1. Introduction to the Course: Hello, everyone. My name is marching and welcome in my course about color profiles. Let me quickly introduce myself. I am professional recapture retouching for fashion magazines doing commercial campaigns for or five years. But I also love to take images myself, and this is where I love to experiment with color. This is where I love to create my own presets and my own color profiles, which are actually my favorite. And in this course, I want to show you how you can create your own color profiles to speed up your world throw and to have this amazing effects on your images. So, simply speaking, how to make your images impressive just with one simple click. So what are called profiles were confined them. I already opened them and in the light from light room Classic CC, when you're going to work with some images that use the image and already applied some auto adjustments over here. But on the top of this basic Paolo, you have something called Profile and the light room provides you with some profiles, such as favorites at the bureau and few others, and it's absolutely good to use them. But many of them are not really useful. Men off them doesn't give me there a face that I really want. Some of them are too abstract, and some of them doesn't give me this really extra punch. That's why I create my own color profiles, and that's what I do in this course. For example, in this course, you will get this eight different color profiles down to give you absolutely amazing results. And I also want to teach you how to create your own color profiles. We can have a look on a few different images. How does it looks like this? Profiles were just created, especially for discourse, and you get them all for free within this course. So if this is something you want to learn, if you want to learn how toe create amazing color efforts and for your photography, if you want to learn how to create color profiles, discourse is absolutely for you. So I'm using. Color provides now in a double light from classic. What's important to know before starting this course, you need light room and for the shop together with camera, so you need photography plan from adobe. So if you have this and you think this is something you want to learn? I want to invite you to discourse, and you're not going to regret that. It's short. It's simple. It doesn't require and a deep knowledge. And after just one hour, you will be able to turn your images from regular tow. Absolutely amazing, impressive images. So let's move to the first lesson. 2. Preparing images in Lightroom: one thing you need to know before creating color profiles in camera. If you create color profiles on the raw files later on, they will be visible on the for your row files. If you will create your color profiles on Jay Peak images or TIF images later on, your color profiles will be available on every kind of foul, whether it's Jay Peak, PIF or raw file. So I want to make this universal. That's why I'm going to prepare the images and we will be actually creating color profiles on J Pick and TIF files. So later on, you will be able to use this profiles on any kind of image. So I have some color profess I made on raw files, and it's okay. There is some differences that might be small advantages for the ruffles, but they're not necessarily worth it. And I want to make it universal so you know how to do it in the future. And you will not wonder why doesn't work, for example, on Jay Peak images. So let's start from preparing. You always want to do it. You want to prepare the image. You want to make them flat. You want to make can off auto adjustment toe all of the images. And the reason for this is because once you do some auto adjustments to your images, they are not always perfect. So, for example, for this image, I'm not really going that farm, because once you have the good adjustments, good auto adjustments applied later on. It's easier to create color profiles with the contrast and this kind off think so. That's why I like to prepare the images by doing Samata adjustments. So at the first place in my look a little bit weird, but later on, it will be really worth it. So you can also straight the image. If you want, we can enable profile correction, he daughter. That's not that important, but you can do it if you want. So if you feel like enabling profile, quick correction, that's okay on. That's not necessarily massive. Important, though just the auto adjustments over here will be most important. Think you want to do? Maybe this image, this image I don't feel I'm gonna use this for profile, even though I put this here before, that's cool for that. They just quite good for color profile we can. Yeah, We can adjust this a little bit more stand, not necessarily trade. Sometimes it's nicer to look at the straight images, even though it doesn't change that much for your work. So once I hear that, I'm gonna feed this auto here it was. Okay, then let's move on with photo adjustments. So that might be a little bit time taking at first for you, If you will be creating that, of course. Shouldn't be too time taking off course because we are doing it with big number off images . Ah, Houston, when you will be creating color profile, it doesn't necessarily have to look like this. So what I'm going to do now, I'm going to speed this up. Just a little beat toe. Did this kind of auto adjustments to rest of my images and I was picked to you in a few seconds, and at this moment I prepared all of the images, so I applied some auto adjustments. What I did, too few images. I also and did some crop just to make the image look a little bit nicer because you want to have the image kind off prepared and know the final crop when you will be creating color profile and that will be just easier. So now we need to export that. So I'm selecting first or the last image just by clicking on days going to the 1st 1 then or the last one, depending on what was your first choice than perceived Hit on that. All of our images now are selected, so I'm going to file and then choose export export to I usually prepare folder for myself before, So I'm going to to specific folder and my specific folder is on desktop courses, color profile scores and processed images that my destination there is no sub folders. I'm not creating the sub folder. I'm going to rename that to file name, so I'm gonna keep the same file them as it waas and now the file settings. As I said, you can go with the J pic image. It will be absolutely fine. I'm going to go with a TIF file. Still high resolution. Maybe I'm gonna edit them a little bit more, so I'm going to keep this as a thief, though you don't have to worry if you create color profess on J picks It's absolutely fine . They will not be and differences, and the difference is between raw file or a different file. So if you have some Jay Peak images and you want to create color profile, you still can do it on. Don't worry about this, that I'm going to heat export and it's going to take a little bit because it's 30 files exporting. And once it's exported, I'm going to move to Cameron, and I hope you're going to move to camera yourself, and we're going to create some amazing color profiles. 3. Creating simple Color Profile: Now let's create some single profile and I'm going to start with this image. It's clean. It's simple. It will be perfect for our first test color profile. So we have a few options off opening this on now. I am in bridge so I can choose easily. Image here. It's the images that I exported in light room, and we need to open this in camera so we can just double hit. It will be open and for the shop, and after that we can go to the camera or we can open this in camera straight away. So I want to show you the simple example first. So I'm going to open this right in camera heat, right? And then we have option, like open in camera, some opening this image and what you can see. It doesn't have any adjustments yet, so we can apply some adjustments. Maybe I'm going to start with something simple. So we just did some ultra jasmine. So this is front in each. Let's apply some contrast, very simple adjustments because also not pull off the adjustments will be visible. A little bit of contrasts. I'm going to take a little beat highlights down, maybe even more contrast. Let's make it more contrasting, and we can go to some order panel like curve adjustment layer. I'm going to change this to the point curve, and I'm going to wash out chanters until bead and the highlights a legal be down, but something like this. So this contrast will be unequal, moody. Maybe we can off course apply some different colors by manipulating with red, green and Blue channel over here. You need to remember that when creating the color profile, the think you want to apply its lights and the colors so you don't want to apply anything. More lines and colors are two things that you are going to work with. Maybe we could start with right at a little bit off some cold color to the shadows, a little bit off warmer toe highlights, maybe, and the same with some other channel little blue to the shadows and a little bit off the yellow to the highlight. So the sun will be reflecting, maybe just a little bit nicer, so this is not something really fancy, but men. It's showing you how toe work with profiles, and I'm not huge fan off, applying too much off the color. Do not make it look artificial. So careful here. So let's say that's enough. Yeah, on and maybe a little bit hue, saturation ruminants the panel I really like to use when I'm creating my profiles because we have some blue color. So why not make blue unequal beat more? Maybe saturate that. Do we want satellite image? Why not? And some yellows, orange ease and Retz. Let's make them a little bit more saturated. We can manipulate with the hue, but we always have to be really careful with you. So I usually go with their blue if I want to manipulate the hue. But it's very important for you to remember that your color profiles needs to be universal . You don't want this color. Provide toe work just on one image. You want color profiles to work on many images, so let's say that's it. You want to finish. Now we are going to the panel called Presets. We have some presents here and now. If you heat this more icon, as you can see, you will be creating new preset, and that's how you can make the precept. But also here, you can make the profile. There's small difference. You will have to press out or option, and you will see because they cancel changing toe reset and opening me change into open copy. So press are corruption and he days and now on the top, you have a little bit different name new profile so we can name this profile. Test number one. This is not something we are going to use, really. And we used a few different panels. We used panels, basic point curve and hue, saturation ruminants. And to be honest, that's our three panels I often use even without point curve. If we don't want to use it, we can turn it off, and the adjustments from the point will not be applied. Sometimes I also use street turning, so usually operate between this for and I'm also going to create new group. So why It's important because you want to keep everything in order, so I'm going to name this mark Marcin Cooler profiles course a little bit long name, but it will be easy to find it and hit OK advanced settings. SK. We do not load any table and look up table. So everything is okay from what I see, then you just press okay and that's it. The profile should be created. Now let's see Marcy Color profiles course. That's where we made it. And now we kind of applying double the effect. So we don't want this, but we could test it on some other image. So I'm going to open some order. Nice image. Maybe this holiday image. Beautiful water. I must open this in camera. So right opening camera. And now we are going to test the profile that you just make test number one. And it's not Trabant. I think we might actually use it later on. As you can see, very nice saturated colors and the holiday image looks already much better. So let's move to their or their lesson. Create some other color profile. Now, once we're happy with the prophet, we can close it. And of course, here we don't have any settings applied because all the settings are converted into the profile. So if want to add something more, you can adjust the settings, and now we are going to create more profiles 4. Classic way of creating Color Profiles: in this lesson, as you already know how to make the profile, we might do a few different profiles, and then we will check which one is the best, and I are few really nice images. Thesis, as you can see, censored common in Cape Town here, a beautiful holiday image. Maybe not so beautiful because we have a little bit too many people from our issues and some other images perfect for creating nice color profiles for your photography. So let's start with this image. I'm going to press control. Of course, he tried and open in camera, and that will be pretty standard. So all of these images have already applied auto adjustments. That's why you will always be careful now. Highlight shadows. You don't really need to go too far with here with this because those things were already adjusted. If we are going to redo it again, your current profess might be not perfect. So that's why you mainly operate here with some contrast, then off course, some kerf adjustments. I want to do more contrast. So, like, I like this soft contrast. So that's why I'm going this way and let's see what else and Now I'm going to do something different, something that I didn't do it. So I'm going to split. Turning and speak to me is really amazing when you need to at some visible effect, like certain color to the shadows and certain color to the highlights. And it's all the same us in light from. So if you're familiar with flight from, you know, how does it work? So you know we have this sunset. We have some orange color coming from the house that is not really visible here, and it settles on the shadows. So that's why when you work with the colors, you want to think off this. What color suits. And, as you can see, when I'm pushing the orange color for the shadows, it's actually helping to this image so much. So let's, uh, Aunt Bea come out of this and then for the highlights. If we want proper sunset off course, we'll go with warm color all the way. I think it might disturb some balance over here, So if you want to be secure, go for the opposite color. Opposite colors always work well on the image, and we are going to talk about this a little bit more because this is very important part to mention off every color grating. To understand how that's color works, you don't want toe go with so random colors. So, for example, here you don't want to go this way. It doesn't look nice. You might think it's some interesting, trendy color, but the colors, the car many's needs to be preserved. So this is very important toe. Use the cars that one are possible on the image and tow the cars that work well together with them. So we have orange and blue. They complement each other really well because they're on the opposite spectrum. Off the color will then will go to hue. Saturation eliminates. I will add a little bit saturation on the blue color, our little bit saturation on the oranges, yellows set. So this image will be nice and saturated greens, of course. Let's push some other colors so you know, no matter which image organize, it will be reach and saturated that you are on this kind. Maybe a little beat. Mar Maurin, the friend here. So now we change. The blue and blue is very common color on all types of photography. So once you will apply this color profile, too, the blue it will look this way. So I'm pretty much done. And now I can save the color profile. So I'm going toe preset. Pamela. So the same place us always. I'm going to press out or option the same us before. And now let's name this orange. It's not necessary Orange tale, but similar. And number one so I might change the name later. This is for now for our understanding. This his first trial off our orange and tail. And this is mainly for the sunset. So it's very reach. No reason to name this because we need to test the later eve. The profile works. Well, let's check it for Vicky's. Okay? Don't forget about the group. So, Omar seen color profiles. Course, this is the group. I'm saving a tool if you don't have it. Of course, you don't have the same group hit, okay and profile is created. I can close. This image will be simple. I will open this in the camera and going to check. That's the previous one. Actually really like it. Look at this moody color. Our previous color profile and our our new color profile. You see this color profile is actually very warm. I might change the name a little from orange and tail to something closer to sense it. But both of the color profiles we created so far are really interesting, and I do really like them. So that's another profile. And I'm going to stay with this lesson because I want to so more different possibilities on try on a few different images to make sure things look wealth. Let's see our profile that we just created on this image. I think it's OK will try something similar now. Maybe let's start from the beginning. Contrast. I think we can go further with the contrast. I feel that this profile will create that it's not very contrast is so for this image I'm going to try with stronger contrast, although it's not necessarily suits to this image. So I'm going also to stick with curves a little bit more. I want to I want to do something more here. So that's why I'm actually trying to experiment more with curves. Look, we get in this magenta color, I would say, and yellows and blows for the highlights. I'm liking it. It's not as sharp. It's not a crispy. So that's the one problem what we will be facing here. But we might get somewhere we might get toe really nice position and not to match of days. We already getting quite in interesting colors here. That would be a few more things to do. I'm gonna increase the shadows. This is rarely think I'm doing, but I'm gonna also increase the contrast here. So we are at this stage. And now let's go to Hue, Saturation and hue. Saturation illuminates. I'm going to increase the saturation on blue and on oranges, which is very common color on some yellows as well. So many like tropical colors. So let's increase the green sleds, increased our quest and also with the sky. I'm going a little bit more into the sci color here. That's what I want. It's look really interesting here. Even though this image is dark, it's a little bit more difficult to create a profile over here, and we will see if the split turning works well because we might go something different here. Some interesting, slightly balance. I felt we had a little bit too much may be on the warm colors to the shadows. So let's see this because we have really a lot of warm color in the highlights we might need to push this, and I feel it works. Amazing. I'm gonna save it because I'm really happy with the result I got. So we are going to presets our corruption heat on this and this is origin tale, but in reverse tail number two, I might actually called us my ratios. Let's give to this profile the name off the location, Actually, So you will know this is the kind of tropical I learned atmosphere here groups the same. Let's pay attention to everything. It's okay. I'm gonna heat. Okay, Now I can close it. And let's test on some other image. He tried opening camera and a little scat. It's even stronger. I actually like it more than the previous one I created. Freddie. Good way. We are going happy. So to finish this lesson, maybe one more image with some interesting clad because I want to give you as many different options as possible show you that you can experiment. You can check the images here we have other really nice natural lake image. But we're doing this images before. So I'm going to try this image which has very similar color harmony. Two previous ones and I will open this in camera. It's very different location here. I want to add more contrast to this image, so we'll have different vibrations. Course it get here. More contrast. Let's try the rent. I don't think we should apply the court court shadows but more off the warm co two shadows and somehow sigh into the highlights on this. I want to stay at this point now what I want to do. I want to increase the saturation for the blue color and this is something very rare, but I need to mention that we will the crease. The luminess on the blue don't really go further than maybe minus 20 because it will not work on many images if you decrease the luminous. If you work with luminess too much, that's a risky road. You can do it, but that will be not the best advice I would give. So be careful with the luminous because, for example, sometimes you have quite dark blue sky for example, Cohen saturated. If you will decrease luminous and you will apply this color profile, it might be too strong for some image. That's why I'm telling to you to be really careful with this and I like the perfect Let's save it. And I'm gonna name this as there. Maybe we can try also speak to me once again. And that will be orange and tail number two. How would you feel for a single? So the same way French Tail number two as the group. The same as before. Okay. And in this lesson, we created three different color profiles. Will be checking at the end if they match without play. I think the works pretty well. I'm not huge fan off orange, and Taylor number one doesn't represent too much. So we'll see if I'm gonna preserve that. An orange and tail number two. I think it's nice. Strong, really rich colors. She can see skies visible. Test number one not necessary for this image. My issues also not necessary for this image served atmosphere is very different. Now let's move to another lesson and I will try to show you something different. Different options off creating color profiles, and we will dive into a lot because that's the other way, how you can make your profiles even more advance and it'll be more complicated, but the profits that will give you a little bit more color possibilities than just creating them using on the camera. 5. Converting LUTs into profiles: And now I'm going to show you another possibility in creating color profiles using a lot. So first of all, without getting too deep what? Our lads? Because this is actually not too important. Things are just color. Look up tables that you can create in 40 shop or other Softwares, and you can use them within foot, shop on your images or videos. But also lance can be used and transformed in tow. Color profess can be used to create color, profess and then can be transformed to color profile. So how to do it? We could simply go toe this preset stop and then when we press outer option and open this window, as you can see, we have the option. Something like color look up table. What it allows you to do. It allows you to load their a lot. If you have any and transformed this toe the profile, it will look slightly different, but it will have very similar nearly the same effort. So when you praise days, you can look for your computer. I have my own lines and then you can, of course, use it hit load, and then you can transform this to the color profile. I'm not going to love this right now, but what I want to teach you, I want to teach you how to create your own lattes and then how to transform them into color profiles, which will open your new doors in creating color profiles. So I'm going to close this hole, including this window. I'm going toe open for the shop. We have already given this prepared over here and now we're free to go. So their unjust in players that I have in front shop with selective color, whether it's filters, hue, saturation curves or anything else, I can use it now to manipulate with contrasts and colors and then transformed this to the profile. So let's start. I'm going to start from the contrasts, and I'm very happy to use levels now because it will give me nice manipulation for off course for their rights. So I'm going to work on it a little bit. Maybe the Krista highlights. Then I can go also of curves, which is same thing, as in Conroe or right room. That's work on contrast, a little bit more. We could even use exposure or anything we want so if I could use Explorer, I could use offset if I want to wash out. Dis image, for example, creates, um, off this sandy, folky affect. We decreased the effect of contrast now so I could go again with another curve adjustment layer or levels to work on this more because I watched this out. I want to bring back some of the contrast over here. We could work on this and little bit more. If you don't want to change saturation values or color values, you can manipulate with the blending mode. So when I apply something, it's always normal bending mode. When I change this to luminosity, I will not be changing the saturation values. In this case. You can actually see their small difference between the luminosity or normal, or if you don't want to change and the line values, you could change it to color them, so I would go with luminosity. Maybe I don't want to change in color right now. What else I could do. I could open color balance, and I can apply some color for the shadows. I would like to have some warm colors so I would go with rats and we can do really nice and selective color. Great. It's some of the yellow. So I get this nice orangey color over here. Then I can go to their highlights and for the highlights, I can add another color. If I wish I would add some blue and some science. So this is really amazing. Think enjoying the comfort I'm enjoying right now working on this. What else I can do. I can go to Hue, saturation and, for example, I want to work on this purple color over here. I would choose this hunt and I will apply. That's the loose. So for the blues, I will have more saturation on the color blues I can manipulate with you of this off course on There is not It's not necessary, but I want to. I can increase the colors on that I want. So, for example, writes, I can increase the reds, but being careful with this, I don't want to increase really oranges because I don't want toe affect this king tons that much as I could affect doing this ways. So we are pretty done with a lot. Of course, you can go further on. That's absolutely up to you that we have a lot of adjustment layers right now, and all of this can be transformed to them a lot. So I'm going to heat file export, and we goingto export is us color. Look up tables on choosing this. Great points a medium. It's fine. High qualities, okay, with maximum will be very difficult to export. Four months. You can just export this just as acute. Cube, if you want. I'm going to heat, Okay? And now we need to choose the location. So I prepared the folder under the name lots and I will remain this That will be, Let's call it warm, vibrant. That's that's the effort. We're going to create the warm and vibrant. I'm saving it. And now it means my lattice created how I know this. And if I don't know, you can check and we will have the vibrant Cube Cube is on the what We are interested. So I'm gonna remove everything else because as I mentioned to you before we can and check everything and save on the Cube Cube. Is there think that we are interested in? We will be doing this So when you save in it. And heat export, Colonial cap table's can just uncheck this and say that US Cube. So Okay, we have it. We can test it on the other image opening color. Look up, table adjustment layer, because that's how we find it. I'm gonna heat load treaty land. I'm going to love this. I'm going to find the folder where I save it. So finding where it is, where is it? Open. And as you can see, the effect is supplied. Nice, warm and vibrant. Affect. Okay. Could ask about how is it related to color profiles? Very simple. You can open some image or the same image we're working on in camera. It's just something similar. Now I need this one. I'm going to heat right and opening camera. Then I'm going to stretch toe presets. Press outer option. Open this and let's loud color look up table. I'm gonna find it now once again on the computer. Wherever I saved it, choose it and heat load. As you can see, we Onley loaded the color Look up table right now. We didn't added an adjustment. Now I'm showing you some say, for example, I'm gonna name this warm fiber under the same name, and I will say this to the group Color profile scores. Once again, I'm going to hit okay, and it's not applied yet, but you can see when we all pine the profiles warm, vibrant. Here we are. So we created the color profile from our latte. As you can see pretty good effort. I think it might be my favorite now, and the answer is simple. Have a lot of possibilities to work within 40 shops. So I often recommend creating lattes and based on lattes on creating color profiles. Then they become really powerful. And then you can't chief really amazing results. So this is how you convert lot to color profile, and this is also how you create. That's not on for your images, but also for your videos. 6. Color Profile based on LUT and Adjustements: in this lesson. We're going to the really beautiful color profile. What we are going to do. We are going to use one. That and then we are going to add additional adjustments to make sure the color profile we are creating is absolutely perfect. So before recording this less on, I prepared the vintage that let's open and let's see how the lot itself looks like. As you can see, I keep this under the name Vintage, and that's how it looks like. I feel it's pretty nice effect, a little bit yellowish, a little bit warm, so we will do a little bit more work around this, but it's pretty good start. Let's see, How does it work on the other image on this one? So I applied. I like it a little bit less here, and but we have more colors to do some extra work here, so I think it's pretty good start. I'm goingto do it on this image, so I'm going to remove the lot, and then I'm going to process straight away here from here to camera. So I'm going to future and then I'm choosing camera filter Perfect. We are here so first think you know how it is looking what you want to do. You want to convert this a lot to the profile first, so then we actually will be able to see visuals. You don't want to create the profile by adding the Latin anodyne adjustments because you will not really see the final outcome. So first, let's create the vintage color profile and then do feather adjustments. So I'm going toe preset our interruption heat on this icon that will be color profile scores, and I'm gonna name this vintage. So that's just simple. Call a look up table and that will be vintage so loud, this heat. Okay, and let's see. We should have our profound now create. You can already see how other profiles look on this image, and I think it's really interesting that over reach look really nice. I'm going to go vintage, so probably the vintage. I'm not really huge fun at this moment that much, but the depends on their taste for others, so I'm going to close it. Or first we can test if you want to add more. No, if you want to address, maybe not a swell let's keep it 100. And now for sure. I want more contrast here. So I'm pushing. Contrast Really strong. Come on. This last to be contrast. E vintage images have a lot of contrast that film many people creating vintage affects d don't really emulate the vintage effort that well, So the contrast is the first thing you want here. And still the highlights were pushed too far. I don't want it that far, so I'm taking down some highlights minus 20 maybe minus 20 something. And this is pretty good start before after I like what's happening here. Good start for me. Then I am going to go to few saturation ruminants and over here, for sure, I want more saturated reds, more saturated blues for sure it's the sky as well. But let's not get too crazy here. More saturated purpose, magenta as yellows, more saturated yellows for sure. And I was trying to make this pink, but we pushed the red, so it will. I think this for sure. Let's see now take down a neatly big performance and a little bit more off the highlight CM , and I'm really liking it a little bit more work on the color. So what I want to do I want to change the huge off this kind because the vintage images not necessarily have this Silex sky that we did here and a little bit darker, but not too much. Because, of course, as I mentioned before, you don't want to get too far with this. That will not leave you nice and natural results My anistan for this image have nice a saturated sky. It'll be class saturation for the blue. Maybe just do not make it to artificial. And I'm liking how it is right now. I don't want to get too far on. That's why I'm not gonna apply the street meaning but one thing I feel it's still it'll be too yellow, which is really easy way to fix it. It's working with thinking a little bit, so I'm going to add a little bit off Tintin toe. Remove this by 10. 10. Of course, I'm talking about magenta to remove this yellow. It does affect my sky. So now we come push by the husa Just the flu meet. Those are really important details on this level. I think it looks pretty good and I think it's time to save it. So now let's go to presets. Other option. I'm heating on this. We have basic hue, saturation ruminants, and we have color. Look up table as vintage. No, um, going to go color profiles course, and I'm going to call it proper vintage. That's it. OK, and that's it. You can see if we can do camera defaults. That would be our start. I'm really excited to see the proper vintage readjusted. It's really nice color we created here. Want to check what was before? That's 12 That's exactly the same. I'm just comparing. And I feel we created really cool color profile. Now, one thing I feel this shadows might be a little beat, two washed out. So I'm gonna polish this and it will be better. I'm gonna lower amount off this night to 80. Close it and what I'm going to do. Then I push the contrast and it'll be more. I want this slightly stronger. And as we lowered also the effect off, the colors were applied. I'm going to push the colors and it will be more Not too much, of course. Purples, magenta as griefs. Across of course, just a week will be. And also just soft touch for the car blew. Maybe a bit more off the reds here and luminess I want to lower a few points for the blue once again. And I feel right now this effect, this vintage effect will be much more settled and much more universal. So once again, going to presets press al direction Should this icon and I'm gonna name this proper vintage right now for myself, I'm putting number two. But of course I'm going to replace that because I don't want to mix everything right now. I want to keep the order. So if I'm improving this, I might put the different number. And later I'm going to replace this and keep it under the name just proper vintage. So group coral profile scores and think the same heat. Okay, and that would be it. I'm going to camera defaults. Let's check how it looks like current profiles called profile scores and proper vintage to proper vintage. Now I like proper vintage to us. You can see the shadows, but it will be better. I'm going to remove not profile group, but delete profit. And this one will be proper vintage to becoming a proper vintage. And that's it. We still have the vintage one. Yes, you can see I'm gonna keep it and think what else I could do with it. So I'm gonna consulate, and I will see how it works on the other image. Filter camera filter. And let's see how the US proper vintage works. And I'm absolutely loving this affect. So that's how used a lot later converted this to color profile end How used the color profile to create another color profile, and if that any corrections required, you also know how to do it. 7. Color Harmonies: and one more thing that you need to know to create successful, good looking presets is toe understand the colors. So I'm doing this at the very end because this is not the place you want to start to if you want to understand how to create them. But color is extremely important. Understanding the color understanding what's exist on the image is very important, and I always recommend to people this one website color scheme designer that come because it presents to you than different color harmonies and color harmonies. Air extremely important for your image. So explaining that to your in the simple way. For example, if you take the picture off some person and let's say the Paris on is dressed in erect colored clothes and you want the person to stand out how you can do it, you're gonna take this person and go maybe to some forest. Why? Because red color will stands out on the green Bagram, so that very basic theory about color harmony, how to make the colors work together, how to make the objects stand out etcetera. So most popular color harmony in this case will be orange. Entail color, harmony Why? Because orange and tell this bluish color complement each other very well. Thanks to that, these two colors can nicely stand out. Be visible. It creates a really nice death off the off the image. So that's why this is often some profile that out work with will be aren't entail. Maybe we can go to camera right now and we can see that. So here we have some of the blues kind, not too much. For example, if I'd like to go with something simple, I could go with orange color to the shadows, as you can see looking all right and then some off the bluish tons to the highlights. As you can see, we have two opposite colors and they kind off complement each other. So going back to the website, you can use at first when you start with your images. I don't think this is something you have to use always, but as you can see, you can starve of complementary color harmonies Where red color compliment green color. They worked together well, orange entail and other courts, so basically colors being opposite to each other. Don't make this if you have, for example, an allergic colors on the image. I get toe ask on being asked very often. Person showed me the ANA logic, color, harmony, for example, warm colors, and they try to change it in tow. Complementary color harmony that doesn't work. You need toe. Understand the image. At first, check how the image looks like and then this side. If that should be having on a logic colors or maybe complementary cars, then we have traumatic harmony, which is very similar to complementary. But we have one dominant color, so one primary color and to secondary records that will complement and this primary color and other color harmony that I already mentioned, which is Anna Logic. So if you have some sunset and also an image off sense, it will be in this orangey tones. You want to keep it in our engine turns. If you have two different colors on the image that complemented each other, you want to make them pop. So that's very basic, simple theory behind that, and that's how I work with my image. So pay attention to it, understand the colors and don't really apply the colors that wouldn't make any sense on the image. So, for example, cannot remove the situation here and what you don't want to do. You don't want to go with purple and had some purple to the highlights, because what happens yet this color never bean there, and it doesn't look well. It might look abstract. It might look artistic, but it doesn't seem to go natural with this image. That's why it's really worth toe. Understand color harmonies to understand color theory and try toe work with the colors that exist, the colors that look well and then off course, be creative doing that. 8. Monochromatic Color Profile: in this course I'm including eight different cold profiles, most off them that we created on during a recording these videos. So I want to open them and show you something with me East, For example, I created this sharp black and white color profile because I want to give you at least one simple black and white color profile. I didn't necessarily feel the need to make anything more than that because light room camera, they have pretty good this monochrome profiles. As you can see, when you open black and white, they have many different black and white effects. So I didn't feel I want to do much more. I didn't necessarily feel there is need for this one, but I wanted to include in case you want to create your own black and white profiles. You can even print base it on my profile. But how I do it simply in the basic panel you switched to black and white. So this is your start. And after that you can easily increase the contrast which I did. But I wanted to be it to be sharp, clean and simple. So I also brought up the shadows. Highlights a little beat down and I adjusted the blue just a little bit. Maybe on my understand. So thanks to that, when I will be applying my black and white effect, it will be sharp and clean. It will not be really too dark in an element. It's very bright. So I wanted to give you something simple because I know many people look for this nice, pure black and white results. And that is how I created this. So this is it about creating profiles. I'm going to show you how to find them and how to install them to your light room, how to find them enlightening because they're already installed. And I'm going to show you this in the next final lesson. 9. How to locate and instal Color Profiles: in this lesson, I am going to show you how to locate color profiles that you create it and also when you download the color profiles provided with this course, where to place them to have them available in light room and in camera. So after you created profiles in camera, you want to turn off your light room so you need to close your light room and opened this once again and you'll realize why? Because when you create them and if you're light room is keep being open. We found closing it without recent, and you will not see the color profile here. But once you open this reopen again, as you can see, the prophecy I was creating, there is no need for installing anything or placing them anywhere because they're already available here in light room, which is really useful. But what's more important, maybe you want to on his this in better order. And what's most important, you want to download my color profiles and install them to your life room. So what we can do? Can the heat right on this and just choose showing finder? So that's the one way and you will see all of the profiles you've created, or the other way can just heat light room preferences, which is a little bit longer. So it's better to use on this first way and then heat show, light room developed presets. You can see settings here. I can just double hit on that. And I see the created profiles here. I want to keep it in order. That's why I'm going to hit right and create new folder, which I'm going to name exactly us this group here, Marcy, color profiles course. And the eight color profiles that I have here I'm going to place to this folder I just created. So eight profiles. And now when you're going to download exactly this folder with my course, what you need to do, you need to locate this settings folder and place it inside. So once again, to make sure you got it, you open preferences presets, hit show light room, develop presets, settings and you copy, or you just move the downloaded our folder, which is marching color profile scores and place it here, then close it, reset your life from so close you're right. Room reopened this and then this color profiles will be available here in light room and in camera. Thank you for watching. I believe you enjoy discourse because color professor really amazing that I have you to speed up your workflow, so enjoy them. And maybe now you want to create create some off your own color profiles. Thank you.
