class. 2. Adjust the view: So let's start with project by opening After Effects. And you probably have a different view than I do. If you are an advanced After Effects user, you can use your own view. But if you are new, it would be easier to follow me if you, if we would have the same view. So let's go to Window Workspace and choose Default. And to be sure that we have the same default settings, reset default to save settings. Now we should have the same view and to see the same thing. 3. Create the composition: And let's create a new composition. Will name it lyric video, and I will choose HDTV 1080, 25 frames per second. You can choose any resolution you can make it in for K, I will make a DNA to be this time. My song is something like three minutes long, so you can adjust the duration based on your needs. You will be able to change that duration and all the settings later on if you need, but it's a good habit to start on the right foot. So let's press Okay. And Let's see in the future you would like to change the settings so you can press right mouse button and composition settings. You will have the same window. You can change the iteration, you can change the resolution, et cetera. So. 4. Create the background: Let's continue and let's create a background. So let's breast with the right mouse button, new and solids. So we, we, we will create a new solid which I'll name the BG, which means background. And I will choose the color. I see that it's already chosen. I will use this color. You can make your own color. It's up to you, but if you would like to, to make it step-by-step in the same way that I do. You see the color is seven, b, 13 CFS, so you can choose that one and let's continue. So we have a background. Now what I would like to do, I would like to create an illusion that whatever is on the screen is falling. Actually, we can't do that on the blank color, so we need something like shadows or something like that. So we will create some basic shapes, actually rectangles. So press on the empty space because if you will draw that on the background, you will draw a mask. I'll show you, we'll draw a max, a mask, so I will get back by a Control Z. I'll press on empty space or anything else except the layer. And I will draw the same thing, V-shape, rectangular. And as you see it will draw a new shape. You can press right mouse button and rename, or you can just press Enter. And to write the name of layer, I will write, I will name it, maybe BG shape. So I will know what it is. It's a good habit to name everything. It's easier to work in that way. Now, I would like to make that shape move a little bit and not to be that perfect in form, I will go to the Effects and Presets, and I will search for Turbulent Displace. I see it here, but you can turbulent noise, turbulent displays. I will drag and drop it on V-shape. And you can see that we have turbulence, the display settings. It already maze changes in the shape. I wanted to just let, let's say if I will change the amount, you can see that I would like to have you can see that I would like to have less less deformation, something like 15. And I would like to change the size. I would like to have more waves, man, we have now. So we'll decrease it. Or I should increases, I should decrease it. So I'll press this to toggle mask. I will disable this so I will see it better. Something like that. I think it looks good. But as we move on the timeline, it doesn't move at all. So we need to change the evolution. And as you see, if I will change the evolution, it is moving. Right? You see that? So I will get back to 0. To do that, I need to insert an expression. So it's very easy. Don't be scared about just work. Let's go to ethics, Terman displays and evolution. You see this stopwatch and it's already said what to do? You need press Alt and press this stopwatch. Nba will let you insert their expression basically. So I would like to insert time. Times, times 1, 0, 0, 0, 0. What it does, it will take the time and multiplies it by a 100. Just the same like, like we wrote in the expression windows. So if I will set it on 15 seconds, it will rotate 4442 times and 80 degrees. So let's play it. And it looks really, really good. I liked the one thing that I missed. At first. I forgot to insert the music. Now we see that the background is moving, but I don't know how fast it should move and it's easier to work on the music video when you have the music. So let's get back to a project that will click and search for the song bed you would like to insert. I purchased this beautiful live by 2 Meg Morris on Envato. I will leave a comment on the video where to find the song if you like it. I'm not shy of the system. System will allow me to do that, but I will try. If you 15 and any any link or something like that. So that means that the blood from won't allow me to do. So. Import it, import your song and move it to them. Timeline. So we have a song. As I said, my song is less than three minutes long, yards on my B in different lengths. So you can change the length of a timeline. Some quick, really good shortcuts when you work with a music. For example, if you double-click L, l, L, you will see a waveform. And it's really useful when, especially when you work with lyric videos to see this wave, wave form. And where the beats that starts, where it ends. It's way, way, way easier to work in that way when you see visually, when you see the music visually. So that's a good tip, which I use a lot. Okay, So we have a music, we have a little momentum on the background. And let's see how it looks with music. One thing that I would like to change on the background shape. Let's get back to Effect Controls. I would like to change the amount and I would like to see no, No, Not amount. I'm sorry. I would like to change the size. Would like to see less size or maybe increase it a little bit. To see it more vision, to see later and increase their amount. Just a little bit. I think that's good. Okay, Let's duplicate this shape by pressing Control and D on this layer. And we have a duplicate. I will move as duplicate to something like here. I think they are a little bit too wide, so I will narrow them. I don't want them to look the same. So I will left one a little bit larger than the other one. And let's see how it has background. It looks like. So far, so good. It already has some effect. And I think well that we can leave a background as it is for now. If we would like to change, we could change that in the, in the future. When we have more details on the video, it will be easier to see what's not working and what's working really, really well. So I will select all those shapes. I will precompose those, so I will press right mouse button and pre-compose. I would like to move all the attributes into the new composition, and I will name it BG as background. So we have one composition layer, which is the background. If we want, we can turn it off and turn it on. 5. Fixing bugs: A quick flashback from the future. When I was recording this video, I didn't notice one bug, which I noticed after, after I rendered video. So as you see, everything is fine. I'll open this up. Turbulent display evolution. Yeah, So we have the same expression and everything's fine. All the lines are moving and suddenly it stops. So somewhere around nine dx it stops. I don't know why it happens. I guess that's the limitation of After Effects and it can go further than 992 times. So we need to find the solution, how to fix that? We can slow down the movement by decreasing the number, let's say time times 50, but that will decrease the speed of the movement that we have. So I don't really like that. And I think that the easiest way to fix that is just to stop somewhere here while we still have a movement to to cut V-shape and loop it out. So what we need to do, I will cut it by Alt and right bracket. And I will do with him with another shapes. So Alt and right brackets. I will select both all shapes and I will precompose those. We didn't. We already do that. So pre-compose and I will name it. Background. Shape. Match would be good. And now I can loop this, this composition because here we don't have those both shapes. So to do that, we will, I will press right mouse button and I will go to time and enable time remapping. As you can see, it already extended our, our composition, but after 30 second mark, our shape is gone. So what we need to do, we need to insert the expression here. So again, I will press Alt and the stopwatch, and I will write a loop out expression, just that my loop. And you can see different option Lubin, loopOut, looping duration, loopOut duration. We just need to loop out. Just click on it, click somewhere else. And we have a loop. Infinite loop. As long as we need. We can loop 1 second, 2 seconds, couple of frames. It doesn't matter. So that's a really useful, useful thing. However, there is one issue with that. It's easy to fix, but at the end of the loop, the last frame usually doesn't have footage in it. We can easily fix that just by backing one frame back in, set a keyframe, and set this frame as the last frame. And now we don't have any, any issues. It is perfectly looked. So that's my solution for this problem. And let's get back to the video. 6. Create the text: And now let's continue to work with the text. So create a new text. And we have an empty layer. We can just write text, text, text. Okay, let's remove the stroke. At first. I don't know why I have it. But let's change the stroke to 0 and even remove a 0 on the wrong layer. So when I go to Text, I can remove the stroke. And I have a text in the way or color, and we'll make it maybe white for now. I would like to make this text in 3D. So to enable 3D, you can press this 3D layer button. If you don't see it, you can press F4. If, let's say you see this view, you can press F4 and it will allow you to visit Cuba, which will turn your layer into 3D layer. It's very likely that your settings are on classic Friday, which is the default on on After Effects. You can do a lot of things with that. Let's try to open another view. You don't need to do that. I will. I just wanted to demonstrate how this text looks from different angles. So new UBA, new viewer, I will change from active camera to custom view. And you see our text, which is text. If I will press this, I could orbit around the text and see how it looks. As you can see, it's very plain. If we see I did from from the side or from the top, Let's see. From the top, it won't be even visible because it waits now it doesn't have any weight. But if we will go to the custom view, you can clearly see that. So I would like to extrude this text to make it thicker and to make it look like 3D. On the classic 3D view, we can't do that. After Effects do not allow it to do that. So, but we can change that. If we go to this menu. If we press this renderer, classic 3D, we can one out. You can see this only when we have a 3D object on, on your composition. If I will turn this off, we can't see that options. So when I turn on the 3D option, I can see it. So let's change it to Cinema 4D renderer. And you already see. What's, what is enabled so we can extrude, we can create the reflections and many, many things. But on the other side, this renderer disables a lot of things. That's why it's not used very often. But in our video, met, that's fine and that's what we want to do. And another thing when you get back to After Effects and maybe to the other projects member to get back to your classic 3D view because you will be missing a lot of Egypt's like drag maths, layer styles, mask and efforts on rasterized layers and everything's even motion blur. A lot of things missed, but that's what we want to do in this branch. So press Okay. And now you can see that we still have, I'll decrease the quality a little bit. We don't have the weight on mutex, so expand the text. Let's go to Geometry options. And you can see already that we have an option to increase during extrusion depth. So let's do about and you see we are increasing. From the front, we can't see any changes, but from the other side we can see that we have a thick extruded text. One thing which I don't feel like is red wall text is in the same color and it's, it doesn't have shadows and other things. We can add a lights and that will drop the shadows. And it will have a little different colors. Lights in front, in the back, and on top sides, et cetera. But we don't need to do that actually weekend, do that manually. And I think that will be better for this project. I will change the text into the different color, not white. I will get back to that greenish color that I have before. I will change it a little bit, maybe let's make it a little bit blue, something like that. So we have this text color and I would like to add a different color on the top sides and et cetera. We basically can't see both parts of the text. So we can go to animate on vertex layer and the side, color and RGB. And that will, let us do choose the color for extruded areas. Now it's red. I will change it to the text color and I will make a darker, something like that. Now it looks way better. We still can't see that from the front. But on the other view, we can clearly see that the text is freely and it has shadows, et cetera. We can turn it off this VCE view. We can work with the text. 7. Animate the text: Because my plan is to create one text layer and use it as a template for the wall lyric video. I will create this layer in the way that I want. And then I will adjust it a little bit based on the situation when I will working on this project. So I will press B to start a work area. And I don't know in something like three seconds, I'll press N. So in this area, I will have my text animation, which we will create in, in now, ultra, not the music for now because we don't need met. I would like you to move to the center at first. Maybe like that. I think that's good. I would like to fall from the top to be a little bit in vCenter and dropped down, down from the screen. So let's go to position by pressing B. Or maybe let's go to the transform settings. Just by expanding with text layer and transform settings. You can see that we have positioned free, free options, x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis. I would like to separate both. So I just press a right mouse button and separate domain dimensions. Now I have all the x's on the different settings on this animation when it will drop and it will drop to the screen and drop out of the screen. We will use the y-axis. So I will just press on the stopwatch and it will insert, insert keyframe. I like this one and add at the beginning. Also, I will make this text layer a little bit smaller to cut. For example, the left part of the layer. We can press Alt and left brackets. And to cut to the other parts, you can press Alt and the right bracket so we have a shorter text layer. You can also adjust it by a, by a mouse. That's totally fine. And at the beginning, I would like to change the position that we text would be out of the screen, some somewhere like that. Advance. I would like to make the same thing. I will copy this keyframe by control C and control V. And we'll move it at the end out of the screen. Something like that. So now we have this animation. Takes drops, stays a little bit and drops out of the screen. But it doesn't look like it's falling, right? Let's work with those keyframes limits, so select them all. And you can press just F9 to enable easy, Easy Ease. Virtual them enable it. If you forget the shortcut, you can press right mouse button and go to keyframe assistant and easy, ease. And here you can see the other shortcuts for in other functions. You can see that now my animation looks a little bit better, but we can improve it. What I would like to do, I would like that. It will fall very quickly and at the end, it will slow down and slowly get into the position. And Advent, it will start, fall slowly and then it will get a speed and pestle go out of the screen. To do that, we can go to the wiper, select Y position and enable this graph editor. If you see the things differently, it can be Yvette you in the value graph, which looks like that. But we want to work with the speed graph. So we can select those keyframes and move this slider to the right. You can see that at the beginning we have the highest speed and then it will slow down a little bit. But I would like to move this also to here. And as you can see, it's very, very fast and vanity slowed down. Here. We would like to make the same just in the opposite side. And now animation looks like when it starts very fast and it moves into position, and then it moves out. Again, increase this a little bit more. That's exactly what I would like to see. It's possible that this yep. That's exactly what I would like to see. But 8. Animating with expressions: On the other hand, the text doesn't look like it would be floating here in the background. We would like to have some changes. For example, when the Texas floating, it moves a little bit. It is not stable at, at one at one place. So it moves a little up and down. It would be a lot of job to do that with key-frames, up and down movements. So we will use expression again. If you remember, we used expression on, on the background. When we enabled turbulent display evolution. I don't know why it's changed, but we need to change the active camera view. Now we will use a little bit different expression and we will use it on Y position. I would like that with text would move up and down slightly and not very fast. So we will use one of the most popular expressions. It's wiggle expression. To enable the expression, you just need to click out. As you can see here, ALP and again on here. And we can write an expression. So, right wiggle. After Effects already suggests this expressions available. So I will choose wiggle and I need to write two numbers. The first number will mean how often we will have a moment. M0. Second number means how big the movement. It's, I know it sounds a little bit complicated at the moment, but will you will see what it means. I tasted bad before and 20 and 15 worked with best. For me. Let's render it a little bit. But you already see that with text moving up and down, up and down, up and down. And that looks quite good. We can play with this wiggle a little bit. Let's see if I will increase the second number to something like 50. It will move way more. It will have a same movement speed, but it will move with us way more. I don't want that. And if I will increase this first number, something like ten, it will look like crazy jazz. It's just take a second to trend of this view. See, it's so experimented with this. I played a little bit with those numbers before. And 2015 on y-axis worked the best for me. You can play a little bit by yourself and see how it looks for you. But for me, that's, that was the best. We see the text moving up and down. We can make it move a little bit too, on the X axis. Here and here. Something like that. We don't need that much movement. So we can add wiggle with something like free and free. Again, I density. And it looks good for me. Know it moves at all sides. I don't really need the movement on Z position, which moves texts downwards the screen and to the other side. However, I would like to see some movement in rotation. Let's see how it looks, if it will rotate on its axis. That allows us to see the with 3D effect that we created. So I would like it to move max 20 degrees. I wouldn't like to move warm than that. Let's create another expression, wiggle. And this time let's use two and 20. And what's wrong? Oh, I didn't add common birds. Now it should be fine. Yep. But I started my wiggling at 20 degrees and we'll change that to 0 because I would like it to rotate to both sides, to positive and negative. And that looks quite good. Let's see how it would look. If we would rotate it on y-axis. It would have this rotation. We can enable slight rotation like Matt. I'm not sure if that does necessary. We can leave it without any rotation. That would be really fine. The more important part is visiting the rotation that would add some ethics that the text is falling. Let's add VCM expression wiggle. And let's try 25. That looks quite good. We can also add y rotation. I don't think it's necessary, but we can try and see how it looks. Yeah, that looks quite good. It looks like it's floating and it falls down. It drops a little bit floating and a drop zone. 9. Create particles for the background: So this animation looks quite good. The next thing that I would like to do is to increase the falling sexuality by adding some particles which shooting from the bottom to the top that would make a stronger effect, but the text is falling. Let's do that. I will disable text for, for now. And I will create a new solid which I will name particles. And I will make it white. It doesn't matter what color you will choose. I will just see the white color here, so that's my preference. And let's search for effect CC Particle world. So I will write particle and I will drag and drop this effect on my layer. As you can see, I have a particle fountain, which is not what we wanted. So let's change some settings. First of all, I would like to change their physics. Let's change the gravity. By default, it set 0.5 Earth gravity. I would like to make a negative gravity. That means bed negative gravity. We'll shoot the particles up, not down. So and I will set it to minus one, would be a normal gravity just upside down. You can see it shoots up. The next thing. Let's change the producer. Let's change the y position. Let's move the core of this particle world out of screen. So let's move that down and let's increase the radius of x. That means we will make it wider. That looks way, way, way better. But it's not what we would like to achieve. Let's go back to normal. Let's go to particle and change beeline to the lens core of x. So we have some kind of a bubbles going up. And that looks quite good. But I don't want bubbles. I would like to have a straight lines, so I will add the blur. And let's search for blur effect. I want a directional blur. Yeah, directional blur. Let's add particles and increase the blur. Length. Still doesn't look good. Maybe like that. And now you see that it's not very visible. So what we can do, we can increase the levels, changed the level of sexually. Let's search for levels. Added here. Let's change from RGB to alpha and more. Setting till your habit. Something like that. Maybe something like that. It still looks very strange because we have too much particles. Let's degrees it by eye will decrease it by 10 times 0.2. And now we have way less particles. But as you can see, we have an explosive physics, which means that particles go up and a little bit too, besides, I would like to remove that at all. So I will change velocity to 0. And now the particles shoots straight up a couple more settings. Let's get back to the particle settings and let's change the size, the birth sides. I think it's too big. Let's change it to 0.1. Let's change with death sides also. I will increase besides variations to a 100. So we will have longer and shorter particles to a 100 and I will increase the opacity to a 100. And that looks quite nice. I think that looks good. Maybe one thing, I think it's still we have too much particles, but I will fix that by increasing bit x-ray radius and we will have m spread more widely. And that looks really nice. I will enable the text. And you can see how it looks with the text. Yeah, it looks wide good. But as you probably noticed one issue, the particles going on top of your texts, we can change, but very easy. Just move particles below the text and the text will be on, on top. And that's really, really good. Now we have all the visuals and I think we can move to creating the actual lyric video. Before moving on, I think it's a good habit to save the file. So file save just HIV and Morton files and lyric video version one. And I will just save, and from now on, I just need to press control S once and awhile and to save a project. 10. Create lyrics: So we have our basic text animation which we will use throughout all the video. And and yeah, my working process basically on lyric videos. I, I create the lyrics for the wall song. And then I see what is working, what's not, what need, what we need to change here as my lyrics. And let's chain, Let's create those five lines I already searched. The chorus part is here, mostly white lines. What I wanna do at first, I will keep the, the base texts for now. I will duplicate it by pressing Control D. And I have a duplicate of a text. I will copy that text, and I will paste it here. One thing that I forgot to mention in this example, I use the Titan one font. I will leave a comment or something like that where you can find it, but you can actually find it on Google fonts and probably on many free font websites is free font. I can't add to my project files because that's not the font that I created, but you can download it from internet. I will leave a link somewhere. Maybe in the comments may be on the working files. You'll find it if you want to use this one, but you can use any font you want. Just like this one, because it reminds me one game bads. That heads quite a similar font. So let's move on. And we need already to move the text out of the screen. So I'll press U and it will show me all the keyframes that I'm using on this layer. So I'll move the keyframes. And here I would like to see with TTX moving out and maiming like bed. Okay. A quite good. Let's duplicate this again. I'll press U again to see the keyframes. And I'll copy another. And I have a line of the lyrics. You can change the font size and everything here. If you need to. So far. It's good, but on the airlines I might need to change them. Some things. I need to move it out of his screen screen even faster. And I only obligated this. And I will copy an airline. I duplicate the first layer because it has a similar temple to the third beautiful morning, beautiful evening. Just, you can duplicate this, but more likely, but I need to change any keyframes on, on, on this one. Let's see how it looks. Maybe we will need to change that a little bit, but I will add other two lines. I'll duplicate this. And to give him make a beautiful life, I need to reduce the text size a little bit. It goes out of the screen. Maybe I will duplicate this because we have the default text size. Make a beautiful life. That's what the song says. Okay, let's see how it looks. Yeah, So what I see, I need to move this layer down a little bit earlier. And you're also, I think I need to change that a little bit. Maybe change like mad. And even earlier. Beautiful evening, a little bit earlier. I will increase the speed how this layer goes down. So there is quite a lot of manual adjustments, especially in lyric videos where the text is the main focus. There will be a lot of adjustments, but you see the tenancy, how I work on lyric video, all the other texts, all the other three minutes will be in fast forward mode. 11. Create the rest of the lyrics 10x speed: Already created the whole video. I created all the lyrics for this song, and the whole process took me about two hours. It's too long to show, and I'm repeating myself. I'm creating lyrics in the same way again and again and again. I know that some students want to have a look at the process, how I am creating both lyrics. I will keep this license, but it will be speeded up by 10 times. If you don't want to watch this, feel free to skip to the next lesson. In the next lesson, I will show some tips and tricks which I used in creating both lyrics. And I will look at them a little bit deeper. I'm leaving you now with the original song. And my speedup workflow is 350 D E F G a, B, C D E D at the end here, D E F G a T, T H T is a C, a, C, a, B, C, D E, F G, SP, SP in the Db, Db, Db, Db. Even a daily great new API. The API, the API, the API feeds into the year of the therapy is NPP. The enemies. What is the nature and laughing? The map here on the stack. So let's take a look at this graph. B, C, and D show the graph. Here. This is NF1 is the amount of expenditure and laughter. The mass here is a stack, is a class. So now let's plot the point of this class. Even a failing grade pass back to you and they can use caliber. Shows the half year NFP. The danger is about what is the weight between the exposure and laughter? And here is a hi. 12. Tips and tricks: While I was working on the lyrics, Adobe updated and after effects to a new version 2021 or version 18. I decided to use this version here in those last lessons. It doesn't have too much new features. Maybe you noticed that render options are in a different place. It was somewhere here previously. You can see we have a new button, draft 3D. That's a really cool feature when we are working with 3D. For example, if I pushes bottom, it will disable quality by a lot. But previews will be way, way faster. That's really awesome. Because when I was working with this video, I didn't have this button. Now you probably you can use base, but what I was doing, I was disabling particles and background to speed up a process, to speed up the timeline rendering, because it just quite slow on, as you can see, it's not a real time and It's only six or seven frames per second, which is slow. And that takes a lot of time to CVE animation, to synchronize it with the music and the lyrics in the song, I'd just be that bad. I disabled particles and background. You probably saw that in the previous version. If you watched that speed-up process lesson, that will allow us to work way, way faster. Now this button will help us even more. So that's great. So that's the first dip. Disabled things or ethics bad you don't need in the process and that will speed up your workflow. Another thing that you probably noticed in the last lesson, if you watched it, that I was adjusting the speed graph on the keyframes. For example, position. I was suggesting an AC now that this one is not right. So when you move the keyframes, sometimes or most of the time, speed graphs just broke. So keep in mind if you see that animation is somewhat strange. Have a look at your speed graph again, another tip for the lyric videos, especially in both where lyrics I have the main focus. Re-used your text. It's way easier than create a new, new texts layers. For example, this is my chorus part, and it repeats over and over again quite a lot. So I color-coded to color-code, it's very easy. You just click on this color and you can choose whatever color you want. That helps a lot to color code the parts which you want to repeat or which repeats during the song. And just use Control D to duplicate and move whatever you want. Usually, most of the time that works and you don't even have to change a timing or anything. Sometimes different parts of the song's have different timings. Or some lyrics slightly different, but in most cases, that works very well and useless. Save your time. As you can see, oh parts, repeats and, and that chorus, but I can find it now, but I know it's repeats. Another tip. You probably saw that I use the notes or the markers. I added those on the audio file when I was creating the lyrics. If your timeline is quite slow, it's a really good idea to add markers where I've early R6 starts. For example, just disable everything and listen to the song. You can press double L, l, L, and you will have a waveform. And when you know that you will add, I have a line of lyrics, just breath Asterix, and that will add a marker. That's a really, really helpful thing when the timeline is slow. So that's my basic things that helped me to create lyrics faster. And let's move the rendering. 13. How to render: Enable all the layers. Bet you where disabled. Setup there. Start off of your song. Setup, end of a song. You can use the shortcuts B and N, for example, B and N to end the timeline. So setup the timeline which you would like to render and go to File, export, Add to Media Encoder quiet, weighed couple of seconds, it will load up. It is loading on an MS. Green. So I see it, but you you can't unfortunately. And it took me, I don't know, ten seconds or something like that. It will open up. It will load our file. So you can see a couple, couple settings. You can set everything in here or you can set it up separately, separately. I recommend to use H.264 beds standard MP4 file. Or you can open here, you can find more settings. Let's wait for a second. Yeah, so we have a working area which will render format, as I said, H.264 better, best. You can also render in many, many other formats. For example, AVA, that's outdated and very large files. If you want a great quality, you can export in QuickTime beds, MLB, but I would recommend H.264, which is MP4. It's a small file and a great quality. Also, you can choose the presets. For example, we worked on 10 ADP. So I can choose Match Source High bitrate, or I can choose high-quality than ADP. If you want to stretch your file, you can render it in for K. So like a high-quality ten need to be because we worked in, in bed format. You can change the bit rate met for quality or the video. The high bitrate, the better quality will be. Something between 20 and 30 will be there. Well, you can see that estimator file size will be about 500 megabytes. I most of it I am press use maximum render quality. And I will set up the output name. You can press it here and set up. Or you can press it here and set up, for example, render and version 3. I render it two versions already. So that will be the third. Then press start and just wait. It will take me and I know it says seven minutes, but I believe it will take something 20 or 30 minutes. Usually, the time will increase. 14. Thank you!: Congratulations, You made it to the end of the scores. I hope you get a real grasp on how to create a lyric video. And a hope you created one in the wave at you like, if you create a lyric video, make sure to post it on the class project. And if you posted it on social media, please tag me as, @sblga so I can see it like it and leave you a comment. I really enjoy seeing my students work online. Thank you so much for taking this class and see you in the next one.
